Seth Meyers had no time for a “Closer Look” on Tuesday. Instead, the Late Night host tersely addressed the latest sexual assault allegations leveled against President Trump. Meyers aimed his commentary directly at 45 in a segment called “Hey!” The desk piece was born from this week’s New York Magazine cover story, in which advice columnist E. Jean Carroll accuses Trump of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room 23 years ago. In the days since the interview was first published, Trump has vehemently denied the assault, telling The Hill that Carroll is “not my type” and “it never happened.” “Hey, asshole, if someone asks you if you raped that woman, and you say, ‘No, she’s not my type,’ that’s not a defense. That’s a confession,” Meyers said. “It’s like if you asked Hannibal Lecter, ‘Did you eat that guy?’ and he said, ‘No, he looked a little bony.’” “No one believes you when you deny this stuff, because you already admitted to it,” Meyers continued. “Remember, you were on a bus with Billy Bush, bragging about assaulting women like some sort of Port Authority pervert. Trump’s headshot shouldn’t be hanging at the White House; it should be hanging at every Greyhound bus station in the tri-state area.” Later, Meyers pointed out that Carroll is at least the 22nd woman to come forward with allegations against POTUS. The sheer number, he said, makes it hard to believe that Carroll is being dishonest. “Who do you think is lying to us in this situation?” he asked. “All 22 women who have nothing to gain by lying, and are showing incredible courage in the face of these kinds of attacks, or the known liar who called climate change a Chinese hoax, said three million people voted illegally in the last election, and once told Eric Trump, ‘I enjoy spending time with you’?” Press PLAY on the video above to watch Meyers’ response in full, then hit the comments with your reactions.

Urban Meyer will coach his final game for the Ohio State Buckeyes when they take on the Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
Meyer won three Big Ten titles and the 2014 National Championship in his seven years at Ohio State, but his final season in Columbus was marred by controversy. He was widely criticized for mishandling domestic violence allegations against former assistant coach Zach Smith and was subsequently suspended for three games to start the 2018 season.
Many speculated that Meyer’s ongoing health problems, combined with the scandal, could drive Meyer out of the program.
According to Pete Thamel of CBS Sports, the decision was driven by “a myriad of factors,” but that “foremost among them was his happiness with the state of the Ohio State program.”
Meyer has yet to indicate what he will do next, and his nonlinear path to Ohio State doesn’t provide a clear answer. Let’s take a look back at his roller-coaster past and what he may choose to do in the next stage of his career.

