“Of course he’s not going to please all his own party, he can’t please all his own country, he’ll never please Femi because Femi is passionate about remaining in the European Union,” Pierce added.

“The deal is done and most people will wake up this morning and be relieved that’s the case.”

Oluwole replied: “It’s funny that you mention public consent. As I mentioned you’ve got many contingents of those who voted Brexit who oppose the deal, DUP, the Brexit Party…”

Interrupting, Pierce said: “We had a referendum in 2016…”

‘Clearly you’re a Remainer!’ Gina Miller confronted on concealing anti-Brexit motives https://briefnews.eu/clearly-youre-a-remainer-gina-miller-confronted-on-concealing-anti-brexit-motives/ https://briefnews.eu/clearly-youre-a-remainer-gina-miller-confronted-on-concealing-anti-brexit-motives/#respond Tue, 29 Oct 2019 16:24:51 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/clearly-youre-a-remainer-gina-miller-confronted-on-concealing-anti-brexit-motives/

Gina Miller was accused of trying to conceal the genuine motive behind her attempts to take Brexit to court, in a tense clash on ITV‘s Loose Women. The anti-Brexit campaigner was confronted with the claim that she was “clearly a Remainer”. Loose Women panellist Jane Moore said that her Remainer allegiances made her court battles over Brexit partisan.

Ms Miller was confronted with her previous claim that the result of the 2016 referendum had made her “physically sick”.

Moore told the lawyer and campaigner: “There are so many things with Parliament that you could have gone to court over.

“John Major prorogued Parliament, so on, so on. So, why this? The argument with you, is that when the Brexit vote came through, it made you feel physically sick.

“So, everyone goes you’re clearly a Remainer, and you’re trying to stop the Brexit vote.”

Ms Miller responded: “I didn’t stop the Brexit vote, because the MPs voted to pass Article 50 – even though I wish they had debated it first.”

The investment manager shot to fame in 2016 for ensuring MPs had a vote on triggering Article 50.

She took the Govenrment to court to force them to give MPs a vote on invoking Article 50 and triggering the Brexit process.

She told ITV: “It is what it says in the law. All the other member-states would say, you did that illegally. We won’t trade with you now, we won’t deal with you.”

Jane Moore interrupted: “But that wouldn’t happen would it? Germany would never say, we are not going to sell you cars?”

Moore added: “You have got 17.4 million who knew exactly what they voted for, who knew what leave meant.

“Three and a half years later, we have politicians bickering over the finer points.”

Ms Miller also responded to the news that Jeremy Corbyn had decided to back an early election.

Mr Corbyn told reporters that he was “totally determined” to win it after deciding that the threat of a no deal Brexit was “off the table”.

When the news broke during Loose Women, Ms Miller instantly responded: “Finally!”

In September, Ms Miller won a landmark Supreme Court case establishing that Boris Johnson’s suspension of Parliament was unlawful.

‘You are the biggest snowflake!’ Piers Morgan confronts Remainer Femi in fiery clash https://briefnews.eu/you-are-the-biggest-snowflake-piers-morgan-confronts-remainer-femi-in-fiery-clash/ https://briefnews.eu/you-are-the-biggest-snowflake-piers-morgan-confronts-remainer-femi-in-fiery-clash/#respond Tue, 09 Jul 2019 10:46:41 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/you-are-the-biggest-snowflake-piers-morgan-confronts-remainer-femi-in-fiery-clash/

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan clashed with a Remain campaigner over Sir Kim Darroch’s leaked memos. Donald Trump attacked Britain on Monday evening, taking aim at Theresa May saying it is “good news” the UK will soon have a new Prime Minister. The US President also said he would no longer deal with Sir Kim, after leaked private memos in which the ambassador hits out at Mr Trump.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Femi Oluwole defended the UK ambassador to the US, insisting he is “hired for his judgement,” before a huge spat broke out on the show.

He said: “His judgement is that Donald Trump is incompetent.”

GMB host Mr Morgan replied: “If his judgement is to put that kind rhetoric in writing with his personal rudeness about the President, his judgement as a diplomat is done. Finished.”

The Remain campaigned said he was “amazed” Mr Morgan used the word “snowflakes” to describe people, when the US President was having a “massive hissy fit”.

