British boxer Dillian Whyte called out “lanky piece of sh*t” Anthony Joshua after scoring a KO win over rival Dereck Chisora at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night to set up a potential date against world heavyweight champ. With the fight evenly poised in a much anticipated rematch between two of Britain’s most famous heavyweight sluggers, ‘Body snatcher’ Whyte landed a thunderous left hook flush on the button, that sent Chisora sprawling in the 11th round to close the show. That led to a tense few moments as Chisora lay flat out on the canvas and surrounded by medical staff and team members as he fought to regain consciousness after a sickeningly heavy knockdown. Thankfully, Chisora did eventually come round and was able to make it to his feet. Whyte had decisioned his London rival months ago 2 years ago, and bad blood had surrounded the build up to the rematch. Ironically, Chisora had been leading on two of the three judges scorecards by scores of 95-94, 95-94 with the other judge having the same score for Whyte. After the highlight reel knockout, Whyte turned his attention to WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Joshua, who was seated ringside and providing commentary for Sky Sports and directed a callout at the 6 foot 6 inch champ. “I want that lanky piece of sh*t next,” Jamaican-born Brixton fighter Whyte bellowed, gesturing at Joshua. Dillian Whyte just called Anthony Joshua a “Lanky piece of shit” 😃 This is turning into Rocky — Lordie (@Lordie__) December 22, 2018 That fight looks the most likely to be made for Joshua’s next outing on April 13 at Wembley, despite the champions himself showing interest in fighting WBC champ Deontay Wilder, who drew with former champ Tyson Fury earlier this month. Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid aired a debate about the Duchess of Sussex. Recently, reports emerged suggesting Meghan Markle has “made Kate Middleton cry” and has been “emailing staff at 5am” with lists of instructions. Piers, 53, seemed to be unhappy with the reports and set about hitting out at the Duchess, describing her as a “piece of work”. He famously said she “ghosted” him after he put her in a cab before she met Prince Harry for the first time. Piers admitted: “I’ve had my own experiences with her, which was not great to be honest. “I knew her for about year and a half. “I got on really well with her and then ‘bang’ she met someone more important and immediately ghosted. “I never heard from her ever again and the old slippery slope ladder had gone up and she social climbed her way out of my orbit. “So my experience wasn’t great, I’ve got to be honest with you. “And everything I’ve seen since does slightly smack of an actress, a Hollywood actress, seizing her chance and acting her way to the top.” However, journalist Radhika Sanghani blasted Piers’ comments as “absolutely ridiculous”, adding how the media narrative that has followed has changed public opinion on her. Piers went on: “You can’t go after a prince as she did. And I know she did. I put her in the cab to Harry to start with. “You can’t set your sights on a prince to this country who is in line to the throne and expect to have a normal private life afterwards. “It’s part of the deal. To live in palaces at our expense you get to be in the papers. Good, bad and ugly.” Piers suggested the Palace potentially had a problem with Meghan and her father’s relationship, especially how she “cut him off”. The presenter continued: “From the moment she met Harry she ditched anyone who could have been a problem.” Radhika argued: “But what Meghan is doing is inspiring a generation and being different and being fresh and I’m a massive fan.” Piers fought back: “Well she didn’t inspire me, she sacked me like a sack of spuds. Take people as I find them, and I wasn’t impressed. “If you’re watching Meghan – I’m not happy.” Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am. The Flash will soon be celebrating its 100th episode, and apparently everyone is invited to the party. Thus far, anything remotely resembling a detail about this season’s eighth episode — which will precede the three-night, Legends-less “Elseworlds” crossover week and also serve as The Flash‘s midseason finale — has been scarce. “All I can you tell is… it’s a little bit different,” showrunner Todd Helbing said at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con, while cast member Candice Patton very recently shared with TVLine, “For fans, it’s special in the sense that it kind of really revisits what makes our show special. There’s a lot of good stuff.” And by stuff, it seems she perhaps meant sinister speedsters, because DC World reports that Tony Todd, who voiced Zoom during Season 2, confirmed at the MCM London Comic Con that has recorded new dialogue for the milestone episode. Todd also hinted that Zoom is but one of several fleet-footed foes to appear in the episode, and they’re all “wanting a piece of Barry.” Now, lest anyone think that Episode 100, directed by cast member Tom Cavanagh, is some out-of-time or dream/nightmare episode, new addition Chris Klein told TVLine on Friday that The Flash‘s current headache, Cicada, is also in the mix. “It’s a really exciting one, a really fun, fun episode,” Cicada’s portrayer effused. “They definitely built in some bells and whistles for it!” Want more scoop on The Flash, or for any other show? Serena Williams is under attack.
A conservative columnist at the Herald Sun has accused her of going “nuclear” during last weekend’s US Open women’s final. The Herald Sun is the Australian newspaper that published a vulgar cartoon this week grossly exaggerating her weight, lips, and nose and depicting her as an angry baby. The paper has also attempted to discredit her character.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow broke down in tears over a piece on children of illegal migrants. While some expressed sympathy, others accused her of hypocrisy and staged emotions.
“This is incredible,” the host of ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’ uttered live on air on Tuesday when she began reading the recent scoop by the AP on children of detained illegal migrants. The story detailed how babies and youngsters, forcibly separated from their parents by border control, reportedly get transferred to the so-called “tender-age” shelters.
As Maddow read the report, she appeared to become distressed. The Emmy-winning political commentator clearly couldn’t hold her composure, bursting into tears. “I think I’m going to have to hand this off,” she said sobbingly after a few attempts to pull herself together.
Maddow later apologized to the viewers on Twitter for failing to keep her emotions under control. “Ugh, I’m sorry. If nothing else, it is my job to actually be able to speak while I’m on TV,” she wrote.
The segment went viral, with some people expressing sympathy towards Maddow’s reaction.
There's nothing to be sorry for. You showed your humanity. Nobody could read that story and not be that upset. You were seeing it for the first time, no warning, and you proved why we love you.

