Even for a show that frequently dabbles in mysterious, unfathomable phenomena, this finale is egg-stremely bizarre. Welcome back to… The Twilight Zone. “You Might Also Like” tells the story of one woman’s confusion over periodic blackouts and her neighborhood’s obsession with strange eggs that carry big promises. “The Egg will make everything OK again, and this time it will be OK forever.” Confused? A little scared? So were we. Read on for the highlights. Janet Warren (Boardwalk Empire‘s Gretchen Mol) wakes up in her pristine bedroom looking out of it. She details to her friend Mrs. Jones (Russian Doll‘s Greta Lee) that she’s been blacking out and losing chunks of time. It happens after she hears a sequence of chords, followed by a whooshing sound, then she wakes up in bed like nothing ever happened. The women then anticipate getting “their egg,” but we’re kept in the dark… for now. This feels like as good a place as any for The Narrator to swing through with his usual ominous offering: “Submitted for your approval, Mrs. Janet Warren. A woman who had seemed to have everything. Every. Thing,” he says. “But possessions have weight and we can’t carry them all at the same time. Especially when taking an unscheduled trip… into The Twilight Zone.” PART ONE: IT’S UGLY | The women wake up in Janet’s bed, and Mrs. Jones is equally confused as to what just occurred. Janet says she saw the egg in a commercial in her head and it’s ugly. She wonders if the egg has something to do with whatever’s happening to them. Her friend leaves (but not before Janet physically tries dragging her back), and Janet is left with only a small odd twig she found in her hair. PART TWO: REAL. HUMAN. BEING. | Janet calls her husband, but he’s in a meeting. She asks Megan, his secretary, why someone would want their family’s egg. Megan says that the world is not OK, and she wants her egg so that everything can be OK again. Okaaay. Janet calls someone at the fulfillment center to ask more questions, but when she’s put on hold, her neighbor screeches up the road. She has an egg, and she refuses to let Janet see it. Janet eventually asks the operator if she can cancel her family’s egg, and though the voice says they are processing her request, the line disconnects before confirming. Back inside, she walks into a nursery that has a crib and a baby monitor. She sets up the monitor in her own bedroom so she can record the freaky-deaky happenings. In the kitchen, she starts to cry, and immediately finds herself in the middle of a paper towel commercial. Cut to: waking up in her bed again. When she checks the monitor footage, she sees herself floating toward the window like some scene from Poltergeist. The weird keeps getting weirder. They start talking about how “the leg is its best piece,” and quip about being hungry. They decide to go original recipe over extra crispy, and oh my god, what am I even typing right now? They start scheming, but Janet cuts them off. “You can’t just pull us out of our lives, you know!” She demands to be taken to their PART FOUR: LIKE THE GREAT GLITTERING CITIES OF YOUR WORLD | Janet appears on a screen that is being watched by heaps of alien beings. She talks about her childhood, and reveals she recently delivered a stillborn, which was very hard on her. She talks about hating her house and their cars, and how she wishes she had different things. The supervisor says they’re afraid of how often humans change their minds. The aliens’ minds are one collective, and changing it would require the same energy needed to reverse the flow of the Mississippi River. The being admits to monitoring humans since 1945, when radio first started. They tried to learn about humans by studying TV commercials, but struggled to make any sense of it. Janet asks if she can go home, but they tell her she’ll be safe with them. She still wants to make her designated fulfillment center appointment to get her egg. “You understand your egg is a spawn designed to eradicate the human race.” Yep. She gets it, but she still craves the blissful ignorance the egg can provide her. “I just want to hold it. Even for a little while… because it’s… well, it’s mine.” She wakes up in her bed to the sounds of sirens and screaming outside. In the nursery, she talks to the crib saying, “It would be much, much better if it was you who was coming home with me today.” She gets in her car and starts driving down the street as chaos erupts around her. It’s the middle of a friggin’ apocalypse, yet Janet is still determined to get her egg. The Skyliners’ “Since I Don’t Have You” plays as Janet runs into the center. Spaceships hover above her, as plumes of smoke rise from the earth. Cue The Narrator! “Existential dread got you down? Well, Mrs. Janet Warren finally found relief, albeit, for a limited-time only. But buyer beware: All sales are final here… in the Twilight Zone.” What did you think of the finale and which Season 2 episode was your fave? Grade it and the overall season, then drop some comments below! The Twilight Zone is back… and it’s throwing some unexplained phenomena at Chris Meloni and Jenna Elfman. The Law & Order: SVU alum and Dharma & Greg star play grieving parents in the Season 2 installment “A Human Face” — debuting Thursday on CBS All Access — and in the exclusive sneak peek above, Meloni’s character Robert tries to calm down his wife Barbara, played by Elfman, after they’ve seen something that’s clearly shaken both of them to the core. He theorizes that it must be the result of a “cosmic flare,” but she thinks it’s something closer to home… and shows him a photo of their deceased daughter. “We have an alien in our basement,” Robert declares, but Barbara insists what they saw was actually their beloved daughter: “There was something there. You saw it. It was her!” He doesn’t