Unless, of course, he took Garrett’s advice to ‘kill the king’ and take out John Dutton in the season finale, giving him the power to do with the vast Yellowstone ranch whatever he pleases.

The same viewer also pointed out Will Patton’s appearance continues his trend of appearing as a rival for fellow Hollywood legend, Kevin Costner.

They wrapped up their theory and said: “Will Patton rules, and it’s nice to see him complete the ‘I Hate Kevin Costner’ Trinity, after No Way Out and the not-nearly-as-bad-as-everyone-says The Postman. He better be a series regular.”

Viewers can now only hope Taylor Sheridan embraces Will Patton’s potential and fully utilises the actor’s strengths in Yellowstone’s upcoming fourth season.

Yellowstone will return with season 4 in 2021 on Paramount.

Taking to Twitter to comment, one said: “Cannot be a coincidence that they’re are two players on the chase one called winston and another churchill.. #TheChase.”

“Has anyone noticed that they’ve put Winston next to Churchill?  #TheChase,” someone else wrote.

A third added: ““Winston Churchill, Teresa…. June.”

Meanwhile, another chimed: “Whoever picks the teams for the chase is a real joker and I’m sure it’s always when @jenlion is on #winstonchurchill #theresajune.”

‘Suck it up’ Piers Morgan erupts at Nicola Sturgeon over second referendum debate https://briefnews.eu/suck-it-up-piers-morgan-erupts-at-nicola-sturgeon-over-second-referendum-debate/ https://briefnews.eu/suck-it-up-piers-morgan-erupts-at-nicola-sturgeon-over-second-referendum-debate/#respond Mon, 14 Oct 2019 11:36:29 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/suck-it-up-piers-morgan-erupts-at-nicola-sturgeon-over-second-referendum-debate/

Good Morning Britain welcomed Nicola Sturgeon on to the show today to debate her ongoing fight for a second referendum on Scottish independence. The leader of the Scottish National Party last took the country to the polls in 2014, but lost out and as a result, the UK remained united.

However, in light of the Brexit result, Sturgeon is fighting once more for a referendum, believing she would get a different result this time as Scotland want to stay in the European Union.

She said to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid this morning: “Scotland voted to remain in the European Union and we’re being ignored…”

Morgan cut her off, insisting: “You’re part of the United Kingdom which voted to leave the European Union.”

Sturgeon quietly added: “Well that’s why I want independence.”

“If that’s the case that Scotland has to just accept it’s not the most positive case to put forward…”

Elsewhere in the debate, Sturgeon laid out her plans for Brexit should Scotland be independent.

Saying how she didn’t want a hard border, the SNP politician added: “We would continue to trade with the rest of the UK and the rest of the UK would trade with Scotland.”

She added: “[The choice facing Scotland is] either decide our own future or have it decided for us by people like Boris Johnson.”

ITV GMB: Kate Garraway stuns viewers as she ‘throws up’ in bucket live on air https://briefnews.eu/itv-gmb-kate-garraway-stuns-viewers-as-she-throws-up-in-bucket-live-on-air/ https://briefnews.eu/itv-gmb-kate-garraway-stuns-viewers-as-she-throws-up-in-bucket-live-on-air/#respond Fri, 06 Sep 2019 15:50:00 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/itv-gmb-kate-garraway-stuns-viewers-as-she-throws-up-in-bucket-live-on-air/

Good Morning Britain returned to ITV this morning with the final instalment of the week and it was the turn of Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway to present.

Within the first hour of the show, those watching at home saw the hosts discuss Christmas, which is only 110 days away.

Perhaps a little early, they were getting into the spirit as they sampled a Christmas turkey dinner ice-cream.

Unfortunately for Kate, it seemed she couldn’t stomach the delicate blend of tastes and was seen spitting it out into a bucket.

“Turkey gravy caramel ice cream base with a herby stuffing pine nut praline, rippled with tart cranberry sauce…” Ben explained but was cut off by the sound of Kate mumbling her dislike.

“Oh no that’s horrible, that’s horrible,” Kate said. The camera then shot to her and briefly showed her putting down the ice-cream and reaching below the desk.

Charlotte Hawkins came into view, and while she tried to compose her reaction, her face suggested otherwise as a look of disgust spread across it.

“That is absolutely disgusting I’m sorry,” Kate remarked spitting into the bucket.

“There’s brussel sprouts glitter!” Ben continued unperturbed by his co-star’s behaviour.

