Financially motivated hackers with ties to a notorious Conti cybercrime group are repurposing their resources for use against targets in Ukraine, indicating that the threat actor’s activities closely align with the Kremlin’s invasion of its neighboring country, a Google researcher reported on Wednesday.
Since April, a group researchers track as UAC-0098 has carried out a series of attacks that has targeted hotels, non-governmental organizations, and other targets in Ukraine, CERT UA has reported in the past. Some of UAC-0098’s members are former Conti members who are now using their sophisticated techniques to target Ukraine as it continues to ward off Russia’s invasion, Pierre-Marc Bureau, a researcher in Google’s Threat Analysis said.
“The attacker has recently shifted their focus to targeting Ukrainian organizations, the Ukrainian government, and European humanitarian and non-profit organizations,” Bureau wrote. “TAG assesses UAC-0098 acted as an initial access broker for various ransomware groups including Quantum and Conti, a Russian cybercrime gang known as FIN12 / WIZARD SPIDER.”

Dion has been a favourite in the long-running BBC property series since joining in 2015 to explore the homes sold at auction alongside fellow presenters Martin Roberts and Martel Maxwell. But the former professional footballer, who switched the pitch for the property market after retiring from the game, has confessed his hatred for walls.
The premise of the BBC daytime show is to allow viewers to see the inner workings of several auctioned sites, which often require refurbishments or larger developments.
Dion and the other presenters use their expert eyes to give a property a valuation and buyers decide how it can be improved.
The series has property fans gripped because it often sees some unpredictable issues arise, and viewers love to see the finished product of a revamped home.
Sometimes, experienced developers in the property business buy the homes for investments.

But most of the time, buyers are amateurs who need some guidance on how to make a profit.
Dion has been showing us around all kinds of homes in varying states, talking us through what needs to be improved and how, but the programme host himself prefers open space.
Confessing that there aren’t many walls in his own home, he said: “I don’t have anything against walls. You know what it is? I like open spaces.”
“So the family can see each other when they’re doing different things. I think I have five rooms downstairs and two sets of doors.”
Usually, the presenters are seen showing those watching at home around the rooms inside the house, discussing what changes they would make if they were the new buyer.
But this time, the home was too dangerous to enter, so Dion was forced to explain from the outside, pointing towards the different risky aspects of the building.
He said: “Look at that, if I just move that, that is all… I’m going to do it.” Using a stick, he then breaks off the render by pushing it and watches as it crumbles to the floor.
The property whizz continued: “I’d like to go in and show you around, but there are so many things that are dangerous about this property.”
Homes Under the Hammer attracts an average of 1.3 million viewers after first arriving on screens in 2003.
In his football career, Dion was capped four times for England. He went on to play for Manchester United, Coventry City, Millwall, Aston Villa, Leicester City and Celtic and Norwich City.
Many know him for his time in football, but newer fans are better familiar with his more recent presenting on Homes Under the Hammer.
One person recently realised that the ex-footballer is indeed on the property show, tweeting: “Watching homes under the hammer and thought, ‘Wow that looks like Dion Dublin’… Just realised it is. #legend @DionDublinsDube.”
Another fan recently joked: “I want the monarchy abolished and I want Dion Dublin taking a look around their castles on a new episode of Homes Under the Hammer.”
Another echoed this, tweeting: “I think it’s time to put Buckingham Palace on Homes under the hammer and get Dion Dublin to sort things out.”
Among the many fans are some famous faces, including Meryl Streep, Mark Wahlberg and Paul McCartney.
And although many shows were taken off air last year, fans were relieved when Homes Under The Hammer continued throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
But Martin told Express.co.uk in October that changes had been made, He said: “We’ve done a few days here and there and we’ve tried a new way of filming where it’s just me and a cameraman – that seems to be working.”
He also explained recently that lots of changes have been implemented since 2003, including the fact that all presenters are now experts.
Homes Under the Hammer airs weekdays on BBC One at 10am.
This has posed further challenges for the team: “Of course, it’s a lot easier if you’re face-to-face with somebody in the auction to go up to them afterwards and say, ‘Do you mind being on Homes Under the Hammer?’
“And then they’re likely to say, ‘Well, I don’t know, what’s it like?’ And then you’ve got a team from the production house, who will be able to explain.
“If it’s the auctioneer, who’s having to say, ‘Would you mind being a Home Under the Hammer? I think if they said, ‘No’, that would probably be it.”
Homes Under the Hammer airs weekdays on BBC One at 10am.

