Google Maps Street View images tend to go viral when people are caught at their worst – and this photo is no exception.

The online mapping service has captured woman just as she faceplants onto the pavement.

Google’s timing couldn’t be more perfect as the action-shot shows her hitting the ground.

It’s been speculated that the woman is doing the worm dance move (which sees the subject move forward in a rippling motion along the ground) and chose to be on the pavement in such a manner.

However, it is much more likely the woman has been pictured just as she fell over.

It looks to be a nasty fall on the ground and her legs can be seen kicking out at the back.

She has thrown her arms forward in an attempt to protect herself from the impact.

Google managed to capture her perfectly in the middle of this embarrassing tumble.

Luckily, her face is hidden as she faces the pavement so she is not identifiable.

The woman is not alone in being caught by Google in a mortifying moment.

A man was photographed just as he was hurled off his bike into the middle of a busy road.

The man can be seen sprawled across the tarmac as he throws out an arm to protect himself from the impact of the fall.

The unfortunate accident must have been very painful – although no one nearby has yet stopped to help him in the image.

His bike has tumbled to the tarmac to the right of him as he was hurled to the ground.

A silver car can be seen just in front of the poor man, suggesting the vehicle could have played a role in the incident.

However, a pedestrian walking along the left-hand side pavement of the road did not turn around, potentially eradicating the possibility of a collision.

Perhaps the cyclist had an unfortunately timed wobble and simply fell off his two wheels.

On another occasion, a man was snapped in London vomiting in the street as a friend looked after him.

To make the shot even grimmer, the pool of orange sick can be seen on the pavement.

He was captured sitting on a wall outside a set of open double doors – perhaps the establishment where he had too much to drink.

The shot was apparently captured in the month of December, suggesting the pair have overindulged at a Christmas party.

Let’s block ads! (Why?)

Millions of Americans watched the event unfold last August, making it one of the most-photographed in history. And Carmichael felt the pressure.

He studied the eclipse’s path, and realized that a Southwest Airlines flight from Portland to St. Louis would put him in the perfect geographical — and physical — location to photograph the event.

So he booked a ticket.

Keep reading to see how he achieved what’s being hailed “the most amazing photo ever taken from a commercial airplane.”

Carmichael was ready to bribe a passenger for a window seat. Luckily, he didn’t have to — and the entire flight crew got on board with his mission.

Southwest doesn’t offer pre-assigned seats, so Carmichael came prepared to pay somebody for one facing the right window.

But once he explained his vision to the flight crew, they assured him he would get a great seat — and the captain actually cleaned Carmichael’s window to make sure it was crystal clear.

The pilots actually circled the eclipse a few times so passengers could witness the once-in-a-lifetime event. That’s when Carmichael captured his stunning photo.

“In photography, it’s very rare for something you envision to manifest itself, let alone to turn out even better than you had hoped,” he said.

“I had never felt more relieved, grateful, and excited in my life. Against all odds, it came together. It felt meant to be — and literally changed my life,” he told My Modern Met.

“We’re all one. We’re all connected. And if you keep viewing the world as a pale blue dot, as Carl Sagan would say, it humbles you — and we all could use an ego check. And take care of each other” he said.

Google Maps Street View: Loved-up couple snapped in highly embarrassing image https://briefnews.eu/google-maps-street-view-loved-up-couple-snapped-in-highly-embarrassing-image/ https://briefnews.eu/google-maps-street-view-loved-up-couple-snapped-in-highly-embarrassing-image/#respond Wed, 12 Sep 2018 03:37:00 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/google-maps-street-view-loved-up-couple-snapped-in-highly-embarrassing-image/

Google Maps Street View has photographed a couple enjoying a romantic moment on a beach.

The man and woman are sitting down upon towels on the sand and are kissing one another.

However, something very embarrassing seems to have happened to the couple.

The pair are so loved-up they appear to share not just affection but also limbs.

The woman is facing towards the camera and is wearing sunglasses and she leans forward to kiss her beau.

But the man, whose bearded face is partially obscured as he turns away, appears to have his body connected to his partner’s.

His tattooed arm can be easily seen as it lies casually upon a blue bag, but what looks to be the woman’s leg appears to be growing out of his back.

The back of his shoulder morphs perfectly into the woman’s bent knee.

His other hand can be seen resting upon his knee yet, apart from this glimpse of his leg, the lower half of his body appears to simply not exist.

However, the man’s mystery body is not the only thing wrong with this beach scene.

