Princess Diana, the mother of Prince William, 35, and Prince Harry, 33, was a well-loved woman who died tragically in August 1997. The stunning royal had a whole host of royal jewels, some of which were borrowed from the Royal Family, while others were private gifts. Diana notably wore one stunning brooch, which she often styled as a necklace, the Prince of Wales Feathers brooch. The Princess, who was very inventive with her jewellery, had an emerald cabochon drop added to the pretty piece. An engagement gift from the Queen Mother, Prince Charles’ Grandmother, Diana wore the present on numerous occasions as nod to her husband. She especially like to wear the brooch as a necklace with emerald and diamond earrings that Charles bought for her as a wedding gift. On close inspection, the brooch has the three feathers, beautifully rendered in diamonds. There are 18 brilliant-cut diamonds, and tiny emeralds and a ruby also appear on the stunning piece, which was originally a wedding gift to Queen Alexandra from the “Ladies of Bristol.” It was then handed down to her daughter-in-law Queen Mary, then the Queen Mother. Camilla Parker-Bowles, 70, has been seen wearing the gift to Diana on numerous occasions since she married Prince Charles, 69. Camilla was first seen wearing the present one year after she married Charles at a movie premiere. The Daily Mail stated at the time: “It is understood that the prince was particularly keen for his new bride to wear the brooch because of its association with successive Princes of Wales.” When Diana divorced Charles the wedding present was taken back by the royal family, as it is an heirloom. Britons can look forward to the day that Kate Middleton will wear the piece, as one day she will be the Princess of Wales. Many will wonder what has become of the other stunning pieces of jewellery Princess Diana wore before her tragic death. What happened to Princess Diana’s jewellery? Princess Diana stated she would leave her jewellery to her sons, so that they could give them to their wives when they married. Her ring from Charles became Kate Middleton’s engagement ring when she married Prince William, 35. Her sapphire choker, originally a brooch, was a gift from the Queen Mother to Diana on her wedding day. It is thought that diamond from the piece are the ones used for Prince Harry’s fiancee Meghan Markle’s engagement ring.

