Alex Jones and Matt Baker are two incredibly skilled and charismatic presenters in television, and are fan-favourites on The One Show.
But tonight’s edition got a little bit awkward when guest and The OA actor Jason Isaacs repeatedly mocked the pregnant host for her lack of knowledge around the hit Netflix series.
The duo quickly admitted they’d never seen the science fiction fantasy, despite apparently being “the only two people” in the studio who hadn’t.
But despite this, Welsh presenter Alex did her best to explain the programme, and was unfortunately thwarted by Harry Potter star Jason at every turn.
“First series, I’m going to do a sum-up, jump in if I’m wrong,” Alex began with a smile.
Yet barely as she’d started to speak, Jason yelled: “wrong”, which immediately left Alex perturbed.
“What?” she asked in confusion, as Countryfile presenter Matt encouraged her to continued.
“She’s a blind girl, disappears, comes back, new name, new eyes, can see,” Alex fumbled through.
Sharing a wry smile with the presenter, Jason asked: “How old is she Alex?”
“I don’t know,” the host said desperately.
“She’s in her 20s,” Jason confirmed, apparently chastising Alex for her earlier comment about the girl being “young”.
“She’s in her 20s… that’s young!” Alex insisted, trying not to appear foolish as the hilarious discussion continued.
“That’s true,” Jason replied, as Alex clarified she meant in comparison to them.
“And then she comes back and she can jump through time and space,” Alex then shared, but Jason shut down the presenter and told her she was “wrong” once more.
Getting fed up with the situation, Alex stared at the camera in defeat.
“Right ok,” she said in a clipped tone, while Matt struggled not to giggle right next to her on the sofa.
Jason seemed to be enjoying the tease, as he said with a flourish: “But you’re doing very very well.

Billy Sharp’s ‘Mr Socko’ celebration0:00
Football: Sheffield United forward Billy Sharp has celebrated a goal with an amusing rendition of WWE legend Mick Foley’s ‘Mr Socko’ move.
A battle for control of the WWE goes down in Phoenix today at the annual Royal Rumble event.
The traditional 30-man and recently-added 30-woman elimination matches will decide who earns title opportunities at WrestleMania, but there’s also a host of title bouts on the line. WARNING: Spoilers
3.18pm
Kingston delivers annual ‘save’ spot
As far as Kofi Kingston goes the WWE veteran is famous for his creative ways of avoiding Royal Rumble elimination and this year he made use of the solid LED board that is the edge of the ring to stop both feet hitting the ground, after Dean Ambrose tossed him from the ring, using it to roll to safety before getting back in the ring.
His New Day partner Xavier Woods then saved an exiting Kingston on his way to the ring. Woods game them a piggyback into the ring before McIntyre eliminated them both at the same time.
Order of Entry: Elias, Jeff Jarrett, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kurt Angle, Big E, Johnny Gargano, Jinder Mahal, Samoa Joe, Curt Hawkins, Seth Rollins, Titus O’Neil, Kofi Kingston, Mustafa Ali, Dean Ambrose, No Way Jose, Drew McIntyre, Xavier Woods, Pete Dunne, Andrade, Apollo Crews, Aleister Black, Shelton Benjamin, Baron Corbin, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley
Order of Elimination: Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Jinder Mahal, Big E, Elias, Titus O’Neil, Curt Hawkins, Shinsuke Nakamura, Johnny Gargano, No Way Jose, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe, Apollo Crews, Alesietr Black, Pete Dunne, Bobby Lashley
Last year WWE star Titus O’Neil went viral when he tripped and fell on his way to the ring at the Royal Rumble, this year he poked fun at himself for last year’s epic fail.
I’m expecting WWE to do typical WWE things and have Titus O’Neil recreate his trip or do some sort of comedy spot in the #RoyalRumbleMatch. It was only hilarious the first time, because of how organic and unexpected it was. 🙄#RoyalRumblepic.twitter.com/exHPmvkWHI