Mr Morgan replied: “Donald Trump as we know is very thin-skinned. Oddly he is also very thick-skinned.

“It makes him somebody, if he is attacked, he will attack back. I don’t blame him either with Sadiq Khan or this.”

But, the Remain campaigner was quick to mock the US President, saying: “Oh what by saying ‘he’s not coming to my party anymore’”.

The response sparked a scathing response from the Good Morning Britain host.

“While I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent state visit last month, it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!”

The Foreign Office has begun an investigation after it emerged Sir Kim had said the US President was “insecure”, “inept” and ran a “uniquely dysfunctional” White House in private memos that have been leaked.

Downing Street said Mrs May has “full faith” in the UK’s ambassador to the US after the huge breach in confidentiality.

The Prime Minister’s official spokesman told a Westminster briefing on Monday morning: “The Prime Minister has full faith in her ambassador to Washington. Our ambassadors provide honest, unvarnished assessments of politics in their country, those views are not necessarily the views of ministers or indeed of the Government.

“As the Foreign Secretary has said, this leak is not acceptable. We would expect such advice to be handled in the correct way and a leak inquiry has been launched.”

ITV GMB: Richard Madeley doesn't know where to look as viewers outraged at NAKED Remainer https://briefnews.eu/itv-gmb-richard-madeley-doesnt-know-where-to-look-as-viewers-outraged-at-naked-remainer/ https://briefnews.eu/itv-gmb-richard-madeley-doesnt-know-where-to-look-as-viewers-outraged-at-naked-remainer/#respond Tue, 12 Feb 2019 13:43:27 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/itv-gmb-richard-madeley-doesnt-know-where-to-look-as-viewers-outraged-at-naked-remainer/

Good Morning Britain was hosted by Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley today and viewers tuned in to see the show discuss the latest on Brexit.

But it was a discussion with a difference as joining them in the studio was Dr Victoria Bateman, a naked Brexit protestor and Henry Newman, the Director at Open Europe.

Scenes aired on national television saw Dr Victoria sit in the studio completely naked, with no clothes on to cover her modesty, however Good Morning Britain had made the decision to blur out her body parts and only show from her shoulders upwards

Instead she had the words ‘Brexit leaves Britain naked’ written across her body and for the hosts of the morning show, it was an awkward interview.

Whilst Kate explained how her choice to campaign was “shocking”, Richard commented: “As the only male presenter here, I don’t find it at all shocking, it’s unusual it’s a bit strange but it’s not shocking or rude.”

He added the crew’s  main problem had been where to put the microphone.

As for those who were watching at home, they took too Twitter in masses to discuss Dr Victoria’s method of getting a message heard. One said: “This is a very intelligent woman, what the hell is she up to being naked? #GMB.”

“This naked lady says women don’t have a voice, sorry but women who fought for us to vote wore respectful clothing, yes they really wore all their clothes so we could vote which is amazing, we do have a voice, no need to be naked #GMB,” another pointed out.

A third questioned: “@GMB How will this make a difference?” Whilst another added: “She is more about her body rather than the actual argument… every answer was “my body” not Brexit.”

“Pure stunt! No way would any man be allowed to do the same stunt. She has said nothing that hasn’t already been said!” A viewer mentioned.

“The intention was to have a serious discussion on BREXIT instead the main topic was hijacked by her nudity,” one remarked.

“@GMB I honestly could not believe what I was watching! Such an important issue on Brexit and GMB have this nudist debating about her body!!! Really!!! Complete waste of air time! There’s far more pressing things GMB can are on TV! So disappointed!!!” An outraged viewer expressed.

Some however praised her courage to bare all on national television.

One tweeted: “@GMB Good on her to be brave enough to do what she does. Also what she is going is getting everyone talking.”

“This was actually brilliant idc. Victoria Bateman is a modern day Lady Godiva for sure,” a second championed.

As for why Dr Victoria decided to protest naked in order to get her message heard she explained the detailed reason behind her visual metaphor.

“The key message that I have to deliver is Brexit is the new emperor’s clothes, that what high profile Brexiteers promised Brexit voters is just not possible to deliver,” she began.

How will this make a difference?

Twitter user.

Opposing her view was Henry Newman, who called her argument a “stunt” and agreed with some who called her an exhibitionist.

