As a result, our roads are far less ugly, as the French brand’s collection of ghastly hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs have been kept on their side of the Atlantic. CAR Magazine‘s Gavin Green once aptly described the prior design language as “Creatures of the Deep.” We’ve provided a comparative illustration below.

Well, things are changing at Peugeot. While the most recent selection has been better-looking than their angler fish-inspired predecessors, none made us take notice like the new Peugeot 508 introduced today. True, maybe it really is just the juxtaposition with what came before it, but the new 508 is at least tidy, well-proportioned and generally classy. The word “ghastly” no longer comes to mind. It’s certainly more in keeping with the sharp Pininfarina-designed 406 of the 1990s.

Then there’s the interior, which is gorgeous, no qualifiers needed. The design is modern, luxurious and pleasantly driver focused. The materials also look quite rich, which would be another departure for recent Peugeots.

It’ll be interesting to see if this bold new design direction will usher in a new reputation for the brand, which at least in Great Britain, is known for being the go-to brand for those who don’t give a flying fig about driving or cars. Top Gear did a particularly amusing send-up about Peugeots and their stereotypical owners.

Now, there is a selection of other information available about the new 508, but as there’s precisely a 0.000-percent chance of it being sold in the United States, we’ll just stick to casting judgments on its appearance. As such, it got hot. Good for it.

Yesterday, we told you about the new Citroën Berlingo van, and today PSA announced the Peugeot version, the Rifter. But in order to add some excitement around the launch of its new people-hauler, the lion-logo brand also rolled out the Rifter 4×4 concept, a van with a more rugged, outlaw countenance.

–

In additional to four-wheel drive, the ruggedized Rifter features an additional 3.2 inches of ground clearance, all-terrain tires, and a turbo-diesel engine making 221 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The body is finished in a sinister gray with black and yellow accents, and a 100-LED light bar at the top of the windshield flashes deep in the night. Up front, a matte-black mask covers the leading edge of the hood, which should help prevent damage when you’re doing one hundred and twenty plowing over mailboxes.

When it’s time to pull over to the river, to take a rest, you can bust out the included Peugeot electric bicycle, the eM02 FS Powertube MTB, whose battery is contained within the frame. On top of the Rifter is a pop-up tent affixed to the accessory roof bars, so owners don’t have to spend another night at the Motel 6.

The Rifter 4×4 concept will make its debut at the Geneva auto show, but in spirit, it’s more at home on the high plains, or wherever your vagabond life takes you.

New Peugeot 508 2018 LEAKED pictures reveal car’s major redesign https://briefnews.eu/new-peugeot-508-2018-leaked-pictures-reveal-cars-major-redesign/ https://briefnews.eu/new-peugeot-508-2018-leaked-pictures-reveal-cars-major-redesign/#respond Wed, 21 Feb 2018 15:15:08 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/new-peugeot-508-2018-leaked-pictures-reveal-cars-major-redesign/

New leaked pictures have emerged of the Peugeot 508 2018.

The new Peugeot is not expected to be unveiled until the Geneva Motor Show 2018 on March 6th.

The pictures have revealed the car’s fairly extensive redesign.

It retains its saloon shape but the bonnet and front-end is more muscular and dominant in design.

Both the car’s exterior and interior are on display in the leaks.

Elements of the exterior are seemingly inspired by the low-down and muscular shape of the Instinct concept that debuted in 2017.

Inside the car seems inspired by bigger vehicles such as the.

The bonnet is wider and lower to the ground and features a new chrome grille which has sharper tips and is flanked by revamped headlamps.

Daytime running lights have been moved from just above the air intakes the slashes through the headlights, making way for a new diffuser and bumper.

At the rear is a futuristic strip light that stretches across the width of the boot lid.

Inside the car has been fitted with Peugeot’s i-Cockpit system which has previously been seen on a number of the company’s flagship cars including the 3008.

It replaces the instrument cluster behind the driver with a digital display and adds a large touchscreen infotainment system to the centre of the dashboard.

Engine options and performance specs are yet to be revealed, prices for the car are expected to come in a little over the current £25,340 starting price of the current model.