Not everyone believed her, though – with some users ridiculing Maddow and suggesting that her breakdown was staged.
Maddow also got accused of harboring ‘double standards’. Some Twitter users questioned why the host shed didn’t shed tears when she saw the footage from migrant detention centers and anti-deportation rallies during the Obama administration.
Rachel Maddow cries on TV because kids are separated from their illegal parents
Remember when she cried when Obama did this?
Remember when she cried for Kate Steinle?
Remember when she cried when Obama deported over 3M illegals?
I don’t. Maddow has selective crying disorder.

The family-separation policy at the US-Mexico border has polarized the nation, becoming one of the most debated topics. Human rights groups accuse authorities of cruelty, while the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) defends the practice. Around 2,000 children of illegal migrants have been separated from their parents in the last six weeks, according to the DHS figures.

Tory Brunning, 22, was playing for his beloved Dapto Canaries rugby league team at the Dapto Showground on Saturday when he fell ill and was retired from the reserve grade matchup against the Wests Devils.
The promising young football prospect was expected to play back to back games on the day, having been scheduled to play up for the first grade team in their 3pm matchup, but was also withdrawn from that line-up due to his depleting health.
The New Zealand native, who turned 22 this week, was treated by the opposing team’s doctor once the first grade game had ended, but was later found collapsed in the dressing sheds.
Paramedics responded to the football field at about 5pm to treat the unconscious man, but despite their best efforts he was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The cause of death is not yet known and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
“My baby brother was a star in this family — he was doing so well,” his proud big sister Kourtney Waitarehu told The Daily Telegraph. “A piece of our heart has been taken from us all and may he rest in Our Lord’s arms.”
Mr Brunning was raised by his father Mark to play rugby league from an early age, with the Waitara native moving to Sydney at the tender age of 16 to pursue his football career at Illawarra Sports High School — where he was selected to play in the prestigious Australian Combined High Schools team.
“He went from regional football to national New Zealand football and just kept rising — he just had a passion for rugby league,” Ms Waitarehu said.
Mr Brunning’s rugby league pedigree is undisputed with his father and uncles all playing high level representative football in New Zealand.
Heartfelt tributes have also flowed from the Illawarra community with local football enthusiasts, friends and fans describing Tory as well respected, quiet-natured and “a lovely young man” who “never took a backwards step on the field.”
Upon leaving school the football star became an enthusiastic electrician and began his flourishing career with the Dapto Canaries which he classified as a brotherhood.
Mr Brunning was also a well-liked employee at the popular “Figgy Bowlo” bowling club.
Devastated Figgy Bowlo employees declined to comment on the loss of their beloved staff member so soon after his sudden and unexpected passing.
Country Rugby League released a statement on Sunday afternoon saying measures had been put in place to provide counselling and support for the family and friends of Mr Brunning, along with those associated with the Dapto and Western Suburbs clubs.
Ms Waitarehu said her baby brother was a much loved and cherished member of their family and the community, and that the loss had left her and her family heartbroken.
“A star in our eyes and taken in a blink,” Ms Waitarehu said. “How beautiful God made you — a piece of my heart.”

We’d love to tell you that the pretty blue wagon just above is coming soon to the United States, but we can’t. Because the next-generation Audi A6 Avant probably isn’t coming to the United States at all. Here in the States we get the seductively attractive A5 and S5 Sportback, and the swoopy A7, S7, and RS 7 hatchbacks instead of the traditional A6 wagon. We’re not going to complain (much), because we do love the aforementioned Audis, but we’ll still grumble just a little bit over the lost practicality of the forbidden Avant.
Basically, what we have here is a station wagon-enhanced Audi A6. It keeps the same basic driving dynamics of its sedan-shaped sibling, but instead of a trunk, it boasts 20 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, or as much as 58.3 cu-ft with the seats folded flat, accessed via a hatch that’s 3.5 feet wide. That’ll be handy for daytrips with the family, or for a long weekend away for two. A 10.1-inch MMI infotainment screen, haptic-enabled touch-sensitive buttons on the center stack, and 12.1-inch Virtual Cockpit gauge cluster keep things looking super modern inside.
Audi isn’t saying much about powertrain options just yet, except that all versions will be equipped with a mild-hybrid belt alternator starter system relying on a 48-volt electrical system. Depending on trim levels and options, all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering pair with steel-spring or air suspension setups. Suffice it to say, buyers won’t be complaining over a lack of configurations for the A6 Avant.
One thing Audi has neither confirmed nor denied is an Allroad version of the A6 Avant. If such a beast is in the works, there’s a reasonable chance it could come to the States. After all, Audi already sells the A4 Allroad in America, Mercedes offers an all-wheel-drive E-Class wagon, and the Volvo V90 Cross Country could use some competition. Still, we’re not holding our breath.
