Nipples are one of 2018s hottest trends at international fashion weeks taking place around the globe .

At London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week breasts could be seen behind sheer fabric, as designers chose to eschew bras for their shows.

Some nipples were barely noticeable behind otherwise conservative gowns, while others took centre stage.

Why are nipples such as popular feature at 2018’s fashion shows?

The trend could have been inspired by the Free the Nipple campaign, which has been growing in strength online over the past couple of years.

The campaign for equality for the sexes states: “Free the Nipple is a global campaign of change, focused on the equality, empowerment and freedom of all human beings.”

Many of the movement’s protests focus around the fact that bare women’s nipples are considered taboo, while men’s are not.

The movement gained momentum on Instagram when users discovered images depicting women’s nipples were removed, while those depicting men’s nipples were not.

Completely exposed breasts were seen on the at the Isa Arfen show during London Fashion Week February 2018 at Eccleston Place.

The model wore pink trousers, a mustard wool gilet and a large felt hat.

Also at London Fashion Week was the Uniform fashion show, were a model wore a shore off white top and had red penciled in eyebrows.

At Milan Fashion Week, which is currently taking place the Philosophy show saw a model wearing a high neck white ruffled collar dress with her chest peeking through.

Krizia saw a similar design, with nipple visible beneath sheer polo neck dresses.

At Alberta Ferretti another sheer high neck blouse was worn with black satin trousers and a sparking cowboy-style belt.

Paris Fashion Week will begin on 27 February and run on until 6 March. Will we see more nipples on the catwalk in France?

The BRITs 2018 wardrobe malfunctions also saw a lot of flesh on show, and not always on purpose.

Topshop was among many designers who sent its models down the runway with bare breasts. 

The show kicked off yesterday with Jourdan Dunn and Hailey Baldwin leading the way. 

Sheer metallic tops appeared to be theme of this season’s collection, with the models leaving little to the imagination. 

But the High Street store wasn’t the the only designer with the models revealing all. 

Antonio Berardi also showcased sheer clothing, and among its geometric designs had some nipple on show. 

With her quirky approach to mixing polar opposites, Alexandra Moura also used braless models to display her work. 

Other collections which turned heads included Burberry, one of the most popular shows of London Fashion Week. 

Supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell were ready to see the brand’s new vision first hand, alongside fellow brand favourites Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Stormzy. 

Major models at the moment Adwoa Aboah and Kaia Gerber had the pleasure of wearing the designer’s autumn/winter 2017 collection as they spotted storming the runway. 

This season Burberry sees the classic burberry print come out in full force, and burberry caps are making a comeback. 

While it has been more than 10 years since the Burberry check got its bad reputation after it was referred to by the BBC in 2005 as “the Chav issue”, the beige, red, black and white check is back in fashion. 

Models for the designer were seen teaming their check caps with check jackets, check trousers, and check macs.

The lauded actress, 27, went to the movie’s premiere with her dad – having forgotten that she didn’t wear a bra for the film.

“It was an odd choice for me to have my entire family for this particular movie [premiere],” she told Seth Meyers on his US talkshow.

“It was a weird choice.”

She explained: “I wasn’t really wearing a bra a lot because I’m like Mother Earth.

“And my dad was sitting next to me, and I just forgot about that.

“And any time there would be a shot, my dad just go… [gasp].”

The superstar laughed that the scariest element of the whole film was “the outline of my nipple”.

Despite praise for Lawrence’s performance in Mother!, it is on course to be a big flop at the box office.

With just an $ 8 million projection in the US, it has also been given an unfortunate F grade by viewers polled by CinemaScore.

The 28-year-old spent her entire Big Brother journey making sure all eyes were on her so it was only natural that her eviction followed suit. 

Chanelle made her way through the iconic double doors of the Elstree compound in a very revealing semi-sheer plunging lace gown, which exposed a hint of nipple while her breasts gave fans a eye-full. 

As if her assets weren’t on display enough, the former Ex On The Beach star later revealed to host Emma Willis that her jump suit had split. 

“I was s***ting myself,” she gasped. “And then my jumpsuit split and I thought, ‘Oh no! I’ve got a hole in my bum.’ Thank god I didn’t s**t drop.”

Thankfully, Chanelle managed to conceal her rip from onlookers. 

Chanelle’s eviction came as a bit of a shock for the live audience, who gave the reality star a standing ovation during her exit. 

Though, the firecracker told Emma that she knew her time was up. 

“The people I was up against, I thought it would be me or Hannah [Agboola], because we’re a bit like Marmite. You either love us or you hate us,” she said. 

“But I said I’d rather it would be me rather than Hannah, because she’s come so far in her journey. I’m glad that the sisters haven’t been separated.”

