Vogue Williams, 32, the future sister in law of Pippa Middleton, 34, is pregnant with her first child with fiance Spencer Matthews, 28, it has been announced. When she has her baby, Pippa Middleton – who is already an aunt to her sister Kate Middleton’s children Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, will be an aunt once again. This is because Pippa is married to James Matthews, 42, who is the brother of Spencer Matthews. The news was announced in an Instagram post from Spencer Matthews earlier today, who said he felt “truly blessed”. He wrote: “So…I’m going to be a father! Couldn’t be happier to be sharing these times with the love of my life @voguewilliams. We feel truly blessed.” The Irish model and television personality is best known for appearing in Dancing With The Stars, Stepping Out and for winning 2015 show Bear Grylls: Mission Survive. Vogue is engaged to be married to Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, and will soon be sister in law to Pippa Middleton. She started her career in 2010 after appearing in Irish version of The Hills, Fade Street, a reality television show following the lives of four girls in Dublin. She played a main part in the show for the whole of season one and the first half of season two, later going on to be partnered with Christopher Page on Dancing With The Stars. Vogue, who grew up in Dublin, Ireland, has a degree in construction design and management and quantity surveying from Aberdeen. She was previously married to former Westlife member and musician Brian McFadden, whom she married in 2012 and separated from in 2015. In 2017 was meant to appear on Channel 4’s The Jump episode one, but she was forced to pull out after an injury and later replaced by Amy Willerton. She also appeared on Celebrity Mastermind in January this year, choosing Kim Kardashian as her specialist subject which caused controversy. Spencer recently spoke to the Daily Express about his relationship with Vogue Williams, after the pair’s engagement. He said: ““I feel very adult and our relationship is our own. There’s no one trying to get in the way and we’re not doing it for people’s entertainment, therefore it’s just ours.” The National Television Award’s red carpet tonight saw the greatest of the small screen rally for to celebrate the best television of 2017. It is also an opportunity for some of the nation’s most beautiful women to strut their stuff on the red carpet in stunning gowns. This year it was hard not to notice one eye-popping trend that was embraced with gusto by TV’s women. The decolletage stole the show tonight, whether it was via sultry sheer panels or low cut gowns. Mollie King looked demure in a light blue gown, which was sexed up with sheer diamond-shaped panels on the front. TV presenter and girlfriend of grime artist Stormzy Maya Jama flaunted some serious cleavage in a stunning embellished gown. Laura Whitmore embraced her masculine side with a tuxedo, baring her chest below by forgoing the traditional shirt. Soap stars Lucy Fallon and Jorgie Porter wore daringly low-cut dresses too. Reality star and model Vogue Williams appeared on the arm of her Made in Chelsea bad boy partner Spencer Matthews. She glowed in a golden gown, which was cut down to the sternum. Love Island winner Amber Davis showed off serious cleavage in a silver jumpsuit. Another star that wowed on the red carpet was This Morning’s Holly Willoughby, who wore a stunning Elizabetta Franci gown and Charlotte Olympia shoes. However, not every star can dazzle on the night. The NTA’s worst dressed included Kate Price, who looked witch-like in a black textured dress that didn’t seem to fit well over her surgically enhanced bust. Eastenders actress Lacy Turner, 29, looked bizarre in a bright dress which looked like a pair of Big Mo’s curtains. This year’s Love Island’s Amber Davies did her best 70s Cher impression with a large permed do and dark eyebrows. Prepare to see Raven at her most… well, Raven. The titular queen of Raven’s Home is in rare form in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek of Friday’s episode (Disney Channel, 8/7c), during which Nia goes to her mom for advice about her school dance — you know, in the event that she accidentally finds herself at the center of a dance circle. As Raven explains, “dance circles” weren’t big in her day. She was more of a voguing girl, and as you’ll see, she’s still got it. Unfortunately, it’s not all fun and games this week. The reason Raven is helping out with Nia’s school dance in the first place is because she’s worried about not spending enough time with her kids — resulting in her going overboard to compensate for all the time she spends at work. “One of the things that people get a kick out of about Raven Baxter’s character, is that she’s always up in everybody’s business,” Raven-Symoné tells TVLine. “As a mother, in this episode she takes on too much. She’s trying to bake cupcakes for the kids’ school dance, she’s trying to take care of her daughter, she’s trying to do this and do that for work — and it just becomes overwhelming for her. She realizes she doesn’t have to be super mom to be a good mom.” Adds co-star Anneliese van der Pol, “My favorite part about filming this episode was that you finally get to see Chelsea step up a bit as a friend, but more so as an involved parent who is quite present and well, frankly… grown. It’s a side I don’t think viewers get to see often from Chelsea and it’s something I enjoy connecting to very much. While I’m not a parent myself, what I think mothers will take away from this week’s episode is what I believe my mother would have taken away, which is that you have to decide what an ‘involved parent’ really means to you and your family.” Hit PLAY on the clip above, then drop a comment with your thoughts below.
But who is Vogue Williams?

