Atletico eye Alonso

09:40: Atletico Madrid are preparing to launch a surprise raid for left-back Marcus Alonso in January.

Spanish publication El Gol Digial reports that Atletico are keen on taking the wing-back to his hometown of Madrid.

It suggests that the Blues will make an approach for Atletico’s highly-rated Beligum midfielder Yannick Carrasco.

But Diego Simeone would apparently want Alonso as a makeweight in the deal.

Coutinho house-hunting in Barcelona

09:14: Philippe Coutinho still has his heart set on pushing through a transfer to Barcelona from Liverpool.

That’s according to Diario Gol, who claim the Brazil international has already started looking at potential houses in Spain.

His representatives supposedly flew out to Barcelona to find a house in the hope that a move can still be agreed in the January transfer window.

And the report claims Coutinho could opt for a house near Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Javier Mascherano close to the beach.

Mourinho’s requests

08:38: Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will quit Old Trafford for Paris Saint-Germain if the club do not sign Meust Ozil from Arsenal.

United are supposedly interested in bringing him to Old Trafford as they aim to reel in Manchester City at the Premier League summit.

Spanish publication Don Balon say the player’s future will actually impact whether or not Mourinho stays at Manchester United with PSG bene to bring him to France.

Mourinho has also requested United strengthen in three other positions.

The Portuguese boss also wants a centre-back, left-back and a striker to ensure he stays at Old Trafford.

Shaw interest

08:00: Arsenal are reportedly among several clubs keeping an eye Manchester United’s Luke Shaw.

The Telegraph says United will look to sell Shaw next summer for at least £20million.

Spurs, Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City are also keeping an eye.
