PUBG Mobile users might want to download Tencent’s official new emulator.

The Battlegrounds Mobile developer has released a new emulator that lets users play PUBG Mobile with a mouse and keyboard.

“Tencent’s best-ever emulator for PUBG Mobile,” reads the official description. “Flexible and precise control with a mouse and keyboard combo.”

As WCCFTech points out, the PUBG Mobile PC emulator is limited in terms of matchmaking, but is ideal for players who don’t enjoy the touch controls.

The PUBG Mobile emulator is also in beta, so matchmaking restrictions may be lifted in the future.

PUBG Mobile currently utilises touch controls similar to Fortnite.

Movement is controlled on the left side of the screen, while weapons are fired by pressing the right side of the screen.

While the controls are intuitive enough, it’s no match for mouse and keyboard aiming and movement.

The news comes as Bluehole tests a brand new update for PUBG on Xbox One.

The imminent update looks set to be a big one, adding much-needed graphical improvements, bug fixes and colour blind settings.

According to the patch notes, PUBG update 14 will expand the field of view of scopes, and will add new visual effects. This should make scopes feel more realistic.

Other interesting additions include new crosshair settings, more vibration customisation and emotes.

Needless to say, Bluehole is also testing a big batch of bug fixes.

Bluehole is yet to reveal the release date for the next major PUBG update, but it could also coincide with the release of the Miramar desert map on Xbox One.

The Miramar map has been undergoing testing on Xbox One, as Bluehole gets it ready for launch.

The full release is pencilled in for May 2018, although an exact release date is yet to be revealed.

John Boyega quickly became one of the most beloved members of the Star Wars cast after his role as rogue Stormtrooper Finn in The Force Awakens. So it was with much anticipation that fans waited to see him take down his former foe, Captain Phasma, in The Last Jedi. But some fans were left unsatisfied by the short battle, and as it turns out, so was Boyega! “I didn’t expect it to be that quick if I’m being honest with you. I was like, wait, wait, what? He’s been like ramped up for a big fight and then it was over in a second,” Boyega told IGN.

The hatred among some for porgs has slightly died down now that The Last Jedi has left theaters, but fans of the cuddly critters are still celebrating them. In a super cute video from Leupsi some very cute animated porgs dance to a remix of the Cantina song from A New Hope! And we love EVERY SECOND OF IT!!

Mark Hamill Walk of Fame

The Last Jedi saw us say goodbye to the original young Jedi, Luke Skywalker, and fans were devastated. Hamill, on the other hand, has his own theory, and in this interview with Entertainment Weekly, he shared his wish for the farm boy from Tattooine. “My favorite is the fact that maybe he transported to somewhere else. And I thought, ‘Well, if he left his robes behind he’d have to go to a nudist colony,’” Hamill laughed.

Claudia Gray has been creating fantastic Star Wars novels since her Lost Stars. So we were super stoked when we found out (per Fanthatracks) that LINE Manga will be adapting her gorgeous Princess Leia prequel, Leia, Princess of Alderaan. The new series will launch on May 4 and focuses on Leia’s first steps towards joining the Rebellion.

Mark Hamill has been a busy boy recently, promoting the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Blu-ray and DVD release as well as visiting SXSW right after getting a long overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you didn’t make it down to the El Capitan, you can luckily watch the full ceremony here.

During a recent interview with Yahoo on the Pacific Rim press trail, John Boyega solved the mystery of those behind the scenes shots which saw him with a completely different style from his The Last Jedi look. See, Boyega wasn’t in production and was just screen testing with Kelly Marie Tran! He also had some thoughts about Han Solo’s death in The Force Awakens, saying “Han knows what he got into walking onto that damn bridge!”

If you’ve always wanted to spend almost $ 500 on a ridiculously detailed scale recreation of Jabba’s sail barge from Return of The Jedi, then you’re in luck! Comic Book Dot Com got a sneak peak at the brand new HasLab – Hasbro’s crowd funding platform – vintage collection model, which is just the coolest and most outrageous thing we’ve seen in a while.

The Last Jedi novelization has been a massive talking point among fans, as the book has expanded on multiple themes and threads that the movie set up. The book’s author Jason Fry has written an intriguing article for the official Star Wars website about how the new book connects to multiple other new canon stories and comics.

AT AT Star Wars 7

Ever wanted to build a massive AT-AT? Well, Kyle Gilbert did just that for an event at his local church. The 17-foot sculpture is truly a sight to behold and you can get a look at it at StarWars.com!

