The block button is only available to use for each judge once and it means the likes of Tom, Olly, Will.i.am and Anne Marie can stop one another from adding a particular singer to their camp. Inevitably, it’s bound to cause some entertaining viewing and host Emma Willis has hinted the element of “naughtiness” it’s added could lead to some rather tense clashes. “It has made them naughty and Anne Marie is a naughty little minx. “She keeps up with all of the boys which is brilliant,” she added to Metro.co.uk. “It’s just created pure naughtiness with all of them, they’re like little kids playing pranks on each other.” Kimberly’s time in the final round was a mixed bags as she failed to answer a handful of questions correctly. However, after failing to knock the jackpot counter off, she was still offered the chance to retrieve with three extra counter. She’d have to trade in the money she’d accumulated which amounted to £5,200. Kimberly turned down the opportunity and walked away with over £5,000 for her chosen charity. Tipping Point returns to ITV weekdays at 4pm.
You’d better watch out, you’d better not cry, you’d better not pout, wanna know why? We’ve got our eye on you, TV characters.
In the spirit of the holiday season, TVLine got to thinking about some of our favorite shows and the people on them who started off one way, then wound up another. At the start, these fictional folks might’ve seemed sweeter than pie — perhaps teaching high school chemistry classes (cough Walter White cough), or burning sage sticks to banish negative energy (right, Midnight, Texas‘ Fiji?). But then a left turn — whether in the space of one script or over the course of a long arc — changed them into something different… and usually much darker.
We’ve also taken into consideration the characters who began their onscreen journeys from a less-than-saintly place (a certain bleached-blonde vampire springs to mind, as does a handless Kingsguard member) but wound up on the side of good. Or, at least, on the side of not-outright-evil.
Grimm‘s Adalind? Pretty Little Liars‘ Alison? The Good Place‘s Michael? Once Upon a Time‘s Regina? They’re all in here, along with a bunch of other changeable sorts. PUBLIC OPPROBRIUM ought to be something to avoid. It has laid low mighty men in Hollywood accused of sexual misdeeds and sporting heroes caught pumping drugs. But it is not bad for everyone: for some populist politicians it can be fuel to their supporters’ fire. And a new study* suggests that Wall Street’s sins have a surprising side-effect: press reports of bad behaviour by investment banks during and after the financial crisis were good for business.
Thomas Roulet, of Cambridge University’s Judge Business School, sifted all the editorial and opinion articles about the financial industry in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post published between 2006 and 2011. He built a list of 204 terms of reproach, signifying greed (eg, “avarice”), violence (“rapacity”), extreme risk-taking (“gambling”) or opacity (“manipulation”). He then searched…

