Dell’s XPS 13 laptop has been a staple among Windows ultralights, typically offering decent performance for the price, extreme portability, and good looks.

Apparently, that wasn’t enough for Dell, so it released the Dell XPS 13 Plus. Introduced this year (alongside a more traditional 2022 XPS 13), it’s a revamped version of the XPS 13 that puts performance over everything else.

Wild design choices allow the system to support a 28 W CPU. With the 2021 XPS 13 carrying a 15 W chip and the 2022 XPS 13 supporting up to a 12 W one, this is a notable achievement. But it’s also a case of function over form. To put it simply, using the XPS 13 Plus felt weird. From its tightly spaced keys and capacitive touch function row to its minimal port selection, questionable build quality, and extremely high temperatures, this machine can be frustrating to use for daily tasks.

NBC’s popular retail comedy Superstore came to an end this month with a sweet and satisfying series finale. Viewers had hoped a proposed spin-off centred on Cloud 9 supervisor Cheyenne Lee (played by Nichole Sakura) and her husband, Bo Thompson (Johnny Pemberton), would continue the story, but the network has sadly pulled the plug on the new series.

A proposed Superstore spin-off starring Nichole Sakura and Johnny Pemberton’s husband and wife pairing Cheyenne and Bo has just been axed by NBC.

The couple have been a mainstay of the series since they got engaged in the very first episode of the successful work based comedy.

Producers Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu would have helmed the Superstore follow-up, which would follow the pair as they try to “balance their big dreams with the harsh realities of being a blue-collar family in America.”

Sadly, despite a surge in popularity during the pandemic, it appears Cloud 9 will be closing its doors for good after this week’s finale.

Nichole Sakura said of the proposed series: “I’ve gotten to read the pilot script, and it’s really funny.

“So hopefully we’ll get made and can bring back some of the ‘Superstore’ cast to pop into that and still be part of this same world. I’m just remaining hopeful, but stay tuned.”

Unfortunately, the pilot will remain unproduced, as Kyle confirmed to cleveland.com last Friday.

She said: “Unfortunately, yesterday NBC notified us that they’re not going forward with the ‘Superstore’ spin-off.”

And another wrote: “Hopefully there’ll be some sort of spinoff or another show. There’s a big cast, lots of potential ideas. Just carry on at the fulfilment centre, or Glenn’s new store.”

However, others admitted Cheyenne and Bo wouldn’t have been their first choice of characters to feature in their own series.

A third viewer said: “I like Cheyenne but she isn’t a leading character in my opinion, and Bo shouldn’t ever be a main character appearing in every episode.”

Still, Cheyenne’s former Cloud 9 colleagues were expected to make cameo appearances, and no doubt a roster of new supporting characters would have balanced out the cast.

After recently being made available on Netflix, Superstore came to an end after six seasons on NBC last Thursday.

In the bittersweet series finale, conglomerate company Zephra puts the teams’ jobs at risk after turning their store into a fulfilment centre.

Fans also got to see a touching reunion between Amy Sosa (America Ferrera) and ex-boyfriend Jonah Simms (Ben Feldman) after Amy departed for California at the start of this season.

Superstore seasons 1-5 are available to stream on Netflix.

During Friday’s edition of Good Morning Britain, hosts Ben Shephard, 45, and Kate Garraway, 53, discussed the likelihood of Anton becoming a judge.

Saturday Night Live this weekend brought together Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump and Jim Carrey’s Joe Biden, possibly for the last time.

The comedy all stars faced off in SNL‘s parody of the second and final presidential debate, during which Trump assured the American people that he’d have a coronavirus vaccine in a matter of weeks. (“If I get reelected, everyone in America will be on a big, beautiful ventilator,” he boasted.)

Biden, on the other hand, struggled with anger management. He eventually launched into full Clint Eastwood mode, then defended himself against myriad attacks by the incumbent.

“First I’m creepy, then I’m sleepy,” he said. “You say I have dementia, then you say I’m a criminal mastermind.” He also defended himself against baseless accusations that he’s made millions through corrupt business dealings with China, adding, “I live in Delaware, [where] a night out is $ 28… I bought this suit on a train, c’mon!”

The debate also featured an appearance by Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani (played by Kate McKinnon), who made headlines this week for a compromising scene in the new Borat film. Once again, America’s mayor looked to be fondling himself.

“It’s not what it looks like!” Giuliani said. “My microphone was stuck… on my balls.”

Meanwhile, Maya Rudolph ditched her Kamala Harris impression to portray debate moderator Kristen Welker, who Trump mistook for Hoda Kotb, Padma Lakshmi and Mindy Kaling. Upon Biden’s first use of the word “malarkey,” Welker revealed her Biden Bingo card and took a shot.