Star Wars toys have long been some of the most collectable figures in the galaxy, but as the years have passed and the fandom has grown, the toys have gone from 6-inch barely poseable figures to huge customizable collections. Nerdist recently revealed that Jabba the Hutt is the newest character to get a super detailed action figure from Sideshow Toys, and you can customize him to your heart’s content!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Training Featurette
Daisy Ridley has been working the press trail for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and in a recent Facebook Q&A, she opened up about Rey’s strength and her philosophies about the character, stating, “I don’t really believe in weaknesses in people because I think you can’t decide what’s good and what’s bad in a person. Everything makes the whole and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, as we know.” We’ve missed Daisy and love hearing her wax lyrical about what makes Rey tick!

After the emotional finale of Rebels, Star Wars fans are reeling, desperate to know the fate of the beloved young Jedi at the heart of the show. Luckily for us, the actor who brought Ezra to life, Taylor Grey, talks about Rebels and the journey his character took over four seasons.

Star Wars Explained was also celebrating the end of Rebels with this super-sized video exploring over 80 bits of trivia, easter eggs, and facts in the wake of the finale. It’s a must watch for fans already missing the crew of the Ghost and their adventures on Lothal.

One of the most iconic parts of any Star Wars film is the score, and Ron Howard recently confirmed in a Tweet that John Powell has begun scoring Solo: A Star Wars Story in London’s Abbey Road. We’re die hard John Williams fans, but have enjoyed hearing what other musicians and composers are bringing to the new Star Wars universe. We can’t wait to see what Powell has up his sleeve.

With the ever-expanding world of Star Wars, every character has the chance of being revisited and reimagined. So, of course, fans are looking to the OG Jedi, Luke Skywalker. Though fans seem to want Sebastian Stan to take on the role, Mark Hamill has other ideas. “If they have – like they do now – with five or six plots, and you’re cutting to what’s going on all around him and they keep coming back to a really young Luke, I thought, ‘The one I love is Jacob Tremblay,’” Hamill told Variety.

Star Tours The Last Jedi
Reporting from the Star Wars: The Last Jedi documentary event at SXSW, Inverse managed to get some great quotes from the director about Mark Hamill’s journey with the character of Luke. “It was a big deal for Mark to realize his character was taking a different turn than he expected,” Anthony Wonke said. This fantastic doc is included on both the digital and Blu-ray versions of The Last Jedi.

star wars rebels new character
There was a lot to take away from the finale of Star Wars Rebels, but one small reference that made a lot of old school fans get very, very excited was the introduction of a new canon character named Jacen. A reference to a beloved Expanded Universe character, Dave Filoni has since hinted to Io9 that we may see Jacen Syndulla again. “I thought that’s a little bit of a wink to people that I know that was an important character. And maybe, in some way, that lives on through this character. I don’t know yet,” Filoni explained.

Star Wars The Last Jedi - Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker
The Last Jedi novelization has been the source of many leaks, twists, and teases, but as reported by Screen Rant it also reveals Luke originally wanted to leave Ahch-To with Rey and join the Resistance once again. This moving revelation will likely be bittersweet to fans who wish they could’ve seen their hero truly stand with the Resistance one more time.

Rey’s parentage has been one of the most contentious and highly debated topics since the release of The Force Awakens, but with The Last Jedi the conversation was closed as Kylo revealed Rey’s parents were “nobodies.” An incredible new essay at StarWars.com explores how Rey’s cave vision echoed some other lost orphans before her, namely Luke and Anakin Skywalker.

‘Tomb Raider’ Clips: Lara Croft Has Meetings, Solves Puzzles, Fights Walton Goggins, Raids Zero Tombs https://briefnews.eu/tomb-raider-clips-lara-croft-has-meetings-solves-puzzles-fights-walton-goggins-raids-zero-tombs/ https://briefnews.eu/tomb-raider-clips-lara-croft-has-meetings-solves-puzzles-fights-walton-goggins-raids-zero-tombs/#respond Wed, 14 Mar 2018 10:35:19 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/tomb-raider-clips-lara-croft-has-meetings-solves-puzzles-fights-walton-goggins-raids-zero-tombs/ Tomb Raider Clips

Hey, a new Tomb Raider movie is a thing that’s happening this week. Alicia Vikander (Jason Bourne, Ex Machina) stars as Lara Croft, the main character from the long-running video game franchise that follows an explorer who always seems to get caught up in danger and intrigue among historical artifacts and ruins.

Four new Tomb Raider clips have surfaced online in a last ditch effort to get audiences interested in seeing the movie, which hits theaters this weekend. Unfortunately, they’re all incredibly boring and don’t do anything to pique interest in this latest video game adaptation at all. But maybe that’s just me. See for yourself below.