Kate Middleton, 35, is now a mother-of-two to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
She has her two adorable children with Prince William, also 35, second-in-line to the British throne.
The Duchess of Cambridge met her husband at St Andrews University, and the pair married in 2011. During her time at St Andrews Kate studied History of Art, and was also a keen sportswoman, playing hockey for the Scottish university.
The brunette also took part in a fashion show, modelling a risqué see-through design.
The dress was made by University of the West of England fashion graduate Charlotte Todd, who writes on her Twitter bio: “Fashion graduate & knitted textile designer. Designer of the see-through Kate Middleton dress worn in the 2002 St Andrews fashion show”.
The dress was created during a project called ‘The Art of Seduction’ and was never intended for Kate.
Charlotte Todd told People: “I didn’t know who Kate Middleton was and I didn’t put her in it. It was just pure chance!”
However, the designer made a huge sum from the dress when it was sold at auction in March 2011 for £78,000.
The auction took place in central London, and the designer appeared alongside her design to watch the event.
Like many of the designs Kate Middleton has worn, the see-through dress was a hit, and went for £65,000 plus a buyer’s premium of £13,000.
It was bought for a mystery bidder, so who knows where in the world the sexy garment is now.
The knitted slip has a blue band above the bust and at the bottom of the garment, where a turquoise ribbon is woven through the fabric.
How much is Kate Middleton’s engagement ring worth?
When Prince William proposed to his now wife, the prince opted to use his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring – a stunning sapphire set in diamonds.
The move may have inadvertently boosted the value of the royal ring, which is now worth almost nine times its original value.
The ring was originally bought for Lady Diana Spencer in 1981, and cost an eye-watering £28,500.
The widow of magician Paul Daniels, was plunged into her first winner-saves-all performance during a dramatic climax to the show’s annual visit to Blackpool.
Even dressing up as Spice Girl Geri Halliwell in a tiny Union Jack dress could not save her from a shock showdown with Jonnie Peacock.
Finishing in the bottom two meant Debbie has now been overtaken by former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke as the new favourite to win the series.
Last night viewers saw Paralympian hero Jonnie, 24, and his professional partner Oti Mabuse axed from the competition as Debbie and her professional partner Giovanni Pernice limped through to next week.
All four of the judges decided to save Debbie, who danced a Samba to a Spice Girls medley, with Bruno Tonioli saying: “I have to save the couple who I think overall is much stronger and for that reason I save Debbie and Giovanni.”
Alexandra, 29, who was accused of faking tears of joy inside the world famous Tower Ballroom, is now the 2-1 favourite to lift the glitter ball trophy next month with Debbie pushed out to 9-4.
Despite being the oldest contestant this year, Debbie, 59, has wowed with a string of dazzling displays that have defi ed her age and sparked rumours of a romance with Giovanni, 27.
Their red-hot routines have included a sultry tango which scored a perfect 40.
But she said talk of her bagging a toy boy, as well as the Strictly title, was wide of the mark.
“Giovanni is 30 years younger then me but it’s absolutely great people think he fancies me,” she said.
“People see us dancing these sexy routines and assume something must be going on. The truth is we really like each other but it isn’t a love affair.
“We love each other, but we are not in love with each other. “It’s just one of those very special friendships that come along rarely but I am loving every minute of his company and being on the show.”
The Victoria’s Secret show is one of the biggest fashion catwalks of the year and is hotly anticipated by fan.
This year, it is rumoured Harry Styles and Taylor Swift will be performing on the catwalk. Taylor previously performed for VS in 2014.
One of the biggest parts of the show is the Fantasy Bra, and each year a different model has the honour of wearing the diamond and gem-encrusted design.
Lais Ribeiro will wear the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra, worth £1.5million, for 2017.
But which is the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever made? Victoria’s Secret are famed for their extravagant designs and many luxury bras have made it down the runway.
There has been a Fantasy Bra designed every year since 1996, and supermodels such as Tyra Banks and Claudia Schiffer have been photographed in the iconic underwear.
However only one model gets the accolade of wearing the most expensive of all time, and that is Giselle Bündchen.
The Brazilian model has worn the Fantasy Bra twice, once in 2000 and again in 2005.
It was her first run that saw her don the most expensive ever. The Red Hot Fantasy Bra and Panty set was worth an eye-watering $ 15million (£11.3million).
However, the luxurious ruby lingerie was not seen on the catwalk, as the Fantasy Bra was not sent down the runway from 1997 – 2000.
It has appeared every other year since, barring 2004, when Tyra Banks slipped into the Heavenly “70” Bra for promotional photos only.
Tyra has walked down the catwalk in a Fantasy Bra before though, as she wore the first ever version in 1996.
The Million Dollar Miracle Bra was worn by Claudia Schiffer in the billboard advertising, but Tyra modelled it for the catwalk.
Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima have worn the Fantasy Bra the most times of any model, racking up three appearances each.
Heidi has not walked for VS since 2009, whilst Adriana is set to appear once again this year in China.
Alongside Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana has walked the most for the brand, with each woman clocking 16 appearances each.

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is regularly seen wearing some of the world’s finest jewels
According to a new book “How To Dress Like A Princess: The Secrets Of Kate’s Wardrobe”, by Claudia Joseph, Kate Middleton’s jewels are thought to be worth £600,000 – but she also wears countless priceless pieces from the Royal collection.
Not all of the jewellery she wears is worth thousands, and in Ottawa in 2011 she wore £126 gold-plated leaf earrings from Vinnie Day.
In 2013, Kate, 35, attended a film premiere in a 19.99 necklace from Zara, and she has worn an £8 pair of earrings from Accessorize.
But the most stunning pieces in her collection are of course the more lavish items.

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wore the Cartier Halo Tiara on her wedding day
Cartier is a favourite of Kate’s, and she wore a pair of gold and diamond hoop earrings given to her by Prince William, and costing £35,700, at a SoprtsAid 40th anniversary dinner last year. She has also been photographed in the matching necklace, £55,000.
She also sports a Cartier watch, although it is a low-key choice with no bling.
A pair of aquamarine drop earrings she wore in 2015 are thought to be worth £14,300.
Her most famous item of jewellery is of course her engagement ring, originally owned by Princess Diana and bought by Garrard. It is thought to be worth £300,000 today.

