To close off the show, the presenters had a debate about mittens seeing the icy chills the weather forecasted for the day. “Hood up, scarf on, hat on,” said Naga. “Gloves?” asked Mike Bushell “Mittens!” replied Jon, while Mike was baffled by the idea. “I had gloves and mittens on yesterday when I went for a walk,” said Naga. BBC Breakfast continues daily at 6am on BBC One. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! revealed it would be coming to viewers from Gwrych Castle in the Welsh countryside this year as opposed to its usual Australian jungle setting. And last night, fans of the show got their first taste of what would be in store during the latest series after ITV dropped a promo clip ahead of the upcoming series. But the clip jokes hosts Ant and Dec still haven’t been told they’re not in their normal location in a hilarious trailer. The show announced earlier this year it would be shunning its usual location and instead be filming in a castle in the programme’s biggest ever shake-up. And now, viewers have been given a first look at what’s to come after a trailer was released last night, filmed on-location earlier this month. The pair jokingly seem to not be aware the show has had a major location change. Stepping out a black cab, Ant says: “G’day Australia, Ah it’s great to be back Down Under.” READ MORE: Dec Donnelly’s cousin ‘heartbroken’ as he claimed family ignored him Out follows Dec, who pulls off an eye mask and remarks: “Wow that was quick, I must have slept through the whole flight.” Ant tries to hand over a bag full of ‘dingo dollars’ to the taxi driver after the trip. “There you go mate,” says the host. “Don’t spend it all at once.” “Series 20 and I still cannot understand a word these Aussies are saying,” Ant comments – still seeming not to realise they’re not in the Australian outback. Of course, fans of the long-running series were delighted to see the teaser trailer drop yesterday evening. In response to the clip after it was shared on Twitter, one wrote: “We all need this and you Ant and Dec!! Looking forward to a more challenging series for our celebs!! X” Another commented: “Going to miss it being in the jungle but hopefully still be a quality series this year. Hopefully, you guys will be back in Australia next year.” “Yay yay yay! So excited for this! It’s going to be different and I’m so excited,” shared a third fan. A fourth said: “Oh, my goodness, I can’t wait!!! Catherine the Great is Helen Mirren’s new period drama, chronicling the life of Russia’s longest-running female ruler. She plays the Empress of Russia in the new four-part drama following the latter part of her rule as well as her passionate love affair with Grigory Potemkin (played by Jason Clarke). Here’s everything fans need to know about where the series was filmed and set. Catherine the Great is a new HBO and Sky Atlantic mini-series set in 18th century Russia. Focusing on the latter part of the Russian ruler’s reign, the show picks up in the 1700s after Catherine (Helen Mirren) ousted her husband, Peter III. The series is set in the opulent palaces of Russia where Catherine spent her time with her court, advisors and her long-time lover Grigory Potemkin. Since it was released, the series has been praised for its epic sequences spanning contemporary Russia as well as its breathtaking shots. READ MORE: Catherine the Great: When does it start? How many episodes? These scenes were mostly filmed in Lithuania as well as some of the actual palaces across Russia. One of the real locations was the Peterhof Palace in Saint Petersburg, which was used in the first episode when Catherine and Lady Bruce (Gina McKee) first meet Potemkin. Episode two also used a location in Saint Petersburg called the Yusupov Palace Palace, which was the setting for the scenes at the theatre. One of the most iconic settings used was Catherine Palace in Pushkin, which is located around 30 kilometres from Saint Petersburg. READ MORE: Catherine The Great: Who was Russian queen’s lover Grigory Potemkin? This was reportedly the setting for the gold corridor that Catherine is seen walking through in a number of shots of the series. In an interview with Express.co.uk and other media, Potemkin actor Clarke revealed that one of his favourite shots was in the location of the gold palace ballroom in Catherine Palace. He said: “And the Russians, they were fantastic tours. There were a lot of ‘niets’ to begin with but they opened it up for us.” However, not all of the show was filmed in Russia, with a number of locations in Lithuania also doubling up for the real thing. These included the Pazaislis Monastery in Kaunas, which was used as the