Chuka Umunna left the Labour Party to join Change UK – The Independent Group for Change, before later stepping down to join the Liberal Democrats after the European elections. During a Brexit interview on Good Morning Britain, host Piers Morgan took a swipe at the Streatham MP for switching so quickly between parties. After being asked what he thought was going to happen in the political sphere, ahead of an attempt by rebel MPs try to take control of Parliament today, Mr Umunna said: “I think there will be an election. “I don’t see how you can govern with a majority of one if there is still a majority of one, so I think it is inevitable”. But, the ITV host delivered a quick swipe at the MP. He said: “And which party will you be representing?” Smirking, the Lib Dem MP replied: “My party, the Liberal Democrats, of course.” The pair both burst out laughing as the presenter quipped there would only be “one party left” for Mr Umunna to join – hinting at the Tories. READ MORE: Johnson’s secret Brexit showdown with Rebel Alliance THIS MORNING Ms Soubry told the BBC last month: “Chuka going to the Lib Dems, these are very heavy blows so soon. I am sorry, but you stick at something a bit longer than a couple of months. Especially when you have got had the courage to leave your own political party. “When you have worked with somebody from a different political party, and you thought, this person has got so much to offer. “I really believed this person is the future for our country. Quite a great double act I thought actually. “I believed in him. He was a major reason I left my political party. I believed in this new project. It was like, we had a big disappointment and he was gone. That was not the person I thought he was.” Some MPs who moved to Change UK also left after the poor European election results earlier this year. It comes as Boris Johnson delivered a speech on the steps of 10 Downing Street on Monday vowing to deliver Brexit by the end of October “come what may”. But, there have been suggestions Mr Johnson could try to call a snap election if MPs vote on Tuesday to block a no deal exit from the EU. As is usual for Saturdays, the main Love Island show is replaced by bits from the week that viewers didn’t get the chance to see. But the incident featuring Molly-Mae had viewers laughing so much, they wondered why it didn’t make the main ITV2 show. Molly-Mae was seen walking down the steps outside of the villa alongside Amber Gill. However, as she trotted down in her heels holding a glass of wine, the influencer appeared to lose her footing as her ankle gave way underneath her and sent her flying down the small set of steps. Molly-Mae’s beau Tommy Fury ran to rescue to help get her back on her feet as he assured her: “You’re good, you’re good.” Thankfully, it looked as though Molly-Mae was fine after her fall as she laughed it off but Maura Higgins was more concerned about something else. “I can’t believe you wasted that wine,” she jested. Those watching at home were tickled by Molly-Mae’s accident and took to Twitter to comment. “RIP molly the poor stairs got her down #Loveisland,” one joked. A second questioned: “Looool Molly mae falling off the the stairs why don’t they show that?? #loveisland.” READ MORE: Love Island 2019: Islanders ‘kept inside’ by bosses over ‘dangerous’ conditions “MOLLY TUMBLING DOWN THE BLEEDIN STAIRS IM DYING #loveisland,” a third added. Molly-Mae delighted fans further as the episode also saw her give a tutorial on how to get her signature hairstyle: a bun. Many were elated that she’d decided to share her signature look as she gave a demo from the Beach Hut. “I didn’t know I needed this Molly-Mae hair bun tutorial #LoveIsland,” one admitted. Another commented: “Molly Mae doing her bun tutorial on love island unseen bits is what I’ve been waiting for #loveisland.” “No way is molly mae doing a bun tutorial on unseen bit #LoveIsland #loveislandunseenbits,” a third stated. The BBC News host quipped about the production gaffe being a “pregnant pause” as both he and business reporter Vishala Sri-Pathma giggled at the blunder.
BBC’s Afternoon Live had previously been reporting on pregnancy discrimination, but after the report had finished the graphic remained in place.
McCoy moved to introduce an update on the stock markets but was met by the image once again. The BBC News host said: “Time for a quick look at the markets…”
As the graphic behind the two journalists didn’t change, he added: “A bit of a pause… a rather pregnant pause… see what I did there?”
Sri-Pathma eventually resumed the report as McCoy declared “they’re not coming”.
The BBC News host is often left with production gaffes, only last week he burst out laughing after the camera panned to him instead of co-presenter Ben Bland, once again during a business update.
McCoy has become well-known for poking fun at stories and adding his own picturesque touches to traditional news reporting.
But rather than amusing the audience Mr McCoy was himself reduced to laughter after a camera blunder broke the routine of the BBC News business update.
And Mr McCoy jokingly reprehended a cameraman after he panned away from BBC News presenter Ben Bland as he prepared to read the business headlines.