Prince Charles has also gifted his daughter-in-law jewellery, including a £150,000 diamond bracelet.
And what of the heirloom pieces Kate enjoys access to as a member of the Royal Family? Aside from her engagement, these are all considered priceless thanks to their rich history and royal connections.
Grant Mobley, a gemologist and Director at Pluczenik, one of the world’s leading diamantaires said: “Without a doubt, the most well-known piece of diamond jewellery owned by The Duchess of Cambridge is her House of Garrard-designed engagement ring.
“Previously worn by the late Princess Diana, the ring, features a 12-carat oval cut Ceylon sapphire surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds set in white gold. This iconic piece cost £28,500 in 1981, and now has an estimated value of £300,000.

The Cartier Halo Tiara that The Duchess of Cambridge wore on her wedding day is a magnificent piece
“The Cartier Halo Tiara that The Duchess of Cambridge wore on her wedding day is also a magnificent piece.
“Originally purchased from Cartier in 1936, the tiara is encrusted with nearly 1,000 diamonds and was as an anniversary gift from King George VI to his wife, Queen Elizabeth I (the Queen’s mother). It was then re-gifted to Queen Elizabeth II on her 18th birthday.
“In addition to the Halo Tiara, Kate’s wedding day earrings were both spectacular and simplistic in design.
“These earrings aligned perfectly with the elegant and timeless look Kate opted for on her big day. A custom-made gift from Kate’s parents, the earrings featured a diamond stylised acorn and oak leaf, both part of the Middleton family’s coat of arms.

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has worn the Nizam of Hyderabad necklace: It has 38 diamonds
“The Nizam of Hyderabad necklace is one of the most extravagant pieces Kate has worn. Featuring an astounding 38 diamonds in total, its centre boasts 13 emerald cut diamonds and a pear-shaped drop pendant.
“Due to its diamond composition, this statement necklace is incredibly valuable and rich in history. Kate borrowed the stunning necklace from the Queen to wear to a black tie fundraiser in London.
“This piece was gifted to the Queen on her wedding day by Nizam of Hyderabad in India, hence the name, and she has worn it for several official portraits.
“Finally, the diamond-encrusted maple leaf brooch that The Duchess of Cambridge wore during her first Canadian tour in 2011.
“This piece was borrowed from the Queen’s robust jewellery collection and is one of the most recognisable brooches that she owns.
“First worn by the Queen’s mother on her first visit to Canada in 1939, and then by the Queen in 1951, this stunning diamond brooch has become a staple piece for the Royal family while visiting Canada.
“The size, quality, and number of the diamonds in these superb pieces make them extremely valuable – and their history and sentimental significance make them priceless.”

Audrey Hepburn’s gown worn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s has been named the best movie dress ever
And with little black dresses sported regularly on the red carpet by modern celebrities like singer Taylor Swift and actress Scarlett Johansson, there’s no doubt the design has stood the test of time.
So it’s no surprise that a little – or long – black dress has become a wardrobe staple and is the go-to outfit women choose to boost their confidence, research has found.
Women feeling flirty may pick red, the colour of passion, for first dates, parties and nights out.
But black is the classic colour they think makes them look most sophisticated – the view of 47 per cent – and gives the best first impression (25 per cent).
And 44 per cent say they feel most confident wearing black – with red a distant runner-up (16 per cent).
Two thirds power dress in black for job interviews and 55 per cent prefer to wear black to work.
Women typically play safe on social occasions too with black the most popular colour for dinners (35 per cent), nights out (34 per cent), first dates (31 per cent) and anniversaries (19 per cent).

As children all over the country start school this week, black is also the top choice for mums on the school run (19 per cent).
In the fashion world black is never out of style
Women also prefer black lingerie in the bedroom (19 per cent) ahead of red (13 per cent), white (11 per cent), pink (10 per cent) and blue (six per cent).
Fashion psychologist Professor Karen Pine said that women are much more likely to be judged on their clothing than men and black is typically their go-to colour.
She said: “Dressing in black immediately makes us feel sophisticated – think of the black-tie event – and we rarely dress youngsters in black.

