Or Michael. Or Rafael.
The telenovela-inspired soap has played up its central love triangle for five seasons, leaving fans sharply divided on whether Jane’s baby daddy or her onetime husband is her soulmate.
While Jane may have already made her pick on the show, is it ever really over? TVLine is breaking down the reasons why each fella is worthy of Jane’s love, then asking you to pick the perfect guy for the gal.
THE CASE FOR RAFAEL | You could say Jane and Rafael’s relationship was fated: After all, when Jane was accidentally artificially inseminated with his sperm, it brought the characters back together years after a summer crush. Under very strange circumstances, what started as two people forced into an unconventional family grew into a physical attraction and then a true friendship, which begot a deeper romance. Throughout the many stages of their relationship, Rafael supported Jane’s dreams and pushed her to be brave, while she inspired him to be better. Through marriages and deaths and jail time, the pair kept finding their way back to each other, as if their love was meant to be. And there’s no denying that Rafael and Jane have smokin’ hot chemistry.
THE CASE FOR MICHAEL | The sweet, affable detective swept Jane off her feet with his sincere personality and slightly dorky (but in a good way!) sense of humor. While waiting for marriage to have sex might have sent other guys running, Michael patiently waited and respected his girlfriend’s boundaries. And though he initially freaked out when Jane announced she was pregnant with Rafael’s baby — can you really blame him? — he knew that what he had with Jane could withstand even the strangest of circumstances, and stood by her. Plus, Jane married the guy, so doesn’t that kind of say it all? If he hadn’t “died” and lost his memory, we’re betting they’d still be together.
Who do you think Jane should be with? Cast your vote via the poll below, then hit the comments to back up your pick!

Djokovic was at his defiant best as he withstood the breathtaking shot-making from Juan Martin Del Potro over three pulsating sets.
The Serbian did not play his best tennis but the quality of his returning regularly gave Del Potro problems on serve.
With 80 per cent of returns in play, Djokovic’s depth and accuracy was impeccable.
And with 53 errors coming from the Argentine’s forehand, the 2009 US Open was unable to make the most of his chances.
With victory at Wimbledon in July and now the US Open, Djokovic has the strongest claim to be the best player in the world.
And his performances over the past few months will be an ominous warning to Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and the rest of men’s tennis.
Djokovic said: “I think winning a slam, any slam, gives you huge confidence that you carry with you for a certain period of time.
“Obviously tough thing about our schedule is that we have Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and US Open condensed within four or five months.
“At the same time, good thing about it is if you win Wimbledon or French, then you have another slam, and you can thrive on that confidence level that you got from winning the previous slam.
“So maybe that’s one of the reasons why I’ve managed to do so well after winning Wimbledon and doing so well here in New York.”
This was Djokovic’s third US Open title and the 14th Grand Slam of his career.
It puts him level with Pete Sampras in the all-time list and the 31-year-old spoke openly about how much it means to equal his idol.
He said: “Pete Sampras is one of the biggest legends ever to play the game.
“He was my childhood idol. He was someone I was looking up to.
“The first actual thing I saw related to tennis on the TV was his first or second Wimbledon championship. That inspired me to start playing tennis.
“There is a lot of significance of me being now shoulder to shoulder in terms of Grand Slam wins with him.
“It’s truly incredible when you think about it. I watched him win one of his first Wimbledon championships, and I grew up playing and thinking that one day I’ll be able to do what he does.
“To actually be here, it’s a dream come true.”
At the end of the match, an emotional Del Potro was consoled by Djokovic.
It was Del Potro’s first Grand Slam final since he won the US Open in 2009 largely due to multiple surgeries on his wrist.
But with those concerns now largely gone he is highly motivated to win titles and make up for lost time.
He said: “My wrist is responding good, because I’ve been playing a lot of matches in these two weeks.
“I feel good with my two-handed backhands, as well. I will keep playing tennis for a few more years.
“I don’t know when will be my last tournament in this career, but I’m excited to keep surprising myself doing things like this.
“I’m very motivated to keep trying to win these titles.”
Nadal was forced to call it a day at two sets down against Juan Martin del Potro during the semi-final in the early hours of the morning.
The Spaniard has now had to withdraw from two Grand Slams this year due to injury as his knee problems continue to torment his career.