understand what she’s saying, but she’s clear about one thing: “I’m not leaving.” All 10 Season 2 episodes of The Twilight Zone — including installments starring Emmy winner Billy Porter (Pose), Joel McHale (Community) and Morena Baccarin (Gotham) — premiere this Thursday on CBS All Access. Press PLAY above for a first look at Meloni and Elfman in “A Human Face” and tell us in the comments below: Will you be watching? Another week of television is already behind us — but it left some top-notch dialogue as a parting gift. As is our Sunday tradition, we’ve rounded up the small screen’s best zingers, bon mots and one-liners from the past seven days. This time around, our Quotes of the Week gallery includes a shocking revelation for What We Do in the Shadows‘ Guillermo, a peculiar Harry Potter shout-out on Good Girls, a manicure-related dilemma on The Amazing Race and the “return” of a Twilight Zone legend. Also featured in this week’s roundup: double doses of Animal Kingdom, Lucifer and Deadwood‘s wrap-up movie, plus sound bites from iZombie, Good Omens, Fosse/Verdon and more. Check out the attached gallery — or click here for direct access — then hit the comments and tell us if we missed any of your faves! Got 90 seconds to spare? Then you have enough time for a quick trip to The Twilight Zone. CBS All Access has released a full trailer for its upcoming revival of the sci-fi classic, which gives us our first unsettling look at the new episodes. Though the teaser (embedded above) doesn’t reveal a whole lot of plot details, it does feature a bevy of famous faces in various stages of confusion and distress (which is the default setting in this dimension). Among the TV stars spotted in the video: Silicon Valley‘s Kumail Nanjiani as a man who “changed something, erased something” in his life, The Affair‘s Sanaa Lathan as a woman who’s been thoroughly spooked and Room‘s Jacob Tremblay as a young man who is somehow caught up in the world of politics. The trailer also includes a few Easter eggs for fans of the original series. Parks and Recreation‘s Adam Scott, for example, will star in an episode titled “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet” — and at the 21-second mark in the trailer, you can spot the same gremlin that appeared in the iconic 1963 installment, “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” which starred William Shatner. Rounding out the teaser is executive producer Jordan Peele, who makes a brief appearance as the revival’s host and narrator. (And he’s wearing a suit of which Rod Serling would certainly approve.) The Twilight Zone will kick off with a two-episode premiere on Monday, April 1. New installments will then drop weekly on CBS All Access beginning Thursday, April 11. Watch the revival’s full trailer above, then hit the comments with your initial thoughts! The star played Emmett Cullen in the franchise; teaming up with Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. The five-part series grossed over $ 3.3 billion worldwide, despite poor reviews that saw the instalments range from 25% to 49% on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans adored it, though; and Lutz has predicted the cast would be up for coming back if a new story were prepared. “Oh yeah, I think if Stephenie Meyer and Melissa [Rosenberg] wrote something I think we’d all for sure come back for it,” he told ScreenRant. Asked if he had any particular ideas for his character, he said: “Well, yeah so Stephenie wrote an excerpt called ‘Emmett and the Bear’ that showed how he turned into a vampire and how Rosalie saved his life. “And I remember reading that and I was like, ‘Man, this is so cool, I wish we could be able to show this.’ “Because you’re able to show Alice’s transformation, you’re able to show Jasper’s, and Rosalie’s – but not Emmett’s. So I was always kind of like, ‘I wish we could do that.’ “And I think it would be really cool to have a spinoff of Rosalie and Emmett, that would be really fun to do.” As for whether it could be rebooted without the original stars, he admitted: “I could see it being rebooted. Probably not anytime soon because the other movies, the CGI, the budgets, everything was great. I don’t know what more would be different besides having new actors in it. “But if somewhere new technology happens, or new VR experiences and you could integrate the fans into the movie, that’d be a new experience.” Stewart was asked about the movies by Entertainment Tonight earlier this year. “On one hand, it’s 10 years ago—it’s wild, it’s surreal to think about that,” she said. “But then on the other, my memories are still so close to me, it doesn’t feel like a lifetime ago, necessarily. It’s trippy.” When asked if she’d ever return to the character of Bella, she said somewhat sarcastically: “Oh, yeah sure… Honestly, start sending scripts my way. Let’s start building this. Let’s really explore [it].” Other stars of the films – which also included New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn – Part One and Breaking Dawn – Part Two – included Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and Anna Kendrick. Catherine Hardwicke helmed the first movie, with Chris Wetz, David Slade and Bill Condon going on to take charge of the rest.RELATED STORIES
PART THREE: THE MADWOMAN IN THE OXYGEN TOWER | Janet calls Chantal, a stargazing shaman, and tells her she thinks she’s been abducted. Chantal tells her to resist gravity, which sparks an idea. She tethers herself to a chair, but when night falls, she once again floats toward the window and outside, where three aliens watch her. They look like a mix between Conehead wannabes and the martians from Mars Attacks!, and to make matters even stranger, they all speak simultaneously, without any mouth movement whatsoever.leader “supervisor.” K.