At the end of the sketch, Rudolph joined Baldwin and Carrey on stage to mark the final debate sketch of the election cycle. “Good luck, America!” she exclaimed.

If you thought a career in Hollywood was all lavish parties and adoring fans… well, it’s not not that. But if the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming limited series is any indication, the Tinseltown life is also frustrating, lonely and very, very weird.

Created by Ryan Murphy and frequent collaborator Ian Brennan, Hollywood follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Hollywood as they try to make it in showbiz, no matter the cost.

“Each character offers a unique glimpse behind the gilded curtain of Hollywood’s Golden Age, spotlighting the unfair systems and biases across race, gender and sexuality that continue to this day,” the project’s logline reads. “Provocative and incisive, Hollywood exposes and examines decades-old power dynamics, and what the entertainment landscape might look like if they had been dismantled.”

In the trailer above, screenwriter Archie Coleman (played by newcomer Jeremy Pope) hopes to bring his movie Dreamland to fruition… but things get a little complicated during the production process.

Hollywood boasts a star-studded cast, including several actors that have popped up in Murphy’s previous projects. David Corenswet (The Politician), Darren Criss (Glee), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Laura Harrier (One Life to Live), Samara Weaving (SMILF), Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story), Holland Taylor (Two and a Half Men) and Patti LuPone (Pose) lead the ensemble.

Good Morning Britain will return to ITV tomorrow at 6am but regular presenter Susanna Reid will no longer be presenting the show. Normally poised alongside Piers Morgan, Susanna announced tonight she would be “self-isolating” following advice amid ongoing concerns over the spread of coronavirus.

Susanna announced the shock move just hours before GMB is scheduled to air on ITV.

She said: “I am currently well but due to the new advice today I will be self-isolating for two weeks due to symptoms in my household.

The GMB presenter finished off the tweet with: “Stay well everyone.”

Hundreds of Susanna’s fans were quick to send messages of support to the TV presenter and it didn’t take long for Piers to weigh in.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister urged the UK to avoid “non-essential travel.”

He also said that, should anyone in a household start exhibiting symptoms, everyone in the home should self-isolate.

Mr Johnson stated that while “fit and active healthy 70-year-olds may find this excessive” the new measures put in place are “overwhelmingly” worthwhile.

Other measures include the avoidance of restaurants, bars and pubs in order to lower the risk of contracting the virus.

Ever since being introduced as Project Sword alongside iOS 4.1 back in 2010, the Infinity Blade games have shown the kind of graphics and action that are possible on Apple’s mobile devices — until now. At the same time owner Epic Games is launching its own game store and pricking Apple over App Store policies that impact its Fortnite juggernaut, the company has decided to pull all three games without warning. In a post the company said “it has become increasingly difficult for our team to support the Infinity Blade series at a level that meets our standards.”

The company didn’t talk about those business concerns in the post, instead referencing development of its Bad Robot-linked game Spyjinx as a focus. Of course, Epic also recently announce that it has ended development on Unreal Tournament projects to focus on Fortnite, so this could just be a result of that game sucking up so much attention internally — and making so much money — that maintaining even a skeleton crew on other projects is no longer in the plan.

It’s still unfortunate however, since the hardware-accelerated games made great demos for new devices. People who’ve purchased them previously will still be able to download them using their existing accounts. It remains to be seen if at some point in the future, iOS platform updates make them unusable or inaccessible.

The line-up for the ITV show is yet to be revealed but already there have been a lot of rumours.

One star rumoured to be heading into the jungle is Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway.

However, reports suggest that she will no longer be taking part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Kate is said to have pulled out the upcoming series because the “timing isn’t right”, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: ”Kate is no longer taking part – she didn’t want to be out of the UK for a long time and it’s just not the right time for her to take part.

“She’s a big fan of the show so she’s not ruling it out forever – just this year!”

Express.co.uk have contacted ITV and a representative of Kate’s for comment.

No one is confirmed for the programme yet but the rumour-mill has been going into overdrive.

Celebrities hotly tipped for a jungle stint include Sair Khan, Anne Hegerty and Harry Redknapp.

Two recent reality stars have also been backed for an appearance.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Seann Walsh currently has odds of 5 to 1 for him to go Down Under.

Meanwhile, Great British Bake Off 2018 winner Rahul Mandal is 2/1 to enter I’m A Celebrity.

This year will see Holly Willoughby take over presenting duties from Ant McPartlin as she hosts alongside Declan Donnelly.

Ant is taking time off to focus on his recovery following a conviction for drink driving earlier this year.

In a statement she said: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure.

“I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.

“These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit…

“Honestly, I’m a huge fan of I’m a Celebrity and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show!

“When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves?!”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returns November 18 on ITV.