The One Show returned to BBC One this evening with Alex Jones and Amol Rajan at the helm. The two were joined by celebrity guests Julia Bradbury and Rhod Gilbert, but it was a segment from BBC reporter Owain Wyn Evans which had a number of viewers talking. As the reporter headed to Wrexham, Wales to discuss the latest lockdown and coronavirus guidelines with members of the public, several viewers were left fuming when the presenter appeared to move the face mask to below his chin, prompting one viewer to fume: “It is NOT a chin warmer!”
The moment in question came when reporter Owain spoke to a member of the public: “Do you find that other people are sticking to the rules in the same way as you are?”
“Generally speaking yes, yes they are,” the man replied, prompting The One Show presenter to continue: “And how are you finding sticking to those rules?”
“It is difficult,” the member of the public replied. “There are things that you can do, coming into town and having a quick coffee.”
“Well, I won’t let your coffee get cold, enjoy it,” Owain signed off – but it wasn’t the chat itself which caught the eye of BBC viewers.

One fan expressed their dismay on Twitter, saying: “Can not believe you sent that reporter to Wrexham which has the highest rate in North Wales, he then did what really grates on me and had his mask on his chin! It is NOT a chin warmer!!! #TheOneShow.”
A second agreed: “@theoneshow your reporter shouldn’t have been wearing his mask under his chin!”
“#theoneshow Your reporter should not wear his mask as a chin sling. Pulling a mask up and down is bad mask etiquette and can cause infection,” added a third.
While a fourth also weighed in: “Your reporter shouldn’t have had his mask underneath his chin! That’s a big no-no! #TheOneShow.”
Moments after introducing comedian Rhod Gilbert, Amol enquired about how he’s been adapting to the new way of life.
“Have you done your daily exercise today, mate?” Amol asked, prompting Rhod to reply: “Err, walking counts right?”
The One Show hosts agreed as Rhod joked he was nearing 10,000 steps before Amol asked whether the comedian had spotted any rule-breakers.
“When you went on your within-the-rules walk, did you notice people sticking to the rules broadly speaking?
“Did you see people out and about breaking the rules or are people doing what they’re meant to be doing, do you think?”
Rhod hastily shut down The One Show host as he sarcastically replied back: “You asking me to dob people in live, are you?”
Amol let out a laugh before Rhod clarified he felt people were behaving “sensibly” amid rumours restrictions are going to be tightened.
The One Show continues weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
Your Moulin Rouge-adoring mind was not playing tricks on you: That was indeed Undoing star and exec producer Nicole Kidman singing a cover of “Dream a Little Dream of Me” in the HBO limited series’ opening title sequence.
The song choice is, of course, drenched in irony given the David E. Kelley-penned thriller’s dark premise and, you know, foreboding title. But for the first half of Sunday’s premiere, Kidman’s moneyed Manhattanite Grace Fraser was living something of a fantasy life, even if director Susanne Bier’s haunting vision of New York in winter foreshadowed the nightmare to come.
The opening flash-forward sequence — in which a mysterious young boy makes a horrific discovery at his artist-mother’s Manhattan studio — also serves as something of a stark heads-up that a bunch of bad stuff is about to go down. From there we jump back two days and are thrust into Grace’s utopian existence, which includes a morning full of elegant ablutions, cheeky banter with her pediatric oncologist-husband Jonathan (Hugh Grant) and just the right amount of finger-wagging at her violin-playing, private-schooled son Henry (The Night Manager‘s Noah Jupe). And it all takes place inside an obscene Upper East Side townhouse that boasts a staircase bigger than most Manhattan apartments (mine included). It’s a nice life if you can get it!
We follow Grace to work — she’s a shrink with a rather aggressive bedside manner — before shadowing her at the day’s main event: an auction committee meeting with the local private-school moms. The tea-sipping ladies in attendance include The West Wing‘s Janel Moloney and American Horror Story‘s Lily Rabe (aka Grace’s BFF), and they’re all atwitter about a new member/party crasher by the name of Elena (played by Italian actress Matilda De Angelis). “She’s scholarship,” Moloney’s super white privileged Sally derogatorily whispers to Grace.
The women spend most of the luncheon shooting judgmental daggers at Elena. But not Grace. She is enveloping the fish out of water with welcoming energy. When Elena begins breast feeding her infant daughter Teresa right at the table in the middle of the meeting, everyone’s disapproving jaws drop except for Grace’s. “She was just feeding her child,” she later shrugs to Rabe’s Sylvia. (During the gathering we learn that Elena also has a fourth-grade son named Miguel who may or may not be the same boy we met in the earlier flash-forward.)
In a crazy and somewhat implausible coincidence, Grace and Elena belong to the same gym, a fact we learn the next day when the latter appears fully naked in front of the former in the locker room. With her lady parts hilariously and unsettlingly thrust directly in a slightly unnerved Grace’s eye line, Elena coos, “Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome… I felt like an intruder. You made me feel at home.”
Grace manages to keep her composure during the bizarre encounter, but she later confides to hubby Jonathan, “I’m all for women being comfortable with their bodies, but it was… weird.”
Oh, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
On the occasion of the aforementioned hoity-toity, super-white private-school auction/fundraiser, Grace has another run-in with her new friend/stalker in the powder room, only this time Elena is in tears for reasons that remain unclear. “Sometimes I just feel overwhelmed,” she sobs to a sympathetic Grace. “And lost. Do you ever feel that?”
Grace ignores the question and instead tosses her a rather condescending life preserver in the form of a free therapy session. Elena politely glosses over the gesture, presumably because she has read the female Dr. Phil’s unfavorable Yelp reviews, before racing off to the nearest elevator. A concerned Grace follows her and offers her the use of her town car, but Elena passes on that offer, too (on account of her living in Harlem). Elena is moved by Grace’s concern for her. We know this because right before she steps off the elevator, she moves uncomfortably close to Grace and proceeds to kiss her on the lips. Grace is shaken and stirred and possibly-maybe a little aroused.
That takes us up to the present-day timeline, with Elena’s son Miguel expressing concern to his dad (and Elena’s husband) about his mother’s whereabouts after she failed to come home last night. It’s then that we see him enter her studio and discover her lifeless body.
“It was Elena — she was found dead,” a giddy-for-gossip Sylvia informs a genuinely saddened and stunned Grace via telephone. “Her son, the poor thing, discovered her.”
Sylvia speculates that Elena’s husband is the prime suspect in the murder, but it’s Grace’s doorstep two NYPD detectives are waiting on when Grace returns home later in the day. The lead cop, played by The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story‘s Edgar Ramirez, proceeds to aggressively grill Grace about her connection to a woman she only met roughly 48 hours prior. Grace respectfully and calmly answers all of his extremely leading questions, but it’s clear based on the excessive amount of peanut butter she is violently slathering on an innocent slice of multi-grain bread that she is rattled. It’s only when they ask to speak to Jonathan that Grace begins to visibly lose her cool. First off, he’s in Cleveland at a medical conference, she informs them. Secondly, he never even met the deceased, she insists.
Picking up on Grace’s wholly justified discomfort, Ramirez’s detective has the gall to ask, “Are we upsetting you, doctor?”
Grace’s nerves go from frayed to tattered when, while attempting to reach Jonathan by phone later that night to fill him in on the day’s events, she once again gets his voicemail. When she follows the call up with a text, she hears a phone vibrate, and is horrified to discover Jonathan’s cell in his nightstand. Dude went to Cleveland for a conference and forgot his phone?!
Even more worrisome: There are no Jonathan Frasers staying at any of the local hotels (at least none with a charming British accent).
In the episode’s final moments, with Grace’s frantic mind spinning out of control, we see a flash of Elena’s disfigured body. But did the vision originate in Grace’s brain or was it an editing-related red herring? And if it was the former, was Grace remembering the horrific crime scene or imagining it?