“Therefore it is the colour most associated with maturity, strength and sophistication.
“Power dressing starts with black; it is the ultimate colour symbolising authority, success and capability.
“When we put it on we immediately internalise what it stands for – we start to feel strong, serious and powerful and our inner confidence gets a huge boost.
“Confidence is most important to us when we are faced with a significant occasion like a job interview or a date, where we want to make a powerful impact and where the first impression really matters.
“In the fashion world black is never out of style. It is the colour that suits everyone and it goes with everything, so we can wear it confidently without worrying over whether or not we made the right choice.
“And if we want body confidence, then black is the go-to colour. It is super flattering because it absorbs light and makes our overall silhouette appear slimmer.”
The handful of social events where women prefer another colour to black include attending a wedding, researchers found.
Female wedding guests are most likely to sport blue (22 per cent), followed by pink (18 per cent) and purple (13 per cent).
Blue is also the most popular colour when meeting a partner’s parents, cited by 22 per cent – followed by black (14 per cent).
And white is the ‘in’ colour for beachwear (18 per cent), followed by blue (12 per cent) and yellow (10 per cent).
Researchers asked 1,100 women of all ages their favourite colour of clothing for particular occasions.

Actress Scarlett Johansson is also a fan of the little black dress
While black was almost always their top pick, brown invariably came bottom.
Less than one per cent would feel confident wearing brown to an interview, date or other special occasion.
Grey is seen as good for work; blue or pink perfect for weddings; and white, yellow and orange come out of the closet for trips to the beach.
Almost a quarter – 24 per cent – of women will tell a friend if they dress badly, found the survey of 1,500 women carried out for deodorant brand Sure Invisible Black + White.
And nearly one in five – 18 per cent – copy a friend’s style if they like it.
The survey was carried out for antiperspirant brand Sure Invisible Black + White.
Bonobos InstagramYour gym shorts are one of the most underrated pieces in your closet.
They’re practically designed to be drenched in dirt, grime, and sweat, so it may seem counterintuitive to invest in a pair — much less care about the small details like fit and fabric. But if you want to make the most out of your time spent exercising, it’s important to choose your shorts with care.
Bonobos’ activewear line, Good Sport, might have exactly what you’re looking for.
When Andy Dunn and Brian Spaly founded the Bonobos in 2007, they wanted to make the one thing they couldn’t find on the market: guy’s pants that weren’t too tight or too baggy. The duo introduced a curved waistband, medium rise, and trimmer cut through the thigh to create one of the best-fitting pants on the market today. Nearly a decade later, Bonobos applied its fit-first mentality to a pair of gym shorts called “Core Shorts.”
Unlike most gym shorts that have a nondescript “small,” “medium,” “large” sizing system, the Core Shorts use waist measurement sizes. Bonobos’ shorts should be the same size as the trousers you wear to work. Thanks to the their elastic waistband and four-way stretch, moisture-wicking fabric, these shorts are fitted, but comfortable enough to do lunges, burpees, and sprints.
Fit aside, the Core Shorts boast other cool features that make them worth the steep $ 68-$ 88 price tag. There’s a discreet zippered pocket and interior catch to stow your phone and keys. The subtle reflective paneling is perfect for anyone who wants to squeeze in an outdoor run after the sun has set for the today. They look nice, too.
The guys of Insider Picks have tried their fair share of workout clothes, and these shorts are quickly becoming a new favorite. Here’s what they had to say:
In my mind, Bonobos is a pants company that started making shirts, but now that I’ve had the chance to try their Core Shorts I realize that they’ve done a lot of growing up since I first heard of them.
These are fully fledged performance shorts. While I would prefer a little shorter length, they have the right weight and fit. These shorts will not look out of place around town or at the gym, and they’ve got all of the functionality you want without any needless pockets or features. At $ 78, you can definitely find cheaper shorts, but if you are the kind of person who already wears Nike or Lululemon, these shorts would fit right in with the rest of your workout gear.
Bonobos InstagramI don’t exercise a whole lot, so while I can’t say I’ve put them through their full paces, Bonobos’ shorts will be near the top of my rotation when I finally get around to restarting my CouchTo5K regimen. They’re short without being too short, tight without being uncomfortable, and have pockets (although I probably won’t run with anything in them). I usually like running in baggy basketball shorts, but this pair is beginning to show me the benefits of trying a nicer option.
I tried out the navy Core Shorts and was an instant fan. Not only did they have the minimalist look I prefer in gym clothes, they also had my two necessary features for gym shorts. First, a brief liner is a must-have because it cuts down on laundry for the week, which you can’t put a price on (well, maybe you can).
The other feature that sells me on a good pair of gym shorts is slim pockets. Gym shorts with large pockets tend to leave your iPod flying around or falling out when you try more active movements. This Bonobos pair has slim enough pockets that the movement was minimal and I could exercise freely without concern. After a few wears, the Core Shorts earned a definite place in my gym bag by checking all the boxes in comfort, style, and functionality.