soldiers’ barracks as well as a number of shots filmed around Vilnius. Finally, the Baroque Rundale Palace in Latvia was also used for the cross-dressing ball at the end of episode one. The palace, which the real Catherine gave as a gift to Count Valerian Zubov was also the location for Countess Bruce’s quarters and a number of shots inside of the palaces. Gina McKee, who played Countess Bruce in the mini-series, also spoke about the experience of filming in these real locations. READ MORE: Catherine the Great: Is it based on a true story? She said: “They did allow us access to some of the palaces in Saint Petersburg and just outside of Saint Petersburg.” One of the most wonderful parts of filming for her was the moment in the first episode when the plates appear from underneath the table as that really part of the location they shot in. She added: “That is the genuine thing, it’s phenomenal the mechanics of that is is really worth the trip to see it’s staggering. “And she had that built as an intimate place to dine.” Catherine the Great airs on Thursdays at 9pm on Sky Atlantic and is available to stream in full on NOW TV. Game of Thrones first arrived on our screens back in 2011, propelling the likes of actors Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke, and Maisie Williams to stardom. The fantasy drama series is based on the fantasy novel series – A Song of Ice and Fire – by George RR Martin and takes place across fictional continents of Westeros and Essos. However, the show is filmed much closer to home with the filming headquarters based at Titanic Studios, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Belfast has been home to filming and production of Game of Thrones since the fantasy series first aired in 2011. Other filming locations have been used for for the series including Canada, Malta, Croatia, Iceland, Latvia, Morocco, Scotland, and Spain. Originally, the series was set to be filmed in Scotland but the show’s producers changed their mind about the country simply because Belfast had more availability of studio space. Alas, Scotland missed out on roughly £60million being pumped into the region’s economy in the early days of Game of Thornes according to the Scotland Herald. Instead, Doune Castle in Stirling, the original setting for the scenes of Winterfell in the pilot episode is now a distant memory with Belfast thriving off of all things dragons, sex, violence, and everything and anything wonderful and widely associated with the term ‘Game of Thrones’. Belfast, an incredible city, was formally and still does remain a tourist hotspot for those interested in the history of the Troubles and the home of the Titanic. Undeniably, Game of Thrones has transformed the city, propelling Belfast into the spotlight for something other than its dark, complicated and, at times, deadly past. Ahead of the Game of Thrones season eight premiere, searches for flights to Belfast increased by 215% according to Jetcost. Hotels.com also revealed it has seen a huge increase in hotel searches in Belfast during the final season. Since 2011, fans from across the globe have been flocking to the city to see the origins of their favourite show. According to Tourism NI, visitors to Northern Ireland pumped £2.5 million into the economy every day between 2017-2018. Tourism NI also estimated that GoT fans generated at least £30 million into the local economy last year. The show itself pumped millions into the economy and provided jobs for more than 6,000 people. Not only can tourists to Belfast visit the iconic Belfast City Hall, Titanic Belfast, Crumlin Road Goal, the Murals on Shankill Road, but they can also now take part in a GoT themed escape room, embark on numerous Game of Thrones sightseeing bus and taxi tours ‘to discover the real seven kingdoms’. The series is filmed in Titanic Studios Belfast and the city and surrounding areas serve as Westeros. As a result, the city has been able to build a booming tourism industry off the back of GoT. The Giant Causeway Coastal Route, which represents the Iron Islands in Game of Thrones, is now littered with GoT fans snapping pictures of The Wall and Castle Black – (real location Magheramorne Quarry) and the stairs where Ayra (played by Maisie Williams) crawled out safely, which are actually situated on Carnlough Harbour. Other locations on there include Larrybane beach which served as the location for the Kingsmoot when Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) made her final bid for the Salt Throne and Ballintoy beach where Balon Greyjoy’s (Krysten Coombs) funeral was held. On the route you can also visit the Dark Hedges in Ballymoney, belonging