He twice needed medical attention before conceding at Flushing Meadows, sending Del Potro into the final for the first time since 2009 where he will face Novak Djokovic.
“It was difficult for me to keep playing. I was in too much pain,” said the 32-year-old Spaniard.
“It was one player playing and one on the other side of the court. I hate retiring – but to stay one more set out there playing like that is too much for me.”
He was visibly emotional on court knowing his chance of an 18th Grand Slam was gone.
And in the press conference after he was asked if playing on hard courts was difficult because of his condition.
All the Spaniard could muster in response was: “It’s okay” before tearing up.
Nadal won the US Open last year and has won four slams on the hard courts in New York and Australia.
But the 32-year-old insists he has to constantly manage his body and stresses the current injury is not one that will need much recovery, just careful management.
“Just about do treatment,” he said when asked about the recovery process.
“Is not an injury that tells you three weeks off and you are back. Is not an injury that tells you six months off, you are back.
“Is maybe an injury that in one week you feel better, is an injury that maybe in six months you don’t feel better.
“I know what is going on with the knee. But the good thing is I know how I have to work to be better as soon as possible because we have a lot of experience on that.
“I am sure will not be the six months off. I was just making a comparison. Is not an injury like when you break something, something like this.
“It is an injury that is a tendinitis. Then is a decision about yourself, about if you want to wait till you feel almost nothing or you want to keep going with pain, so…
“Is not the moment to think.”
Nadal emerged back at the top of tennis last year winning the French Open and the US Open, his first slam victories in three years.
He remains in battle with Roger Federer at the top of the game but will not add to his slams for the year after winning at Roland Garros again.
He is due to play in the Davis Cup final next week when Spain take on France, but his participation is surely in doubt following the latest retirement.
His next scheduled tournament is Beijing at the start of October.
Nadal continues his Rogers Cup campaign tonight (1am UK time) with a quarter-final tie against sixth seed Marin Cilic.
The World No 1 has seen off Stan Wawrinka and Benoit Paire as he bids for his fourth success and first since 2013 in Toronto.
Nadal is looking to bounce back from losing the semi-finals at Wimbledon last month while the 17-time Grand Slam champion can also move further ahead of rival Roger Federer in the ATP standings with a strong run in the Canadian tournament.
Cilic has seen off compatriot Borna Coric and Diego Schwartzman and looked in strong form having won 12 of his last 14 matches.
Nadal has won five of his seven meetings with Cilic with the Croatian having taken a victory by virtue of Nadal’s injury-enforced retirement in the Australian Open quarter-finals back in January.
The 31-year-old Spaniard has lost just three matches since returning from injury at the Davis Cup in April having stormed to four of an available six titles across the clay and grass seasons.
Cilic is looking to reach the semi-finals for the first time ever as he targets a first title since the 2016 Cincinnati Masters and Nadal has acknowledged he must be at his best.
“The first thing that I need to do well is play my best tennis,” Nadal said previewing his contest with Cilic.
“Without playing well it will be impossible.
“Quarter-finals after two good victories, tomorrow is the day to play a little bit better and that’s what I’m going to try.”
But how can you watch as Nadal bids to reach the final four for the first time since he last won the tournament?
Sky Sports will be broadcasting every match live from the Rogers Cup and their Arena channel (Sky channel 408) will show all of the action.
Today’s play gets underway at 4pm on Sky Sports Arena – but Nadal and Cilic are not due on court until at least 11am (BST) following the other quarter-final between Robin Haase and Karen Khachanov.
Kevin Anderson and Stefans Tsitsipas have already booked their places in the semis, with the Greek having downed defending champion Alexander Zverev after eliminating Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic.
Sky’s coverage means all the action can be followed on your desktop or laptop via the Sky Go app, which if you’re an existing customer, is also available on iOS and Android smartphone and tablet devices.
Sky Go is also available on a number of platforms including Amazon Fire devices, iPad, Mac computers and laptops, Playstation 3, PS4 and Xbox One.
The Sky Sports app, available to download on iOS and Android devices, will also be providing live text coverage and updates.
If you’re not currently a Sky Sports customer but can’t stand to miss out on the action, you can add the channels to your box via a NOW TV subscription.
Day passes, which let you add Sky Sports channels for 24 hours, cost £7.99 a day, with a weekly pass priced at £12.99 and no locking into a contract.