Carlos Sainz clinches Dakar victory for Peugeot https://briefnews.eu/carlos-sainz-clinches-dakar-victory-for-peugeot/ https://briefnews.eu/carlos-sainz-clinches-dakar-victory-for-peugeot/#respond Sat, 20 Jan 2018 21:26:44 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/carlos-sainz-clinches-dakar-victory-for-peugeot/

Spanish veteran Carlos Sainz won the Dakar Rally in Argentina on Saturday as Peugeot bowed out with their third win in a row. The victory, ahead of Qatar’s two times winner Nasser al-Attiyah in a Toyota, handed Sainz his second title in the grueling endurance race that switched to South America from Africa in 2009 for security reasons. The double world rally champion previously won in 2010 with Volkswagen.

Peugeot’s works team, who won the previous two Dakars with Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel, had already announced their departure after this year’s edition.

Austrian Matthias Walkner, last year’s runner-up to British team mate Sam Sunderland, won the motorcycle category for his first Dakar triumph and KTM’s 17th in a row.

Sainz had led the cars into the final stage with a 46 minute advantage over al-Attiyah and he took no risks after a marathon two weeks from Peru through Bolivia that have seen a spate of retirements and accidents. Sainz finished ninth on the last stage, beating al-Attiyah by 43 minutes. The third place on the podium went to South African Giniel de Villiers in a Toyota, ahead of Peterhansel.

Sainz was immediately applauded by his son and namesake, the Renault Formula One driver.

“Today I am probably the proudest son of his father in the whole world. Winner of the toughest @dakar ever done in South America at 55 years of age (good number) and he did it in his own way,” said the driver, who races with the number 55.

“We managed to do it,” said Sainz. “They (Peugeot) have already won two times, but I think I deserved this victory because we have put lot of effort into this car.

“I had ups and downs, but I always tried my best. Especially this rally, it has been so, so hard,” added the Spaniard, who left open the question of whether he would be back next year without Peugeot.

“At the beginning I said we’ll take it a little bit easier, but Peugeot said we’d have to go flat out. I raced a couple of days and pushed really hard, but then the race was a case of not making mistakes.”

Russian Eduard Nikolaev won the truck category in a Kamaz for the second year in a row and third time in total. Chilean Ignacio Casale won the quadbike title for the second time. (Reporting by Alan Baldwin in London, editing by Ken Ferris and Toby Davis)

While it’s no secret that the PSA Group is looking to make a return to our shores, the French automaker dropped an interesting little nugget at the Detroit auto show regarding Peugeot Citroën’s return to the States—namely, the role its recent acquisition of General Motors Europe’s Opel brand plays in the plan.

–

Speaking at the Automotive News World Congress, PSA Group chairman Carlos Tavares said that the company has “people working on cars now” for the U.S.  market and that Opel engineers can “ensure the future products for this market will be fully U.S. compliant,” aligned with both regulations and our market’s particular tastes, reports Reuters.

–

PSA had already planned to re-enter the fray in the U.S. market via ride sharing—which it’s currently exploring with its Free2Move app—and once Peugeot vehicles have taken hold in that role, they’ll be offered to the general public for sale. Opel’s contribution can be fully implemented on that slow and steady timeline.

–

Presumably these U.S.-bound cars will feature a measure of electrification, since Tavares also said that by 2025, “the PSA Group will be 100 percent electrified.” The firm’s timeline to reach autonomy is perhaps a bit less aggressive than those of some other automakers, with the chairman claiming that by 2030, 80 percent of the company’s vehicles will have limited self-driving capacity, while 10 percent, according to Tavares, will be capable of autonomous motoring.

–

–

To recap, the brand is essentially banking on Free2Move to smooth the way for its entry into the U.S. market, while putting its faith in the Opel/Vauxhall folks to make sure the new vehicles are in line with Yankee tastes. Which may mean the new conquest-intending Frankish automobiles will remind Americans of nothing less than an evolution of recent Opel-engineered Buicks.