The Myers-Briggs Personality Types is an assessment that is based on the assumption that there are different attitudes and functions of consciousness.((The Myers-Briggs Personality Foundation: The Myers-Briggs Personality Types)) The attitudes determine the direction in which your conscious interests and energies flow. The phenomenon is based on Jung’s classification of personalities.Jung’s classification of personalities is based on two personality attitudes, (introversion and extroversion) and four functions that are divided into irrational functions (intuition and feeling) and rational functions (Judging and perceiving functions). The Myers-Briggs Personality Types helps you to evaluate and understand yourself: who you are, how you interact with other people, how you make decisions and your psychological preferences when it comes to dating.((Bustle: These Are The 3 Most Compatible Myers Briggs Types For You, Based On Your Myers Briggs))For instance, you can use the Myers-Briggs Personality types to help you determine what the common thread is among your exes and crushes and consequently discover the type of partner with whom you should be spending your life.
ENFPs account for 8% of the world’s population. The ENFPs are independent, energetic and compassionate. They make charming partners, and they readily express their reliability and devotion. They genuinely care for their partners and they are very sensitive to their partners’ needs.((One Love: What is Your Relationship Strength Based on Your Myers-Briggs Personality Type))Famous ENFPs include:
Here’re some of the major traits of ENFP:
ENFPs follow their inspiration wherever it leads.((Personality Relationship: Advice for Having a Successful ENFP Relationship)) They enjoy indulging in their imaginative and spirited side. An ENFP wants to explore every possible idea that comes to their mind. There is nothing an ENFP hates more than the feeling of being tied down, and they will not put their personal growth on the back burner. An ideal partner for an ENFP will engage them in new thoughts and ideas and expose them to scenarios that challenge them. Otherwise, the ENFP will start wondering if they should not be spending time with someone else.
ENFP individuals are characterized by their incredible ability to communicate. They are responsive to their partners’ emotions and constructively resolve issues since they have a good understanding of the people around them.
For the ENFP, the process of solving conflict concerns making everyone happy.((YourTango: Everything You Fear Most In A Relationship, Based On Your Personality Type))Even in a tough situation, ENFPs look beyond the obvious and see various possibilities. They are profoundly empathetic and they find it difficult to punish other people.
A good fit for an ENFP is a partner who is capable of going with the flow. Rigidity and strictness in the schedule of an ENFP partner will cause the relationship to fail.An ENFP partner should be flexible enough to travel and try new hobbies for the relationship to survive. The good thing is that since ENFPs love to make their partners happy, a partner’s efforts and sacrifices will be reciprocated.Being dumped by an ENFP is hard on some of the other personality types. They wonder if they will ever find someone that wonderful again. On the contrary, when ENFPs are rejected, they recover quickly and concentrate on new prospects. Oh, and they rebound quickly.
The most compatible personality types for ENFP are INTJ and INFJ.When it comes to dating and marriage, people are attracted to a partner who is strong in areas that they are weak. As such, ENFPs form very successful relationships with the INTJs and INFJs.
ENFPs and INTJs will hit it off and experience a natural spark because they both thrive in the world of ideas.((Psychology Junkie: When Opposites Attract – Why ENFPs and INTJs Fall for Each Other))For the ENFP, life is full of possibility and excitement, and they will have a contagious enthusiasm that will draw the INTJ in.The ENFP will also open up the INTJ’s mind to many possibilities that they may not have been previously aware of while the INTJs will harness the ideas and insights of ENFPs and give them clarity and focus to bring them to life.Since INTJs are reserved and introverted, they will find in the playful, and genuinely open-minded ENFPs comforting and delightful partners.
ENFPs and INFJs also form very successful relationships. Experts say that both ENFPs and INFJs are highly intuitive individuals and that even though they have some fundamental differences, they both have pieces that each desires.((Like an Anchor: Dating Your Mirror: ENFP and INFJ Relationships))While on the one hand, the INFJs want to be understood and to be helped to come out of their shell, the ENFPs genuinely love meeting the needs of their partners. This creates a great balance between the two partners.Further, even though the ENFPs are extroverted, the INFJs are more introspective, and they know how to help the ENFPs with their emotional growth. In fact, the ENFPs are the only partners that are persistent enough that they will get to really know an INFJ.Neither ENFPs nor INFJs enjoy conflict. So when they disagree on something, the efforts to come to a solution will rarely turn into a fight.
ESFJ: The ESFJs can get extremely pessimistic and discouraged under certain circumstances. As such, the ENFPs prove to be very understanding and supportive of them.ENFJ: ENFJs are profoundly perceptive and love to discuss meaningful topics. Just like ENFPs, they have excellent communication skills and therefore, ENFPs certainly enjoy their company.INTP: INTPs are thinkers, and they are into ideas and theories. Their relationships with the ENFPs work very well because the ENFPs have a natural ability for understanding people.
ENFPs and INFPs are equally passionate and yet considerably different because of how they perceive the world around them.
ENFPs love to talk and can indulge in talking endlessly. INFPs, on the other hand, are calm and reserved and they like to listen. This makes the two personality types perfect for each other.ENFPs are social animals. They love to make the people around them happy. The INFPs tend to stay behind the scenes. They are creative and artistic, and they, therefore, draw the ENFPs to them. Both personalities rely on intuition, and they can have deep discussions. The ENFPs and INFPs can communicate their feelings through unconventional ways, which will keep their spark alive.
ENTP: ENTPs are self-confident and can socialize with all people with uncompromising charm. They therefore make good partners with the ENFPs, who are social butterflies.ENTJ: The ENTJs are logical in their approach and love planning. They bring structure to the lives of the ENFPs.ISFP: The ISFPs are action oriented and believe in doing rather than thinking. They are a good fit for ENFPs since they can help them to achieve their goals.ESFP: Just like the ENFPs, the ESFPs love to experience new things and are often impulsive. As a result, they can get along with ENFPs.Of all the ENFPs, females are more than the males, in the ratio of 2:1
The Myers-Briggs Personality Types that would find it difficult to build any meaningful relationship with the ENFPs include ISTJs. The ISTJ-ENFP relationship has zero similarities and four differences.((Personality Central: The ISTJ-ENFP Relationship Joys and Struggles))
The ENFPs may feel that the ISTJs are too quiet and find communicating with them difficult. On the other hand, ISTJs may find the ENFPs too loud. In a social situation, ISTJs may also feel neglected and unheard by ENFPs.The ISTJs may prefer to have some quiet time at home while the ENFPs will enjoy heading out for social activities and other highly stimulating activities. This difference in preference would be a bone of contention in the relationship. The ENFPs may also find the ISTJs too controlling at times while the ISTJ will find the ENFP lack of planning and scheduling irritating. In addition, the ISTJs are more focused on the present while the ENFPs concentrate on the future. This may deprive a couple of shared goals and a common future to look forward to. Eventually, the couple will not have any chemistry.
ISTP: ISTPs are analytical, practical and realistic. They are also not good at handling emotions. The ENFPs might not find them appealing at all.ESTP: ESTPs are realists, and they are not enthusiastic on the emotional side. They are therefore unlikely to be compatible with the ENFPs.ESTJ: ESTJs have strong opinions, and they lack spontaneity. They are inflexible and may come off as controlling. They love traditions and routines and want to conduct the relationship the old-fashioned way. As a result, they do not get along with the ENFPs.ISFJ: ISFJs are not very future oriented. Indeed, they would rather rely on past experiences. This is a total contradiction to the ENFPs.
Having said all this, you should bear in mind that Myers-Briggs Types is just an instrument that gives you more information on people’s innate preferences. While knowing your own and other people’s preferences is a huge plus when it comes to relationships, nothing is cast on stone. You cannot dismiss a potential partner just because Myers-Briggs said that you are not compatible. Also, if you do not end up with someone whom you are compatible, you can use the Myers and Briggs Relationship Type to spark a debate about how you can meet halfway to build a more healthy relationship.Again, despite what the Myers-Briggs types indicates, ENFPs can enjoy satisfying relationships with any personality type if both of the partners are committed to personal growth and communicating effectively.Remember that there is more to relationships than simply meeting ‘the one’. Though you may have great chemistry and click to the moon and back, they are never a ‘meet the right one and ride off into the sunset’ type scenario. They take work in order to last and thrive. The Myers-Briggs type indicators are only indicators and aren’t a silver bullet to long lasting relationship bliss.