Mr McCoy said: “Sir you don’t want me, you want him.”

Tom Brady will start in the AFC Championship game despite what is sounding more and more like a gruesome injury he suffered to his hand during a collission with a teammate in practice.
Brady and the New England Patriots have been mysteriously quiet about the extend of Brady’s injury, but some new reports on the morning of the AFC title game paint an ugly picture.
According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, Brady needed “more than 10 stitches” on the inside part of his right hand, near the thumb. Reiss was also told that it was a “bloody scene.”
“[Brady] required more than 10 stitches after sustaining a cut on the inside part of his right throwing hand near the thumb Wednesday, per source,” Reiss wrote on Twitter. “Those at practice described a bloody scene.”
Albert Breer of theMMQB reports that Brady also sprained a ligament in his thumb on his throwing hand. He did also note that Brady “threw well” in practice on Friday.
Still, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network called the injury a “legitimate issue,” and that the injury accord as a result of a collission with running back Rex Burkhead’s helmet leading to a lot of blood.
“Tom Brady’s throwing hand is not something to sort of shrug off or laugh about. It’s a legitimate issue,” Rapoport said, later adding: “There was a lot of blood. One person described it to me as ‘gushing blood.'”
One big question that remains is whether or not Brady will wear a glove on his throwing hand against the Jacksonville Jaguars, something he prefers not to do. One source told Adam Schefter of ESPN that Brady “probably” will wear a glove to protect the stitches.
“Tom Brady, in the words of one source, ‘probably will wear the glove (Sunday) just to protect the stitches,’ though the QB has not indicated whether he has decided to wear it,” Schefter wrote on Twitter.

A four-month-old infant in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia had to undergo emergency surgery after being attacked and bitten on the face by a racoon inside a home. She required 65 stitches.
“She was lying on the floor across the room with blood all over her face, screaming and crying,” Ashley Rodgers, the baby’s mother, told WTXF-TV. “Her whole face was red.”
Rodgers said she made the horrifying discovery while taking her six-year-old to the bathroom, and heard a sound coming from her daughter’s bedroom. She said the raccoon had dragged her baby from her bed and across the room in the first floor apartment in Northern Philadelphia.
Police and emergency responders were called shortly before 11pm Wednesday and found the child with “cuts and scratches to her face.”
The baby was rushed to hospital where she received 65 stitches and a rabies shot. Doctors said the baby’s recovery could take up to a year. Fortunately, her eyesight wasn’t affected.

Tenants in the building had complained previously about a raccoon infestation. Rodgers, who had only just moved into the complex, told KYW she had alerted her landlord after spotting a raccoon on the day of the attack.
Neighbor Donna Wilson said raccoons are nothing new on the block, which has vacant buildings and empty lots.
“If you have holes outside or around your walls, I guess they can get in,” Wilson told WPVI.
A spokesperson for Philadelphia’s Licenses and Inspections Department told KYW the landlord appeared to not have a rental license.
“It needs to be shut down. Everybody needs to leave out of there,” Rodgers said. She intends to seek legal action following the attack.
“It is his (the landlord’s) responsibility. There’s no reason an animal should have gotten into the house with minors,” Samuel Black, the girl’s father, told KYW.
“It’s just ridiculous,” Black added. “My daughter could have lost her life.”
Animal control officers have set a trap for the raccoon, hoping to prevent attacks from happening again.

The Woolpack chef (played by Mark Charnock) attended a bake sale to raise money for young Leo and was showing off his array of cakes when he made a very naughty slip-up.
Standing behind a table of tasty treats, Marlon began talking to headteacher Jessie Grant and head of the Parent Teacher Association, Daphne, who he dubbed “Hotten’s answer to Mary Berry”.
Using another cheeky Great British Bake Off reference, he said: ”There will be no soggy bottoms here I can assure you.”
Opening his arms wide to showcase his delights, the cook added: “Well, feast your eyes on my goolies!”
His saucy remark drew gasps from the room and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) immediately ran over to intervene.
A red-faced Marlon exclaimed: ”I meant goodies! Goodies! That came out wrong!”
Fans watching the ITV soap were in fits of giggles at Marlon’s hilarious slip-of-the-tongue with many taking to Twitter to comment on the amusing scene.
One person wrote: “Feast your eyes on my goolies” Marlon you legend #emmerdale.”
“This was so typical Marlon, great fun to watch can always have a laugh with Marlon @markcharnock,” said another fan.
A third was in hysterics at the comment: “Funniest line ever, even my son laughed at it lol.”