Legend makes shocking WWE return to start Royal Rumble
That’s J-E-double F… proving there’s hope for a CM Punk return yet.Source:Supplied
WWE legend Jeff Jarrett has returned to the ring in a move that shows never say never in pro wrestling.
Once upon a time at the height of the Monday Night Wars he held WWE boss Vince McMahon to ransom over his contract before jobbing to Chyna on his way out the door to WCW but he entered the rumble at number 2 to duet with current singing star Elias.
Elias then sent him packing with what was Jarrett’s patented move, a guitar shot over the head, before tossing him from the ring.
Brock Lesnar is still WWE champion.Source:Supplied
The Brock Lesnar WWE Universal Title reign continues.
As far as Lesnar matches go his bout with Finn Balor was slightly disappointing for those baying for blood or any form of botch but The Beast, with his manager Paul Heyman in tow conquered Balor after a back and forth match.
Balor managed to have Lesnar on the ropes after several dives oover the top rope and his finisher the Coup de Grace but when he hit that it was all over as Lesnar trapped the Irishman in a kimura lock, forcing the tap out.
A host of viewers were disgruntled at the ho-hum spectacle and took aim at the MMA star on Twitter.
And my issue isn’t that Lesnar won. I knew he was winning. It’s the same process every match. Winning out of nowhere after being beat up. Change it up. #RoyalRumble
She pulled double duty at the Royal Rumble and now Becky Lynch has vowed to shatter the mould and become the first woman to main event WrestleMania.
Speaking to ESPN, Lynch was adamant, she and her opponent for the biggest WWE event of the year, rumoured to be Ronda Rousey, will go on last in April.
“We have changed the business. I am going to be the first woman to main event WrestleMania and that is happening in April,” Lynch told ESPN.
“It all started here tonight in front of 50,000 people screaming my name and millions around the world egging me on.”