Here’s one revival we’ll always appreciate. Amy Poehler reunited with former Saturday Night Live co-star Seth Meyers on Wednesday, appearing on Late Night to resurrect their popular Weekend Update segment “Really!?!”
An irate Seth Meyers called out President Donald Trump on Wednesday for even attempting to suggest that his executive order regarding family separation fixes the damage done by his administration’s “zero tolerance” policy.
Meyers’ Closer Look focused on the controversial immigration policy that separates children from their parents at the southern border. The aforementioned executive order, which was signed into effect Wednesday, came after reports that upwards of 2,300 migrant children had already been taken from their parents.
“Let’s be clear about one thing: You don’t get credit for solving a problem when you’re the one who created the problem,” Meyers said. “Whether it’s the birther lie, or the ‘Mexicans are rapists’ lie, or the idea that Democrats are responsible for separating families, Trump’s paranoid fantasies are a Rosetta Stone for understanding what’s happening right now,” he argued, pointing to “state TV” Fox News, “which has spent the past week lying about the policy and trying to make you believe that what you see with your own eyes isn’t actually real.” Meyers then queued up a series of clips to defend his point, including Laura Ingraham referring to immigrant detention centers as “summer camps.”
“If you rip a child away from its parent and you put that child in a suite at the Ritz, you’re still a f—king monster,” Meyers continued. “The through line of Trump’s political career is blindingly clear: He concocts racist lies [and] uses dehumanizing language to justify cruelty towards immigrants and outsiders. It wasn’t an accident, it wasn’t a law, it was a choice by Trump and his supporters.
“Something you hear a lot on days like today… is that this is not who we are, but it is who we are right now,” he opined. “It might change tomorrow or the day after that, but today we are this. And you personally may not be this, but who we are is too often decided by those in power, which is why you vote. So remember, if you want who we are to match with who you are, you have to get up early and vote the next chance you have.”