To the right of the couple, stands another man – yet viewers can only see his legs below his knees.

Above his knees, his body simply disappears into thin air.

Thankfully, there is a logical explanation to the bizarre goings-on in the image.

A technological glitch with the Google cameras has created a very weird effect.

The photography splicing has caused the problem due to the way the images are assembled.

When taking the photo, the 360-degree cameras shoot multiple pictures to create the seamless image.

This is done by knitting the images together to make it seem realistic.

However, moving objects often ruin the scene as they shift when the photos are taken.

This is far from the only time such a bizarre image has cropped up on Google Maps.

Recently a strange two-headed beast was spotted on Google only to in fact be a dog which had fallen foul of a Google fault, just like this unfortunate couple.

Man Utd transfer news: Anthony Martial snapped arriving at Carrington after defying boss https://briefnews.eu/man-utd-transfer-news-anthony-martial-snapped-arriving-at-carrington-after-defying-boss/ https://briefnews.eu/man-utd-transfer-news-anthony-martial-snapped-arriving-at-carrington-after-defying-boss/#respond Fri, 03 Aug 2018 13:28:34 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/man-utd-transfer-news-anthony-martial-snapped-arriving-at-carrington-after-defying-boss/

Martial was given time off to return home to Paris for the birth of his second child last week.

However, the Frenchman failed to head back the USA for the remainder of United’s tour and risked being fined by the club as a result.

And manager Jose Mourinho believed his player should have returned to take part in the rest of United’s pre-season preparations Stateside.

“He has the baby and after the baby is born – beautiful baby, full of health, thank god,” Mourinho told MUTV.

“He should be here and he is not here.”

Martial’s absence from the tour left United without a senior central attacking option for their friendlies against AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

United beat Milan on penalties before going on to suffer a poor 4-1 defeat against their Premier League rivals.

However, they did beat Real Madrid 2-1 in their final game on the US tour.

But Martial’s absence from the rest of the tour has once again raised questions over his future at Old Trafford.

The forward – who desperately lacks game time under Mourinho – has been repeatedly linked away from the club.

Earlier this summer his agent confirmed the player wants to exit Old Trafford.

United are reluctant to allow the forward to leave and it’s understood Mourinho will only sanction a move away if it is for the right fee.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich in recent days with United keen to secure the services of Jerome Boateng in exchange for Martial.

Express Sport understands Chelsea and Tottenham are also keen.

It’s unclear whether Martial will feature in United’s final warm-up game against Bayern Munich before their Premier League season gets underway against Leicester a week today.

3 daughters ‘snapped’ & stabbed father to death after years of alleged abuse in Moscow horror drama https://briefnews.eu/3-daughters-snapped-stabbed-father-to-death-after-years-of-alleged-abuse-in-moscow-horror-drama/ https://briefnews.eu/3-daughters-snapped-stabbed-father-to-death-after-years-of-alleged-abuse-in-moscow-horror-drama/#respond Mon, 30 Jul 2018 20:10:22 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/3-daughters-snapped-stabbed-father-to-death-after-years-of-alleged-abuse-in-moscow-horror-drama/ His body lacerated with dozens of stab wounds, Mikhail Khachaturyan stumbled from his Moscow flat and collapsed dead by the elevator. Disturbingly, for his teenage daughters, his death came as a relief after years of abuse.

Khachaturyan’s daughters – Kristina, 19, Angelina, 18, and Maria, 17 – have been arrested and charged with stabbing their father to death on Friday, Russian law enforcement has confirmed.

While Mikhail Khachaturyan strove to present himself as a decent, religious type, neighbors called him a controlling, “abusive”“mafia boss” and his daughters readily admitted to the murder, claiming that they’d violently snapped after years of physical, mental and sexual abuse.

“We hated him and we wanted just one thing to happen – either that he disappeared or that we never knew him,” Kristina told the police. “We wanted him just to go away and never come back.”

Friends and neighbors claimed that Khachaturyan was a tyrannical father and husband, who had developed a heroin habit and reportedly had connections with the criminal underworld. Khachaturyan’s abusive behavior drove away his wife, the girls’ mother. Khachaturyan’s son, in his 20s, also lives away from home.

Left at home with the three girls, the 57-year-old fitted the family apartment with cameras to snoop on the girls while he was away, often forbade them from going to school, and subjected them to beatings if they dared to defy him.

“He was always beating them,” said a family friend. “Once he took them to a forest and threatened to kill them. The mother ran away from him, he banned all communication with her.”