“No, I am not an exhibitionist,” the doctor clearly stated. “I am a woman comfortable in my own body who is happy to use my body to deliver an important message.”

Henry hit back and said: “I haven’t heard a new argument. The points you make about the economic risks of leaving were spoke about back in 2016.”

When asked if the stunt had drawn new focus to Brexit, Henry said: “It’s embarrassing”.

“Brexit has serious questions, I don’t think it is serious to be naked,” he concluded.

“The British economy faces many, many problems right now – shortage of housing, problems with the NHS, wages stagnating, too many people up and down the country using food banks.

“But the European Union is not the cause of those problems. How is Brexit going to help us solve those problems that are at the heart of our daily struggles up and down the country?”

It comes after Dr Victoria Bateman hit headlines when she invited Jacob Rees-Mogg to a ‘naked debate’.

The Cambridge economics profession challenged the Brexiteer Tory MP whilst appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme with John Humphrys last week.

She was initially seen wearing a coat which she then proceeded to take off in order to support her argument.

She told John: “I thought what I do was condense down all those thousands of words into a single simply message that Brexit leaves Britain naked.

“There’s nothing illegal about it, it’s perfectly fine to be in a studio like that. I don’t think it’s out of character for me. I don’t think a radio show or a TV show would invite me on if they were adverse to me removing my clothes.”

Brexit U-TURN: Piers Morgan challenges former Remainer MP – 'why should we trust you? https://briefnews.eu/brexit-u-turn-piers-morgan-challenges-former-remainer-mp-why-should-we-trust-you/ https://briefnews.eu/brexit-u-turn-piers-morgan-challenges-former-remainer-mp-why-should-we-trust-you/#respond Mon, 21 Jan 2019 19:58:16 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/brexit-u-turn-piers-morgan-challenges-former-remainer-mp-why-should-we-trust-you/

Appearing on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, the Conservative Home Office minister was confronted by Piers Morgan on her 2016 pro-Remain campaign beliefs. Prior to the referendum, Ms Atkins claimed staying in the EU would mean “more jobs, lower prices and greater security”. But speaking to Piers Morgan today she admitted a good Brexit deal would deliver exactly the same things.

Mr Morgan said: “Two years ago you told us all when you were encoring us to vote Remain that staying in the EU would mean more jobs, lower prices and greater security.

“Now you’re telling us the complete opposite.

“Now you’re telling us that Brexit would mean more jobs, lower prices and greater security.

“So I put it to you that given you yourself clearly have actually no idea which one of these two things would be beneficial to this country, why should we trust any politicians like you to deliver anything beneficial to this country?”

The Tory MP replied she accepted to have been on the “losing side of the argument” and to want to keep the Government’s promise to deliver on the referendum result.

She said: “I was on the losing side of the argument, I’ve accepted that.

“And I said that I would honour the result of the referendum.”

The ITV host branded the admission a “shameless U-turn” on Twitter after the interview.

He wrote: “Takes a special kind of brass neck to perform so shameless a U-turn about such a major issue.”

Theresa May is expected to reveal her Brexit plan B to MPs in Parliament later today.

After the crushing defeat of her deal last week, the Prime Minister is unwilling to budge on her key demands and will be explaining how she intends to proceed in both oral and written statements to the House of Commons.

She will also table a “neutral” motion to be debated and voted on – along with any amendments tabled by MPs – on Tuesday, January 29.

This week will also see Mrs May reaching out to MPs, business leaders and trade unionists in an attempt to find a way forward, Government sources have confirmed.

'For goodness SAKE!' Farage orders Remainer Grieve to 'GROW UP' in heated Brexit spat https://briefnews.eu/for-goodness-sake-farage-orders-remainer-grieve-to-grow-up-in-heated-brexit-spat/ https://briefnews.eu/for-goodness-sake-farage-orders-remainer-grieve-to-grow-up-in-heated-brexit-spat/#respond Tue, 11 Dec 2018 15:35:23 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/for-goodness-sake-farage-orders-remainer-grieve-to-grow-up-in-heated-brexit-spat/

Dominic Grieve was warning about the consequences of a no deal when both Nigel Farage and Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan clashed with him. Former Ukip leader Farage claimed the objectives of the referendum were clear to leave both the single market and customs union. Conservative MP and former Attorney General Mr Grieve stepped in, warning about the consequences of Britain leaving without a deal.

