It’s Monday. We’re all tired. Trust us, we understand. Don’t let that ruin your winning streak in Heardle. Use our clues so you can celebrate a “Victory Monday” on Heardle.
Remember, if you need some help, we’ve listed some hints below to push you in the right direction.
If you missed yesterday’s song of the day, then you can find the answer here. Make sure to come back every day for hints and help to solve the daily Heardle.
Heardle is like Wordle or Framed, but with a musical twist. Players listen to a clip from a popular song and try to guess the artist and song title. With every incorrect or skipped answer, players unlock a few more seconds of the song. The maximum number of guesses is six, which means users will hear 16 seconds of the song at most.
The goal is to name the song in as few guesses as possible.

Do you give up and need some assistance? Don’t worry about it — we’re here to help! If you want to see the answer to today’s Heardle, scroll below.

The stories in Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries reboot are new. The sense of delicious dread you feel when you hear the unsettling intro music… is not.
That’s part of the reason why the reboot of the 1980s-’90s nonfiction series, which makes its debut Wednesday on the streaming service, feels so much of a piece with its predecessor. After all, executive producer/co-creator Terry Dunn Meurer tells TVLine, “the premise of the show has always been: Someone somewhere knows the truth, and perhaps you can help solve a mystery. And that has not changed with the new iteration on Netflix. That’s always been the mission.”
But that’s not to say that the new episodes are a carbon copy of the show that Meurer, along with co-creator John Cosgrove and executive producer Robert Wise, put in motion decades ago. (All are involved in the reboot, as is Stranger Things‘ Shawn Levy.)
“When we initially created the series, we were a little concerned that people weren’t going to want to watch stories that weren’t solved,” Meurer recalls. “But then when we started solving cases through the broadcast, we were very gratified by that, and realized that we could provide closure for the families and for law enforcement, and for the viewers, as well.”
Six new Unsolved Mysteries premiere Wednesday; another six will become available in the future. Here are a few bits of intel — in Meurer’s own words — you might want to put in your mental casefile before watching the new episodes.
PROVEN TRACK RECORD | “The original series profiled 1,300 cases over roughly 230 episodes,” the EP says. “Of those, 260 have been solved.”
FASTER FEEDBACK | “It’s much easier now. We have social media, so we can update very quickly on social media. Back in the day, other than local news coverage or network news coverage, you couldn’t get that news out as quickly as you can now. So we’re excited about launching in this new technology. It just gives us such an advantage over when we were producing the original shows.”
CASTING A GLOBAL NET | “One of the reasons we’re excited to be premiering on Netflix is because of the international reach. The original episodes did catch wanted fugitives in different countries in Africa, American Samoa. There were many, many cases that were solved, and that reach is so important,” she says. One episode, “House of Horrors,” details deaths and a disappearance that took place in France. “We’re hoping that if he is alive,” Meurer says of the suspected murderer, “that the reach of this show, the reach of the Netflix audience will track him down.”
A ‘CLEARING HOUSE’ FOR CLUES | “We have a team of people who are going through every single tip and vetting those tips,” she says. “It’s the more specific leads that come in, where somebody actually has a name and says “I have information” or “I witnessed something,” those are the tips that we get to law enforcement right away or to whomever we’re sending those tips to. We are a clearing house for those tips.”
NOT JUST TRUE CRIME | “We think of Unsolved Mysteries as a mystery show, not a true crime show, because we do have so many different categories,” Meurer says. “We have the UFOs and the ghosts and the treasure stories in addition to the wanteds and the missings and the murders. Unexplained death is one of our categories…Those are cases where there’s multiple theories. Was it suicide? Was it an accident? Was it murder? Was it foul play?”
A SPOOKY SAMPLING | The first round of episodes includes the more-than-a-decade-old unexplained death of a Maryland man named Rey Rivera, a disappearance in Mississippi that may be an 11-year-old hate crime and a UFO sighting in Massachusetts.
NO NARRATOR THIS TIME AROUND | Meurer calls the choice to film the episodes without a narrator — Robert Stack, who was the voice of the original show for most of its run, died in 2003 — “a really hard decision… The final decision was that it’s very difficult to fill Robert Stack’s shoes, and his trench coat. He’s just such an iconic voice. He’s such a signature of the show. We also wanted the actual participants in the stories, the family members and law enforcement [officers], to be more involved in telling the stories.”
THAT CHILL-INDUCING THEME SONG | “Everyone comments about the music!” Meurer says, laughing. “That’s probably the most memorable element of the entire series.”