Heahmund has made quite an impression since showing up in Vikings. Not only has he changed sides but he also ended up bedding widowed Queen Lagertha (played by Katheryn Winnick).
The dogmatic character depicted in the History show is fictional but he is based on a real-life Christian priest called Heahmund, who was indeed the Bishop of Sherborne.
The real Heahmund’s consecration took place between 867 and 868, according to the American network’s official website.
It also seems fair to say that the real Heahmund was something of a warrior himself.
The bishop fought against the Viking invasion and according to historical records he stood beside King Aethelred and Prince Alfred of Wessex in battle – similar to the start of season five.
He died in 871 at the Battle of Marton while it is believed he was battling King Halfdan Ragnarsson.
Sadly for fans of Lagertha and Heahmund, there’s said to be very little evidence to suggest that the pair even met in reality.
Similarly, while the real Heahmund and Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) did live at the same time, they’re not thought to have met.
Despite not following history closely, it looks like Meyers’ version of the bishop will be sticking around for a while yet.
“Because Jonathan Rhys Meyers has such an explosive performance in this role, it is likely that he has been given more opportunity to shine than the real Heahmund would have had in the history books,” states the History site.
Creator Michael Hirst said of his incarnation of Heahmund: “I needed a new character in the show, who could at least inspire some hope in these dismal times and when all the Saxon forces splintered and [were] incapable of responding to the Great Heathen Army.
“So here we have this rather glamorous knight, this warrior bishop as a possible redeeming feature for the Saxons and for England.”
Vikings wrapped up the first half of season five on January 24 with Moments of Vision.
US network History has yet to announce a return date for season five, which could be as early as the end of 2018.
Previously, season four was broadcast in April 2016 and the show was back on screens in November of that year.
When the show does come back, viewers can watch the concluding 10 episodes of the run.
As per usual, UK fans will be able to watch the new episode on Amazon Prime 24 hours its US premiere.
Despite no firm release date, fans were treated to a teaser from episode 11 which could be a game-changer for the show.
Vikings season 5 is expected to return later in 2018.

Seth Meyers came out guns blazing to open the 2018 Golden Globes.
With sexual misconduct allegations hovering over Hollywood for months, and almost everyone dressed in black to support the Time’s Up initiative, the late-night host addressed the elephant in the room right when he came on stage.
“Good evening ladies and remaining gentleman,” Meyers said to open the show. And he just went on from there.
“It’s 2018, marijuana is finally allowed and sexual harassment finally isn’t,” he said, adding that 2017 was the “year of big little lies and get out, and the television series ‘Big Little Lies’ and the movie ‘Get Out.'”
Here are a couple more jokes that broke up the audience at the Beverly Hilton:
Meyers also said that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which puts on the Golden Globes, did try to get a woman to host this year’s Globes, but then “they heard it would be held in a hotel,” referring to many accounts of sexual misconduct toward Hollywood women taking place in hotel rooms.
Donald Trump wasn’t safe in Meyers’ opening, either. When mentioning how Seth Rogen is a more important “Seth” in the room, the host added, “Remember when he was the guy making trouble with North Korea? Simpler times,” said Meyers.
Meyers’ friend Amy Poehler even got in on the mix, hilariously taking over a bit where he would say the set-up of a joke and then a woman in the audience would do the punchline.