The being then says that Janet only wants something she doesn’t have. “We can see your wanting from space,” it says. Then it clicks. The being must know what the egg is; in fact, the supervisor laid all of the eggs, so that everything could be OK again. OK forever. And that’s because there won’t be any human beings around to change their minds about it. We then watch Mrs. Jones collapse off-screen as a glittery, bloody substance spreads throughout her home like a gas.

Surely we only just had a Charlie’s Angels reboot?
The Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu movies seem fresh in the memory, but the second one, Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle, actually came out 15 years ago.
This time around a female director is creating an entire new world for teh classic stories, with numerous trios of secret agents around the world.
Elizabeth Bank’s 2019 version will focus on one threesome, though, featuring these actresses.
Trade bible The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed all the details about the new movie.
The new Charlie’s Angels project has been lined up for a September 2019 release date.
As was previously rumoured, Kristen Stewart is the rather unexpected main draw. After her star-making turn in the four Twilight vampire movies and the first Snow White reboot, she distanced herself from blockbuster fodder, but appears ready to re-enter the mainstream after a string of arthouse and indie movies.
The other two Angels will be played by up and coming stars.
The first will be much more famous by the time Angels is released. Naomi Scott will play Jasmine in the April 2019 live action version of Aladdin, directed by Guy Ritchie.
Young British star Ella Balinska, however, has only previously appeared in episodes on Midsummer Murders and A Winter’s Tale.
Banks had great success with her directorial debut on Pitch Perfect 2.
The actress will also star as Boseley, Charlie’s iconic intermediary with the Angels’, as well as producing and co-writing the movie.
Banks said: “Charlie’s Angels, for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the ’70s. This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels.
“I couldn’t be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world.”
CHARLIE’S ANGELS IS OUT ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2019
Hollywood’s obsession with reviving long-gone TV series is showing no signs of slowing down.
In the last few years, dozens of beloved small-screen classics have been brought back from the dead, or at least reworked for new audiences. From Will & Grace and Prison Break, to Dynasty and One Day At a Time, it seems there’s no series safe from the resurrection craze.
Having said that, we’ve compiled a comprehensive roundup of TV’s revivals and reboots, from American Idol‘s imminent return to NBC’s still-in-development continuation of The Office. Even if you’ve scrolled through the gallery before, there are plenty of new additions (Animaniacs! Roswell!) that might pique your interest.
It should be noted, of course, that our roundup only includes TV shows that are being revived; for a list of movies getting reworked as TV series, head over to our TV Adaptations roundup. And we’re always updating these galleries as more projects get announced, so be sure to bookmark this page.

Moscow could have easily become the number one tourist spot for Twilight Saga lovers, as the Russian capital received less than seven minutes of direct sunlight for the entirety of December – a perfect treat for vampire fans.
December in Moscow is not exactly the brightest time of year anyway. Between the long nights and cloudy skies, only 18 hours of direct sunlight grace the Russian capital in an average December.
But in the last month of 2017, the veil of darkness was only lifted for a combined total of six to seven minutes. That makes it the darkest month observed in history, and has apparently led to feelings of depression among locals – except maybe the occasional creature of the night.
“According to calculations by Moscow State University’s observatory, the duration of sunshine in December was only 0.1 hours. Six to seven minutes,” Roman Vilfand, head of Russia’s Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, said on Tuesday. “Once learning about this, many people say, ‘Now I get it why I was depressed.’”
This beats the record of December 2000 by a fair margin. Back then, Moscow was graced with a generous three hours of direct sunlight.
