Riverdale season 4 premieres Wednesday, November 6 on The CW and Thursday, November 7 on Netflix worldwide. Once again, Cole Sprouse will be back as Jughead, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, KJ Apa as Archie and Camila Mendes as Veronica. Riverdale first aired in 2017 and since then, there have been a few relationships which have blossomed between the cast.
Cole Spouse and Lili Reinhart
Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart play lovebirds Jughead and Betty Cooper on Riverdale.
After months of fans hoping the actors would date in real life and the rumour began to fly when Spouse began to upload photos of Reinhardt on his Instagram, referring to her as his ‘muse’.
At the 2018 Met Gala, Spouse and Reinhardt went public with their relationship.
Since then, the couple has been sharing loved-up images of each other and commenting affectionately on each other’s Instagram posts.
In Riverdale, Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) have an on-off romance in the sow.
Much to fans’ disappointment, the pair are not dating in real life.
Apa has managed to keep his love life very private and was last publicly dating model Corinne Isherwood back in 2017, but they have since split.
This summer, Apa was linked to Tomorrowland actress Britt Robertson, after they were spotted holding hands and kissing at Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con Party, according to The Daily Mail.
Apa and Robertson worked together in the 2017 movie A Dog’s Purpose.
Riverdale season 4 premieres Wednesday, November 6 on The CW and Thursday, November 7 on Netflix.

Yet following the fraught drama of Emma Barton’s (played by Gillian Kearney) murder this Autumn, can anything else top the horrific scenes on the ITV soap?
Here’s what you can look forward to…
Lachlan White to murder his entire family
The most immediate plot to unfold on the ITV soap – fans are already aware that the Whites, which includes Chrissie (Louise Marwood), Rebecca (Emily Head) and Lawrence (John Bowe), have been axed by producers in an attempt to take a different direction.
Following the events of Christmas week that saw Lachlan’s (Thomas Atkinson) true despicable nature come to light once for all, Chrissie is determined to sabotage her son’s relationship with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) so that the owners of Home Farm can finally up sticks and move to Australia.
But new spoilers reveal that the out-of-control psychopath will be so distraught from the break-up that he may end up killing his entire family, including baby Seb, in a horrific car crash during scenes that will air in January.

While the fiery incident involving the Whites could very well wipe out the entire family, it also stands to reason that Robert’s (Ryan Hawley) innocent child and beacon of hope could be the only one to survive the tragic ordeal.
Not so long ago, Robert’s on-off lover and husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) insisted he would never be able to raise another woman’s baby, especially with the ever-constant reminder of the betrayal, but without an infant to focus on, will the former fall back into his old ways?

So what will that mean for the couple given executive producer Iain MacLeod’s “promise” to reunite Emmerdale’s star-crossed lovers by the summer? Delicious drama ahead, probably.
Speaking about his excitement for “Robron”’s second stab at getting married, Danny revealed: “Iain has promised that it’ll be a bigger do than in The Woolpack, so me and Ryan are gagging for it to happen in Vegas!
“But Aaron’s got a criminal record, so that would be difficult. It would be nice to have a big, happy, gay wedding, where nothing goes wrong, but we’ll have to see,” he teased.

Emmerdale: Will Moira Barton get away with killing Emma?
Moira Barton to get away with Emma’s murder
Moira (Natalie J. Robb) has been put through the ringer this year, what with her daughter Holly’s (Sophie Powles) drug overdose and realising that she was pregnant during the night of the deadly barn fire only to have her newborn son Isaac then kidnapped by an unhinged Emma.
But despite the monumental moment the soap revealed that Moira had actually been the one to push Emma off the bridge, another shocking twist saw Moira’s eldest son Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) take the fall for her impulsive mistake.
Given the latter actor’s confirmed departure this year, it appears that bosses are keen to keep a place for Moira, by any means possible.

Cain and Moira to get back together
While some fans have enjoyed seeing Vicar Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and bad-boy Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) unexpected relationship last year, hardcore viewers are desperate for farmer Moira to get her happy ending.
A few weeks ago writer Iain confirmed that while there may still be a way to go, “Coira” will come out the other side even stronger as their child brings them closer together.
“There’s always hope for Coira!” He enthused to TV Times. “I believe they’re meant to be together and deep down, so do the characters but a lot of water is under the bridge. If Cain is trying to move on with Harriet, having a kid with the love of his life will make it massively complicated.”

The ex-police officer continues to struggle with her duty to God and justice with her deepening feelings for troubled hard-man Cain, but will the knowledge of Moira’s part in Emma’s death and Cain’s intent to cover it up be the final straw?
Harriet already threatened to leave the dales once before following her initial split with Cain, hinting at another job lined up in Oxford.
With the seed already sown, and the knowledge that an innocent man continues to suffer unnecessarily in prison, will Harriet finally give Cain an ultimatum that sets the cogs in motion for “Coira”’s reunion? Or will her exit be a more explosive affair?