Madonna took to the stage last night for a performance that received mixed reviews, with some slamming the superstar not only for her “flat” vocals but also her bizarre fashion choices. The outfit she donned was compared to HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, which is airing its much-anticipated finale tonight. Some viewers said the pop icon would belong to House Greyjoy had she appeared in the HBO fantasy drama in the glittering outfit.
One Twitter user said: “Wait, is Madonna coming to steal the Iron Throne… #GameofThrones #Eurovision.”
Someone else penned: “Anyone else getting Game of Thrones vibes from Madonna’s performance with all fire?”
Another quipped: “I’m really enjoying #Madonna cosplaying Game of Thrones at #Eurovision.”
“From the outfit definitely Madonna is in House Greyjoy #GameofThrones #Eurovision”, said a fourth.

Another viewer suggested the superstar singer resembled the “lovechild of Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy” in the striking get-up.
“Why does Madonna look like the lovechild of Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy??? #Eurovision #ForTheThrone #GameOfThrones”, he said.
The songstress was also compared to the Sparrows, which is a religious cult-like movement on the popular HBO show.
Earlier in the night she appeared in a pre-recorded message, warning the public “not underestimate the power of music to bring people together”.
She said: “You’re all winners, no matter what happens.
“The reason I mean that is because to get here, where you are right now, is not easy. Right?
“First you had a dream and then you had to believe in that dream, and you had to make many sacrifices.
“That makes you a winner no matter what.
“Another really obvious statement is, look at all the delegates behind us, everyone here is from all over the world. So many countries that I have been privileged not just to visit but to experience.
“And the one thing that brings me to those countries, and the thing that brings all these people here tonight, is music. So let’s not underestimate the power of music to bring people together. That’s the most important thing. Music makes the people come together.”
The ‘Like a Virgin’ artist also attracted some controversy for choosing to pull off a political stunt despite it being against the spirit of the event.
During the pop icon’s performance, two of her dancers were seen with Israeli and Palestinian flags on their backs.
The European Broadcast Union (EBU), who organise Eurovision, confirmed the stunt was “not part of the rehearsals”.
In a statement reported by The Sun, the EBU said: “In the live broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, two of Madonna’s dancers briefly displayed the Israeli and Palestinian flags on the back of their outfits
“This element of the performance was not part of the rehearsals which had been cleared with the EBU and the host broadcaster, KAN.
“The Eurovision Song Contest is a non-political event and Madonna had been made aware of this.”
Despite much controversy, Madonna performed at the Eurovision Song Contest’s Grand Final in Tel Aviv, Israel this evening.
The 60-year-old took to the stage wearing a black cape and an eye patch to perform one of her most iconic hits, Like A Prayer, and her latest single Future with Quavo.
Ahead of her performance, it was revealed her rehearsals had been closed and no one knew what to expect when she took to the stage.
And, it is fair to say that many of those watching were not impressed with Madonna’s Song Contest routine and took to Twitter to slam her performance.
“OMG! Madonna is BUTCHERING her own song! How did this happen? #Eurovision,” one viewer tweeted.
Another added: “Madremia Madonna, what a embarrassment.”
A third asked: “Is this the funeral of Madonna’s career? #Eurovision.”
“Oh dear God Madonna the voice is gone. Ouch. #Eurovision,” someone else shared.
Another went on to score her performance Eurovision-style, tweeting: “Zero points to Madonna. #ESC2019 #eurovision.”
However, not everyone was unimpressed with one fan sharing: “Ok. That was pretty spectacularly staged. I would’ve loved her to do Future first, but Like A Prayer was tremendous.
“She’s got a lower register now but was very nervous. Even though she’s Madonna. Would’ve preferred Medellín but hey ho. She’s my queen. Love love love. #eurovision.”
Before her performance, Madonna told tonight’s hopefuls: “You are all winners, I say that because to get here, you had to have a dream and you had to believe in that dream and make a lot of sacrifices.”
Going on to address why Eurovision is so important, she said: “Another really obvious statement is look at all the delegates behind us, everyone here is from all over the world.
“The thing, the one thing that brings me to those countries and the one thing that brings all these people here tonight is music.
“Let’s never underestimate the power of music.
“So to quote an amazing song, music makes the people come together, yeah.”