Erick Rowan made his WWE return, helping Daniel Bryan beat AJ Styles.Source:Supplied
The new Daniel Bryan did more than just start a wonderful Twitter feud with Chase Field this week, he also defended the WWE Championship while bringing back an absolute beast of a man to the WWE fold.
After AJ Styles hit the Styles Clash it appeared Bryan was done but a returning Erick Rowan hit the ring with a choke slam to Styles as the previously fallen ref made the count of three for Bryan to retain his title.
Also if this is the start of an environmentally charged stable with Bryan as the leader, and he channels Straight Edge CM Punk, consider us all in.
For some pure wrestling gold from Bryan’s week in Phoenix, check out the below tweets.
Chase Field should be ashamed of themselves. Made from factory farmed pigs, an intelligent and extremely social mammal, and cheese from cows, who’s baby’s were ripped away from them. THEN add the heart disease delivered to the people who eat it. #SHAME#TheWorstGenerationhttps://t.co/6zlJ5zpyRN
After losing her own WWE Smackdown Women’s title match earlier in the night to Asuka, Lynch entered at No. 30 after Lana sold an ankle injury from the pre-show.
The final three were Charlotte, Jax and Lynch after Charlotte managed to toss Bayley they were left with Lynch elimination Jax, before having her knee battered and then Charlotte herself, when Flair charged at her and Lynch dumped her over the top rope.
Natalya just set a record for the longest time in a women’s Royal Rumble at nearly 59 minutes but the place has just erupted.
As Lana was selling an ankle injury after a beat down from Nia Jax and unable to make into the ring the Irish star walked down and demanded to be given her spot.
She got it and the crowd became unglued at the Rumble.
Naomi is long considered to have some of the most athletic moves of the WWE women’s crew and at the Rumble she nearly pulled off the Kofi Kingston save spot.
Having gone out over the rope when eliminating Mandy Rose, she reversed a powerbomb attempt into a headscissors and walked onto the ringside barricade before leaping to the steps before Rose actually threw her from there to the floor.
Continuing a theme that has gone on for a while Australia’s favourite pro wrestling duo Billie Kay and Peyton Royce have entered the Royal Rumble together.
The Iconic Duo managed to enter early on in the piece with Billie initially refusing to enter until Peyton got out there in a show of their friendship.
It didn’t happen though as Nikki Cross waylaid Billie on her way to the ring before the Australian was thrown in — not to worry though Royce was next to enter the fray.
There was plenty of talk about whether Ronda Rousey would leave WWE after WrestleMania and she dispelled that via her own words and then a great showing at the Royal Rumble with Sasha Banks.
Unable to lock in her signature armbar due to punching the ringpost early in the match Rousey was forced to find another way to beat Banks in what was a very physical match where Rousey showed just how far she has come in a short time.
After spending time in Banks’ own submission move the Banks Statement, Rousey eventually powered out of the move and lifted Banks into a bridging pinfall version of a judo throw she call’s the Piper’s Pit for the win via pinfall.
After winning the match Rousey wanted a show of sportsmanship from Banks, which she got before Banks later walked backed to her and threw up the hand gesture for the Four Horsewoman, suggesting a looming feud for Rousey against and Banks and her cohorts, Becky Lynch, Bayley and Charlotte Flair.
Twitter has gone into a medium-level meltdown over the lack of the ubiquitous WrestleMania sign that is usually hanging from the rafters at the Royal Rumble.
Apparently the WWE could not hang it at Chase Field and the scoreboard will be used for the winners of both the men’s and women’s rumbles to point at as a digital version of the sign lights it up.
You guys.
There is NO WrestleMania sign to point to.#RoyalRumble
At 49 years of age Shane McMahon should no longer be able to produce the hops he did in his youth, and while he didn’t jump off the cage or the set at the Royal Rumble what he pulled off was equally impressive.
After Sheamus missed a Brogue Kick hitting his partner Cesaro square in the mouth The Miz dropped the Irishman with a Skull Crushing Finale, setting the stage for McMahon.
The son of the boss climbed to the top rope, having earlier crashed and burned on a coast-to-coast attempt before hitting Cesaro with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press to get the three as he and The Miz won the Smackdown tag titles.
Becky Lynch and Smackdown women’s champion Asuka kicked off the main card but the woman who goes by the moniker ‘The Man’ and may just be the hottest act in WWE today couldn’t get the job done.
As she and Asuka traded submission moved late in the match Lynch would eventually fall prey to the Asuka Lock, tapping out in the centre of the ring.
The two destroyed each other during the match with some particularly nasty spots including this inverted DDT onto the floor.
With the match going on first the result plays into the theory that Lynch will now enter and win the women’s Royal Rumble match to set up a WrestleMania bout with Raw women’s champ Ronda Rousey.
Australia’s Buddy Murphy continues to reign as the WWE’s Cruiserweight champion.
The Australian, who won the title back in January in his hometown of Melbourne retained in a fatal four-way when he hit his Murphy’s Law finisher on Japanese star Hideo Itami.
The cruiserweights might have been on the pre-show but Murphy, Itami, Akiro Tozawa and Kalisto delivered some high-flying brilliance to get the crowd hyped up for the main card.
Late in the match Murphy delivered knee strikes to all four of his opponents in short fashion, particularly this one to Kalisto before going on to get the win.
Women: Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans, Bayley, Tamina Snuka, Lana, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Ember Moon, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Alicia Fox, Natalya, Mickie James, Nia Jax, Nikki Cross, Naomi, Zelina Vega, Charlotte Flair. Rest of the field to be confirmed.
Men: R-Truth, Randy Orton, Titus O’Neil, Rey Mysterio, Mustafa Ali, Andrade, Apollo Crews, Elias, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, Bobby Lashley, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, Jeff Hardy. Rest of the field to be confirmed.

Imagine brutally calling out your bosses for not paying you fairly and still keeping your job.
That’s exactly what happened to BBC journalist Carrie Gracie, who is fighting to bridge the gender pay gap at the British broadcaster.
It was an extraordinary week for the BBC, with women backing Gracie and journalists interviewing their bosses on television.
It’s the BBC’s worst crisis in years, but the broadcaster remains a brilliant platform for free speech — even if it inflicts self-harm.
Imagine publishing a brutal open letter complaining that your company doesn’t pay you fairly. Imagine then doubling down on your claims in front of a powerful group of parliamentarians live on TV. And imagine taking the fight to Twitter, detailing your boss’ attempts to appease you and thanking your supporters.