Peugeot designs rear-engine hybrid for Gran Turismo Sport https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-designs-rear-engine-hybrid-for-gran-turismo-sport/ https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-designs-rear-engine-hybrid-for-gran-turismo-sport/#respond Mon, 09 Oct 2017 13:35:32 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/peugeot-designs-rear-engine-hybrid-for-gran-turismo-sport/

Since Gran Turismo 6, one of the famed racing game’s unique features has been the Vision Gran Turismo cars, which are vehicles designed by automakers specifically for the game. Peugeot was one of many companies to design a car for GT6, and it designed a second one for Gran Turismo Sport, the newest installment in the series. The new car comes in road-going and racing versions with the lengthy names of L500 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo and L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo.

In case you couldn’t tell from the name, these fictional Peugeot concepts are hybrids. They use a gasoline-fueled engine with an unnamed number of cylinders coupled to an electric motor and a seven-speed sequential transmission. The entire powertrain is also mounted at the back, Porsche 911-style. In the L500, the powertrain makes about 580 horsepower, while the L750 packs about 750 horsepower. The L750 also boasts a redline of 10,000 rpm. Weighing just over 1,800 pounds should make the L750 a formidable car in the game. Although significantly heavier and with less power, the roughly 2,200-pound L500 should still be plenty quick.

The Peugeot HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo cars will appear alongside their predecessors from Gran Turismo 6. They will also be joined by a few other unique cars designed for the game, including the McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo, and the Fittipaldi EF7 by Pininfarina.

Gran Turismo Sport goes on sale Oct. 17.

Carless in Seattle: Peugeot and Citroen Are Back in America, But Only with a Mobility App (So Far) https://briefnews.eu/carless-in-seattle-peugeot-and-citroen-are-back-in-america-but-only-with-a-mobility-app-so-far/ https://briefnews.eu/carless-in-seattle-peugeot-and-citroen-are-back-in-america-but-only-with-a-mobility-app-so-far/#respond Sat, 07 Oct 2017 11:51:59 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/carless-in-seattle-peugeot-and-citroen-are-back-in-america-but-only-with-a-mobility-app-so-far/ 2017 Peugeot 3008 and 1953 Citroen 2CV

–

France’s PSA Group is on the cusp of what amounts to a giant do-over. Among brands under the company’s control, Citroën hasn’t been in the U.S. market since the mid-1970s, and Peugeot shipped out after 1991. Both brands once may have been known as stylish, but they weren’t able to overcome their quirkiness to gain wider American acceptance. Yet by now, the forgiving warmth of nostalgia—and, well, a couple of younger generations—give this automaker what’s effectively a clean slate.

–

With that slate, PSA is relaunching in North America. And it kicked off Phase One earlier this week in Seattle, not with the launch of a car or even a specific service, but with an app. Called Free2Move, it’s a personal-transportation aggregator, simply showing which ways of getting around are available nearby, and it includes suggestions for multiple modes including electric vehicles, bikes, and scooters.

–

In a nutshell, think of it as an Expedia for getting around a city without your own car. In the seven European countries where Free2Move is already established, the service includes 24 car-sharing operators. Current U.S. partners will include car sharing from Zipcar and Car2Go and bike sharing from LimeBike, Ofo, and Spin. Within Seattle, for instance, Car2Go will be the best option for many doing one-way trips, while Zipcar will likely be the better option for round-trip journeys, and TravelCar will soon be a resource for airport rides. You can connect those accounts, so it’s all truly on one app.

–

Especially considering that Free2Move isn’t branded in any way with PSA or its badges, the list of partners seems inherently puzzling. Many of the car-sharing companies are owned by automakers and thus have their preferred car brands: Car2Go, for instance, has Smart and Mercedes-Benz; ReachNow has Mini and BMW; and Maven is General Motors’ own service. So why would PSA invest in assisting other automakers?

–

Aiming for “Transportation Consumers”

–

It’s very strange for a carmaker to say we’re ready to become a multi-brand operator,” said Brigitte Courtehoux, PSA’s senior vice president of mobility. “We are the first very openly saying, ‘In Europe, we want to have our car but we want to have, say, GM cars as well.’ ”

–

Courtehoux said that Free2Move is hoping for several million users within the next two years and explained that its goal is to guarantee customer mobility. “We might not be able to answer the customer with [only] one solution, so that’s why we want to guarantee a solution. Success will come if the customer is using the app for all of their solutions.”