Boat shoes are one thing that I’m never going to stop wearing. They are such a versatile shoe, and they look great with chinos, jeans, shorts and basically everything except a suit or tuxedo.
That being said, there are ways to ensure that one doesn’t give off too much of a fraternity vibe when wearing boat shoes, which is why I like this pair that Jack Erwin sent us to review last summer.
When we put together our original review, this is what I said about the shoes:
It’s really hard to differentiate between boat shoes, but these managed to be one of the more interesting pairs I’ve come across. The most immediate thing that strikes me about these is their shape. They are designed in a way that gives them the silhouette of a dress shoes, which I have come to love, as it makes the whole shoe feel a lot more grown up, and a lot less like a frat bro shoe.
The sole is thick and sturdy; it gives me the impression that it won’t wear out quickly, so it may have a chance of lasting longer than one summer, like my usual pair. The other element that stood out was the construction around the heel; it looks like it will hold its shape rather than get smashed down with repeated use.
At $ 125, these are about $ 30 more expensive than what I normally spend, but I’d feel comfortable going with this pair just because it’s a way for me to keep wearing boat shoes as an adult.
While the above praise was warranted then, they’ve also proved that they can stand the test of time. After a year of use, I can’t say enough about how well these have held up. My chief complaint with every other pair of boat shoes (the maker rhymes with “ferry”) I’ve had is how quickly the soles wore out. It was getting to the point where I had to buy a new pair every year, and they kept getting more expensive. I’m more than happy to pay a little more for Jack Erwin’s boat shoes since they’re clearly putting the extra cost into the quality and stylish design of their footwear.
The brand started out specializing in dress shoes like oxfords and brogues, but the boat shoes are a contender for their best model.

London police have released the first pictures of the fake suicide belts worn by the London Bridge attackers. The belts, all attached to the men at the moment when they were shot dead, looked genuine, police said.
All three of the suspects wore the leather belts, the London Metropolitan police said in a statement released on Sunday.
Each belt had three disposable water bottles “covered in masking tape attached to the belt,” the statement added.
“I have not seen this tactic in the UK before where terrorists create maximum fear by strapping fake explosives to themselves,” Commander Dean Haydon, who is leading the investigation said, adding that “anyone who saw them on the night would have thought they were genuine.”
It is still difficult to speculate on the motives of the terrorists who wore these fake belts, Haydon said.
“It could be that they had plans to take the attack in to a siege situation or it might be that they saw it as protection from being shot themselves,” Haydon said.
The fake belts make the bravery of the police officers and regular citizens who took on the attackers even more remarkable, the investigators said.
“The belt would have been visible to them and if you are fighting back or aiming a shot at someone wearing the device you would clearly be very aware that you could be caught in an explosion,” he said.
The tree attackers who rammed into pedestrians at high speed on London Bridge on June 3 were earlier identified by the police as Rachid Redouane, Youssef Zaghba, and Khuram Shazad Butt.

After killing three people, injuring many more, and crashing their vehicle, the suspects abandoned the van and rushed to the nearby Borough Market restaurant area, where they began to randomly stab people with ceramic knives. Five more people died from stabbing wounds. In total, eight people were killed and 48 others were injured in the attack.

Butt, 27, presumed to be a ringleader of the group, appeared in a Channel 4 documentary called ‘The Jihadist Next Door.’ In the documentary, Pakistani-born Butt is filmed praying along with a group of other radical Muslims in the middle of London’s Regent’s Park.
Despite the documentary, he was later allowed to work at Westminster tube station.
