We hope you’ve steeled yourself for the next installment of Telltale’s final The Walking Dead season, because it’s almost here. The developer plans to release the second episode on September 25th for PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One players. You can buy a digital season pass for $ 20, while PS4 and Xbox One owners can pick up a season pass disc on November 6th for $ 30. You can also expect a Switch cartridge “at a later date.”

We won’t dive too far into the plot details for episode two, but it’s safe to say that uncertainty is the order of the day. Clementine’s chance at a home isn’t as strong as it seemed — and like always, the Walkers are less of a threat than other people. The TWD franchise has historically been an emotional roller coaster that rarely ends well for its characters, so you might want to have some tissues at the ready.

The first episode of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, Tangled Up in Blue, arrives tomorrow, and you can get a sneak peek at all the action and space snark in the official launch trailer. The series is a brand-new Guardians story not connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After an epic battle, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot find a powerful artifact that they all covet for their own reasons, as does a mysterious enemy who is the last of her kind.

This is the first time the Guardians are starring in their own video game. Prior to the 2014 film, they weren’t popular enough to warrant one. If the trailer’s any indication, Telltale’s episodic series will have the same light-hearted tone as the movies, featuring jokes about Thanos’ chin, elevators and creepy Kree temples.

Telltale has a long history of adapting comic book franchises like The Walking Dead and Batman into adventure games. This is the first time it’s tackling a Marvel property though, and it’ll be interesting to see its take on Guardians of the Galaxy. The studio’s already proven it can pull off comedy in video games (see Sam & Max, Tales of Monkey Island and Tales From the Borderlands), and it looks like Tangled Up in Blue is going to bring plenty of wisecracks and classic rock tomorrow.

The series’ five episodes will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac, as well as the Apple App Store and Google Play. Episode One: Tangled Up in Blue, and subsequent episodes, will cost $ 4.99, or you can buy a special Season Pass disc for $ 29.99 on May 2nd. The disc includes the first episode and will grant access to the others via online updates as they’re released.

The first episode of Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy game is still a few weeks away, but the new debut trailer provides a good idea of what to expect. The trailer mostly sets the tone, rather than explicitly laying out the story; you can see the heroes during an awkward elevator ride and there is, of course, a Walkman. But it also provides a glimpse at the series’s villain, with a version of the death-obsessed Thanos that looks like a cross between the live-action films and comic books.

The series’s debut is called “Tangled Up in Blue,” and is the first of five planned episodes to release throughout the year. (If you’ve never played a Telltale game before, they’re sort of like interactive dramas spread across multiple episodes, and have spanned series like The Walking Dead and Batman.) Episode one is launching on April 18th, and will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac, with mobile versions available at a later date.

Of course, this is far from the only upcoming adventure for the guardians. The second film hits theaters on May 5th, while reports suggest that Deus Ex: Human Revolution developer Eidos Montreal is also working on a game based on the franchise.

Telltale Games announced it’s working with Marvel on a Guardians of the Galaxy game last year. Now, we’re getting a sneak peek at the episodic adventure, along with details about its launch date and voice cast.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will premiere this spring on console, PC and mobile devices. It’ll also be available at retail as a special season pass disc. There’s no word yet on what the episodes or season pass will cost, but other Telltale series like The Walking Dead and Batman are typically between $ 25-30.

The story revolves around an artifact of unspeakable power the Guardians all desire for their own reasons, as does the series’ unnamed female villain. So, it’s basically like the plot of the first movie, although it seems likely the game won’t tie-in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actors who portrayed the Guardians on the big screen won’t be reprising their roles. Instead, the series will feature the voice talents of Friday Night Lights actor Scott Porter (Star-Lord), The Young and the Restless’ Emily O’Brien (Gamora), veteran voice actor Nolan North (Rocket), Watch Dogs’ Brandon Paul Eells (Drax) and The Wolf Among Us’ Adam Harrington (Groot).

Telltale will offer more details about the game during a PAX East panel in Boston on March 10th. One week later, fans at SXSW can play an early version of the first episode during a premiere event at the Paramount Theater where audience members will be able to control the game’s story from their seats using their mobile devices.

Back in December, Telltale released Episodes 1 and 2 of the highly anticipated The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It’s been over a month since the first two episodes were released, and Telltale still hasn’t officially given a release date for Episode 3, and fans of the series are growing inpatient.

Earlier this week, Job Stauffer, who works at Telltale Games, gave an update on when Episode 3 will be released, saying that it won’t be released this month, and that they’re targeting a February release date.

“Won’t be this month, should let folks down easy on that – but we hope to have news in February. Big episode! Worth the wait.”

Episode 2 of The Walking Dead ended with a huge cliffhanger, which is partially why fans of the game are annoyed that we don’t have an official release date for Episode 3 yet. Furthermore, Episode 2 was shorter than the standard episodes, so fans feel like they didn’t exactly get to play through two full episodes.

While speaking about Episode 3, Stauffer said that Clementine, who has taken on more of a supporting role in the game’s new season, has a scene that literally broke him.

“Working in a lot of fan feedback for episode 3, and Clem has an episode 3 scene that literally broke me.”

In the new season, you spend the majority of your time playing as Javier Garcia, who is a brand new character in the series that was introduced in Episode 1. He’s a former baseball player who got kicked out of the pros because of his gambling habits. He also has a love/hate relationship with his family, and his brother David.

It’s unclear how many years have passed between Season 2 and Season 3, but it’s quite clear that Clementine isn’t the sweet young girl that she was back in Season 1. In the new season, she’s more of a loner, who doesn’t like to get too close to people.

Depending on how you chose to end Season 2, Season 3 of The Walking Dead starts off with Clementine alongside either Kenny or Jane. But, neither character is in the game for long, because they both get killed off relatively quickly. The loss of Kenny and Jane, and, of course Lee, is the reason why Clem is so standoffish in the new season.

One of the big questions that’s presented in Season 3 is what happened to AJ? He’s shown with Clementine in the beginning of the new season in flashbacks, but he isn’t with her in present time. The common belief is that the villain group, The New Frontier, has custody of him.

As of right now, we don’t have a release date for Episode 3, nor do we have a trailer for it. But, at least we do know that it’s likely going to come out in February.

So far, Episodes 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead are getting rave reviews. There are some who are annoyed because they’re playing as Javier instead of Clementine for the majority of the first two episodes. But, we pretty much knew that’d be the case before the first two episodes were released.

If you haven’t played the first two episodes of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, they’re available to be purchased individually, or as part of the season pass, which will cost around $ 25. The remaining episodes of the season will be released over the next couple of months. As of right now, it looks like there will only be five episodes in this season, although they could add more later. Usually, Telltale seasons have between four and six episodes, with the exception of The Walking Dead: Michonne, which was only three episodes long.