One of the biggest reactions, though, was when Meyers did a joke about Harvey Weinstein, who sparked the current reckoning after The New York Times and The New Yorker revealed three decades of alleged sexual misconduct by the movie executive.
Meyers said that Weinstein would have his comeback to Hollywood “in 20 years when he’s the first person ever booed during the In Memoriam.”
And then Meyers ended his opening by getting serious, and recognizing women in the business who “had to work even harder” to build a career in the world of entertainment.
“I look forward to you leading us to whatever comes next,” Meyers said.
Celebrities then took to Twitter to praise Meyers’ opening:

The Trumpists also helpfully suggested some substitutions that might be more appropriate or helpful to these safe space-seeking snowflakes, including replacing “evidence-based” and “science-based” with (deep breath) “CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes.” So last night on Late Night, Seth Meyers presented a list of additional phrases the administration is probably considering banning, along with some helpful replacements. Take a look:

The Golden Globe Awards, the mostly laid-back award ceremony everyone half-watches while they wait impatiently fro the Oscars to eventually air, is about to land a new host. Comedian Seth Meyers is closing in on a deal to host The Golden Globe Awards telecast on January 7, 2018. How many jokes will he tell? All of them, probably. Learn more about the 2018 Golden Globes host below.
The end of the year is at hand, which means award season is approaching. Soon, the art of cinema will turn into a sporting event as films claw and scrape their way toward the glory of taking home an engraved trophy. What films, filmmakers, actors, actresses and more will land nominations? Who will walk home with coveted awards, and who will go home empty handed? These are questions we won’t know the answers to for a while, but we do know who will be hosting one of the award shows. Variety reports that Seth Meyers, former Saturday Night Live cast member and current host of Late Night With Seth Meyers, will be the Golden Globes host.
Per Variety, Meyers had been approached to host the show a while ago, but didn’t commit to the project until a few days ago. Had Meyers said no, Ellen DeGeneres and Tiffany Haddish were two other stars approached for the gig. Meyers is yet another late night talk show frontman to join the ranks of award show hosts. Last year’s Golden Globes were hosted by “funnyman” Jimmy Fallon, while Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the Academy Awards yet again.
Meyers is a safe choice. The comedian has forged his own unique voice on Late Night With Seth Meyers, and will likely bring a sense of calm mixed with deadpan humor to what will no doubt be an exceedingly uncomfortable award season – arriving at a time when Hollywood finds itself immersed in ever-increasing sexual harassment scandals. While Meyers will likely excel at the task at hand, you can’t help but wish that the aforementioned Tiffany Haddish had landed the job. Haddish is a star on the rise, and to hire her to host would’ve been exciting. Alas, it was apparently not to be.
That said, Meyers will probably do fine – although it’s worth noting the deal isn’t finalized yet. But should Meyers sign on the dotted line and host the Globes, he probably won’t be as great as 2013-2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, but he’ll definitely be less annoying than 2016 host Ricky Gervais. The 75th annual Golden Globes Award ceremony will air on January 7, 2018.

Seth Meyers hasn’t been known to hold back his feelings about President Trump, but he was especially candid during Late Night‘s newest “Closer Look” segment.
This time, Meyers zeroed in on Trump’s poor response to the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico, beginning the piece by saying, “We are witnessing once again the very real consequences of electing a lazy, ignorant racist as president.”
After critiquing POTUS for jetting off to his golf club on the same weekend that San Juan mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz pleaded for aid from the federal government, Meyers then turned to the president’s false tweet that “all buildings” in Puerto Rico had been inspected for safety.
“You know, it’s not fair of us to keep harping on the fact that Trump is dumb and lazy,” Meyers said. “Let’s not forget he’s also a liar, and any Trump crisis would not be complete without a bizarre and unnecessary lie fabricated out of whole cloth.”
But it wasn’t just the host who dressed Trump down for his failure to help Puerto Rico; Late Night writer Jenny Hagel, who is Puerto Rican, also contributed (with insults in Spanish!) to the 11-minute segment.
