Epic Games has brought back one of its most popular weekly Fortnite challenges and a lot of fans are trying to complete it. One of the new Week 2 battle pass tasks offers a scavenger hunt to complete, with players instructed to play sheet music on pianos found on the map. Playing the sheet music in Fortnite is the first part of the quest, with Epic Games refining it slightly from last season. In season 6, players had to find the Sheet Music in Pleasant Park before they could play it on the pianos. However, this time Fortnite fans just need to find the pianos, as the sheet music is already available at the locations. Because of these changes, Fortnite fans should know that there are only two parts to this challenge, which will reward them when completed with a Battle Star worth XP. From what has been posted online, players will want to complete each stage of this challenge in different matches. However, this also means finishing the match by dying or earning a Victory Royale against other players. PLAYING PLEASANT PARK SHEET MUSIC Unlike in the past, playing the Pleasant Park sheet music is the first part of the challenge and the easiest part when you know where to look. Fans will want to head over to the B3 map grid to find the first big piano that needs to be played. Players will need to scale the mountain west of Pleasant Park to reach the piano, which will probably be a pretty popular spot. To play the music, you have to step onto the keys in the right order otherwise it won’t count. Fortnite fans need to play E, G, C, D, and E and the piano will play the rest of the tune. After this, you can move onto the second part of the quest, which means relocating to the Lonely Lodge area of the map. PLAYING THE LONELY LODGE PIANO The Lonely Lodge piano will be your next port of call in this Fortnite Season 7 Week 2 Challenge. This will mean heading over to the J5 Map grid location, where the piano can be found. It’s just north of the abandoned hero mansion, making it a little easier to spot among the trees. It’s situated on a cliff near the ocean and includes a slightly longer list of notes that need to be played. Playing the right notes is key, which are currently listed as C, C, C, F, F, F, E, F, G, A, A#, G, and A. If you manage to pull this off you will hear the notes played back to you with the correct pace. After completing both tasks, the player will be rewarded with a new battle star that adds XP to your Battle Pass. It should also be noted that this is an exclusive Battle Pass Challenge, meaning you can only complete it if you have paid for a season 7 battle pass. New Fortnite challenges have been released by Epic Games and they appear to be some of the most popular among fans for a while. One of the new Week 6 battle pass tasks provides the game’s first scavenger hunt, with players instructed to find sheet music and then play it on pianos found across the map. Finding the sheet music in Fortnite is the first part of the quest and means travelling to select locations. Stage 1 is finding a stand with Sheet Music in Pleasant Park, which is followed by several other steps in the process. There are a total of four parts to this challenge, which will reward the player with a top tier battle star, worth 1,000 XP. It has also been reported that each stage of this challenge must be completed in different matches, meaning you should do each part individually, as well as finish the match by dying or winning. THE PLEASANT PARK SHEET MUSIC Find a stand with Sheet Music in Pleasant Park is the first part of the challenge and the easiest bit to complete when you know where to look. It’s actually located in the very first house in the central-north area of Pleasant Park, the one with the Halloween decorations. Heading to C3 should help you narrow down the location on the map, the house has a giant spider in the garden outside, with the sheet music found on the lower floor. After you complete this, you move onto stage 2 – Play The Sheet Music At A Piano. The Piano can be found pretty close to the house and doesn’t a huge amount of travel. It’s on the big hilltop just west of the Halloween house, in the corner of B3 on the map. To play the music, you have to step onto the keys in the order found on the sheet you discovered in Pleasant Park. After completing this you, move onto stage 3, which means relocating to Retail Row. SHEET MUSIC IN RETAIL ROW The Sheet Music in Retail Row can be found in a building on the Eastern side of town. This means heading for the 5H marker on the map and looking in the building that is on the right side of the street, second from the last on the block. After interacting with the Sheet Music found in Retail Row, fans will then need to head over to the big piano to play it. It isn’t far from the Sheet Music and is found on a hill just south-east of the shops. This would be on the edge of the I6 marker found on the Fortnite map. Playing this Sheet Music is a little harder, and fans will need to start on the right side of the piano where the high notes are. After completing all of these stages, the player should be rewarded with 10 battle stars, worth 1,000 XP. It should be noted that this is a hard Battle Pass Challenge, meaning you can only complete it if you have paid for a season 6 battle pass.

The worst of Hurricane Harvey was over by Thursday, August 31, nearly a week after Harvey made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane, but recovery from the rain and flooding in Texas and Louisiana is expected to take months.
Harding was one of many Texans who returned home this week to get their first look at Harvey’s devastation.