Emmerdale: Tom Waterhouse will surely have his plan exposed in the ITV soap
Tom Waterhouse’s plan exposed – is he behind the plot to uproot the Dingles?
The billionaire hunk Tom Waterhouse (Ned Porteous) arrived on the soap with an axe to grind and a secret agenda, but sadly Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) became swept up in his smouldering gaze and wounded soul before she could get to the truth.
Tom’s seeming connection to his girlfriend’s mother Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) puts another spanner in the works, and many fans are convinced that Tom is the one behind the devastating plans to build over the iconic Dingle land.
Whatever the truth, viewers can be sure they won’t have too much longer to wait.

Gemma Atkinson’s character Carly Hope to return
Viewers will recall that Carly broke fan-favourite Marlon Dingle’s (Mark Charnock) heart when she left the village earlier this year to have another go with her ex-boyfriend Matt.
But while actress Gemma has been supremely busy with her role on BBC competition Strictly Come Dancing of late, now the series is over the 33-year-old hinted she will return.
“Carly Hope will go back at some point,” she told Digital Spy ahead of the launch. “But I might want a holiday at the end of Strictly.”

When people are looking for movies to watch during the Halloween season, their eyes are often turned to the Horror genre. But what about the other emotional aspects of what many (including yours truly) considers “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”? And more importantly, what about…love?
That’s right, All Hallow’s Eve can be quite the time for some romance to be in the air! From doomed couples to those who found love because of their quirks and oddities, this holiday of monsters and ghouls can be a great time to explore some of cinema’s greatest (and spookiest) romances.
Morticia and Gomez Addams, The Addams Family
It’s hard to discuss Halloween without mentioning these two haunting lovebirds. Though the Addams Family series is certainly one more for laughs than for the traditional creepy creeps of the season, it’s always nice to see a couple that really accepts each other for who they are, frights and all. From the lovely tango dances that happen every few hours to the auctions that take their breath away to the nightly strolls through the graveyard – Morticia and Gomez make anything look romantic and glamourous.
For the few that don’t know of the existence of the Addams Family, the film adaptations are based on a famous cartoon series by Charles Addams and the ’60’s TV series of the same name, following the shenanigans of a family that finds the beauty in the creepy and spooky aspects of life. Though the cinematic version is focused on finding Gomez’s long lost brother Fester, what viewers look forward to seeing the most is the magical on-screen spark between Anjelica Houston and the late Raul Julia as the leaders of theclan.
Obviously, there’s a reason that many a meme and social media post is made in honor of the relationship goals these two unique individuals have set for fictional (and real life) couples alike – because they embrace every bit of their weirdness and are proud of their love. And aren’t we all looking for that, regardless of the time of year?
Wallace and Jennifer, I Married A Witch
Have you ever felt like you’re just cursed in the ways of love? That no matter who you meet or what you try to do, it never works out? Well, Wallace Wooley (Fredric March) might just be the champion for all of us who have been unlucky in love – except he has an actual excuse for the matter! You see, many years ago, Wallace’s multi-great grandfather was cursed by a family of witches to never find true love, and neither would his male heirs. But when thunder strikes and breaks the tree that the witch family’s souls were tied to (including Veronica Lake’s Jennifer), the true insanity begins.
From love potions gone wrong, to the hilarious yet all too real political humor, I Married a Witch has a story and a couple that hits all the right spots. Neither Wallace or Jennifer are perfect individuals, and even though at times they can be insufferable to watch when we’re first introduced to their odd ways, you end up rooting for them to win against the odds of magic and real world struggles alike. When you learn that Lake and March didn’t get along on set at all, their infectious chemistry becomes all the more amazing.
Jennie and Eben, Portrait of Jennie (1948)
Everyone loves a good ghost story, especially one that is made with such care and compassion as the underrated classic Portrait of Jennie. Starring Jennifer Jones and Joseph Cotton, this is a film that was clearly decades ahead of its time. Take a bit of time travel, art, and lots of sentimentality, and you got this David O. Selznick production that still looks as beautiful as ever.
The story tells of a painter that encounters a young girl in Central Park, who becomes the subject of his art. Through their various meetings, even through a short span of time, Jennie appears to become slightly more mature. Eventually, the artist falls so madly in love with the girl and wants to marry her, but she continues to tell him “Wait till I am older.” With her sudden change in age, plus the haunting look in her face whenever the sea is shown to her or brought to her attention, something isn’t right.
But what is right here is the romance. Truly, if there ever was a movie to stand as a perfect 101 on how to create mysteriously haunting romantic tales, this one will always nail it. Jones and Cotten portray this couple in such unique way. Because of the changing age gap between the two, their dynamic and chemistry always seems to shift. Their passions intensify, as does the conflict between them. It’s a journey that still rings true, no matter when you view this spooky tale.
The Orville‘s crew has seen a lot of stars in their explorations of outer space… but maybe never one this big before.
Oscar winner Charlize Theron guest-stars on next Thursday’s episode (Fox, 9/8c) as Pria, the captain of a stranded spaceship who gets rescued by Ed (Seth MacFarlane) and his shipmates. And in the sneak peek posted above, Pria seems to charm the crew pretty quickly, even planting a kiss on Ed’s cheek. (Jealous yet, Kelly?) But maybe the new arrival’s intentions aren’t all that pure: We later see Ed commanding Pria, “Give me back my ship”… and Pria just glowering at him in response.

