What will happen in The 100 season 5, episode 6?
Episode six is titled Exit Wounds and will be airing on The CW in America on Tuesday, June 5.
British fans can watch the next instalment the following day (Wednesday, June 6) on Amazon Prime.
The 100 season five is available to watch on a weekly basis with a total of 13 episodes in this run.
A synopsis for the next episode reads: “Kane’s (played by Henry Ian Cusick) attempt to prove himself useful tests Wonkru’s allegiance to Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos).
“Madi (Lola Flannery) faces an unexpected threat inside Wonkru, forcing Clarke (Eliza Taylor) to make an unlikely ally.”
Along the episode summary, a short preview trailer has been released and offers some teasing hints about what to expect.
The teaser starts with a message calling for peace, hinting that there could be a new era on the horizon.
Sadly, the moment is juxtaposed with Octavia saying: “Shoot anyone who tries to defect.”
She’s seen getting in a physical fight and crossing swords as she seems to take a darker path.
“You murdered your people!” Octavia is warned. But she refuses to heed the warning as she hits back: “I executed traitors!”
As the promo continues, it looks like Octavia is taking pot shots as people flee.
“Only a fool fights a war they can’t win,” Echo (Tasya Teles) tells Octavia, who seems to ignore her concerns.
Season five is coming up to the halfway mark. This week’s episode called Shifting Sands saw Octavia continuing on her pursuit for power as she took her people towards the Shadow Valley, ignoring Clarke and Bellamy Blake’s (Bob Morley) warnings.
In a bid to protect her from the sandstorms, both Clarke and Bellamy go with Octavia and journey through the desert to reach the valley.
However, it was to the detriment of Octavia, who ended up nearly dying when an aggressive worm gets inside her body.
Thanks to Clarke, who manages to cut off the circulation and prevent the worm from moving further, she’s able to save Octavia’s life.
Despite being grateful for saving her, Octavia warns Clarke’s boyfriend not to ever speak out again the Wonkru again or risk facing her wrath.