Kate Middleton, 36, is known for being an impeccable role model and perfect advocate for the Royal Family, always prim and proper.
She rarely shows off a more playful side, but it appears she does have one, with Prince William referring to the Duchess as “naughty”
In their engagement video filmed back in 2010, the Prince revealed the side of him and Kate that the public doesn’t see.
In the unearthed footage William spilled why the pair works so well, because he has a “dirty” sense of humour, and Kate has a “naughty” sense of humour.
In the ITV interview, William detailed how things got started with his now-wife, putting it largely down to what they found funny.
He said: “She’s got a really naughty sense of humour which really helps me because I’ve got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened.”
Giving each other a little look, Kate then gave a little giggle, sheepish that William had revealed her “naughty” side.
In the official engagement interview, Kate and William touched more on how they met and what drew them towards each other.
Again showing off a different more personable side to the Duchess, Kate revealed that she was less than poised when she met William for the first time.
Laughing to the interviewer, Kate admitted that she went “bright red” and “scuttled off”.
According to a royal biographer, this was because Kate did something rather embarrassing.
Talking in his book, “William and Kate: A Royal Love Story”, Christopher Anderson gave details on how the couple met.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met at St Andrews University where they both studied, reportedly during a party in university halls.
It is said by the biographer that Kate actually curtsied when she met her future husband.
William allegedly then awkwardly spilled a drink all over himself, causing Kate to end their encounter by “scuttling off”.
Addressing the uncomfortable encounter in the interview, Kate said she then “scuttling off”.
Kate addressed the story in her and William’s 2010 engagement interview, revealing: “I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you.”
She continued: “William wasn’t there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn’t there from Fresher’s Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other, but we did become very close friends from quite early on.”
Their not-so-perfect meeting shows just how relatable the couple really are, with another relatable thing being their cute nicknames for each other.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been overheard calling her husband “babe”, a pretty normal and down-to-earth pet name.
How did Kate Middleton become a royal?
Early life
Kate Middleton, or Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was born on 9 January 1982 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, England.
She was born to Michael and Carole Middleton, a former flight dispatcher and air hostess. The couple founded a party supplies company, Party Pieces, in 1987 – now estimated to be worth £30 million.
Kate has a younger sister Pippa Matthews, 34, and a younger brother James Middleton, 31.
Education
Kate and her family moved to Amman, Jordan, in 1984, where the future Duchess was educated at an English-speaking nursery school.
After moving back to Berkshire the family sent Kate to private school, St Andrews School. She went on to briefly study at Downe House before moving onto Marlborough College where she boarded.
For university the young Kate attended the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Here she was awarded an undergraduate MA (2:1 Hons) in history of art.
Relationship with Prince William
Kate met Prince William when they were both studying at St Andrews, and both living in St Salvator’s Hall. Famously, William reportedly took a fancy to Kate after she wore a see-through dress during a fashion show.
In 2003 the couple began dating and lived together during their second year of university.
The couple split in April 2007, however, in October they were back together.
Wedding
Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring in October 2010. The couple were holidaying in Kenya at the time.
On 29 April 2011 they married at Westminster Abbey with a whopping 26 million watching the event live.
Kate wore an Alexander McQueen dress worth a reported £250,000 on the big day.
Kate assumed the title “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge” and also become the Duchess of Cambridge on the day.
A fine arts school in Russia’s Siberia has been criticized online after deciding to hastily cover up its nude antique sculptures – all because they thought it might upset visiting Orthodox Christian priests.
The unusual take on artistic nudity occurred in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk on Thursday. Photos and a video from the State University of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts captured antique sculptures in the lobby, draped from head to toe with large baggy cloths. The act of impromptu censorship was done ahead of a visit by Russian Orthodox priests, who were arriving for a panel discussion on making local churches wheelchair-accessible.

“We were told that the sculptures were covered to avoid hurting their feelings,” one of the attendees told local media.
The fact that the statues were ‘dressed-up’ ahead of the clergymen’s visit was later all but confirmed by the university’s spokesperson as their own initiative. Once the priests left, the cloths were removed, and the statues are now back to their original ‘offensive’ form.
The incident triggered a wave of almighty facepalms online, with commentators ridiculing university staff for the uncalled-for act of self-censorship. Some took particular offence at the fact that it happened in Novosibirsk, which is considered to be Siberia’s capital of science.
Local outlet NGS.ru, which broke the bizarre news of statue-dressing, even mocked the move by photoshopping similar golden pieces of cloth around landmark sculptures to see how they might look.

Notably, the incident was met with mixed reaction from the Church. One of the priests who reportedly attended the event said that covering the statues’ naughty parts was the right call. “It’s one thing when the students are using these sculptures as drawing models because it’s a part of their curriculum. And it’s a completely different issue when outsiders arrive, who are by most part members of the clergy, as well as parishioners. There shouldn’t be something that makes a man feel unsettled,” Aleksandr Matruk told the Moscow-based radio station Govorit Moskva, causing even more uproar online.
However, Orthodox Church spokesman Vladimir Legoyda responded to the incident with a proverbial “send a fool to the market and a fool he will return again” – squarely laying all blame on the university staff.

