The Chase: Bradley Walsh lashes out and SMASHES screen in unseen clip

The Chase has been on television screens for ten years and has been presented by Bradley Walsh since its inauguration.

Following a successful series, ITV has released a showreel of bloopers from the show.

In one clip, Bradley is seen getting so excited he punches the game show panel and accidentally cracks the glass.

During the chaser round, the contestant was waiting for the correct answer to be displayed when Bradley punched the panel.

“You’ve put…” he pointed at the giant screen in front of them and then pulled a face and punched his right hand down onto the glass.

The audience could then be heard laughing whilst the contestant standing next to him looked shocked.

Bradley then rubbed the glass before sitting on it and lying down to try and cover it.

“You’ve put…” he repeated, it was then clear the producers in the gallery were talking to him through his ear piece as he responded: “I have. I’ve cracked it, I’m so sorry.

“Ah can’t believe that’s happened! Have we got a spare?” he enquired.

The contestant standing next to him struggled to contain his laughter and Bradley turned to him and remarked: “You know when you get your 35 grand, could you lend me a couple of quid?”

The Chaser Mark Labbett also known as “the Beast” was seen sniggering in his chair as he waited for the answer to be given.

It comes after fellow Chaser Anne Hegerty left Bradley speechless in another unseen clip.

“The Governess” who almost always has a stern composure, was involved in a comical moment.

After a cash builder round, Bradley was about to reveal the correct answer when Anne erupted into a coughing fit.

Concerned, Bradley asked if Anne would like some water to which she replied: “I wouldn’t mind.”

Intent on explaining her cough Anne remarked: “I know exactly what it is.

“I’ve been eating those little Snickers things and the nuts get caught in your throat.”

But it wasn’t until Anne finished what she said when she realised the innuendo, and added: “I’ve got nuts caught in my throat!”

Anticipating a cheeky response from Bradley, the contestant was heard sternly suggesting: “Don’t Bradley. Don’t.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and The Chase: Bloopers airs December 23.