He said: “It is useless talking in those terms.

“If you are really going to crashing out with absolutely no deal, people can’t take the plane the following day.”

The remark sparked a furious row with Farage bursting out shouting “for goodness sake”, followed by adding: “grow up!”

host Mr Morgan stepped in claiming concerns over aviation post-Brexit were a “myth”.

He said: “I had breakfast with somebody who runs one of the major airlines in this country who told me it is complete nonsense.

“It is a myth. It is as true as the £350million a week on the bus, it is a scaremongering myth. Planes would not stop flying.”

Conservative MP Mr Grieve replied: “I’m sorry, it’s wrong.”

Former Ukip leader interrupted again asking whether Britons would “starve as well” and whether “drinking water would be no good”.

Mr Grieve snapped back: “Either you get peripheral deals, which you may get very easily. If you are really talking about crashing out with absolutely no agreement of anything at all there will be lots of things which will happen, which people don’t want.

“I don’t want to talk about the Armageddon, what I want to talk about is some rational way forward.

“Nigel simply saying ‘Leave means Leave means Leave’, does not answer the question.”

The debate comes following Prime Minister Theresa May opting to postpone the meaningful vote on her Brexit agreement in fear of a humiliating defeat.

Mrs May spoke with her cabinet colleagues via a conference call on Monday before later addressing the Commons and announcing the delay. Speaking in the Commons, Mrs May asked MPs the fundamental question: “Does this House want to deliver Brexit?”

Up to 100 Conservative MPs were reportedly considering voting against the Prime Minister’s agreement, with many angry at the backstop element of the Withdrawal Agreement which threatens to keep the UK tied into the EU’s customs union indefinitely.

SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon urged Jeremy Corbyn to call a motion of no confidence in the Government and for them to team up to resolve Brexit for the UK.

She tweeted: “So Jeremy Corbyn – if Labour, as official opposition, lodges motion of no confidence in this incompetent government tomorrow, the SNP will support & we can then work together to give people the chance to stop Brexit in another vote. This shambles can’t go on – so how about it?”

The Prime Minister travelled to Europe on Tuesday to try to gain concessions from the bloc on her EU deal. Mrs May will have another chance to make her case during an EU leaders summit on Thursday.

President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker tweeted: “I will meet Theresa May this evening in Brussels. I remain convinced that the #Brexit deal we have is the best – and only – deal possible. There is no room for renegotiation, but further clarifications are possible.”

British actress and political activist Natascha is well-known for her popularity in US film and television, and now the star is returning home for a foray into space drama The First, which premieres on Channel 4 Thursday, November 1.

Appearing on ITV programme This Morning, the actress shared details on the exciting new project, which also stars Hollywood high-flyer Sean Penn.

But Natascha was keen to share the other important aspect of her career right now, which is helping the People’s Vote campaign continue to grow.

Speaking to guest presenters Rylan Clark-Neal and Amanda Holden about the London march which she attended, Natascha shared: “We felt quite victorious, it was great and it started the debate.”

“It was electrifying,” she said in reference to the sheer numbers that showed up for the demonstration. “700,000 and I think they [only] predicted 100,000.”

“I started the debate and people feel very passionately either way even if they voted leave,” Natascha continued. “People who have now changed their minds – we’ve now started to recruit people who feel that maybe they were lied to.”

The star went on to say she’s getting “excited” about the figures, and she’s even gotten her son involved in the campaign.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared their anger over the segment, and in particular the idea of “recruiting” British people who voted to leave the European Union.

One person blasted: “Interesting to hear her use the word ‘recruit’ when talking about getting people on the Brexit march.

“What do these thick people not understand? It’s not about being lied to, it’s about controlling immigration and making our own laws. Simple #ThisMorning.”

“It was going ok til she came out as a remoaner, boring! #thismorning,” another shared.

A third fumed: “#thismorning Stop letting stupid people keep going on about staying in the f*****g EU people’s vote what a load of s**t. The people had their vote, accept it you morons and wind your necks in.