Geoffrey said: “Well, I think there would be serious competition over this object wherever this was sold.
“And I am in no doubt that any Lalique collector would be prepared to pay between £8,000 and £10,000.”
There was a huge gasp from the people who had gathered around as well as from the guest herself who couldn’t believe what she had just heard.
The guest said: “£10,000? Oh my goodness me! And to think I was wearing it all those years and never thought about it.”

“But it of course, it’s intrinsically different because he’s at a different place.
“So I would love to see this slow down a little bit and then boom light up.
“Because that’s Tommy zero to 60 and really get the thoughts and emotions that have made him the person that we know that he is.”
Although his words seem to refer to a prequel which would see how Tommy became the man fans are familiar with in Power, it would be interesting to see where the character could go without Ghost.
Tommy has been somewhat shambolic but perhaps he’s learnt lessons from his time with Ghost, which could equip him for his new enterprises on the East Coast.
With Ghost by his side under a new identity, the pair could again be unstoppable.

Recently the cast spoke to TV Insider about the war, and Roger star Richard explained his character’s role in the battles.
He explained Roger is completely out of his element during the impending war.
Richard revealed: “Roger is a captain of Jamie’s militia, a huge role, one he’s honoured by but knows is beyond him.”
To get him ready for his role in the army, he receives some shooting lessons from his wife, Brianna.

Ink Master judge Oliver Peck has apologized for his wearing of blackface costumes, as seen in photos that recently surfaced on TMZ.
In personal photos that apparently used to live on Peck’s old MySpace page, the onetime husband of Kat Von D is seen in brown face and arm makeup, dressed as a basketball player and as a superhero whose moniker includes a racist epithet.
“I want to profusely apologize for my completely inappropriate, insensitive, and immature behavior,” Peck said in an Instagram post, shortly after the photos began circulating on social media. “I hope that I’ve matured a great deal since then and I’m deeply sorry for everyone I’ve offended.
“I was 100% wrong to depict myself this way and I take full responsibility for my immature, misguided perspective, total lapse of judgement and insensitivity,” he added. “I can only hope that… anyone I have offended can… find it in [their] hearts to accept my sincere apology.”
Peck was set to emcee the sixth annual Tattooed Gloves charity boxing tournament next month in Austin, Texas, but he was replaced after the aforementioned photos surfaced, with professional ring announcer/tattooer Dave Woodard.
TVLine has reached out to Paramount Network for comment on Peck’s photos. Ink Masters‘ 16-episode third season is already taped, and is set to premiere this Tuesday.