–

Free2Move appFree2Move has already found some measure of success in Europe, where PSA is the second-largest automaker with a market share of about 17 percent as of the first half of this year. The mobility venture sees its own operations split into two areas: end users and corporate customers. In Europe, the Free2Move mobility-services app already has 400,000 end users, while the Free2Move car-sharing service that served to launch the brand has a million users. On the corporate side, a Free2Move Lease service has arranged 400,000 multiple-make leases, while the company recently launched a Free2Move fleet-sharing service and has 400 customers and 60,000 cars in a fleet-management service called Free2Move Connect Fleet.

–

A Major Global Carmaker, Don’t Forget . . .

–

The iPhone app names GHM Mobile Development as the developer/seller, and, at least from a U.S. user standpoint, there’s no mention of PSA vehicles. Beyond that and the roomful of people it might take to maintain and grow, PSA has a hold well beyond Europe; it’s on the top-10 list of the world’s largest automakers. PSA is far larger than Tesla, for instance, a company that has managed to set up retail stores and a massive Supercharger charging network. Yet Larry Dominique, president and CEO of PSA North America (and formerly an executive at Nissan and General Motors, among others) preemptively quipped that PSA doesn’t have close to their budget—or their stock value. As of December 2016, prior to its acquisition of Opel and Vauxhall from GM, PSA had more than 170,000 employees worldwide, and it posted 3,146,000 annual sales globally.

–

–

“

–

“We realize we have one chance to do this right.”

–

— Larry Dominique, PSA North America

–

”

–

–

The Tesla questions that Dominique is already used to deflecting aren’t far off the mark; while his company might have the resources of a global automaker, it must go about establishing a way of selling, servicing, and supporting a brand that has zero on-the-ground footprint in the United States.

–

And the vehicles really are on the way, according to PSA group chairman Carlos Tavares, who said in September at the Frankfurt auto show that the company is in the process of homologating models for the U.S. market. “So within a few years,” Dominique said in Seattle, “we’ll have a portfolio of products available that we could bring to the United States when we’re ready,” adding the company has not forced them to meet a set timeline. “We realize we have one chance to do this right. So we’ve got to find the right solution that allows us to integrate the technological aspect, which is mobility and Free2Move, with innovation in the distribution sense.”

–

DS 6

–

The DS 6, product of PSA’s high-end DS Automobiles division, has been popular in China and could very well be coming to the U.S. market.

–

Dominique says that while nothing that PSA sells today is U.S. ready at present, the products are all competitive with top brands globally, and it will take relatively minor changes to get them ready. “The cliché is the cupholder,” Dominique said with a grin, adding that PSA is “going to make sure that the cupholder can hold a large cup of coffee—actually two large cups of coffee.”

–

PSA has hired a chief technology officer for the United States, Ben Winter, formerly a chief engineer at Ford and FCA. “Ben is working vigilantly with the engineering teams to make sure all of our needs are met, not just for regulatory but consumer needs,” said Dominique.

–

France Is a Good Place to Start

–

This time around, from a branding point of view, French brands don’t carry negative baggage, letting PSA start back in the U.S. market with “positive brand momentum,” Dominique said.  “We have to make sure the powertrains are correct, and the little things: that the HVAC system can cool the car as fast as guys in Nevada want it to and heat as much as people in Minnesota need it to. Regulation aside, it’s things like how does the seat mechanism work, do we have the right room in the back of the vehicle?”

–

The company has identified key segments for the U.S. market, among them compact sedans and SUVs, mid-size sedans and SUVs, and a compact hatchback. Tavares has said that every basic product category will have electrification. Displayed at the event announcing Free2Move’s U.S. launch were the Peking-to-Paris 1953 Citroën 2CV (below), which was on loan from America’s Car Museum; a 1960s Citroën DS21 cabriolet; and the new Peugeot 3008 (shown at the top of this story), which holds the title of 2017 European Car of the Year.

–

Citroen 2CV

–

Many Americans think of this iconic 20th-century people’s car, the Citroën 2CV, when they think of French automobiles. This one is from 1953.