“The only way the ‘people’s vote’ march would have had an impact,” a fourth began, “is if it was in Yorkshire, or Newcastle or somewhere.

“It just looked like a lot of posh Londoners kicking off. Eventually they’ll have to leave London. #ThisMorning #itvThisMorning.”

Not everyone felt the same, as one person responded: “Calm your tits, pal. People are entitled to an opinion, even if you don’t like it. #ThisMorning.”

“Can’t wait to see #TheFirst it looks bloody brilliant #ThisMorning,” another excited fan praised.

While a third joked: “Natascha McElhone looks exactly the same as she did in The Truman Show.

“HOW??!! It was over 20 years ago! #ThisMorning.”

'It's NOT true!' Remainer faces BRUTAL response from Wetherspoons boss in heated debate https://briefnews.eu/its-not-true-remainer-faces-brutal-response-from-wetherspoons-boss-in-heated-debate/ https://briefnews.eu/its-not-true-remainer-faces-brutal-response-from-wetherspoons-boss-in-heated-debate/#respond Fri, 22 Jun 2018 11:56:08 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/its-not-true-remainer-faces-brutal-response-from-wetherspoons-boss-in-heated-debate/

The young Remainer, co-founder of anti-Brexit campaign group “Our Future, Our Choice!”, claimed any pro- argument has been “dismantled” by negative reports on Britain’s exit from the .

The furious Wetherspoons founder tore into the Remainer claim and reminded him that Brexit doom claims are simply “not true”.

Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, the exchange began when Mr Dry said: “Now, I think a lot of people in the country are fed up with about people who do not realise that the case for leaving has been kind of dismantled.

“Because more and more events, day by day, are happening which weaken the case for leaving.

“Take Airbus today – that’s 14,000 jobs. That’s 110,000 jobs when you include the supply chain, that’s £1.7billion they contribute to the British taxpayer.

“That’s around a fifth of the money they pay to the EU is supposedly the Brexit dividend that is coming back.

“So please explain to me, Tim, how on earth, when all these companies are leaving and not going to be investing in this country, we are going to have more money after Brexit.”

The Brexiteer hit back and said the Project Fear claims were exaggerated. He said: “You would’ve heard at the time of the referendum forecast from the great and the good, like the one you’ve just mentioned, that we were going to lose 4 or 5 thousand jobs in the immediate aftermath of the vote – just voting to leave would frighten people.

“Actually, the country has created 400,000 jobs in the first year – more by now, I believe. Household income, in spite of the gloom, are at record highs. It was said that the bankers were all going to leave – that was the most major aspect of the Project Fear. They haven’t.

“Employment in the city has gone up. You’ll hear these things from people, particularly if they are trying to frighten people.

“Especially if EU linked business like Airbus and it’s just not true. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, they all do very well and they’re not in the EU.”

In response, the young Remain campaigner said: “We were told, essentially, Project Fear but now events have vindicated to an extent that I don’t feel Project Fear anymore, I just feel fear.”

Mr Martin blasted: “That’s just not true.”

The Remainer demanded “normal and regular people stand up” and say Brexit is a “complete mess”.

Airbus CEO Tom Williams warned on Friday the company could pull out of the UK with the loss of thousands of jobs in the event of a “no-deal” Brexit.

In a statement, the chief operating officer of Airbus Commercial Aircraft said Brexit would have “severe negative consequences for the UK aerospace industry and Airbus in particular” in any scenario.

He added: “Therefore, immediate mitigation measures would need to be accelerated.

“While Airbus understands that the political process must go on, as a responsible business we require immediate details on the pragmatic steps that should be taken to operate competitively.

“Without these, Airbus believes that the impacts on our UK operations could be significant.”

Mr Williams later told the BBC’s Today programme that thousands of Airbus jobs could be at risk if Britain has a no deal Brexit.

In response to the comments from the Airbus CEO, a Government spokeswoman said: “We have made significant progress towards agreeing a deep and special partnership with the EU to ensure trade remains as free and frictionless as possible, including in the aerospace sector, and we’re confident of getting a good deal that is mutually beneficial.

“Given the good progress that we are continuing to make in the negotiations, we do not expect a no-deal scenario to arise.