Marlon’s innuendo hasn’t been the only one featured in Emmerdale this week as just yesterday, Rhona baked odd-looking snake cakes which resembled a penis.
After the Overs and Groups had performed, host Dermot O’Leary asked the judges Sharon, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell’s replacement Alesha Dixon who they thought was the best of the night.
But as Sharon gave her opinion on boyband Rak-su, she got completely muddled up and called them the name of a Japanese curry – Katsu.
Responding to Dermot’s question, the 65-year-old said: “Where do you begin because there’s so much talent out there. It’s hard to pick between Kevin, Matt, Katsu…”
Nicole immediately corrected the wife of Ozzy Osbourne and replied: “That’s a dish.”
However, Sharon still hadn’t got the hang of the name and said: “No it’s Ratsu,” to which Nicole was left to rectify her again and repeatedly said: “It’s Rak-Su.”
Sharon’s blunder certainly didn’t go unnoticed by viewers as many rushed to Twitter to comment on the mistake.
One fan found the gaffe highly amusing as they wrote: “Sharon said KATsu. I’M DEAD. Then she said RATsu. It’s Raksu shazza, oh I love Sharon Osbourne.”
“Hahahaha katsu love Sharon #XFactor,” commented another.
A third fan was in tears at the hilarious mistake as they wrote: “DID SHARON JUST CALL THEM KATSU I’M CRYING #xfactor.”
And one fan found themselves wanting the yummy meal as they said: “Sharon calling Rak-Su “Katsu” was the highlight of tonight. (Side-note; got me craving Wagamama) #XFactor.”
During last night’s episode, wildcard act Talia Dean became the second act to be voted out of the singing contest following Spencer Sutherland.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed the hilarious blunder after Stacey (played by Lacey Turner) and Martin Fowler (James Bye) hopped on a London Underground train to get out of Walford.
And it soon became the Fowler express as Michelle (Jenna Russell) also got on and noticed her brother and sister-in-law sitting down.
The trio appeared in great spirits as they talked to each other, but many viewers couldn’t help but notice that the train didn’t seem to have gone anywhere.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “The #Eastenders Tube is hilarious. It never moves.”
Another commented: “I’m sorry but I’ve never know a Tube train to stay stationary for that long! #EastEnders besides it doesn’t look likes it moved anywhere!”
While one person noticed another blunder as the green District Line train that was used in the scene is no longer in service after being replaced earlier this year.
They wrote: “#EastEnders are using District line Tube stock which have been long scrapped, just like their orange seat buses.”
Viewers also recognised that many of the BBC one soap characters have made a frequent number of appearances on the Tube lately and earlier on in the week, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) was seen leaving on one.
One person asked: “How come the Tube is getting a weekly appearance on eastenders all of a sudden?”
“Why is it all of a sudden in every episode of #eastenders we are seeing people on the Tube !?!?!? @bbceastenders,” questioned another.
EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 8.00pm.
BuzzFeed News reports, after parts of the story were originally broken by The Australian, that Perrett, a parliamentarian who represents Moreton, Queensland, was watching the show on Sunday night while also eating sushi. A morsel of rice went down the wrong tube after he began sushi-ing and laughing simultaneously; Perrett fell, and was knocked unconscious, resulting in a black eye and stitches. (He seems to have been behind; it turns out he wasn’t watching Sunday’s incisively perfect episode, in which Selina Meyer meddles in an election between two corrupt potential leaders in Georgia in order to seal funding for her running joke of a Presidential Library.) “I started choking and I kind of stumbled forward and knocked my head on the corner of the kitchen cabinet,” Perrett told BuzzFeed News.
BuzzFeed’s Mark Di Stefano tweeted the original report (from the Australian), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus responded with an understandable bit of incredulity last night:
Perrett clarified:
If you’ve seen that episode, you may recall a scene where oaf Congressman Jonah Ryan is interviewed by Dan Egan on CBS news, with Dan ceaselessly hinting at Ryan faking still being on chemo for testicular cancer. “I was laughing so hard when Jonah then gets interviewed by Dan…And then [Dan] delivers the first shaving pun, like, ‘you recently had a close shave with cancer,’” the MP recapped to BuzzFeed News, pinpointing the exact joke that’s the culprit. “My wife walked in to find me knocked unconscious on the ground, with blood everywhere… I must have been out for only a few seconds because when I came to again, I was still laughing at Jonah.”
Veep showrunner David Mandel responded:
I would like to make an official statement on behalf of Veep and the United States. We would like to apologise to Australia, our key ally in the Asia-Pacific region, for writing something that would cause bodily harm to your people…It really does seems like something in the show, so I guess I’ll have to wait a year now to use it.