Chanelle’s departures means she narrowly misses out on next week’s live final, however, she won’t be the only one as Lotan Carter, Kayleigh Morris and Arthur Fulford have all been banned. 

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.

During his segment on the best deals of the week, the 45-year-old MoneySavingExpert creator was heard warning viewers to be careful when buying during flash sales.

He was heard telling hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard about flash sales: “They’re good discounts but my warning on these type of days is that this is hype. There will often be things that you don’t want. 

“The fact that they’re selling it every five minutes means you’ll go, ‘Oh my god! I’ve got to buy it! Just in case, must have it.’

“Take a seat back and make a list of anything you’re really looking for. If you’re looking for a TV then it’s a good time to be on it. Don’t be drawn in by the hype.”

He added: “Do sign up but don’t be drawn in by them tweaking your spending nipples by all these five-minute deals.” In response Susanna, 46, quipped with a broad smile on her face: “I love it when you say that!’

The segment proved to be something of a comical interlude on the news programme after co-host Ben, 42, was heard commenting on Martin’s legs after he had decided to wear shorts for his appearance on the show.

Ben told Martin that his muscly pins lacked much hair, leading the latter to hit back: My legs have hair. I’m sure when puberty kicks in you’ll have a full face of hair. Anyway, let’s move on!” 

Martin added: “I love you really! Do you want to do some deals?”

But Ben mischievously replied: “No, let’s talk about your legs.” His request led Martin to start talking about his fitness regime, remarking: “These are finely-toned machines designed to the job they were intended to do.”

Bailey wrote:

[Director Joel] Schumacher’s free reign is clear from the jump, as the film opens with tight close-ups of the title characters suiting up – with a heavy emphasis on their rubber suits’ butts, codpieces, and newly-added nipples. Shot after shot, scene after scene, you can all but hear the crew and actors baffled by what the director was doing, only to shrug, “Well, his last one made all that money…”

Now, also in honor of the anniversary, Schumacher himself has apologized for ever making the film. He says in an interview with VICE, “Look, I apologize. I want to apologize to every fan that was disappointed because I think I owe them that.” He explains how he thinks the success of Batman Forever made him go wrong:

I never planned on being, that dreadful quote, “a blockbuster king” because my other films were much smaller and had just found success with the audience and not often with the critics, which is really why we wrote them. And then after Batman & Robin, I was scum. It was like I had murdered a baby… I take full responsibility. I walked into it with my eyes open and what I really feel bad about is the crew. We all know how great movie crews are. The special effects, stunt people, and everybody that breaks their asses along with the cast. Everybody worked really hard under very long hours. So I feel like their work wasn’t acknowledged like it could have been.

Perhaps this apology is coming now as an attempt to save his legacy: Schumacher says he foresees being remembered for “the nipples on Batman starting with Batman Forever.” He continues, “Such a sophisticated world we live in where two pieces of rubber the size of erasers on old pencils, those little nubs, can be an issue. It’s going to be on my tombstone, I know it.”

For what it’s worth, let me just say that, as someone who couldn’t care less about the sanctity of Batman representations, Batman & Robin, by far the worst Batman film, is also by far my favorite. Schumacher shouldn’t have to apologize for those nipples: those nipples gave my gay self an excuse to pretend I cared about superheroes. And Poison Ivy was basically Tori Amos, so there was the delight of that, too. Rather than shaming Joel Schumacher, perhaps we should be mourning the lack of camp and nip-centricity in contemporary superhero films.

And, of course, the lack of whatever the hell you want to call this:

The stylist exposed her nipples as she sported a striped white shirt and flowing culottes which were accessorised with a black tie belt. 

She had clearly chosen to ditch her lingerie with her assets impossible to miss underneath her long top. 

Furthermore, her shirt was gaping open due to the tight fit across her chest leaving her décolletage on full display and giving viewers a glimpse of her breasts.

That wasn’t the end of her fashion disaster as she admitted her bandage was “falling out” as she talked through the outfit her daughter was wearing.

But Trinny appeared completely unfazed by the embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions as she offered advice on how mothers and daughters can wear similar items of clothing but in different ways. 

While host Ruth Langsford was fully engaged with the fashion segment, those at home were distracted by Trinny’s nipples. 

One viewer tweeted: “#ThisMorning really didn’t want to see Trinny and her nips while eating. Ffs put a bar on woman or warm up.”

Another added: “Think Trinny needs some plasters! #ThisMorning.”

“Think Trinny needs a bra!! Hers & her daughters outfits are a no from me #ThisMorning,” a third continued. 

Someone else shared: “Can someone please tell Trinny to sort her top out @thismorning #boobexposure #ThisMorning.”