to The Kingsroad scene when Ayra disguised herself as a boy to avoid being captured, which all GoT fans will know, ultimately failed. Game of Thrones has also brought more filming and production to Belfast and even led to a new studio complex called Belfast Harbour Studios, which is home to Syfy’s Krypton. According to Northern Ireland Screen, Game of Thrones has spent more than £210 million in Belfast. Other activities across Northern Ireland allow you to can visit unique locations including The Cuan, a family-owned Hotel in the village of Strangford where the cast stayed during filming for season one. From there you can go into visit the home of Winterfell, Castle Ward, the home of the Starks in Game of Thrones. On the other hand, you can visit the Tollymore Forest Park, County Down where the White Walkers began their march into the realm of men through the Haunted Forest. Through Game of Thrones tours, which you can book online at Visit Northern Ireland, you can channel your inner Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and take archery lessons, whilst dressed in traditional Game of Thrones attire. In the city itself, you can visit Seaview Hall, where Brona Spencer’s jewellery shop is located. The store is where the Starks and the Lannisters accessories are made for the entire eight seasons. You can also embark on a Game of Thrones DIrewolf Tour, where you can meet the infamous direwolves Summer and Greywind. You can even download Northern Ireland Game of Thrones filming locations app to help you find the secret filming locations. Kit Harington AKA Jon Snow perhaps said it better himself when he was speaking to the Irish Sun about saying goodbye to Belfast after filming there for nine years. He said: “I saw it change from a place coming out of great unrest for far longer than I’ve even been alive through various efforts that the city and the country made. “That brought in shows like Game of Thrones, the new bars, new restaurants, and the new culture, I feel very privileged to have witnessed the transformation of the city over that period.” Game of Thrones season 8 airs on HBO in the US on Sundays 9pm ET and on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK on Mondays at 2am and 9pm BST This article contains affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission on any sales of products or services we write about. Dubrovnik in Croatia is one of the locations used as the setting of King’s Landing in Game of Thrones. King’s Landing settings like the palace gardens and the location of Cersei Lannister’s (played by Lena Headey) walk of shame can be visited in Croatia. To find out the best way for tourists to visit the Game of Thrones locations, we spoke to booking platform Klook, which allows tourists to book tours around the world. Anita Ngai, chief revenue officer at Klook, said: “Known better to Game of Thrones fans as the King’s Landing, the capital of Croatia, Dubrovnik, doubles up as the Westeros capital and is among the most popular sites for our travellers. “Many choose to visit the Trsteno Arboretum (King’s Landing palace gardens) or stroll around the Old Town where they can relive Cersei’s walk of shame.” Its booking platform even allows fans to relive a bit of Game of Thrones history. She said: “Travellers can also set sail on the exact ship that Daenerys Targaryen rode on while sipping on a Dragon blood cocktail.” However, she added that pre-booking of Game of Thrones tours is essential. “Most travellers pre-book the Game of Thrones filming locations tour around Dubrovnik where the guide will be available on-site to point out the exact spots where scenes were shot,” the Klook spokesperson told us. Croatia has become one of the most popular tourist destinations for Game of Thrones fans thanks to its association with King’s Landing. When asked about the popularity of the European city, Ngai said: “With the pristine waters of the Adriatic Sea and captivating ancient walled towns peppered across the country providing a treat to the eyes, it isn’t hard to see why Game of Thrones would pick Croatia as one of the main filming locations for the series. “Dubrovnik, in particular, is a crowd favourite. Stepping foot into the city feels like entering into medieval times.” “Despite the Game of Thrones series taking place in a world of fantasy, it is clear to see that the story is set in a time well before contemporary designs. “The ancient city with its well-preserved architecture that has yet to feel the impact of modernisation makes it perfect for Game of Thrones.” Dubrovnik also is home to a number of other Game of Thrones locations. The area around Pile Gate, for example, plays