Another friend told Telegram news channel Mash that Khachaturyan would beat the girls savagely, but would avoid leaving visible bruises, lest anyone find out the extent of his abuse. However, his punishments were often more creatively sadistic than simple beatings.

Another family friend alleges that Khachaturyan flew into a rage when he found a dog hair on the carpet. He summoned one of his daughters to the room, made her brush the dog and eat its hair as punishment.

By far the most severe allegations against Khachaturyan are sexual. According to 112, another local Telegram news channel, the father raped one of his daughters, driving the teenager to attempt suicide.

“After the sexual attack, she took a lot of pills but was rescued by doctors. The father persuaded the medics that it was not a suicide attempt but just a mistake,” 112 reported. A family friend corroborated the story, saying she knew at least one girl had been “sexually abused,” while another said that the depraved father was “constantly seducing” his daughters.

The girls’ estranged brother would sometimes visit. After he stopped by with a male friend, Khachaturyan became convinced that the girls had sex with the male visitor.

“So you all did it together with him, all three of you?” he raged at the girls. “All of you are whores, and you will die as whores,” he thundered, in a rant recorded on audio tape.

“You will suck all the time if you don’t go away,” he told them. “And if you go away I will find you, you whores…I will f*ck you and you will regret it. You won’t have time to regret.”

“I will beat you…I will kill you. Go away, go away, don’t push me to sin,” he continued.

Accounts of Khachaturyan’s death vary. One Moscow news agency dramatically describes how the girls planned their father’s murder in advance, with 17-year-old Maria stabbing him 35 times in the neck and body, 18-year-old Angelina raining hammer blows onto his head, and 19-year-old Kristina emptying a can of pepper spray into his face before driving a knife through his heart.

According to another version, Khachaturyan returned home under the influence of drugs, and came at one of the girls with a knife, wounding her. The other girls overpowered their father, turning the knife on him and stabbing him to death.

While the blow-by-blow details of the fateful night have yet to be established, the girls have pleaded guilty to their father’s death.

“During the interrogation, the girls pleaded guilty and explained that they had developed hostile relations with their father because of moral suffering for them for a long time,” a spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of Russia said on Monday. Charged with murder, the girls now face a maximum sentence of between 10 and 15 years imprisonment.

Khachaturyan presented himself in public as a devoted religious believer and allegedly forced his daughters to hang religious icons in the house. When police searched his Audi Q7 SUV, they found evidence of a different lifestyle. Two kilograms of heroin, two rifles, three handguns and a signal flare gun were all reportedly recovered from the man’s vehicle.

“I don’t know what happened,” an unnamed relative told REN TV. “I don’t know who to believe.”

The gruesome allegations have already raised a moral debate about the murder.

“When all your life is a long nightmare, full of constant traumas, physical and mental,” said a family friend, “Would you have done any different if you were in their shoes?”

Prince Harry’s stag do predictions claim he WILL be snapped in the nude again https://briefnews.eu/prince-harrys-stag-do-predictions-claim-he-will-be-snapped-in-the-nude-again/ https://briefnews.eu/prince-harrys-stag-do-predictions-claim-he-will-be-snapped-in-the-nude-again/#respond Sat, 09 Dec 2017 04:44:03 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/prince-harrys-stag-do-predictions-claim-he-will-be-snapped-in-the-nude-again/

Prince Harry’s stag do will no doubt be of the utmost secrecy, much like Prince Philip’s stag do.

The 96-year-old royal had one public stag do with the press and another in private with his upper society friends.

Prince Harry, 33, will surely be doing something to mark the end of unmarried life. Will the Prince return to Vegas to relive some past scandals?

In August 2012 the cheeky Prince caused some royal blushes when he was photographed naked in a hotel room on a Las Vegas holiday with pals. And it seems the majority of the British public believe the Prince will be getting up to his old tricks again.

Eighty-two per cent of respondents in a recent survey believe Prince Harry will be photographed doing something inappropriate during the party.

What’s more, predictions for where the stag will take place have been uncovered, with Las Vegas topping the list.

Respondents were asked about how they thought the wedding planning and the big day would play out, particularly the stag do and Harry’s choices.

So what do the public think Prince Harry’s stag will entail?

Who will be Harry’s best man?

Surprisingly Prince William does not top the best man shortlist, with Guy Pelly taking the number one spot. Guy Pelly is a close friend of both princes and threw Prince William’s stag party.