“The Government is working closely with companies to understand their concerns ahead of leaving the EU and alongside industry will invest almost £4 billion by 2026 to ensure the UK remains a world leader in civil aerospace.”

The multi-billionaire inventor of the Dyson vacuum cleaner is one of the largest landowners in the UK.

Keen to share his plans for a more innovative and technological future, Sir James took Countryfile presenter Tom across his hectares of land in Lincolnshire on the BBC series.

But despite admitting that he receives some of the largest subsidies from the EU in the UK, the open supporter of Brexit then revealed it isn’t a lucrative business.

Tom insisted the farmer would have the money to make mistakes in his new plans for a technological revolution in farming, one which would also result in a loss of jobs.

Revealing he’s got the “money to invest and think long-term,” Sir James appeared positive about the future of his agricultural business despite not being able to make money.

“No, producing food doesn’t make money overall we’re just about breaking even with the grant,” he revealed.

Having listened to the farmer’s views, viewers were distinctly unimpressed by the BBC’s decision to include the segment.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared their feelings.

One person wrote: “I see the BBC is pushing the #Brexit agenda on #countryfile. No surprise really.”

“Seriously whose idea was it to bring James Dyson onto #countryfile?!! Pro-Brexit claiming EU subsidies,” another viewer raged.

A third exclaimed: “Did #countryfile just say, ‘Can the multi-billionaire still be able to afford to farm??’ Not a question for a multi-billionaire.”

While a fourth claimed: “Well. Sir James Dyson you will be losing even more after the farming subsidy from the EU dries up after Brexit!! #Countryfile.”

Not everyone felt the same however, as some fans were happy the BBC hit show was sharing different views.

“Wow! A positive slant on Brexit from Countryfile! We’re getting there, slowly #countryfile,” one person tweeted.

While another viewer blamed the presenter for showing an apparent political bias towards the inventor, saying: “#Tomheap #countryfile stop your stupid political comments on #brexit.”

Carrying on quizzing the farmer, Tom asked whether Sir James’s continuation to receive grants from the EU was “in tune with the government’s view of farming post-Brexit”, but the latter claimed there was no other way.

“[I receive] two million [pounds], and no I’m not happy with it. Nobody’s happy to be receiving a grant.”

“If we can’t get the grants, we can’t grow food. We’ll have to think of something else to grow on the land,” he added simply.

Committed to showing the other side of the business for farmers working on a much smaller scale, Tom visited fourth generation farmer Colin Chappell 30 miles away from Sir James.

The farmer revealed that not only was the last harvest “appalling” but that the challenges he faced were only going to grow in the future.

Countryfile continues Sunday at 7pm on BBC ONE.

McGovern and Brexit supporter and Conservative MP Kwasi Kwarteng joined Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on the show today after last night’s news that the House of Commons have backed an amendment which will give parliament a vote on the Brexit deal.

“Do you still describe yourself as a Remainer?” the Good Morning Britain presenter quizzed McGovern.

“I don’t think we should define ourselves in those terms anymore,” she replied cautiously, before Reid, 47, cut her off exclaiming: “That’s exactly how all the papers are defining them!”

“I think we’ve had a general election since the referendum,” McGovern explained. “I describe myself as somebody who is pro European and proud to be so.”

Reid, however, wasn’t satisfied, persisting: “Are you committed to Brexit?

“You voted to defeat the government on this,” she added.

“Yeah, because we’ve got to have a good process,” the Labour politician insisted. “The country has been very divided and we’ve got to have a process that everyone can understand and take part in and believe in.”

“Are you trying to stop Brexit?” Reid probed.

“The country decided to leave the European Union and whilst it wasn’t my choice, we have to do it now,” she replied, staying firm under the GMB host’s interrogation. “We’ve had a general election where Theresa May put her version of Brexit to the public and she didn’t win an overwhelming majority.

“So that puts us in kind of difficult position because we have to work out a way forward which brings people together.”

Kwarteng, however, revealed his view on the Tory rebels who chose to back the amendment, saying: “I don’t know what their motives are but certainly a lot of people watching will be thinking that this is just another way of trying to reverse the decision last year and keep us in the EU.

“It’s no surprise that all the 11 rebels were very, very firm campaigners for the Remain side and a lot of them feel very aggrieved and very upset that we voted to leave the EU,” he added.