Blackwater Bay in the series, while the city of Qarth, in reality, is Lokrum Island, 600 metres off the mainland of Croatia. The highest point of Dubrovnik is Mineeta Tower, which became the House of the Undying in Game of Thrones. Other parts of King’s Landing like the Red Keep, however, were filmed not in Croatia but in Malta. It’s been an ongoing task that started with hunting down and completing all parts of the Snowfall challenge. Having unlocked the Prisoner skins, fans then had to work out how to complete each stage, with their being four designs available. Most of these have included visiting special locations while wearing the skin in Battle Royale mode. And Epic Games have finally added the place needed to unlock the Fortnite Prisoner Stage 4 outfit. Like other unique outfits, the Snowfall skin can be evolved over time, with stage 4 thought to be the final design. So here is how and where to unlock the Prisoner Skin Stage 4 THE PRISONER STAGE 4 LOCATION A new location has been created by the recent earthquakes that have been hitting the map. These started around Dusty Divot and eventually started forming cracks in the earth near the Tomato Temple. Now, players need to head over to a hill found in the north-east area of the map, not far from the cliff edge. The final Fortnite Prisoner stage 4 location can be found in the 2-I map coordinate, Which should be easy to spot from the air. The new site comes complete with ritual firepots and stone slabs and doesn’t appear to warrant any huge tasks. Players just need to make into the circle of pots and wait a moment, fires should spark up around, and you should have finally unlocked the stage 4 skin. This final phase began on Saturday and should remain in place until the end of Season 7. That means anyone who is trying to catch up and finish each stage should still have time to complete the final design. There’s always the chance that Epic Games will have a secret stage 5 worked out for the final week. However, so far there has been no evidence found by data miners to suggest Epic has something like that planned. We should learn more about the Season 7 ending next week when a new update is released. This will no doubt contain information on what new events might be coming, as the Prisoner appears to be part of it. Many now refer to him as the Fire King and could be a big part of how the seasonal end event roles out. Map changes are expected, and there have been hints that a fiery tornado could be unleashed on the map. There have also been persistent rumours suggesting a volcano too and a massive biome change. This would make sense as it is something that happened with the introduction of the Ice King during Season 7. It’s been rumoured that the prisoner and the ice king will face off at the end of Fortnite season 7, resulting in a monster appearing from the deep. Fortnite data miner @lucas7yoshi_ has uncovered in the update 7.40 files mention of a mysterious Kracken event. The good news is that fans won’t have long to wait to find out what Epic Games has planned, as we edge closer to the finish line. Fortnite season 8 could launch as soon as February 28, which is when Fortnite season 7 finishes.

An alleged hitman has learned hard lessons about the the value of GPS data on fitness watches. A Liverpool jury has found Mark Fellows guilty of the 2015 murder of mob boss Paul Massey in part thanks to location info from the accused’s Garmin Forerunner. An expert inspecting the watch’s info discovered that Fellows had recorded a 35-minute trip that took him to a field just outside Massey’s home ahead of the murder. He appeared to be scouting the route he would take later to perform the hit, a claim supported by cell site and CCTV evidence showing Fellows driving his car past Massey’s house numerous times in the week before the slaying.
Massey’s murder had gone unsolved until the 2018 killing of his associate John Kinsella, where surveillance footage showed Fellows biking a similar scouting route before pulling the trigger. That led law enforcement to see if there were any connections to the Massey case. Fellows had a GPS jammer in his car when police investigated in 2018, suggesting that he knew enough to avoid location data at some point — just not while he was scouting Massey three years earlier.
The judge in the case has sentenced Fellows to life in prison. While there likely won’t be anyone lamenting Fellows’ mistake, his conviction illustrates how many people don’t think about the positioning info their devices collect. Whether or not that information reaches the internet (it didn’t here), it still creates a record that you might not want to keep.
