Meghan Markle, 36, wore a green shift dress with a tied waist belt and no sleeves to join her fiance Prince Harry, 33, in an interview with the BBC.

The pretty dress was an instant hit with fashion fans and sold out in hours according to the brand Parosh. 

During Meghan and Harry’s first joint appearance in front of the British press the brand posted on their Instagram account: “The bride-to-be wore our beautiful dress from fw 2017-18 Collection!”

They later added: “This dress is sold out but we are working hard to restock it ASAP”.

The brand has now revealed that they will be issuing the dress again, but they will name the gown after the actress, dubbing it “The Meghan”.

The dress, which costs a whopping £489 sold out in less than an hour, the founder of the Italian label Paolo Rossello revealed.

“It was totally insane, an amazing surprise,” he told the Telegraph, adding: “We were astonished to see Meghan with our bow detail dress. It was a dream.”

The 25-year-old brand which focuses on customised vintage gowns will have had an undeniable boost in popularity thanks to Meghan’s choice, if the Kate-effect is anything to go by. 

Kate Middleton’s engagement dress was also incredibly popular and sold out within hours. 

Rossello said: “It’s a Parosh iconic dress enriched with bow for this season, but suitable for any occasion. I thought Meghan looked very sophisticated matching it with high heeled shoes and white coat – it was very feminine.” 

The brand states on its website that its designs are: “A combination of rich details creating modern, sophisticated garments, enhanced by a thousand shades of vintage and ethnic tones.”

Meghan’s white coat, which she was also seen wearing on Monday, was from a Canadian brand Line The Label cost £559.56 and sold out within minutes also.

The actress accessorised with a pair of 18-karat yellow gold and opal earrings by Canadian brand Birks and priced at £850. She added a pair of £550 Aquazzura shoes.

This takes the beaming bride-to-be’s ensemble to a total price of £1598.56 – not including her whopper of an engagement ring.

What was Meghan Markle’s engagement ring like? The ring was revealed on Monday when the pair attended a photocall.

It was revealed that Meghan’s ring was designed by Prince Harry and featured a huge diamond from Botswana. 

It then had outside stones from the personal collection of Prince Harry’s mother set in a band of gold.

Botswana is special to both Harry and Meghan, as their pair spent a three week holiday there.

47 meters apparently wasn’t quite deep enough. After the shark attack thriller 47 Meters Down surprised Hollywood earlier this summer, a sequel, naturally titled 48 Meters Down, is now officially in the works with the director of the original coming back for more shark attack action. 

The Hollywood Reporter brings word about the sequel, which director Johannes Roberts is returning to direct. He’ll also co-write the second film’s screenplay with his frequent collaborator Ernest Riera, who co-wrote the first movie as well.

The sequel relocates the thrills from Mexico to Brazil and follows “a group of girls looking for adventure in the coastal metropolis of Recife. Hoping to get off the well-worn tourist trail, they hear about some hidden underwater ruins only to find that the turquoise waves of their secret Atlantis aren’t completely uninhabited.” Cue the scary music.

A U.K. company called The Fyzz Facility is financing and producing the sequel, and one of its spokespeople released this statement:

“We are so pleased by the huge success of 47 Meters Down, it totally exceeded all expectations,” said James Harris of The Fyzz Facility. “48 Meters Down will take the claustrophobia of cave diving and the thrill of shark encounters and move everything to the next level.”

A small note: I’m not sure if Harris actually means cave diving or “cage” diving in that quote since the first film starred Mandy Moore and Claire Holt as vacationing sisters who are convinced to try cage diving with sharks. Recife is on the eastern edge of Brazil and is indeed known for its underwater wreckage (as the synopsis describes), but that region doesn’t seem like much of a hotspot for cave diving. Movie magic can convince us of just about anything, but I thought that might be worth pointing out because cave diving seems like a departure from the formula established in the original. And no, I won’t tell you whether or not Moore or Holt’s characters might return because that would spoil the ending of the first movie.

47 Meters Down is one of the biggest surprise success stories in Hollywood this year. Initially set to go straight to VOD in 2016 thanks to the Weinstein Company’s Dimension Films, a company called Entertainment Studios acquired it and believed in the movie so much that they gave the $ 5.5 Million indie a wide release. And that decision paid off hugely: it made more than $ 53 million worldwide, making it the most successful indie movie in the United States this year.

M Night Shyamalan has announced that Universal Pictures will release his next film, an Unbreakable sequel titled Glass, on January 18, 2019 all over the world. Hit the jump for more info including returning cast/characters.

The filmmaker revealed the news on twitter this morning.