–

There have been more than a few hints that PSA plans to enter the U.S. market with its high-end DS brand, which has already fared well in China. Dominique wouldn’t offer more on that topic but assured us that the brand entering the U.S. market will build on heritage and brand equity and will be one of PSA’s existing brand entities—not the freshly acquired Opel or Vauxhall brands. “We’ve done that analysis, we’ve made that decision, we’re just not telling anyone yet,” he said.

–

The company sees it all as being part of the PSA Group’s 2021 plan, in which the automaker goes from turnaround mode to a period of sustainable growth and its operations bifurcate into carmaker and mobility-provider roles. PSA aims to become “the preferred worldwide mobility service provider” by 2030, citing Deloitte University projections that shared-mobility vehicular transport will surpass personally owned transport before 2035.

–

Where’s the Money?

–

PSA held this first North American event at the Center for Innovation in Seattle—made possible by a donation from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos—because of the level of innovation that has come from the city, which remains a potential location for PSA’s North American headquarters when it ramps up operations.

–

PSA Group - Free2Move launch

–

To that end, the company claims that it will make some revenue through Free2Move via partnerships and joint ventures, but without its own vehicles in the mix in the near future, it’s hard to see where the revenue is in such an aggregation model. “The reality with most aggregation [is that] it’s about scale. As we scale and have more partners and customers, the revenue will grow,” Dominique said.

–

–

Dominique (pictured above), who expressed a keen interest in getting to the stage when the company can talk freely about the cars, noted that PSA currently has “the luxury of launching as a service provider, and I joke that selling cars will be the exclamation point at the end of [our] sentence.”

Peugeot 205 up for auction – you'll NEVER guess for what record price https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-205-up-for-auction-youll-never-guess-for-what-record-price/ https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-205-up-for-auction-youll-never-guess-for-what-record-price/#respond Fri, 11 Aug 2017 10:58:48 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/peugeot-205-up-for-auction-youll-never-guess-for-what-record-price/

The classic eighties’ motor is a rare ultra-fast turbo model called the T16 which was built to rally racing specification.

Only 200 T16s were ever made and the example now for sale has barely been driven, with just 750 miles on the clock.

The current record price paid for a Peugeot 205 stands at £155,000, but experts predict this sale will shatter that.

Car enthusiasts who grew up in the 1980s are now of an age and status where they can afford to rekindle their youth and for many petrolheads the Peugeot 205 Turbo was the classic eighties’ hot-hatch.

The example being sold was owned by a German after it left the Peugeot factory.

It acquired by the last owner, an American collector, 20 years ago.

After his recent death his family have consigned it for auction with Bonhams.

Jakob Greisen, a car specialist at Bonhams, said: “This T16 should bring a world record price – it’s quite simply among the best surviving examples in the world.

“It’s in original condition and has recorded under 1,000 miles in over 30 years, which is astounding.

“The car’s authenticity combined with the booming market for hot hatches, particularly from that famous rallying era, should ensure a huge price.

“Values are so high at the moment because the generation that understands and appreciates cars such as this is getting to the point where they can afford to pay for them.

“We have had enquiries from people all over the world regarding this car.”

The T16 was borne out of controversial Group B rallying regulations, which required constructors to build production models of their race cars.

Regulations stipulated that marques only had to manufacture 200 such examples, making remaining models exceptionally rare and highly sought-after.

Group B regulations resulted in some of the fastest rally cars of all time and the golden era of the sport however it also gave rise to a series of accidents.

In 1986 the International Automobile Federation disestablished the class following the death of Henri Toivonen and his co-driver Sergio Cresto.

The T16 was the most successful Group B rally car ever, accumulating 16 race victories and constructors championships in 1985 and ’86, surpassing the legendary Audi Quattro.

Despite it’s diminutive size the sizeable 200hp engine propels the motor to a top speed of over 130mph and its handling and acceleration are exceptional.

The car will be sold in Monterey, California, on August 18.