The last year of Valentina Sampaio’s life has been something of a whirlwind. She went from doing local shows and photo shoots near her hometown, to walking in São Paulo Fashion Week, to posing for covers of national magazines like Elle Brasil and L’Officiel Brasil.
Then the 20-year-old from northeastern Brazil made fashion history as the first out transgender model on the cover of any edition of Vogue, appearing on the front of the flagship Vogue Paris’s March issue.
“Things have happened so fast, I’ve barely had time to process and think about what all this means,” Sampaio said at a cosmetics shoot in a warehouse in Rio de Janeiro last month. Sitting in her makeup chair and wearing a simple white V-neck T-shirt, as she spoke several people primped her, one brushing her hair into a ponytail, another applying a clay face mask that was the product for the shoot. “I’ve realized a dream of such size I really can’t describe it.”
Her accomplishment comes despite recent setbacks for the LGBT community in Brazil — including a spike in hate crimes and killings of LGBT people. Though the reality for most trans women in Brazil differs sharply from Sampaio’s, her ascent to fashion’s most coveted spot is seen both as a milestone and the mark of a new normal for transgender people in her industry.
“This is without a doubt a game changer and it reflects a new era,” Jorge Grimberg, a Brazilian fashion correspondent for Vogue US and Business of Fashion, told BuzzFeed News, citing how Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover sparked a “trans revolution” in the media. “The big evolution we’re seeing here is the fact that she’s been put on there to be seen as a beautiful woman, which she is. Period.”
Emmanuelle Alt, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, wrote an editorial to accompany the historic spread, equating Sampaio to other top models who have graced the magazine’s cover — except that Sampaio was assigned male at birth.
“Only when a transgender person poses on the front cover of a fashion magazine and it is no longer necessary to write an editorial on the subject will we know that the battle is won,” Alt concluded.
“The world has taken huge steps for transgender people in recent years,” Sampaio said. “My cover is another small step — an important step that shows we have the force to be Vogue cover girls.
“The fashion industry is an instrument to raise flags promoting diversity, where things are more fluid and beauty evolves. Fashion is a world that’s freer.”
Born and raised in the coastal city of Aquiraz, Sampaio said she was incredibly lucky to have a “chill” childhood, one in which her family and community always accepted her as a girl.
“People in my hometown always treated me normally. I have always been a girl and I’ve never felt any different. And that’s what I transmitted to people.”
Being a model was a dream so big, she said, that it was more of a fantasy than a goal. She posed in front of any camera she could get her hands on and spent many nights impersonating Brazil’s telenovela stars.
Once Sampaio started commuting to the largest nearby city, Fortaleza, to study fashion with hopes of being a stylist, she got involved with local fashion and event producers.
But her career didn’t come without bumps in the road. During her very first job in 2014 she says she was fired from an ad campaign. The clothing company (which she preferred not to mention by name) told her it was a conservative brand and that its clients wouldn’t take well to a transgender model.
“It was a really difficult moment. It was like I was wrong to be in that place, like I didn’t belong there. But my reaction was just to get out of that situation,” she said.
She pushed forward despite the discouraging setback at the onset of her career. And in the months following, she would leave her home state for the first time to act in an independent film shot in Rio de Janeiro and that would debut at São Paulo Fashion Week.
But Sampaio’s milestone comes at a time when Brazil is seeing a rightward shift in national politics. Within Brazil’s increasingly conservative legislative and executive branches, ramping up education about LGBT acceptance and tolerance seems unlikely. Last month, the Brazilian Ministry of Education revealed it’s removing all mentions of “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” from the national curriculum.
According to Marcelle Esteves, vice president of Rainbow Group, Rio’s oldest organization fighting for LGBT rights, many transgender people are kicked out of their family homes, are forced to live on the streets, and are unable to complete their education. Transgender women oftentimes face workplace discrimination, forcing them into sex work, which makes them vulnerable to violence.
On the one hand, Brazil celebrates its LGBT community with one of the world’s largest gay pride parades and turns out stars like Sampaio. But on the other, the country has seen a sharp spike in violence against transgender people. According to the advocacy group Trans Network, 144 trans people were killed in Brazil last year. That’s a massive increase from the 57 killings reported in 2008, the first year the network started tracking them. In Sampaio’s home state earlier this year, a cell phone video of a transgender woman being beaten and eventually killed shocked the nation.
“This needs to stop being news,” Sampaio said about the recent case so close to her own home. “Being transgender is a natural thing. There needs to be more education about accepting people for who they are in Brazil — which is such a huge and diverse country.”
“Transgender people need more opportunities,” she added. “It’s not the gender of a person that determines your character or whether you’re good at something or not. Many times transgender women find the doors are already closed for them professionally, which only marginalizes us further — but everyone has something to show.”
The 31-year-old star did indeed end up injured. She ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her knee after an accident on the slopes on Wednesday.
It has forced the presenter, who will need surgery, to be out of action for three months, as she joins a long list of stars injured on the Channel 4 show.
Speaking to Express.co.uk before her fall, Vogue said that she wasn’t worried about an imminent injury, saying: “No, because I’ve skied my whole life really, and you can get injured skiing very easily and especially with snowboarding it’s really dangerous. You just have to be extra careful. My legs are pretty sore, we’ve been up at half four every morning.
“I know, I think everybody is scared for me, but I’m not scared. I’m really really excited to do it. I’ve wanted to do the show for years and I go skiing every year anyway so it’s saving me a fortune on a ski holiday because I’m now getting paid to go skiing which is brilliant!”
Practising her ski cross, a race which sees celebrities race down a track at speeds of up to 75mph, Vogue had a fall, prompting her to book an urgent appointment with a knee surgeon in London.
Following an MRI scan, she was given a leg brace and a pair of yellow crutches by a private clinic.
Vogue admitted that she had never thrown herself down a jump before, adding: “Obviously I’m good at skiing, I’m a confident skier, but I’m a snowboarder really, so I’m just sort of picking up the skiing again, but we have our own instructor and he’s amazing. It’s everything else that I don’t know if I’m good at, because obviously I’ve never thrown myself down a bobsleigh kind of thing.”
The Irish TV personality confessed that if the show returns next year, she would be up for taking part again, but being big into sports, would potentially sign up to a golfing-related show.
“I’m very into sports. I watch a lot of golf,” said Vogue. “My family are a big golf family, so I’d watch golf and rugby, not so much football because Ireland aren’t great at football. So I watch them at rugby, they’re very good at rugby.”
Earlier this week, she announced the news that she would be pulling out of the competition on social media, tweeting: “Really disappointed to be out of The Jump. I’ve had the time of my life and if the show is back next year I’ll be in it to win it! @Channel4.”
Her spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “Unfortunately Vogue had a fall during a ski cross training session for The Jump and injured her knee, which means she will be unable to compete in the live shows.
“It’s a real shame as I know Vogue was having such a brilliant time. She is obviously gutted to be missing out on the full competition but we all knew the risks involved when she signed up and that these kind of things could happen.”
Vogue model Hanne Gaby Odiele has made a shocking confession — she is intersex.
Odiele recently made the announcement on USA Today and said she wants to be a voice for those who are intersex to prevent them from feeling like they are inferior to others.
The 29-year-old supermodel from Kortrijk, Belgium, said she wants to “break the taboo” associated with being intersex and feels like it is something she shouldn’t have to hide.