President Donald Trump has soured on Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, according to Axios.
Trump reportedly criticized 80-year-old Ross for falling asleep during meetings.
Ross is no longer the lead negotiator in trade talks with China, the report said.
President Donald Trump has lost faith in Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, criticizing Ross for falling asleep during meetings and saying he has “lost a step,” according to an Axios report on Sunday.
“Wilbur has lost his step,” Trump told an Axios source, according to the news outlet, which added that Trump shook his head “in resignation.”
“Actually, he’s probably lost a lot of steps.”
Trump reportedly told the source that Ross, who turned 80 in November, “is good until about 11 a.m.”
The president initially touted Ross as one of his most coveted Cabinet members because of his extensive Wall Street experience. But Trump has apparently been disappointed in Ross’s inability to negotiate trade deals with China, and recently allowed US trade representative Robert Lighthizer to take the lead on trade talks, according to Axios.
Trump reportedly berated and humiliated Ross in meetings when the transition to Lighthizer’s stewardship began six months ago.
“These trade deals, they’re terrible,” Trump reportedly said at the time, a source who was in the room told Axios. “Your understanding of trade is terrible. Your deals are no good. No good.”
The White House denied that Ross is no longer in the president’s good graces.
“Secretary Ross is leading the administration’s approach on steel, aluminum, intellectual property and trade,” White House deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters said in a statement. “Far from souring on his performance, since taking office, the President has expanded his responsibilities.”

Milo Yiannopoulos’ former editor ripped the initial manuscript he submitted to Simon & Schuster.
The editor took issue with Yiannopoulos’ sense of humor, logic, and writing style.
Right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos’ book deal fell through after a tape revealed that he appeared to endorse sexual relationships with teenagers.
But according to a manuscript revealed as part of Yiannopoulos’ $ 10 million lawsuit against Simon & Schuster, editors had “substantial concerns” with the book’s tone and message to begin with.
Simon & Schuster editor Mitchell Ivers, who has edited books by conservative figures including President Donald Trump and Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, criticized Yiannopoulos’ writing at length, pointing out logical fallacies in arguments, and saying that Yiannopoulos’ “ego gets in the way of authority” in certain passages.
“You can’t cite ONLY the one study that proves your point,” Ivers noted. “You have to offer it as a counter to the studies that DISPROVE your point.”
Ivers took issue with how Yiannopoulos covered subjects he was supposed to have some authority on.
He described Yiannopoulos’ section on the Gamergate controversy as “a mess of low-context writing, in which you assume the reader shares your previous knowledge and point-of-view, and muddled thinking,” and summed up Yiannopoulos’ chapter called “Why Ugly People Hate Me” as “terrible.”

Moreover, Ivers seemed to find Yiannopoulos to be an un-humorous subject, urging the former Breitbart News blogger to cut jokes that Ivers repeatedly said were not funny, and telling him not to make cruel analogies like comparing liberals to school shooters.
“Three unfunny jokes in a row. DELETE,” Ivers said after Yiannopoulos joked about putting a warning label on a Bikini Kill record that Yiannopoulos referred to as “Bikini Kills.”

And a pretty good summary of the book I imagine. pic.twitter.com/2kPESxAlA9Tweet Embed: https://twitter.com/mims/statuses/946355426492215296?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw You can feel the faint air of “oh god, what have we gotten ourselves into” getting stronger pic.twitter.com/bja198uLQy
Yiannopoulos has undoubtedly had a difficult year.
Yiannopoulos was forced out of Breitbart News following his comments about pedophilia, and was forced to cancel a major event he planned at the University of California-Berkeley.
BuzzFeed News later published embarrassing leaked emails that exposed Yiannopoulos’s deep ties to white supremacists. Just weeks later, hedge-fund billionaire Robert Mercer, a major former Yiannopoulos backer, acknowledged the right-wing provocateur has “caused pain and divisiveness undermining … open and productive discourse.”

