Titular Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar is weighing on the scandal enveloping her former boss Joss Whedon. In the wake of Charisma Carpenter’s stunning allegations that she suffered “toxic” and “hostile” abuse under the Buffyverse auteur, Gellar released her own statement. “While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am more focused on raising my family and surviving a pandemic currently, so I will not be making any further statements at this time. But I stand with all survivors of abuse and am proud of them for speaking out.” TVLine has reached out to reps for both Whedon and 20th Television (the studio behind Buffy and Angel) for comment. Amber Benson, who played Tara on Buffy, echoed Carpenter’s general sentiment, saying on Twitter, “Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top. @AllCharisma is speaking truth and I support her 100%. There was a lot of damage done during that time and many of us are still processing it twenty plus years later.”

There’s something wrong with Roger Federer.
The 36-year-old was on top of the tennis world just eight months ago, when he broke down into tears while lifting the 2018 Australian Open trophy. He had won the first major of the new year, his 20th Grand Slam title in total, and there was reason to believe there could be more in store for the rest of the year.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

Although it’s only July, those featured on the blog are already deep into their summertime celebrations — complete with private jets, luxury cars, and beach vacations.
Take a look at what the “Rich Kids” are up to during the summer so far.

WARNING SPOILERS FOR DEADPOOL 2 AHEAD
Deadpool 2 revealed Josh Brolin as a time-travelling cyborg from the future, bent on preventing the murder of his family.
Cable is heavily armed, but also carries around a damaged teddy bear, which he says is covered in his daughter’s blood.
Later in the film it’s revealed that the boy he’s come back to try and kill is Fire Fist, who grows up to kill his family.
In the end Deadpool managed to get the kid to change his ways, so presumably Cable’s family is now alive in the future.
But just who is his daughter? Well in the comics Cable’s real name is Nathan Summers and his adopted daughter is called Hope.
She was seen as a miracle during a period of no mutant births, which interestingly ties in with the plot of Logan – a film set in 2029.
A group called the Purifiers found out about Hope and wanted her dead, so Cable went into exile through time to raise and train her.
HOW DOES DEADPOOL 2 FIT INTO THE CRAZY X-MEN MOVIE TIMELINE?
Meanwhile the two were chased by Bishop, another time traveller from a post-apocalyptic future, who was last seen on screen in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Once Hope grew up, she and Cable returned to the present day to assist the X-Men.
While she didn’t appear in Deadpool 2, Cable is living in the present for now as a member of X-Force.
But seeing as she survived in the future thanks to Fire Fist being rehabilitated in the past, it would make sense for a grown-up version of Hope to travel back in time to be reunited with her father.
Hope’s mutant gift is to use the powers of any mutant who is in her vicinity, so perhaps she could harness that of Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead – or even Deadpool himself?
X-Force is due in cinemas next year, while Deadpool 3 is also in the pipeline.
Ryan Reynolds likes tease and taunt his fans as much as his rivals.
Numerous posts poking fun at the likes of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man have been mixed with tantalising clues and obscure hints for the upcoming Deadpool sequel.
Eagle-eyed fans have spotted that a possible Easter Egg from the first Deadpool 2 teaser trailer could link to a major clue in the recent first look at Josh Brolin as Cable.
Little is still known about the next Fox/Marvel superhero outing but many are hoping that these two facts point towards the first appearance on the big screen of Hope Summers.
As well as being Cable’s daughter, Hope is spectacularly powerful in her own right.
The mutant is Omega-level and teh vessel of teh Phoenix Force, which allows her to tarnsform matter. She can also mimic the full powers of any mutant near enough to her.
Strangely, for such a phenominally impressive warrior, the major clue about her return is a fluffy teddy bear in the first official image of Cable.
In the comicbooks Hope is from an alternate timeline where the mutant population has been decimated. Her birth is the catalyst for new mutants.
The cyborg Cable travels in time to save her. He finds her as a baby and acts as a father figure to her throughout the storylines.
Hence the teddy bear?
The second clue is rather more blatant.
The recent teaser promo for Deadpool 2 included a cryptic shot of a phone booth with the word ‘Hope’ scrawled on it.
Easily overlooked in all the initial excitement, more and more attention has returned to it.
With the latest reveal of Cabel and his teddy bear accessory hanging incongrously among all his waepons, it looks like the Deadpool 2 makes are trying to tell fans something.
Of course, the link between sneaky Easter Eggs and actual clues and teasers is rather fine in superhero films these days. Reynolds and his gang are sure to have more fun dragging out the suspense for a while yet.
DEADPOOL 2 WILL BE RELEASED IN JUNE 2018

However, now you can make like Hollywood millionaires such as Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber for only £6.99.