Watch the Tomb Raider Clips

Here’s a tender moment between Lara Croft and her mother, played by Kristin Scott Thomas. It seems Lara Croft holds a grudge against her father, though it’s not clear for what. Her anger and bitterness is keeping her from signing the papers for what appears to be her inheritance. But if she doesn’t accept what she’s been given, then it will be destroyed, including her childhood home. Bummer.

Apparently having a change of heart, Lara Croft is signing the papers that will give her exactly what her father has left behind for her. One of those things is a Japanese puzzle box known as a karakuri. Of course, she solves it quickly (though it doesn’t look all that difficult), and inside is both a memento and the key to an adventure she will embark upon.

Here, Lara Croft is solving a puzzle that will provide access to a tomb that Walton Goggins desperately wants to enter. Goggins plays Mathias Vogel, who has some kind of link to Lara’s father, though it doesn’t sound like it was a solid friendship. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Vogel was somehow responsible for the death of Lara’s father.

Honestly, is this the best Tomb Raider can do? This scene feels so dreadfully bland, and the score is desperately trying to make Vikander spinning some stone wheels exciting somehow. It just feels like a complete waste.

Here’s easily the most exciting scene from this round of clips. Walton Goggins and Alicia Vikander square off, and they do it on a ladder that acts as a bridge between two cliffs. That feels more than a little contrived and silly, but at least it’s something, I guess? Hopefully the film has more to offer than just poor imitations of Indiana Jones scenes.

The video game adaptation is directed by Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug (The Wave) and written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Alastair Siddons.

Tomb Raider hits theaters on March 16, 2018. Here’s the official synopsis:

Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen. Now a young woman of 21 without any real focus or purpose, Lara navigates the chaotic streets of trendy East London as a bike courier, barely making the rent, and takes college courses, rarely making it to class. Determined to forge her own path, she refuses to take the reins of her father’s global empire just as staunchly as she rejects the idea that he’s truly gone. Advised to face the facts and move forward after seven years without him, even Lara can’t understand what drives her to finally solve the puzzle of his mysterious death.

Going explicitly against his final wishes, she leaves everything she knows behind in search of her Dad’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. But her mission will not be an easy one; just reaching the island will be extremely treacherous. Suddenly, the stakes couldn’t be higher for Lara, who – against the odds and armed with only her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit – must learn to push herself beyond her limits as she journeys into the unknown. If she survives this perilous adventure, it could be the making of her, earning her the name tomb raider.

  • Many US credit cards don’t work at payment kiosks in Europe and elsewhere abroad — this is because they rely on “Chip-and-PIN” transactions, which most US cards aren’t equipped for.
  • The Barclaycard Arrival Plus credit card is one of the few US credit cards that has Chip-and-PIN, making it a great card to bring when you travel overseas.
  • The card offers a sign-up bonus of 40,000 points when you spend $ 3,000 on purchases within the first 90 days.

A few summers ago, I went to Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of a European vacation. I flew from the UK and had a nice, easy trip — Ryanair might not be the most luxurious airline, but you can’t beat a $ 50 international flight! After I landed, I made my way through immigration control and down to the metro station, where I tried to use my credit card to buy a ticket from a vending machine — and got a request for my PIN code.

owners can expect a new update that solves an irritating problem.

Microsoft is about to introduce a brand new ‘do not disturb’ feature, which will disable notifications and prevent people from interrupting your game.

“Sometimes all you want to do is avoid all distractions and focus entirely on your game,” Microsoft explains.

“We’ll be including a ‘Do not disturb’ online status, which will suppress notifications and let your friends know that you’re not available for another game or activity right now.”

Another useful feature is the ability to view the next set of Achievements you’re closest to.

“With this update, you’ll be able to use the “Next Achievements” feature in the Guide, which enables you to view and sort a cross-games list of upcoming Achievements,” Microsoft continues.

According to Microsoft, you can also filter Achievements to prioritise the next set on the list.

“Easily see which Achievements you are closest to, and quickly launch the game to obtain them.

“Sort filters allow you to prioritise next Achievements by closest, most common, rarest, most common rare, and highest Gamerscore.”

The update, which is currently available to Insiders, will roll out to additional Xbox One owners soon.

Other new features include Mini Game Hubs, improvements to the community feed and new shutdown options.

The latter will give players the chance to shut the console down after two, three, four and five hours of inactivity.

Fans will be able to better view community comments and check the Game Hub without leaving the action.

“Mini Game Hubs provide an easy way to see friends who are currently playing, upcoming Achievements, Looking for Group posts, and more.”

