A viral video has emerged in China showing an accident between a bus and a falling object.

The CCTV camera shows a moving bus driving down a road on 5 March.

Due to the high winds, a pillar is dropped from the building in Shanghai which crashes onto the top of the vehicle.

Miraculously no-one was hurt.

As it hits the bus, it splinters into two pieces, causing a deep dent on the vehicle.

Glass shatters from the window as it comes to a halt.

News reports state that one person was sitting on the bus at the time.

Somehow they escaped injury when it hit.

The video, posted to CGTN’s Facebook Page, has already had over 462,000 view already.

One Facebook user wrote: “Thanks God, all passengers are safe.”

Many used the shocked emoji to convey their horror.

Another simply wrote: “Wow” in reaction the scary crash.

Earlier this week, the high winds caused chaos in an airport in China.

Filmed at Nanchang Changbei International Airport, the ceiling of the airport is ripped from roof.

It slowly peels away and falls to the road in the front of the terminal.

People can be seen rushing to get out of the way and screaming inside the airport.

Thankfully no-one was hurt in the crash.

Well, it was a fun ride while it lasted.

Red-hot corporate earnings growth — historically the biggest contributor to share-price appreciation — has nowhere to go but down, says Strategas Research Partners.

This is significant because any sort of slowdown would deprive the market of it’s most crucial driver — one that’s helped keep the stock market afloat amid middling economic data and elevated geopolitical risk.

A big part of Strategas’ argument stems from the fact that the period against which current earnings are compared — the first half of 2016 — was notably weak. And that, in turn, pushed year-over-year growth to unsustainable levels.

As the chart below shows, Wall Street is not bracing for the decline. Its estimates are represented by the blue columns, which show continued profit expansion over the next two quarters. Strategas has other ideas. Adjusting for historical factors, the firm sees earnings growth declining over the period before being cut almost in half by the first quarter of 2018, as indicated by the red columns.

“Last year’s easy comps become this year’s tougher comps starting now, so the natural progression is for the growth rate to slow,” Nicholas Bohnsack, the president and head of quantitative research at Strategas, wrote in a client note. “Adjusting prevailing estimates for the historical revision baseline, which is negative, shows earnings growth falling to mid-single digits rates by next year.”

“This is not to say earnings will begin to decline straightaway, but they will mathematically increase at a decreasing rate,” he continued. “This progression is typical of a late-cycle profit re-acceleration running out of steam.”

Strategas is also keeping an eye on revenue growth, as well as how gross domestic product is faring. According to the firm, the two metrics “look toppy,” suggesting that a downturn may be imminent. As seen in the chart below, both have pulled back slightly in recent months.

That’s not to say this expected slowdown is negatively affecting investor sentiment — at least not yet. Hedge funds are large speculators are the most bullish on the S&P 500 since early May, according to data compiled by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Further, Wall Street strategists forecast that the benchmark index will climb another 2.4% by year-end from Thursday’s closing level.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar is under investigation by Major League Baseball for possibly using a homophobic slur during Wednesday night’s game in Atlanta.

MLB said Thursday morning that the investigation is underway.

Pillar engaged in a heated exchange with Braves pitcher Jason Motte during the seventh inning of a game the Jays eventually lost 8-4.

After striking out, Pillar took exception to a quick pitch by the reliever, yelling toward the mound before Atlanta catcher Kurt Suzuki stepped in to calm things.

Pillar issued an apology while speaking to reporters after the game, though he didn’t specify what he was apologizing for.

“It was immature, it was stupid, it was uncalled for,” he said.

“It’s part of the game … I’m a competitive guy and [it was] heat of the moment. Obviously I’m going to do whatever I’ve got to do to reach out and apologize and let him know he didn’t do anything wrong. It was all me.”

The Blue Jays have not commented.

Kevin Pillar hit a walkoff home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Blue Jays over the Seattle Mariners 3-2 on Sunday for Toronto’s fifth consecutive win and a sweep of the four-game set with Seattle.

Pillar came to the plate with two outs and the game seemingly headed to extra innings but the American League’s hits leader brought the 42,030 in attendance at Rogers Centre to their feet with a line drive to left-centre field.

It was Pillar’s first career walkoff home run and is the first Toronto centre-fielder to hit a walkoff since Vernon Wells in July 2006.

Justin Smoak also hit a home run, a two-run shot in the sixth inning, for the Blue Jays (17-21).

Aaron Sanchez (0-1) returned to start after a stint on the 10-day disabled list and allowed one unearned run, five hits and struck out four in five innings pitched. He was pulled after 78 pitches in favour of Dominic Leone.

Sanchez was out since May 1 with a split nail on the middle finger of his throwing hand. Blood appeared on Sanchez’s right thigh, around his belt, after two innings — presumably from his throwing hand.

Leone was followed by Ryan Tepera, who earned the win after working 2 1/3 innings and striking out two.

Ariel Miranda started for the Mariners and struck out eight over five innings of work, allowing one earned run. Pillar’s 48th hit of the season came off reliever Edwin Diaz, and dropped Seattle (17-21) to its fourth straight loss.

Steve Pearce hit a double to right field in the second inning but injured himself sliding to avoid the tag. The Blue Jays later announced he had tightness in his right calf. He was replaced in left field by Ezequiel Carrera.

Jean Segura hit a double to shallow right field, pushing Carlos Ruiz to third. But Jose Bautista’s throw from the outfield was off, earning him an error and allowing Segura to reach third and Ruiz to score for a 1-0 Mariners lead.

Smoak took the lead for Toronto in the sixth inning with a low line drive to left-centre field that just made it over the wall. He drove in Jose Bautista, who had led off the inning with a walk, to make it 2-1.

Dyson replied in the next inning with a solo shot off Leone to right field, his first of the season, to tie it 2-2 and set up Pillar’s heroics two innings later.