“I was just about to try it!” Charlotte exclaimed but Kate continued to whine: “You shouldn’t have stuffing flavoured ice-cream!”

“I don’t like that, and I eat anything!” Kate added but Ben was adamant she didn’t give it her full effort: “You just had a little nibble! You got to give it a – think Greg Wallace on MasterChef – get a proper mouthful.”

Entertainment and Showbiz Editor Richard Arnold who was sitting next to Kate came into view and interjected: “You’ve got to go all the way down and get the flavours, it works.”

“Oh no, I’m instantly regretting it,” Kate said. “You’re getting the cranberry in there! No it’s not nice is it?”

While the most of the panel agreed with Kate, Ben said: “You look at it and your expectations are it is really sweet of course, but it’s actually quite savoury. What about the brussel glitter.”

“I have to say, they look great!” Richard commented, but Charlotte wasn’t convinced: “But listen, unless you’re a fan of blitzing up your Christmas dinner and serving it cold, that’s not going to work.”

Those watching at home saw Ben continue eating it: “I have to say, I’m loving this. I’m absolutely loving it! If only I could do it through a straw!”

Taking to Twitter, many commented on the hilarious moment, but some were annoyed by the discussion of Christmas so early on into the year.

One said: “Oh come on. Really! Stick this Christmas rubbish back in a box till after Bonfire week.”

“@GMB Kate throwing up in the bucket, Charlotte looking confused, Ben just being Ben, Richard going for more. This is the GMB Christmas works do isn’t it?”

Good Morning Britain airs weekday mornings at 6am on ITV.

ITV Good Morning Britain: ‘Shut up!’ Joe Swash storms off set after Ben Shephard jibe https://briefnews.eu/itv-good-morning-britain-shut-up-joe-swash-storms-off-set-after-ben-shephard-jibe/ https://briefnews.eu/itv-good-morning-britain-shut-up-joe-swash-storms-off-set-after-ben-shephard-jibe/#respond Thu, 20 Jun 2019 21:22:25 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/itv-good-morning-britain-shut-up-joe-swash-storms-off-set-after-ben-shephard-jibe/

Joe was wearing some unusually short trousers on Good Morning Britain today as he appeared on the ITV show to deliver the latest entertainment views.

But hosts Susanna Reid and Ben couldn’t help but gently mock their co-star over his wardrobe choice.

Ben joked that it looked as though he’d come to work in his 12-year-old son’s trousers.

“What is really cute this morning is that Joe has come in with Harry’s trousers on,” Ben remarked.

Susanna joked: “And did Harry steal your socks?”

“I ordered them from a website and they arrived yesterday,” Joe explained. “I didn’t try them on till this morning. “

Ben interjected: “Did you order them from Gap Kids?”

“They’re not kids trousers, Ben,” Joe exclaimed.

“Why are they so short then?” Ben questioned before asking Joe to stand up.

As the presenter got up from his seat, Susanna observed: “They don’t get any longer!”

Joe continued: “What I done was, I thought I’d go for ultra skinny.”

Later on in the programme when Joe returned to give an entertainment report he was the target of the trio’s ridicule once more.

After watching a clip of Curtis Pritchard dispensing advice in Love Island, Joe said he’d turn to the dancer for advice because he’d “be handy”.

Ben chimed in: “Yeah he would. Like ‘don’t go to school in your son’s trousers’.”

“That’s a cheap shot that, that’s a cheap shot. Unlucky about the penalty though,” Joe retorted, referring to the weekend’s Soccer Aid match.

“Let’s go to VAR on the trousers,” Ben jested.

“Debbie! Sort these trousers out will ya!” Joe declared as Ben replied: “Robert said you’ve put them on a hot wash, Joe.”

“Shut up Ben!” he declared as he walked off towards the door, but Ben continued to read out messages that had been sent in.

“Piers says ‘Joe’s ankles must be hungry’,” Ben related as Joe shouted from the door: “Go on, carry on with the news, do you need me?”

Joe, clearly enjoying the good-natured mocking, walked away as Ben called after him: “You’ve left the door open.”

“Congratulations Joe, it’s lovely to see you,” Susanna shared.

Joe turned around to shut the door as he yelled: “See you later!”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

The Chase host Bradley Walsh tells Shaun Wallace to ‘CHEER UP’ in epic swipe https://briefnews.eu/the-chase-host-bradley-walsh-tells-shaun-wallace-to-cheer-up-in-epic-swipe/ https://briefnews.eu/the-chase-host-bradley-walsh-tells-shaun-wallace-to-cheer-up-in-epic-swipe/#respond Sun, 31 Mar 2019 18:19:21 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/the-chase-host-bradley-walsh-tells-shaun-wallace-to-cheer-up-in-epic-swipe/

The Family Chase welcomed the Lawrence-Harish family on to the ITV quiz show to try and win the big bucks.