“It is very important to me in my life right now to break the taboo,” Odiele told USA Today during an exclusive interview. “At this point, in this day and age, it should be perfectly all right to talk about this.”
So, what exactly does it mean to be intersex? According to the Intersex Society of North America, the term intersex is used to describe a person who is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male.
“For example, a person might be born appearing to be female on the outside, but having mostly male-typical anatomy on the inside. Or a person may be born with genitals that seem to be in-between the usual male and female types—for example, a girl may be born with a noticeably large clitoris, or lacking a vaginal opening, or a boy may be born with a notably small penis, or with a scrotum that is divided so that it has formed more like labia. Or a person may be born with mosaic genetics, so that some of her cells have XX chromosomes and some of them have XY.”
Odiele was one of the 1.7 percent of the population who was born with intersex traits. Specifically, Hanne was born with androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS), which is when a woman has XY chromosomes, which are more typically found in men. Hanne’s doctors also found that she had internal, undescended testes, which had to be removed.
“I might develop cancer and I would not develop as a normal, female girl,” Hanne explained of the reasoning for having the testes removed, which she underwent at age 10.

At 18, Odiele had another procedure done called a vaginal reconstructive surgery. Although she said it isn’t a big deal to be intersex, she recalls the surgeries being traumatic.
“I knew at one point after the surgery I could not have kids, I was not having my period,” she explained. “I knew something was wrong with me.”
Hanne, who was discovered at a music festival in Belgium at the age of 17, will be partnering with interACT Advocates for Intersex Youth, an advocacy group for people who are intersex.

“I think her speaking out, having her voice added to the mix is going to culturally raise awareness in the mainstream,” Kimberly Zieselman, the executive director of the group, said. “[It will] help in raising awareness – and raising outrage.”
“It is an important part of my life to talk about this,” Odiele said, noting that she doesn’t feel it will affect her career. “They will see me as they have before. Nothing should change.”

Hanne’s husband, John Swiatek, said he is happy that his wife has decided to use her voice and speak out about the issue.
“I am very impressed with her decision to advocate for intersex children in order to give them an opportunity to make up their own minds about their bodies, unlike the lack of options and information Hanne and her family (and many others) were given,” he said.