Okay. Here we go. Finished the new script. It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get, “Are you making a f#&@ing sequel to Unbreakable or what?” My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film. The iconic Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn. The incomparable @SamuelLJackson will return as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass. The incomparable @SamuelLJackson will return as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass. And the prodigy, @AnyaTaylorJoy will return as Casey Cooke. And the film is called GLASS… Universal Pictures will release #Glass on January 18, 2019 all over the world. How’s that for not keeping a secret!

I have to admit, Glass is a fucking awesome title for an Unbreakable sequel. I’m a huge fan of the original movie and had all but given up hope for Unbreakable 2 until earlier this year when it was revealed Shyamalan was working to make it happen. Of course, the big reveal came in (spoiler alert, highlight to reveal) the ending of Split, which revealed that both films took place in the same universe.

An Unbreakable sequel has been talked about for the last seventeen years with star Bruce Willis initially flaming the fires with the hopes for a trilogy of Unbreakable films. Touchstone Pictures originally turned down the idea for a sequel because of the film’s poor box office performance, but the movie developed a huge fandom on home video.

After the very successful release of Split, Shyamalan expressed hope for a third installment, saying, “I hope [a third Unbreakable film happens]. The answer is yes. I’m just such a wimp sometimes. I don’t know what’s going to happen when I go off in my room, a week after this film opens, to write the script. But I’m going to start writing. [I have] a really robust outline, which is pretty intricate. But now the standards for my outlines are higher. I need to know I’ve won already. I’m almost there but I’m not quite there.”

It’s also interesting to note that Universal Pictures and not Disney’s Touchtone Pictures will be distributing the sequel.

Friday the 13th may not be the dreaded remake that everyone has been so worried about in the horror film community. Although there has already been a remake in the franchise, this new film will mark the 13th movie that Jason Voorhees has been a part of, so producers have a special treat in store for you on the upcoming project.

Horror films are not always the biggest box-office draw, but they do have a devoted fan base that will run out see just about anything that gets released. That’s why it’s such a golden opportunity for producers of Friday the 13th Part XIII (Part 13) to use this as a major celebration of one of the most notoriously violent and frightening franchises of all time.

Not only will Friday the 13th be a sequel in the franchise (counting in order of succession as opposed to storylines in sync or universe), but fans will also get to see something they just barely got a glimpse of in Freddy Vs. Jason way back in 2003. As reported by horror news website Bloody Disgusting, they have confirmed the latest details about the new Friday the 13th movie to actually be an origin story that will feature young Jason Voorhees and his psychotic mother, Pamela Voorhees, as well as his father, Elias.

Before we get too heavy into the details about the new Friday the 13th, let’s just take a moment for you non-horror fans to catch up as to why this is so significant. Be warned, there are spoilers ahead from other movies in the Friday the 13th franchise. If you have not watched them yet, then only proceed with that caution in mind.

First of all, Friday the 13th was originally a horror movie that came out in 1980. Contrary to popular belief, that movie did not feature Jason Voorhees as a killer, but rather his mother, Pamela Voorhees. She did so out of revenge for the death of her adolescent son, Jason Voorhees, who was thought to have drowned in Camp Crystal Lake many years before.

At the end of Friday the 13th, Pamela Voorhees died due to beheading. But after the final scene, a dream sequence, or a dream scene, came up that showed Jason Voorhees coming out of the lake and pulling the female heroine back down with him. But the girl woke up and professed that Jason Voorhees is still out there.

Perfect! Just like that, a franchise was born and Jason Voorhees came into play in Friday the 13th Part 2 as the main killer in every film that came after it (with one exception in Part V). Not only did Jason Voorhees not die, but he actually grew up and started murdering people as a full grown man. As a matter of fact, he did not actually experience a true on-screen death (although many films alluded to his death) until Friday the 13th Part IV.

Then, in Friday the 13th Part V, a copycat killer came back and stalked the young boy hero, Tommy Jarvis. But it wasn’t until Friday the 13th Part VI (Part 6) that Jason Voorhees became indestructible as a supernatural killer. He was impervious to bullets, fire or any other kinds of weapons that they tried to kill him with. That is until Tommy Jarvis discovered that he needed to be killed by superstitious means, which meant hanging him by a chain attached to a rock at the bottom of a lake.

Other sequels in the Friday the 13th franchise used supernatural ways of bringing him back and killing him again, but they could never quite keep him dead for long.

So now in Friday the 13th Part XIII (Part 13), horror fans will finally get to see Jason Voorhees as a young boy. There have also been some news that he may have a twin brother, as Bloody Disgusting reported that there was a casting call for twins, also noting that it could be because of child labor laws in Georgia.

But if the theory pans out, it could be explained that Jason Voorhees never drowned in the lake, but rather his twin brother did in the next Friday the 13th origin story film.

Production on Friday the 13th Part XIII starts in late March and runs through May, which could mean horror fans will get to see the film as early as October this year.
