First up, Lessons from a Screenplay delivers a new video essay before the Oscars to highlight how Get Out delivers a new perspective in horror by simply telling us the story through the eyes of a black protagonist. That character choice alone makes all the difference in the lead character of Jordan Peele’s psychological thriller thinking that something isn’t quite right during his visit to his white girlfriend’s house.
