The impeachment inquiry against President Trump was once again grist for the Saturday Night Live mill, with Lorne Michaels tapping former cast member (and current host) Will Ferrell to play the hearing’s latest breakout star, U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland.

Instead of specifically sending up this week’s public hearings (as it did last week), SNL opted instead to focus its cold open on the impromptu presser Trump (Alec Baldwin, reprising his role) held on the White House lawn, during which he dismissed Sondland’s claims of quid pro quo while also denying even knowing him. (SNL had particular fun with Trump’s Sharpie-drenched cheat sheet, with the prez explaining, “I love black magic markers; they smell like licorice.”)

At the end of the sketch, Ferrell’s Sondland crashed the press conference and agreed with Trump to “keep the quid pro quo on the low-low,” before addressing the press directly with this plea: “I want to go on the record and say you’ve got to lay off my boy. Everyone loves his ass: Ukraine, Russia, they’ll do anything for this man. I know, I asked.”

This is the second week in a row that SNL kicked things off with an impeachment-related sketch. Last week, the show remade the inquiry was presented as a twisty daytime serial starring Cecily Strong as former ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, Mikey Day as Ohio representative Jim Jordan and special guest Jon Hamm as “career diplomat” Bill Taylor.

The Gunners boss was conducting his pre-match interview ahead of the away tie at Cardiff.

He was answering a question when a mobile that was put down on the table to record him started ringing.

The Spaniard looked puzzled for a minute before asking: “Is this yours, I don’t know who it is”.

Someone in the background shouted “It’s Ozil, is he playing tomorrow?”

Emery continued: “I am going to answer it.”

He then reveals the caller is a “John Spencer” – could it be the former Chelsea and Scotland striker himself?

He then asks if he can answer it, before those in the room shout their approval and burst into laughter.

And the 46-year-old didn’t disappoint.

He answered, saying: “OK, good morning, good afternoon.

“Hi, I am Unai Emery. How are you?

The media were left howling in laughter before Emery shook his head and explained that “John Spencer” had hung up.

It brought some fun to what has being somewhat of a tricky start to life at The Emirates for Emery.

He lost the first two Premier League games, to Man City and Chelsea, before picking up a morale-boosting victory against West Ham.

According to a letter to employees sent today, Juicero CEO Jeff Dunn allegedly called for a “strategic shift” at the company that would involve cutting 25 percent of staff and dropping the price of the press to under $ 200.

Juicero found itself in the Silicon Valley limelight in April, when Bloomberg reporters got ahold of one of the company’s high-end presses and found that they could, by hand, squeeze a considerable amount of juice out of the proprietary juice bags that are designed to work with the appliance. That left many to question what the juicer, which started at $ 700 and was later reduced to $ 400, was really doing. It couldn’t press any fruits or vegetables other than what came in the juice bags (which are delivered to customers’ doors for $ 5-$ 7 a pouch). And if you buy into the idea that cold-pressed juice is somehow healthier for you than juice from a centrifugal blender (a claim for which there is very little evidence), then that purpose seemed to be thwarted as well—the produce in several bags seemed to already be in a pulp form.

After much ridicule, Juicero CEO Jeff Dunn defended his company’s product, saying that the elaborately-engineered machine delivered more consistent pouch presses and prevented users from accidentally pressing expired juice packs by reading a barcode on the pack’s label.

Sony concluded one of the least surprising PlayStation E3 conferences in recent memory with a pretty clutch closer: Spiderman. The PlayStation-exclusive superhero game from Insomniac Games now has a launch window of 2018, and if its actual gameplay looks as sharp as its debut trailer, we’re in for the most stunning Insomniac game yet.

The eight-minute demo looked like a cross between the devs’ Sunset Overdrive series and the Batman Arkham brawlers—with, of course, a healthy dollop of web-slinging whimsy. A young-sounding Peter Parker cracked wise as he took down countless masked thugs, using equal parts stealth, combat, and web-slinging trickery. On-screen indicators popped up when Parker could either insta-jump at a location or spin a useful web. This resulted in some wild enemy takedowns, including one where a foe was caught and then flung over a rafter and others where Spidey whipped giant, iron bars around like Lincoln logs.

Eventually, the game’s claustrophobic, sneak-and-fight sequence opened up to a city-spanning chase between Spidey and a low-flying helicopter. It looked simple (and thrilling) enough for the demo’s player to chain together Tarzan web swings and high-speed wall runs while traversing a densely populated city. This downtown scene, by the way, consisted of a surprising variety of building types and textures along with tons of reflective window effects, dense foliage, and many denizens on the roads below. (I first assumed this was pre-rendered footage, but then I remembered what an incredible job Insomniac did with last year’s Ratchet and Clank remaster. If anybody can pull such a game off in real time on PlayStation 4 hardware, it’s those devs.)

President Trump’s incendiary, rambunctious, supremely awkward press conference on Thursday forced Seth Meyers to literally flip the script.

On Thursday’s Late Night, Meyers revealed that Trump’s presser was so bizarre that he had to jettison a planned Closer Look segment that focused on Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare. And to prove his point, he trotted out a paper shredder and destroyed the script on air.

“We had a draft that we felt good about… and then Donald Trump held what can only be described as a bat—t crazy press conference that rendered this script completely meaningless,” he said, before directly addressing the shredded pages: “Bye, dead jokes.”

In the revamped Closer Look segment, Meyers recounted Trump’s chaotic week before launching into a stinging and often times uproarious blow-by-blow takedown of the aforementioned presser.