However, the Dark Destroyer himself was standing in their way of the jackpot.

But there was one on hand to help put The Chaser, Shaun Wallace, off his game: Bradley Walsh.

The Chase host was on fine form this evening and set about cracking some hilarious jokes.

One star of the family was asked which author said that the “pen is mightier than the sword”.

Unfortunately, contestant Kerrie guessed wrong when she said Wilkie Collins.

Quizzers will be aware the phrase was coined by Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839.

However, the quote peaked Bradley’s interest as he wondered how useful a pen would really be in a battle.

He began to sketch out how a soldier would write commands down to his team and it seemed Kerrie was loving the sketch.

But Shaun didn’t appear to be loving it quite as much and remained straight-faced throughout.

Bradley yelled at The Chaser to “cheer up” but his efforts didn’t seem to work.

The Lawrence-Harish family were certainly up against it tonight and struggled to get past Shaun, who was on fine form.

Mother Dawn was sadly knocked out of the competition first after she struggled to get her winnings home.

It was better news for Kerrie, who stormed through with her £500.

Demi bagged an impressive £2,000, but Giaa sadly was caught as she battled to get her £1,500 back to the team.

Earlier in the week, fellow Chaser Mark Labbett dropped a behind-the-scenes secret which left everyone stunned.

During a celebrity special, The Beast knocked out the plucky team but decided to share some advice with them.

He said: “I think what happened to you guys was you struggled to keep focused. That’s our one edge.

“It’s because you guys get stressed from the concentration, whereas we’re trained to do this all the time.”

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.

The OA season 2: ‘I’m signed up’ Karim Washington CONFIRMED for next series? https://briefnews.eu/the-oa-season-2-im-signed-up-karim-washington-confirmed-for-next-series/ https://briefnews.eu/the-oa-season-2-im-signed-up-karim-washington-confirmed-for-next-series/#respond Sat, 23 Mar 2019 06:43:20 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/the-oa-season-2-im-signed-up-karim-washington-confirmed-for-next-series/

The OA: Part Two has seen the Netflix series transform into an enormous science fiction adventure.

The complex show explores what happens to a person once they die and what the potential complications of that are.

However, it’s never quite known which world shown is the “correct” one, and viewers are often left baffled by the show.

Now the second season has aired, will there be a third?

It seems there’s room for newcomer Karim Washington (played by Kingsley Ben Adir) to come back and the actor who stars as him is very keen.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Express’ podcast Netflixed, Kingsley revealed: “Yeah, I’m signed up.”

When pressed for details on how it would work, the actor continued: “I’ve got no idea, I don’t even know if that has anything with me being involved in season three.

“The way these studios work is they sign you up for five seasons and you end up signing these five or seven year options.

“Only very successful movie people get away without signing these things.

“But yeah, I signed up to be a part of this for a while.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have even said that. I may or may not be in it,” Kingsley giggled.

He resolved: “But yes, if Brit and Zal want me, I will be there.”

Kingsley discussed what drives his character, Karim, to search for the missing teenager right from the beginning of the series.

“Karim Washington is a private investigator who you meet at the beginning of Part II.

“He lives in San Francisco, he drives an Orange Saab and he sets off on a mission to find a missing teenager.

“He sets off on an investigation to find her; he goes off on that quest.”

Karim joins with Brit Marling’s character, Prairie Johnson, who he initially believes is called Nina.

“We kind of go off on a film-noir kind of investigation where she’s playing the lead female and I’m the lead detective.

“There are things coming in episodes seven and eight about that house that are going to blow your mind. That house on Nob Hill turns into a madness. An intriguing, gripping, madness.”

Kingsley explained: “I think he’s setting out to find a dead body but as it uncovers it’s not what it seems. I’ve had to go back and reread and I haven’t seen episodes seven and eight because I want to sit down and watch them all as a whole. Jason has been saying a lot today it is an eight hour film.”

The OA is available to stream on Netflix now.