Kane struck early in each half, book-ending goals from Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli, with Mohamed Salah netting in reply in front of a record Premier League crowd of 80,827 at Wembley that included the great Diego Maradona.
Spurs move level on points with second-place Manchester United, five points below leaders Manchester City, while Liverpool’s sorry defensive display left them a yawning 12 points off the pace in ninth place.
It was a second galling defeat against a supposed title rival for Liverpool, following their 5-0 capitulation at City in early September, and they have now won just one of their last six league games.
They were unrecognisable from the team that had crushed Maribor 7-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday, their travails summed up by a catastrophic defensive display from Dejan Lovren, who was taken off in the 31st minute.
Liverpool’s defeat — their first in 10 league games against Spurs — also saw them become only the sixth team to have conceded over 1,000 goals since the Premier League was launched in 1992.
With Liverpool out of the League Cup and their hopes of reaching the Champions League last 16 in the balance, it leaves manager Jurgen Klopp facing some uncomfortable questions two years into his Anfield tenure.
His opposite number, Mauricio Pochettino, redeployed the 3-5-2 system he had used in the 1-1 draw at Real Madrid in mid-week, but with illness restricting Eric Dier and Ben Davies to the bench, Serge Aurier started at left wing-back.
Kieran Trippier came into the team on the other flank and within four minutes he had an assist to his name.
The former Burnley man’s lofted pass was misjudged by Lovren and with Joel Matip slow to react, Kane stole in, hooked the ball inside the advancing Simon Mignolet and rolled it into the net.
Lovren’s nightmare continued eight minutes later as he woefully mistimed an attempt to head away a long throw from Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, allowing Kane to canter into the space behind him.
The England striker found Son with a brilliant cross from the right and the Spurs number seven used the inside of his left foot to plant a first-time shot past the exposed Mignolet.
It was almost 3-0 moments later as Son chested down Christian Eriksen’s through ball and slammed a shot against the Liverpool bar.
Liverpool reduced the arrears against the run of play in the 24th minute when Jordan Henderson’s pass from deep released Salah to trundle a right-foot shot past Lloris and in off the left-hand post.
But Spurs continued to find space behind Lovren — Son’s toe-poke blocked by Mignolet after he was cleverly freed by Alli — and in the 31st minute Klopp brought the Croatian’s torment to an end.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain came on and the ensuing reshuffle meant Emre Can dropped to right-back, where he was quickly found wanting.
His untidy foul from behind on Alli gave Spurs a free-kick in first-half stoppage time and when Eriksen’s delivery was headed away by Matip, Alli thumped a volley into the bottom-left corner.
It was game over 11 minutes into the second period after yet more scenes of calamity in the Liverpool penalty area.
Mignolet flapped at Trippier’s free-kick and although Roberto Firmino got back to block Jan Vertonghen’s goal-bound shot, Kane reacted swiftly to crash the rebound home.
With eight goals, the 24-year-old is now the outright top scorer in the division.
A second goal eluded Liverpool, Lloris acrobatically tipping a Philippe Coutinho curler onto the post and saving with his feet from both James Milner and Salah.
Kane went off holding the back of his left leg late on, but Pochettino said he was merely “tired”.

Conservative provocateur Ann Coulter slammed Sean Hannity in a blistering column on Wednesday, saying the Fox News commentator “would endorse communism” if Donald Trump did.
“Sean Hannity, bless his heart, has the zeal of the late Trump convert,” Coulter wrote in the column on her website. “He would endorse communism if Trump decided to implement the policies of ‘The Communist Manifesto.'”
The two firebrands have been feuding since last week, when Coulter accused Hannity of censoring from his show her comments about Trump’s relationship with Goldman Sachs.
Coulter said she had criticized Trump’s praise for his chief economic adviser Gary Cohn, the former Goldman Sachs president, whom he called one of the “great, brilliant business minds” on his Cabinet during a rally in Iowa last week.
Trump added that he did not want a “poor person” running the economy, and “that’s the kind of thinking we want” — a line Coulter told Hannity she objected to.
“On his show last Thursday, he tried to get me to defend Trump’s “rich person” remarks about Cohn,” Coulter said. “I wish you could see the segment, but, unfortunately, Hannity decided no one would ever see it.”
The pre-recorded segment was cut for time, Hannity said. The host has faced criticism for his unceasingly pro-Trump coverage.
But to Coulter, who bills herself an early Trump supporter, it does no good to blindly praise the president.
“Those of us who have been here for a while … know how to party responsibly,” she said. “The best way we serve the people we admire is to tell them the truth.”

