“Somehow, they will have to make apologies to the Russian side,” he said. “But of course, it’s still a long way off, and this idiocy has gone too far.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin, meanwhile, said he was looking forward to the upcoming emergency session of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), hoping it will put the Skripal case to rest.

“We have prepared at least 20 questions for discussion. We hope that this discussion will put an end to this issue,” Putin told journalists in Ankara, where he was holding a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The head of Russia’s Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has said that while he is proud to be sanctioned under the Magnitsky Act, the US should search for real human rights abusers at home, “in the White House and the Pentagon.”

Kadyrov seemed flattered to be placed on the US sanctions list alongside four other Russian nationals Wednesday. The Chechen leader said he felt himself a highly distinguished person having received “so many merits from America.”

“Oh, the Magnitsky list. It means I’m violating human rights,” Kadyrov said sarcastically, while getting off a lifting bench with an enormous barbell. “Poor Americans! One small but proud Chechen republic haunts an entire country.”

Washington, however, “may not worry,” since he has “not received an order to step on the US soil yet,” Kadyrov went on, referring to the entry ban imposed on him as one of the “features” of the Magnitsky list.

“So, I’ve been barred from entering the US. But would I apply for visa, do I have assets in the US banks? I’ve said already but will repeat for the most oblivious, that I would not travel to the US even if I’d been offered all the monetary reserves of the country as a prize,” the Chechen leader said further in the post attached to the video.

Kadyrov insisted he was sanctioned not because of some alleged human rights abuses, but rather due to his relentless lifelong fight against terrorists, many of whom were “fosterlings of the American special services.”

“I can be proud that I’m displeasing for the US intelligence agencies,” he said. “They say that sanctions are somehow linked to human rights abuses. Well, then why look for people to fill the list on the other side of the world, when they are right in the White House and in the Pentagon?”

Kadyrov also provided his own list of wars and human rights violations the US was involved in, and wondered if “all the US presidents and defense ministers” implicated were sanctioned as well.

“Have you forgotten about the massacred Indigenous Americans, millions of African slaves, victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, millions of the Vietnamese, the Son My village, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Belgrade… My list contains thousands of bloody deeds of the US,” Kadyrov said.

“So for whom the bell tolls?” he concluded, adding there is “peace and stability in Chechnya, while the US sheds blood all over the world.”

The first half of the AMC show’s latest instalment has shown a constant stream of viewers’ beloved characters embarking on All Out War against Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors. 

Episode seven of the zombie horror then saw Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) carefully laid plans to destroy his nemesis inadvertently sabotaged by Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) and Morgan Jones (Lennie James), as Negan looks set to gain the upper hand once more in the next chapter. 

In an interview with The Independent, actress Katelyn Nacon, who plays the young Enid, revealed: “There is going to be some tough stuff to come but I feel like it will come with a silver lining because there are a lot of horrifying things to come, but also a lot of beautiful things that comes with it, comes because of it.”

She teased: “It’s a big win-lose situation because it is a tough show to get through – it can punch you back – but I would say that a lot of beauty comes from the horror. We have to wait and see what’s going to come after and how it’s going to affect the show.”

The latest trailer indicates that Rick’s immediate family, Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), are left fearing for their lives as they hold tight at the Alexandria fort, but could this be the moment Carl steps up as a leader in his father’s place, or is there a more frightening fate planned? 

The teen declares: “All we’ve got to do is survive the night,” which could reveal one of the characters holed up may ultimately lose their battle. 

One possibility is that the devastating theory surrounding baby Judith’s future could come true, following the introduction of the little girl Rick discovered at the Sanctuary as he realised he’d killed her father. 

Fans speculated that the flash forward sequence depicting Old Man Rick actually featured the aforementioned infant years later, rather than the sheriff’s own daughter. 

Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that the stuffed bunny rabbit residing in the orphaned-baby’s cot was being carried by the mystery-blonde child in the flash forward, seemingly confirming the upsetting theory that Judith’s death is imminent. 

But will it occur in the mid-season finale, titled How It’s Gotta Be? And what would the impact be on Rick and his ever-hardening son Carl?

Earlier this year the world lost the original Dark Knight at 89-years-old after a short battle with leukaemia.

Nevertheless West managed to complete recording his lines for his second animated feature-length movie, Batman vs. Two-Face –

Joined by Star Trek’s very own William Shatner as the iconic villain, West returns with original TV series cast members Julie Newmar as Catwoman and Burt Ward as Robin.

The latter spoke exclusively – and incredibly enthusiastically – with Express.co.uk about West’s final bout at Batman…or is it?

The lively 72-year-old announced himself with “Hello Citizen!” before teasing how we might not have seen the last of Adam West’s Batman.

Ward said: “I don’t know about that. I just don’t know if that’s his final performance or not.

“I can’t say! I’ve already gotten my hand slapped! But I will say this: Technically, things can be done and that’s all I’m gonna say.

“It will definitely depend on how this film [Batman vs. Two-Face] does, but y’know you’d be surprised. Technology is so amazing especially in the film the and television business.”

Ward, who incredibly sounds exactly the same as his 19-year-old self in the 1960s Batman TV series, also revealed how many ‘holies’ he’s made over the years.

He said: “In the series I did 378 [over 120 shows], of which I got to write some of them.”

And when asked who his favourite Batman was other than Adam, he replied loyally: “All the others are wonderful actors, but there’s only one Batman and that’s Adam West.”

Star of The Saturdays, Vanessa White, could be about to complete a stint in the Australian jungle after recently splitting from her long-term boyfriend. 

The 27-year-old is said to be “up for the challenge” of taking on tasks set by hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. 

A source close to Vanessa revealed: “Vanessa is a stunning girl from a massive band so she’s an exciting first signing for I’m A Celebrity.

“She’s still focussing on her music career but is up for the challenge since being newly single,” they added to The Sun. 

The brunette beauty reportedly split from Gary Salter after a six year relationship back in April of this year. 

This rumour comes after fellow bandmate, Mollie King, signed up to take part in Strictly Come Dancing when it returns to the BBC in autumn. 

The 30-year-old said of her announcement: “I’m so bad at keeping secrets lie this and now I’m like ‘thank goodness, I can now tell my family and friends…

“I do want to win, but really I just don’t want to be out in the first week. That would be so embarrassing!

“I’m going to be lapping it up [in the spray tan booth]. If only real life was like that every day… brush your teeth, have a spray tan…

“This is completely different [to being in The Saturdays], I am going to be really nervous but you just have to throw yourself in haven’t you?”

So there you have it. Despite numerous reports that Craig will be returning as 007 for the 25th Bond movie, which was announced in July will be released on November 8, 2019, it sounds like Craig is still working things out.

Craig will be seen next in Steven Soderbergh’s heist movie, “Logan Lucky,” which opens in theaters Friday.

Craig has been playing James Bond since 2006’s “Casino Royale.” His last movie as Bond, 2015’s “Spectre,” grossed over $ 880 million worldwide. However, leading up to the release of the movie Craig seemed to tire of the role, now famously stating that he’d rather “slit my wrists” than play Bond again.