Jose Mourinho warns his Man Utd stars they must ‘grow up’ ahead of Man City derby showdown https://briefnews.eu/jose-mourinho-warns-his-man-utd-stars-they-must-grow-up-ahead-of-man-city-derby-showdown/ https://briefnews.eu/jose-mourinho-warns-his-man-utd-stars-they-must-grow-up-ahead-of-man-city-derby-showdown/#respond Sat, 10 Nov 2018 00:14:15 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/jose-mourinho-warns-his-man-utd-stars-they-must-grow-up-ahead-of-man-city-derby-showdown/

go into Sunday’s derby against off the back of two last-gasp wins away from home, over Bournemouth and Juventus in the Champions League.

But he warned that unless they start better against free-scoring leaders they could find the mountain too much to climb even with what is becoming a customary late rally.

“In a positive way it is easy to feel we are a team that does not give up, always find a way to fight back, sometimes changing results,” said the United boss.

“But going to the other side you can ask why we always concede before the opposition. There will be a day where we cannot come back, so we have to grow up in our approach.

“It is clear the team is growing up, but we have to grow up in our compactness and start matches well.”

side could slip 12 points behind City if they are beaten in the derby but can at least draw inspiration from the fact they won the last meeting between the two sides on blue soil.

On that occasion, in April last year, a come-from-behind win for United, going two down inside the first half-hour but winning 3-2, forced City to delay their title celebrations.

“It is not special because of what happened last season but it is special because it is a Manchester derby,” he said. “If we drew it is nine points between us, if we lose it is 12, but we have to just think about the match which will be a difficult match against a difficult team. But they will be thinking the same.”

Romelu Lukaku, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, will train with the team this morning before Mourinho makes a final decision on his line-up.

City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping his side can finish a difficult week off the field for the club on a positive not on it.

But asked once again about allegations of financial impropriety exposed in a German news magazine this week, he admitted if City have transgressed rules it is right they should be punished.

“I trust the people at the club and, if there’s something wrong, we’ll be punished,” he said. “So whatever FIFA or UEFA say we were wrong we will have to accept it.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2018: Seann Walsh reveals ANGER after BBC exit ‘I’ve messed up’ https://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2018-seann-walsh-reveals-anger-after-bbc-exit-ive-messed-up/ https://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2018-seann-walsh-reveals-anger-after-bbc-exit-ive-messed-up/#respond Mon, 29 Oct 2018 21:02:24 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2018-seann-walsh-reveals-anger-after-bbc-exit-ive-messed-up/

Appearing on Two spin-off show It Takes Two, Seann told host Zoe Ball he had “messed up” and was the “most angry he had been” backstage.

Seann and Katya have been the only Strictly couple involved in controversy this year after being photographed kissing each other while in other relationships and Katya being married to Neil Jones.

Katya revealed Seann was apologetic for “messing up” and was frustrated he had left the show while “looking like a chimney sweep”.

Seann said: “The dance that she came up with was just amazing. The concept and her being a doll and all of that.

“And, to be honest with you, that’s the most angry I’ve been afterwards, isn’t it?

“Because I thought… I knew the dance and I knew I could do it.

“Like, when I did the Jive, I was walking into it going, ‘This is not gong to work’.”

Seann added: “And I started on Saturday going, ‘We’ve got this!’ and I’ve messed it up. I was really angry at myself.”

Katya chimed in: “He was so gutted. He was going around going, ‘Argh! I can’t believe it. I had it. I’m so sorry’.”

Seann faced Graeme Swann and his professional partner Oti Mabuse in the dreaded dance off.

Both couples performed their routines again, with Graeme and Oti performing their Cha Cha to Thriller by Michael Jackson.

Seann and Katya performed their Viennese Waltz to I Put A Spell On You by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins.

However, it wasn’t to be as Seann and Katya were ultimately given the boot.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Graeme and Oti, saying: “I think both couples did the best they could possibly do and it was better than their other performances. But one couple for me had timing issues; the other couple had placement issues but the dance that I liked the most and the couple that I’d like to save is Graeme and Oti.”

Darcey Bussell chose to save Graeme and Oti, saying: “This is always incredible difficult and both couples made mistakes evenly. But for me I will choose the couple that had the highest performance value and that was Graeme and Oti.”

Bruno Tonioli was the third judge to save Graeme and Oti, adding: “It’s a hard one because both of you are far from perfect, we’re not talking Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly but I enjoy you both so I have to go with the couple that made me enjoy the evening more.

“So I have to go for Graeme and Oti.”

With three votes to save Graeme and Oti, head judge Shirley Ballas didn’t have to cast her vote but said she would have saved Graeme and Oti as well.

Shirley said: “I would have kept Graeme and Oti.”

continues on Saturday on One at 7.05pm.