In a match fitting enough to be the final, only one man can progress to try and don Roger Federer’s crown following the Swiss star’s shock quarter-final exit.
Nadal is in his first Wimbledon semi-final in seven years and he is hoping to end an eight-year drought at the All England Club.
Meanwhile, Djokovic can finally put his injury nightmares behind him by showing the world he is back to his best.
And Nadal knows he will be in for an extremely tough afternoon.
“It’s always is a big challenge face Novak,” Nadal said.
“It’s one of the more complex players that I ever saw on our sport. It’s always a big test.
“You know that you can’t win against him if you don’t play very well.
“But my goal is to try to play very well. I know in semi-finals of Wimbledon you will not have an easy opponent in front. You have to accept that if you want to win important things.
“Of course, you will face the best players. You need to be ready for it.”
5.45pm: Isner is 8-7 up in the final set with Anderson on serve. Both players resolute with their deliveries but one slip-up and this match will be over.
5.30pm: Good afternoon and welcome to Wimbledon where we are awaiting the heavyweight battle between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
John Isner and Kevin Anderson are about to wrap up their epic five-set match which has been ongoing for over four hours.
There will then be a half an hour break to put on the roof before Nadal and Djokovic take to the main stage here at the All England Club.
Djokovic, Federer and Nadal have won 48 Grand Slam titles between them while dominating tennis for well over a decade.
The trio are beginning to reach the latter end of their careers and are expected to be replaced by the next generation aces.
All three stars are competing at Wimbledon over the next fortnight in hope of winning one final grass Grand Slam title.
And following Djokovic’s first-round win, he was asked what advice he would give an up-and-coming youngster to get to the top of the world rankings.
“Well, it’s not that simple to put it into one phrase,” Djokovic said.
“First of all, you have to dream it, then live it, believe in it.
“You have to really be able to make that decision to devote, if not all, then most of your daily life to that.
“Tennis is an individual sport, it obviously makes it that much tougher to actually get to the biggest titles because you’re by yourself, so you have to take the, so to say, credit and the blame for winning or losing.
“At the same time it is a team sport in a way because, you know, creating a team of experts around you, a team of people that you trust, that contribute to the betterment of your performance in every sense of that word is something that is also crucial.
“There are certain stages of your life where you have to kind of, because of the costs and everything, not everyone has support of the Federation, so you have to kind of go through that with the support of your parents, whoever it is that is behind you.
“Sometimes by yourself to go through that futures, challenger levels, and try to build your way to the top 100 of the world where it’s a completely different, so to say, level of tennis.
“But, you know, a lot of things have to come together. It all starts and ends with your inner strength and inner power, your inner belief, how much you are really ready to kind of sacrifice and invest in that.”
Federer, who this week returned to action in Stuttgart after skipping the clay-court season, admitted that “the end is closer than ever before” but also that he still does not know when he will hang up his racket.
And his long-term rival Nadal has insisted that he will not suffer the drop-off in motivation John McEnroe experienced when his foe Bjorn Borg took early retirement.
“I would not talk about friendship. I have a fantastic relationship with Federer,” Nadal told Italian magazine IoDonna.
“But my motivation in the field does not change depending on who I’m facing.
“When you play you have to be cold. The only goal must be to overcome oneself.
“Because you can win or lose, but the only real satisfaction is to bring yourself beyond the limit.”
Nadal underlined his name in the history books once again last weekend by winning the French Open for an 11th time, beating Austria’s Dominic Thiem 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 at Roland Garros.
But the Spaniard subsequently hinted he would be taking a break from the game and pulled out of the Queen’s Club Championships citing doctors’ advice to rest.
Nadal is still expected to play at Wimbledon and challenge Federer, gunning for his eighth SW19 triumph, in the second week of the tournament.
But having turned 32 two weeks ago, Nadal also reflected that he did not expect to still be playing at this point in his career.
“As a boy I thought that at thirty I would have already retired and instead I’m still here,” Nadal added.
“The only thing I know is that I will have a family.
“Of course, I’m not alone.”
Nadal complained after his first round win over Simone Bolelli that the Court Philippe Chatrier was more slippery than he had ever played on in the past, despite winning in straight sets.
