The 10 Most Expensive Cars Sold at the 2017 Monterey Auctions, Day 2

–Well, that escalated quickly. The most expensive car from Day 1 of the auctions in Monterey this year went for $ 605,000. Friday’s sales saw 28 cars go for at least $ 1 million, three of which busted well into eight figures. Among them were the most expensive British car ever sold at auction (an Aston Martin, for $ 22,550,000), the priciest McLaren F1 (at $ 15,620,000), and the highest hammer price in history for a Porsche ($ 14,080,000).