1. Guy Pelly – 29 per cent

2. Prince William – 25 per cent

3. Tom Inskip – 17 per cent

4. Jack Mann – 11 per cent

5. Arthur Landon – 7 per cent

Where will Prince Harry have his stag do?

1. Las Vegas – 24 per cent

2. St Tropez – 21 per cent

3. Monaco – 18 per cent

4. Dubai – 11 per cent

5. Amsterdam – 6 per cent

Participants were asked whether they thought that Prince Harry would invite his father, Prince Charles, to the stag do, with more than three quarters, 76 per cent, predicting that he would.

All of those taking part in the poll were then asked the same question, but this time regarding Prince Phillip, to which more than one fifth (22 per cent) said they believed he’d be invited.

Gambling, shooting and horse racing or polo were considered the three most likely activities to take place during the boys’ night out.

Mike Chidzey, a spokesperson for Chilli Sauce who commisioned the research, said: “The royal wedding is cause for much excitement; Prince Harry has always had a bit of a ‘bad boy’ edge about him and it would certainly seem from this poll that he still hasn’t shaken off his party animal reputation.

“We found it especially amusing that the public believes he would choose Las Vegas for his stag, especially after what happened there last time!

“Whatever happens on the stag, I think it’s safe to say it will be a lot of fun. We do enjoy the image of Prince Charles and Phillip joining in on the celebrations too!”

Simon Mignolet: Liverpool goalkeeper snapped during crazy performance against Leicester https://briefnews.eu/simon-mignolet-liverpool-goalkeeper-snapped-during-crazy-performance-against-leicester/ https://briefnews.eu/simon-mignolet-liverpool-goalkeeper-snapped-during-crazy-performance-against-leicester/#respond Sat, 23 Sep 2017 19:54:41 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/simon-mignolet-liverpool-goalkeeper-snapped-during-crazy-performance-against-leicester/

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet had an eventful day as the Reds beat Leicester 3-2 in a bizarre encounter at the King Power Stadium.

The Belgian stopper was arguably at fault for both Leicester goals and could count himself lucky to stay on the field after conceding – then saving – a penalty.

Mignolet has been the source of much debate this season, and another wobbly performance could put his place under pressure.

Jammy goal tops Mooy’s men, horror record snapped https://briefnews.eu/jammy-goal-tops-mooys-men-horror-record-snapped/ https://briefnews.eu/jammy-goal-tops-mooys-men-horror-record-snapped/#respond Mon, 11 Sep 2017 21:26:45 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/jammy-goal-tops-mooys-men-horror-record-snapped/ WEST Ham United claimed their first points of the season by beating Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield Town side 2-0, giving some breathing space to their under-fire coach Slaven Bilic.

A jammy deflected strike by Pedro Obiang in the 72nd minute and a goal from Andre Ayew five minutes later, when he stabbed home a loose ball from close range after a corner, were enough to end Huddersfield’s unbeaten start to the season.

It also handed Hammers goalkeeper Joe Hart his first clean sheet in 23 matches, stretching back to January.

West Ham were playing their first home game of the campaign after having to travel for their opening three matches because the stadium they moved into last season had been used for the world athletics championships in August.

Obiang got the opener via an enormous deflection and Bilic then pumped the air in relief as much as delight when Ghanaian star Ayew pounced to add the second as West Ham claimed their first points of the season.

Defeat to Huddersfield would have left the charismatic Croat in real danger of becoming the second managerial casualty of the season, after Frank de Boer was fired by pointless Crystal Palace on Monday.

For Huddersfield it was their first reverse — and the first goals they had conceded — of what has been an impressive start to life among the elite.

A match big on commitment but poor in quality had seen West Ham, with Andy Carroll back in attack after a thigh injury, go close twice in a first half they dominated.

Mexico striker Javier Hernandez was denied by the crossbar while Jonas Loessl got down to smother the ball on the line from James Collins’ header after 22 minutes.

However, the hosts deservedly went ahead 18 minutes from time with a piece of luck that had deserted them in their previous three league games.

Obiang’s shot looked to be going wide but took a significant deflection off Mathias Jorgensen and gave Loessl no chance, the goalkeeper desperately trying to make up ground but left flailing at the ball.

There was no luck involved in the second as Ayew, who had been sent on as a substitute, took advantage of a Huddersfield defender failing to clear the ball from a corner and tucked it away.

Huddersfield responded gamely with Tom Ince hitting the crossbar but they never threatened to spoil Bilic’s party.