The match had to be played over two days with weather interrupting play during the third set of what proved to be the world No 1’s 80th Roland Garros win, Nadal post-match blasting the lack of “proper grip” and claiming there are “no excuses” for the conditions.
Del Potro took to Chatrier yesterday to see off Julien Benneteau in the second round, winning 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 against the home hope.
And the fifth-seeded Argentine – who has never got past the semi-finals of the Grand Slam in Paris – agreed with Nadal that the court was tricky to play on, although he admitted that the surface was better than a week ago.
“I think it’s okay, but it could be better,” Del Potro told journalists.
“With the days they are certainly going to improve this. And also, in the middle [of the match], it rained a little bit so it got a bit wet, and so it was a bit slower, and then the sun came out. It was a bit faster.
“But you have to compare with the days when we practiced a week ago. I can tell you the court has improved a lot.”
Del Potro played only four clay-court singles matches matches ahead of the French Open – winning once and losing once at both the Madrid Open and Italian Open.
That was after enjoying a break following the Miami Open after an exhaustive first-half of the season involved a 15-match winning streak and the defeat of Roger Federer in the Indian Wells Masters final.
Asked about the level of his tennis, the 29-year-old said: “Very well. I feel better than in the first round.
“I was able to make more wins, to run better. The level of my game was a bit higher.
“So this made me feel good, and I’m happy to know that I’m improving day after day, that the day after tomorrow [Saturday] I have another match to try and feel good.”
Del Potro faces Albert Ramos in the third round (tomorrow, 10am) and on his clash with the Spaniard, he added: “I believe as he’s left-handed, his forehand is his best stroke and my backhand is my best stroke.
“The Spaniards, they like to play long matches, so it’s going to be a difficult challenge.”
The Spaniard’s impressive run this spring was ended by Dominic Thiem in Madrid last week, and many expected Rome’s reigning champion Zverev to capitalise on his counterpart’s blip in form by winning his second tournament in as many weeks.
But Nadal was back to his best in the Italian capital this week, despite being put under serious pressure in Sunday’s final.
The 31-year-old wasted little time in the first set, sweeping past his German opponent by six games to one.
However, Zverev fought back in the second set, winning by the same scoreline.
And the Madrid champion gave Nadal a real fright in the deciding set, racing into a 3-1 lead before the rain delay halted proceedings.
But the world No 2 returned to the court in determined fashion, winning every game to secure a 6-3 third set victory.
The victory means Nadal has now won the Italian Open eight times.
“My first victory here in 2005 was one of the most beautiful victories of my career,” he said after his win.
“To have this trophy again with me after so many years is really very special.”
It means Nadal will now replace Federer at the top of the men’s rankings tomorrow morning heading into the French Open.
The Swiss tennis star will not compete at Roland Garros for the third consecutive year, meaning Nadal and Zverev will be the top two seeds.
Nadal has now won all clay-court tournaments this year, bar the Madrid Open, which went to Zverev.
And the 21-year-old admitted his final opponent was the best tennis player to ever grace the orange surface.
“First of all I want to congratulate Rafa,” Zverev told the Italian Open crowd.
“You’re an amazing champion and you proved that tonight.
“You’re the greatest clay-court player of all time, and everybody saw that today.
“Well done to the team, to the coaches, physios and uncle Toni, who played the biggest role in your career.
“Congratulations guys.”
The legendary duo, aged 36 and 31 respectively, are still dominating the sport despite being in the latter stages of their career.
The pair have won all five of the last five Grand Slams with Nadal the short-priced favourite to make it six at the French Open next month.
However, the Spaniard was downed by Dominic Thiem at the Madrid Open while Alexander Zverev and Denis Shapovalov have also impressed.
Sky Sports pundit Rusedski thinks it is too early for the domination to be broken this year but it could be a different story in 2019.
He said: “You have got to remember that Denis Shapovalov is 19 years of age. I can’t remember a 19-year-old with that sort of mentality already.
“It just shows you the potential that this youngster has.
“It’s almost like the new generation is starting to feel it’s way up. It’s like they’re thinking ‘we can’t have Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic transforming the sport’.
“It’s like there’s a bit of transition going on. Are they ready to take over from those two or four guys?
“I don’t think so, not quite the moment, but maybe they can in 2019.
“I am hoping that one of them surprises us all and wins a major and does something special as it would make such an impetus to this game.”