Peugeot is ready to get its self-driving cars on the road https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-is-ready-to-get-its-self-driving-cars-on-the-road/ https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-is-ready-to-get-its-self-driving-cars-on-the-road/#respond Wed, 03 May 2017 12:55:34 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/peugeot-is-ready-to-get-its-self-driving-cars-on-the-road/

Like nearly all of the other major car makers, Peugeot believes the next generation of cars will be autonomous. We’ve already seen the Instinct Concept — which imagines a future where vehicles blend self-driving tech, home automation and cloud connectivity to deliver the best riding experience — but to get there, the company needs to do the hard miles. Thanks to a partnership with MIT spin-off nuTonomy, the French carmaker has begun doing just that with the launch of a new self-driving pilot in Singapore.

Under the agreement, nuTonomy’s self-driving software and “specialized sensors” will be installed in customized Peugeot 3008s over the course of this summer and then unleashed on Singapore’s streets in September. Should it be a success, both companies will consider expanding the pilot to more cities, allowing them to better understand how the vehicles behave in urban environments and assess how drivers interact with the automated systems.

The location of the trial makes sense for nuTonomy as it’s been testing its self-driving systems in specially-equipped Mitsubishi i-MiEV or Renault Zoe electric taxis in the city since August 2016. However, the company also got the green light to navigate the streets of Boston soon after, allowing it to join Toyota, Audi and local startup Optimus Ride in public testing across Massachusetts.

Last month, BMW announced it is working with Intel and Mobileye to test 40 modified BMW 7 Series sedans across US and European streets. Mercedes owner Daimler also set aside its own self-driving platform and teamed up with automotive supplier Bosch to develop a fully autonomous “level 5” taxi by the beginning of the next decade. It won’t be a matter of who is first, but whose self-driving package is the best.

Peugeot that is 123 YEARS old goes on sale for £500,000 https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-that-is-123-years-old-goes-on-sale-for-500000/ https://briefnews.eu/peugeot-that-is-123-years-old-goes-on-sale-for-500000/#respond Fri, 17 Mar 2017 19:39:01 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/peugeot-that-is-123-years-old-goes-on-sale-for-500000/

The 1894 Peugeot Type 5 is regarded as “an amazing survivor from the dawn of motoring”.

It also has a motorsport history, having been an entrant in the 1894 Paris to Rouen race – an event recognised as the world’s first motor race.

Louis Rigoulot got behind the wheel of the Peugeot for the 80 mile race, which was unprecedented at the time, driving the car to 11th place.

It is now on the market with central London-based classic car specialist Fiskens, which has given it an asking price of around £500,000.

Rory Henderson, from Fiskens, said: “It is a wonderful motorcar, with its original components which is very unusual for a car of its age.

“It is in good running order and I am sure it would have been a rocketship in its day.”

The car’s top speed at the time was around 16mph, and it was last driven “in anger” in September 2014, covering more than 50 miles in one day at the ‘Hot Tube’ event in Holland.

The Peugeot, known as ‘164, has also appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on four occasions and led the prestigious 20 car strong 20-year celebration parade.

Fiskens has described the Peugeot as an “original and fascinating” car which will provide a buyer with a “rare opportunity to acquire a wonderful piece of early motoring history”.

And despite its age, the car has no modifications or improvements.

Power comes from a rear mounted 1,026cc Daimler v-twin engine with hot-tube ignition.

The engine was made by Panhard-Levassor under license from the German Daimler company and then sold directly to Peugeot.

Records show the engine was commissioned on 25th June 1893 and delivered to Peugeot’s Valentigney facility on 20th December 1893.

It only became a legal requirement to register a car in the UK in 1903 and the Peugeot didn’t arrive on British shores until 1998.

So the DVLA does not have on record where the Peugeot ranks in terms of the UK’s oldest running car.

However, it is thought the Peugeot could be the earliest car to come onto the open market in over a decade.

In 2001, Christie’s sold a Santler Dog Cart, which was originally built in 1889 but then rebuilt in 1894. At the time it was 112 years old, which isn’t as old as the Peugeot currently it.

The Peugeot, which has been restored by veteran car specialist Tim Moore, is eligible for many prestigious motoring events including the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, the world’s longest running motoring event.

Last year’s oldest vehicle in the Veteran Car Run was an 1895 model – a car which is two years newer than the Peugeot for sale with Fiskens.

Mr Henderson added: “The car will suit a collector who likes history. Peugeot were one of the great early manufacturers and this is a pretty remarkable car.

“We don’t expect it will hang around for long.”