“I think we do get a little underestimated,” executive producer Sarah Watson, a vet of Parenthood, tells TVLine. “I think people just thought [the show] was going to be a little less substantive… [and] trite, and so that’s probably been the biggest misconception. People thought it might be preachy because, obviously, we have these empowered female characters.”
Instead, the feminist series (airing Tuesdays at 9/8c) has given viewers at least five very good reasons to tune in:
GIRLS ARE A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND | The supportive friendship between the central trio — newly promoted writer Jane (Faking It‘s Katie Stevens), free-spirited social media boss Kat (Chasing Life‘s Aisha Dee) and determined fashion assistant Sutton (Political Animals‘ Meghann Fahy) — is “the heart and soul of the show,” Watson says. (After all, it doesn’t get much more supportive than Kat trying to get a stuck Yoni egg out of BFF Jane’s vagina.) “The inclination with any group of friends, but probably particularly with women, is that the drama should come from them turning on each other and backstabbing each other, and that’s just not how life is,” Watson argues. “That’s not how my friendships are. If anyone has friendships like that, I would like to highly suggest you go get new friends, because the beauty of life is that your friends are there to face the drama with you.” So while Jane, Kat and Sutton may argue sometimes, “they are always going to have each other’s backs.”
NO DEVIL IN PRADA | Just like its staffers aren’t rivals, Scarlet magazine’s editor-in-chief Jacqueline (Transparent‘s Melora Hardin) is not a clichéd dragon-lady boss. “[People] expected her to be a Miranda Priestly,” Watson notes. Instead, the EP drew on her first meeting with Hearst Magazines COO and former Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Joanna Coles, whose life is the inspiration for the series, and the “professional respect” Coles’ employees had for her. Thus, Jacqueline takes on a “nurturing and mentoring” role in her underlings’ lives.
REAL WOMEN, REAL ISSUES | This Tuesday’s installment tackles the BRCA gene test debate, which hits very close to home for Jane, whose mother died at a young age from breast cancer. “I am really excited and proud of [the episode] because BRCA gene mutation testing is something that still is so new that women in their 20s haven’t really had women in their 20s before them to share their experiences,” Watson notes. Meanwhile, Kat is on a mission to free the nipple as part of a breast health awareness campaign. “Somebody [on staff] had read an article about how in New York City, anywhere a man can go topless, a woman can go topless,” Watson shares. “We just thought that was so funny and delightful.”
BOLDLY IN LOVE |Scarlet‘s ladies are all about self-empowerment, but that doesn’t mean there can’t also be time for romance. For Kat, who is questioning her sexuality after meeting lesbian artist Adena, “we definitely want to play it real,” Watson says. “We didn’t want to get them together too quickly, because Kat is a girl who has the air of being the most confident of the three of them. But deep down, she’s actually the most insecure and probably knows herself the least.”
Being in a secret relationship with board member Richard (Mad Men‘s Sam Page), Sutton will “struggle [with] dating a guy you work with [who is also] in a more powerful position than you, and how that becomes complicated.”
Jane, meanwhile, is still having fun with men’s-mag writer Ryan, aka Pinstripe (Reign‘s Dan Jeannotte), “who just challenges her and knocks her off her game a little bit and drives her insane,” Watson describes. “But she’s also a girl with an idea about the kind of guy she is supposed to date… We’ll see her, in some ways, be her own worst enemy in that, and maybe jumping to some conclusions that aren’t necessarily real.”
LIKE TOTALLY YOUNGER| If The Bold Type sounds like the magazine-publishing cousin of TV Land’s book-publishing comedy Younger, well, that’s fine by Watson. “I see similarities because it’s capturing that time in your life” in your 20s, and both shows are “about strong female friendships,” she says. Plus, “Younger is a fantastic show, so if people want to compare us to that, awesome!” And Watson’s got the perfect crossover pitch: “In my dream world, Jane would want to publish a book, and Kelsey would publish it for Millennial.”