President Trump’s incendiary, rambunctious, supremely awkward press conference on Thursday forced Seth Meyers to literally flip the script.
On Thursday’s Late Night, Meyers revealed that Trump’s presser was so bizarre that he had to jettison a planned Closer Look segment that focused on Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare. And to prove his point, he trotted out a paper shredder and destroyed the script on air.
“We had a draft that we felt good about… and then Donald Trump held what can only be described as a bat—t crazy press conference that rendered this script completely meaningless,” he said, before directly addressing the shredded pages: “Bye, dead jokes.”
In the revamped Closer Look segment, Meyers recounted Trump’s chaotic week before launching into a stinging and often times uproarious blow-by-blow takedown of the aforementioned presser.
Watch the clip above and then hit the comments with an answer to this question: Was this Meyers’ strongest Trump-era Closer Look yet?

People lobbed every question they could think of at G2A, and they didn’t skimp on the hostilities. Questions asked included, “Are you or are not not aware of how much harm you’ve done to the gaming industry?”, “If G2A is a legitimate company with legitimate keys and resellers, why can’t you offer buyer protection for free to your customers?”, and my personal favorite, “Which one of you thought that an AMA would go well on reddit, where so many people hate you?” G2A’s answers got downvoted so far that they had to tell users to change comment sorting in order to see them.
G2A tried to argue that developers don’t get hurt by their practices, and they have a strict verification process in place to maintain that. “Let’s clear that up. If the key is on G2A, that means that it came from the developer, which means they have already been paid,” G2A wrote. “If you want to buy that game on our marketplace, they won’t receive any additional money out of that (actually they could with G2A Direct, but let’s [not] go into that here).”
They also said they take the possibility of stolen keys (ones that are, for instance, purchased with stolen credit cards, after which developers get hit with charge-backs) very seriously.
“We have special departments in G2A (over 100 people) dedicated to protecting our marketplace,” G2A wrote. “We can’t disclose exactly how we search for these shady people, or what triggers our suspicions, because that would be giving them a possible roadmap as to how to try and get away with something. The problem is that sometimes the issue (unfortunately) starts on the developers’ own site, which can sometimes lack security. And in those situations, if the developer is not willing to work with us it gets a little complicated. In some situations, if a key was not reported to us as stolen and we weren’t told it was blacklisted or shown any proof, then there is little we can do.”
One user, however, went after G2A for that comment, seemingly contradicting G2A’s claims of difficult-to-bypass security entirely. They pointed out that getting a key verified isn’t difficult at all, and if you’ve done it before, you’re set indefinitely, meaning you could easily sell a few legit keys, then switch to selling non-legit ones. On top of that, keys seem to go up for sale immediately. G2A countered that the verification process happens behind the curtain, because they want it to be convenient. The user, however, then shared a screen of a key getting purchased almost immediately after it went up, before it received “verified” status. They then added a fake listing, which quickly passed the verification process, to drive the point home.
Instead of saying, “Oh shit, we should really patch up those holes,” like a reasonable service might, G2A responded by tracking down the user’s account and subjecting them to “stricter verification procedures.” What does this mean in practice? According to the user, “They blocked my ability to buy anything on G2A, basically when trying to purchase anything with my G2A wallet I receive ‘Transaction failed, user blocked’ and they also blocked my ability to pay out my money, basically they just stole all the money I have in my G2A wallet.”
Needless to say, other folks participating in the AMA didn’t love that. If you want to check out the full AMA, that’s here. Suffice it to say, G2A’s responses to concerns over illegitimate aspects of their business aren’t super convincing. We’ve heard about (and reported on) all sorts of fishiness wafting from G2A’s general direction, so probably steer clear for now.