Robert White, a 41-year-old music teacher and comedian from West Sussex took part in the first episode.
Performing musical comedy, Robert performed a song he had penned about the judges.
Nervously walking out on stage, Robert explained: “Basically, I’ve written a song specifically for you which is why I’m nervous.
“I’m also slightly nervous because I’ve got something called dyslexia which was very good for music because I taught myself the piano.
“When I do the clubs I normally swear, but I’ve got to be PC.”
He added: “So I’ve literally done a song about PC’s. It’s a song about computers. George Formby working in a computer shop.”
As the judging panel brace themselves, Robert began with his singing jibes.
He sang: “Alesha Dixon’s webcam was another case. She said the picture was awful but actually that was just her face.
As the audience gasped and booed, Robert saved himself by adding: “…was too lovely. Her face was too lovely. There you go.”
Moving onto Amanda, he continued: “Amanda Holden was the only one who’s Instagram was on the mark.
“She said her outfits have so much spark. I said I’m just jealous I’ll never dress like you. Because I don’t shop in Primark.”
However, fashion-conscious Amanda hit back and said: “I’m okay with that!”
Making his last swipe of the night, Robert took aim at Simon Cowell.
He said: “Simon Cowell’s Facebook was round the bend. He brought it to me to try to mend. It wasn’t broken. He’s just got no friends.”
Simon wagged his finger and responded: “Naughty! Very naughty!”
Following the performance, David Walliams said: “Comedy flows from you like water. I love that you had a go at us all. I think some people were more hurt than others. Some was just entirely truthful!”
Amanda smiled: “You’re very self-deprecating and I think you have funny bones and your audition was fabulous.”
Simon added: “You’re very unique, you’re very quirky, very funny, very naughty, Robert, which we like!”
Off stage, Dec noted: “They liked the fact that you were a bit naughty,” prompting Robert to reveal: “Well, I have toned it down!”
Find out if Robert made it through to the next round during tonight’s episode.
Britain’s Got Talent returns tonight on ITV at 8pm.
Fresh off her Oscar-nomination as the controversial figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, Robbie is sinking her teeth into another meaty role.
The new Terminal trailer gives her the chance to play a pole dancer, dominatrix, naughty nurse, sexy waitress and all-round mysterious femme fatale.
Fans are already comparing it to her iconic turn as the psychotic Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad.
Her new character may turn out to be just as mad, bad and dangerous to know…

Her first words in the movie are taken in a confessional: “Bless me father for I have sinned.”
She then wastes no time straddling a tied-down tough guy and pulling out some wicked little knives and starting to slash.
What is she up to?
The movie is a futuristic neo-noir with shades of Blade Runner and Netflix’s recent Mute.
As usual, someone is trying to kill someone else, against a grimy backdrop of a polluted future pierced by neon signs.
Max (son of Jeremy) Irons plays the contract killer, but what is Robbie playing at?
She dazzles as the enigmatic chameleon Annie.
With a broad London accent and killer (literally) smile, she is the wild card in a predictable game.
As the usual array of underworld contract killers and not so smooth operators ply their filthy trade, Robbie’s character Annie slps and slides around them with her own murky agenda.
The drama thriller is written and directed by Vaughn Stein and also stars Simon Pegg, Dexter Fletcher and Mike Myers.
Terminal is out on on May 11, 2018
In the one-hour long instalment, the pair were seen discussing their robbery plans in Billy Mitchell’s (played by Perry Fenwick) unreal parlour.
But things soon took a naughty turn as Ciara (Denise McCormack) dropped a saucy innuendo which left viewers searching for the nearest sick bucket.
As the two got close a coquettish Ciara teased: “I guess he’s not the only stiff in the room, huh?”
Viewers immediately rushed to Twitter to comment on the remark with one shocked it was aired before the watershed.
One person wrote online: “Not the only stiff in the room ew!!! #EastEnders.”
Another felt queasy and commented: “I guess he’s not the only stiff in the room” well that’s just put me off my dinner. #eastenders.”
“He’s not the only stiff in the room!!!! #beforethewatershed #EastEnders,” said another social media user.
One fan added: “Not the only stiff in the room?? A bit raunchy for 7:45pm, no? #EastEnders.”
Also in the episode, fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief as Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) survived being shot in the arm.
Viewers also discovered the identity of the mysterious shooter, Mick’s son Lee’s friend Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay).
EastEnders continues at 8pm tonight on BBC One.
