Four celebrities appeared on The Chase special today, including Phil Daniels, Isabel Hodgins, Janette Manrara and Roy Hudd.
The Strictly Come Dancing star was the second player to go up against today’s Chaser, Paul “the Sinnerman” Sinha.
Before she went head-to-head with the brainiac on the ITV quiz Bradley Walsh asked Janette about her career.
However, Bradley was surprised she hadn’t taken the typical route of a Strictly dancer.
“Welcome to the show, Janette. Now, you’re a dancer on Strictly. When you first started dancing how old were you?” he asked her.
She explained: “I was 12 in a musical theatre school and then I started dancing really more about 18 or 19.”
To which a surprised Bradley retorted: “So you didn’t come up through the ranks of being a young ballroom dancer and entering competitions and winning stuff?”
“No, actually I joined a show in the West End called Burn the Floor it’s all Latin and Ballroom dancing and that’s where I got all of my training really,” Janette continued.
“So you’re from Miami, right? How long have you been in the UK?” Bradley asked.
“About four years now,” the professional replied.
Bradley stated: “It’s a very brave thing to come on a British quiz show when you’ve only been in the country for four years.”

“Thank you for that!” Janette exclaimed as Bradley replied: ““No! It seriously is.”
Janette made it through to the Final Chase, along with the rest of the celebrities.
The foursome had a massive jackpot to play for after Roy went for the higher offer of £83,000.
It meant the team were playing for the huge sum of £100,000 to be split between their chosen charities after Roy went through after his head-to-head.
Viewers were impressed by Roy’s performance as well as his hilarious attitude to the game which saw Bradley gently berate him for chatting too much.
“Well done Roy #thechase,” one of those watching at home praised.
Another shared: “I really love #thechase . And Roy Hudd is totally ageless.”
“Roy Hudd is an absolute legend! #TheChase,” a third exclaimed.
While a fourth declared: “Well done Roy! You legend!!!”
“Can Roy adopt me as his granddaughter #TheChase,” mused a fifth fan.
Despite the team’s best efforts, they were caught by Paul although they were given some money to give to their charities.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