Get ready to say Thank you For The Music one more time.
ABBA legend and composer Andersson has revealed his pride and excitement about the new project.
He said: “In the process of recording this album, I have come to realise that the pieces I have chosen to play are an integral part of me. In endeavouring to reach for some core within them, I have found that the more I strip away the clothing, the closer I feel to the music, regardless of whether it was created last year or 40 years ago. In a strange way, I feel like I am playing my memoirs.”
The album will be a stunning 21-track acoustic piano recreation of some of Andersson’s greatest compositions from ABBA to the musical Chess as well as Swedish recordings.
He added: “It was very different to how I’ve made records in the past, and that was part of the joyfulness of it all,” he adds, “Even without the bass, drums, guitars, strings and vocals on these songs, I think there is still substance in all of them. That was very pleasing to realise.”
The first track to be released from the album, a new version of ABBA classic Thank You For The Music is available immediately to download and via streaming services.
The new album Piano will be released on September 29 and also includes beautiful lesser-known ABBA songs I Let The Music Speak, The Day Before You Came and I Wonder (Departure).
Tracks from Chess include You And I, Anthem and Someone Else’s Story.
Piano is released on Deutsche Grammophon on September 29. The album is available to pre-order here
Ladies and Gentlemen… The Bronx Is Burning by Jonathan Mahler
This 2006 nonfiction page-turner is like catnip for me, covering as it does New York City circa 1977 – in which the city grappled with financial instability, out of control crime, a citywide blackout, a testy mayoral race, and the rampage of the Son of Sam killer. (The riveting documentary NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell is an excellent companion film.) But the city was also thrilled by the exploits of the New York Yankees and their new superstar, Reggie Jackson; Mahler’s book tells both of those stories, contrasts them, and connects them. If you’re not a baseball fan (guilty!) the sportswriter’s patter can get a little tiresome, but that complaint aside, this is one hell of an entertaining book – and a fascinating look back at a city that currently shares only a name and a passing resemblance. — Jason Bailey, Film Editor

DC SuperHero Girls, Volume III
I, like most of the planet, enjoyed Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman. I role-played the character as a kid with friends (and had the Underoos). I admired Lynda Carter’s amazing spinning moves on reruns of the old Wonder Woman TV show. Seeing the new movie had me realizing how valuable it would have been to see a character like Gal Gadot’s on the big screen when I was younger. That’s why I got excited when I took a look at the soon-to-be-released volume three of DC SuperHero Girls, available on June 27. The series features teenage versions of comic book favorites, including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, and more. For the new book, writer Shea Fontana and illustrator Yancey Labat created an imaginative, fun story about summer break at Super Hero High. Wonder Woman goes to Mount Olympus to visit her dad, Zeus. There’s a little family drama when her brother Ares shows up. The story talks about things women sometimes struggle with at all ages, like acceptance and sisterhood. — Alison Nastasi, Weekend Editor
Lorde’s “Liability” and “Writer in the Dark”
When “Liability” first came out as Melodrama‘s second single, I didn’t pay it much mind — I was still feeling the rush of the vitally counterintuitive structure of “Green Light,” and the straightforwardness of the new piano ballad turned at first me away. That was stupid. This week, as I’ve started digging into this album, it’s the downtempo, less embellished tracks that’ve really struck me. Lorde’s voice, at once stark and vulnerable as the surface of the moon, alone bears more than enough complexity, and “Liability” allows it to take full command of listeners’ emotions; experimental flourish on tracks like this proves totally unnecessary. Lyrically “Liability” is an (unsurprisingly) mature rumination on the social impediments of fame, contending with a newfound alienation and longing without ever sounding self-pitying.
The other song I’m loving is “Writer in the Dark” — which similarly sees Lorde’s voice contorting around piano notes with unpolished intimacy, but this one bears the surprise of an exhilaratingly weird chorus of higher pitched Lordes bursting into the track. The slightly bombastic pitchiness of the chorus works brilliantly, speaking to the track’s subversion of standard post-breakup pining, as the song wavers between longing to threatening (“I’ll love you ’til you call the cops on me”) to, as always, maturity and reflection. On your usual pop album, balladry can be used as filler between danceable singles, but there’s nothing superfluous or empty whatsoever about these tracks. In fact, they feel like the flesh and bone of the album. — Moze Halperin, Senior Editor
Ricky Martin and Penelope Cruz in American Crime Story
Words probably don’t need to speak to my — and hopefully, now, your — excitement over the images above. I’ll just say what may already be obvious: that that is Penelope Cruz appearing as Donatella Versace, and to the left is a speedo-ed Ricky Martin, as Antonio D’Amico (the partner of Gianni Versace, whose murder is the subject of American Crime Story‘s second season, The Assassination of Gianni Versace.) These images — and a few others, all shared in EntertainmentWeekly — are all we’ve seen of the actors in these roles thus far, but as far as anticipating-building goes, they certainly hit the perfect, gaudy spot. — Moze Halperin, Senior Editor

When Google tries to educate public about its AI research, it often releases tools that playfully explain the grittier, technical corners of artificial intelligence. Like, say, neural network software that looks at objects through your device’s camera and spits rhymes about everyday objects. But they also launch fun tools, like AI Duet, an interactive web-based app that accompanies your piano plinking.
Musician Yotam Mann first debuted the app at an event back in November after staying at Google Creative Lab in New York, then open-sourced the code for it. But since it was a bit of a pain to install, the search giant cleaned it up and released it with a simpler web-based interface. On desktop, your home keys activate a slice of the piano’s middle notes, while mobile users can tap directly on the screen. It’s playful and easy to use, if not totally intuitive about when your AI partner will jump in already.
The app runs off Tone.js, an audio library that Mann built himself, but its accompaniment logic is built off Magenta, Google’s TensorFlow framework for deep learning. But as Mann tells in the video above, it’s not just the AI that’s adjusting to humans: As their digital partner riffed new tones off their original notes, folks kept playing to build a simultaneous harmony, creating a continual play loop. Now that’s some biotech synergy.
