On the latest instalment of the ITV dating show, Diego from Oxford secured himself a date to take to the island of Fernando.
The bachelor whittled it down to two of the singletons who had left their lights on, Phillippa and Anneka.
To decide which of the ladies he should take to Fernando – also known as Puerto De La Cruz, Tenerife – Diego was permitted to ask them both the same question.
He asked: “If I was to do your make-up, what character would you like me to transform you into and why?”
Matchmaker Paddy, 43, turned to Phillippa to give the first answer to the question.
However, the bachelorette simply ignored him, carrying on a conversation with one of the other contestants stood next to her.
In a bizarre scene, Paddy asked her if she had heard the question, to which Phillippa turned around and nodded approvingly.
But instead of answering, she carried on smiling until the Phoenix Nights star simply moved straight on to Anneka’s response.
Luckily for Phillippa, her refusal to answer did not seem to matter to Diego, who chose to take her to Fernando over Anneka.