Ahead of tonight’s Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, Netherlands were the favourite to take the top prize.
Duncan Laurence found himself at just 8/11 with the bookies to be crowned as tonight’s Eurovision winner in Tel Aviv.
Australia’s act Kate Miller-Heidke, who performed Zero Gravity, looked to be the closest rivals of the Dutch at 11/2.
Unfortunately it was bad news for the UK the odds Michael Rice finishing in last place were at just 4/1.
Nearly 25 years after being booted from Saturday Night Live, former cast member Adam Sandler returned to Studio 8H with a lot to get off his chest — in song, naturally.
Sandler’s musical confession came during his monologue. After acknowledging his wife and kids in the audience, he said that his daughter once asked why he left SNL if it was really the greatest time of his life, as he always told her. The answer, he sang, was simple:
“I was fired, I was fired. I was fired, sad to tell. Well I never saw it coming, I got fired from SNL. Between seasons I heard a nasty rumor that I was getting the sack. I tried to call Lorne Michaels, but he never called me back. … I guess NBC had enough of Crazy Spoon Head and the songs I sang on the news. Maybe the were sick of Canteen Boy, but I think they just hate the Jews. I was fired, not rehired, well it made me sad and blue. I told my boy Chris Farley I got fired — and he said, ‘Same, man. They fired my ass, too.’”
Sandler was then joined by fellow former cast member Chris Rock, who also spun a sad tale of woe from his SNL days: “I got fired, I was fired, I was fired by NBC. Then I went on In Living Color. Three weeks later, they took it off TV.”
Current cast member Pete Davidson was the next to take the stage, though Sandler was quick to explain that he hasn’t been fired yet. “I wasn’t?” Davidson replied. “How that’s even possible.”
“I don’t know,” Sandler told him. “But be patient. It’s coming soon.” He then returned to his solo act: “Well, it broke my heart to pieces, cause SNL was my home. Where could I do my silly voices now? I never felt so alone. … Yeah, I was fired. I was fired. NBC said that I was done. Then I made over $ 4 billion at the box office, so I guess you could say I won.”
Then came the big finish: “So I was fired, but tonight I’m rehired, and I’m the happiest man alive. Cause it feels so good to be back with you here tonight where it all began for me, right here on Saturday Night Live.”

That chill weekend jam you requested has arrived — and it’s dressed to kill. Netflix on Friday released the theme song and opening title sequence for its upcoming Carmen Sandiego reboot, and while it may not get your blood pumping quite like the iconic Rockapella version of yesteryear, it fits the new series’ mysterious vibe quite nicely.
With Jane the Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez voicing the title role, Netflix’s Carmen Sandiego shifts from the focus from “where” the iconic criminal may be to “who” she really is, exploring her history with the V.I.L.E. Training Academy — a shadowy organization she has since dedicated her life to stopping. Along the way, she’ll be helped by a “player,” voiced by Stranger Things‘ Finn Wolfhard.
Here’s the show’s official logline, per Netflix: “Carmen is a modern day Robin Hood traveling the globe and stealing from V.I.L.E. and giving back to its victims. Carmen is publicly perceived as a criminal by most law enforcement agencies – correction, make that a master criminal due to the sheer scale and theatricality of her heists. We will follow her escapades and get to determine not only where but WHO in the world is Carmen Sandiego?”

In case you didn’t hear, Adam Sandler has an original comedy special on Netflix, and unlike most of the movies he’s released over the past couple decades, it’s actually a return to hilarious form for the comedian who got his start doing goofy songs and silly characters on Saturday Night Live. Along with the funny storytelling and roster of all-new original song, there’s one particular moment that you might be surprised to have pull at your heartstrings.
Adam Sandler’s 100% Fresh comedy special features a tribute to the late, great comedian Chris Farley, who has now been gone for 21 years. Sandler sings a simultaneously funny and heart-warming song about the Tommy Boy star, the various characters he played on Saturday Night Live, the profound effect he had on everyone who came into contact with him, and the tragic day when he left us all too soon.
If you would have told me that Adam Sandler’s comedy special in 2018 would genuinely bring tears to my eyes, I would have said you were crazy. But here we are, and this is one of the most touching moments of the year in pop culture. You can tell Sandler really loved Chris Farley, as did all of his friends, and knowing the tragic fate that he met by living life too fast only makes it that much harder. But at least he gave us years of laughter and still inspires new generations of comedians to this day, hopefully with a bit of caution too.
Trust me when I say Adam Sandler’s comedy special will be one of the most pleasant surprises of 2018 if you give it a shot. It’s available to watch on Netflix right now, so maybe watch it with the older members of your family over the holidays.