Kia Niro EV REVEALED at CES 2018 – Electric car solves one huge problem with EVs https://briefnews.eu/kia-niro-ev-revealed-at-ces-2018-electric-car-solves-one-huge-problem-with-evs/ https://briefnews.eu/kia-niro-ev-revealed-at-ces-2018-electric-car-solves-one-huge-problem-with-evs/#respond Tue, 09 Jan 2018 00:48:14 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/kia-niro-ev-revealed-at-ces-2018-electric-car-solves-one-huge-problem-with-evs/

was revealed at CES 2018.

The all-new battery electric car was on display at the Las Vegas technology show, revealing the company’s advancements in the technology.

It follows in the footsteps of the with its fresh good looks and styling.

Niro EV is also paired to an efficient battery-electric powertrain.

The compact SUV has been designed to be aerodynamically efficient and improve the car’s range.

Being an electric car it has no need for a grille, so it has been replaced by a smooth interactive display panel, combined with ultra-slim lamp technology in the overall front.

It resembles the current Niro SUV in its design but with some futuristic adjustments.

Kia is lining this car up to be one used in urban and suburban roads, making it suitable for both towns and cities.

The car is also paired with a number of driver assistance safety systems which will improve safety inside the car but also for pedestrians.

These include the concept’s new Active Pedestrian Warning System which features a combination of front view cameras, object recognition technology and front speakers.

It will notify a pedestrian that gets too near using the speakers warning them of its presence.

This addresses an issue with electric cars which have a silent powertrain which can make them harder to hear.

APWS is matched by the Niro EV Concept’s new interactive lighting system, which offers users and pedestrians a highly-intuitive visual communication with vehicle.

Niro EV is powered by a 64 kWh lithium-polymer battery pack, paired with a powerful 150 kW electric motor allowing 238 miles of range on a single charge.

It also has fast charging allowing 115 miles of charge in just 30 minutes.

Inside the cabin is minimalistic and features many digital elements to improve user interaction with technology.

Kia says its wraparound design which ‘cocoons’ the driver and passengers.

The South Korean car manufacturer also stated it plans to bring a total of 16 electrified vehicles by 2025, including a fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) in 2020.

“By 2025, we will offer a total of 16 advanced powertrain vehicles, with five new hybrids and plug-in hybrids, five new battery EVs, and an all-new mass market FCEV,” said Vice Chairman Yang.

“Due to launch in 2020, this FCEV will spearhead Kia’s efforts to realise a zero-emission future for mobility.”

A new SNES Classic Mini device may have solved the console’s biggest problem.

My Arcade’s Super Gamepad is about to go on sale in the US, where it’s available for $ 24.99 on Amazon. UK customers can pick it up on January 18 for £19.99.

The grooming and skincare industry is huge. No matter what type of skin or hair you have, what part of the body you need to address, or what kind of problem you’re looking to solve, there are products for it.

With a seemingly unlimited amount of product choices, finding the ones that work best for you can become a long, drawn-out process.

While buying multiple products to compare, contrast, or simply to collect is a part of being a fan of the beauty industry for some women, most men don’t feel the same way. For guys, buying product after product is more of an expensive headache than a fun experience.

Since grooming is equally important to men and women, Birchbox created a solution to finding the best grooming products with no hassle and a low cost.

Founded in 2010 by Katia Beauchamp and Hayley Barna, Birchbox launched as a different approach to shopping for beauty products. It combined personalized monthly subscription boxes with an easy-to-use web shop featuring products women would love. Two years later in 2012, BirchboxMan launched to cater specifically to men’s grooming needs.

Whether you’re looking for face wash to prevent acne, oil to tame a wild beard, long-lasting deodorant, or fresh cologne, BirchboxMan makes it simple for guys. The subscription includes five samples from the greatest grooming brands on the market. What makes the subscription worthwhile is that it’s curated for each person individually. Completing a grooming profile during sign-up helps BirchboxMan understand your style and grooming needs so that the subscription includes products that you can actually use. For example, you won’t receive hair styling products if you’re bald or cream for dry skin if you’re oily.

BirchboxMan is also extremely affordable. At just $ 10 a month, or $ 54 for 6 months using the promo code “MEN54,” you’ll spend far less on products you don’t need or like. You can cancel at any time and when you come across products you absolutely love, you can purchase full-sized versions of them at BirchboxMan.

Birchbox sent over a subscription box for me to check out, and it’s definitely a smart way to spend $ 10. The box included Anthony Facial Scrub, Brickell Charcoal Face Wash, Jack Black All Over Wipes, Kiehl’s Ultimate Man Body Scrub Soap, and Marlowe No. 123 Facial Moisturizer. If I were to purchase the five products individually, it would cost $ 105. Since spending that much money isn’t in most people’s budget, the BirchboxMan subscription is an amazing deal.

Never waste your time and money dealing with products you’re unsure of. Make grooming easy and affordable with BirchboxMan.
