developer Epic Games has released another wave of challenges for Season 7, which means there’s a brand new secret Battle Star banner to find.

Epic Games releases seven Battle Royale challenges each week. Three of the weekly challenges are available for free and the other four challenges are exclusive to Battle Pass users.

The challenges are also separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Earning Battle Stars levels up your Battle Pass, which is how you unlock all of the rewards on offer.

You can even earn an additional Battle Star or banner by completing all seven challenges and unlocking a special loading screen (above).

If you look closely at the Week 5 loading screen, you’ll see a Battle Star in the background. We’ve circled the banner in the image below.

As with all Season 7 Snowfall challenges, the secret Battle Star can be found within the snow biome.

The exact location is west of Happy Hamlet and south of Frosty Flights. Just set your marker to the southern part of B9 on the map. You can see it for yourself in the image above.

It’s worth remembering that you’ll need to complete all of the challenges to unlock the loading screen and banner.

The full list of Season 7, Week 5 challenges can be seen below.

Fortnite Week 5 Free challenges:

• Land at Polar Peak (Stage 1) (1)

  – Land at Fatal Fields (Stage 2) (1)

  – Land at Tomato Temple (Stage 3) (1)

  – Land at Loot Lake (Stage 4) (1)

  – Land at Snobby Shores (Stage 5) (1)

• Deal Damage to Opponent’s Structures (5000)

• Suppressed Weapon Eliminations (3) (HARD)

Fortnite Week 5 Battle Pass challenges:

  – Dance on top a Ranger Tower (1) (Stage 2)

  – Dance on top of an Air Traffic Control Tower (1) (Stage 3)

• Search Chests at Wailing Woods or Paradise Palms (7)

• Search between a Giant Rock Man, a Crowned Tomato and an Encircled Tree (1) (HARD)

• Eliminate an Opponent from closer than 5m away – (3) (HARD)

For those that aren’t aware, Epic Games launches seven Battle Royale challenges each week, and sometimes they throw in a secret battle star to sweeten the pot.

To do this, players must complete all seven challenges released today, which will unlock the next phase of the bonus Snowfall Challenge.

This is a mini story event that is told through hidden Loading Screens, which are unlocked when a player has completed all seven challenges.

And in that special Loading Screen is a hidden clue that offers players the chance of finding the location of the Week 3 secret battle star.

The challenges are also separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty, the harder tier offering ten Battle Stars and the regular rewarding fans with five.

WEEK 3 SECRET BATTLE STAR LOCATION AND LOADING SCREEN

Week 3 includes a special loading screen that offers all the clues you need for tracking down the secret battle star.

The Snowfall Challenge will run for several weeks and will culminate in the launch of a special skin that’s only available to those who have completed every single one.

This week’s loading screen shows Sgt Winter filling his plane with presents, with AIM robots helping out.

And the secret battle star can be just spotted hanging out on a shelf, just right of Winter’s elbow.

This is where players will find the battle star after they complete all seven challenges from week 3.

That means finding and raiding the hangers in the southwest of the map, in the Frosty Flights location.

This can be found on the edge of the 8-B map marker, very close to the frosty cliffs.

Fans will want to check the hanger that is left of the big Christmas tree and focus on the shelves.

One of these shelves should include the secret battle star you seek.

As mentioned above, Fortnite fans will need to complete all seven week 3 challenges before they can find the extra battle star.

There is no point trying to track it down until this, as it won’t appear and will remain hidden.

It should also be noted that you must have a Season 7 battle pass to complete all the challenges, so if you haven’t, there is no need to go on this search.

You can check out the full list of Fortnite Week 3 challenges below.

• Ride a Zipline in different matches (5)

• Stage 1: Land at Lonely Lodge (1)

• Legendary weapon eliminations (HARD) (2)

Battle Pass Challenges

• Search chests at Polar Peak or Tomato Temple (7)

• Ring the doorbell in different named locations in a single match (2)

• Search between three Ski Lodges (1) (Hard)

• Stage 1: Deal damage with Shotguns to opponents (HARD) (200)

Kids require a lot of gear — strollers, diapers and toys, just to name a few. So where do you put all that gear when you’re driving? This is a question that newly engaged couple Tara and Craig have been pondering.

“We want it to be cool and kind of fast, because we both like fast cars.”

Craig Tovey

And it’s not only about where to put the gear, but also how to look cool while doing it. “No minivan,” says Tara. “We do not want a minivan.” Craig adds, “We want it to be cool and kind of fast, because we both like fast cars.”

Jim Manelis, Chase Auto executive, hears the couple loud and clear. “In all the categories today,” says Manelis, “most manufacturers offer a performance version of their standard vehicle.”

Lucky for Tara and Craig, there are plenty of options out there that are not only fast and cool, but will also keep their most precious cargo safe and secure.

The first batch of fuel was loaded on Friday into a new power unit of the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in China, Russia’s Rosatom Corporation said. The new power unit is the station’s fourth, and was built in close cooperation with Moscow. All the powerhouses at the station are VVER-1000s, iconic Russian-made water-water energetic reactors. The third power unit at the Tianwan station was launched back in December 2017.

Fortnite secret Battle Star: Hidden Road Trip loading screen map location for week 6 https://briefnews.eu/fortnite-secret-battle-star-hidden-road-trip-loading-screen-map-location-for-week-6/ https://briefnews.eu/fortnite-secret-battle-star-hidden-road-trip-loading-screen-map-location-for-week-6/#respond Thu, 16 Aug 2018 11:17:29 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/fortnite-secret-battle-star-hidden-road-trip-loading-screen-map-location-for-week-6/

The  secret Battle Star for week 6 has been discovered after the Road Trip loading screen that shows the hidden location was leaked ahead of launch.

For those not in the know, Fortnite season 5 features bonus challenges in the Battle Pass.

If you complete every Fortnite weekly challenge then you have the chance to get hold of a secret Battle Star.

The location of this Fortnite Battle Star is hidden away in the loading screen that unlocks once you complete every challenge for that week.

Ahead of the latest Fortnite challenges officially going live the Fortnite week 6 loading screen has been leaked.

And with it Fortnite fans have figured out where the secret Battle Star is hidden on the latest loading screen for week 6.

One of those who figured out a solution for how to find the Fortnite week 6 secret Battle Star was YouTuber OmniPie.

In a video posted online he showed the Fortnite week 6 Road Trip loading screen.

It shows characters, including Drift and Brite Bomber, kicking back and drinking a few Slurp Juices by a cinema screen.

However, the iconic yellow Battle Star is nowhere to be seen at first glance.

But when OmniPie zoomed in he noticed that the Battle Star was appearing on the Road Trip week 6 loading screen – but it was cheekily faded out.

The Fortnite secret Battle Star was appearing on the back of a pickup truck just above a drinks cooler.

As OmniPie explained, the only cinema screen on the Fortnite Battle Royale map is the one by Risky Reels.

However, that cinema screen is broken and worn out whereas the one pictured in the loading screen looks new and fully operational.

Could this be a sign that this section of the Fortnite Battle Royale map is set to change in future?

At any rate that is where you’ll need to head to find the secret Battle Star.

It should be on the back of the old-school red pickup truck in the first row of cars right in front of the movie screen.

The Fortnite cinema screen can be found in the north east section of the Battle Royale in map in square H2.

Completing the latest Fortnite secret Battle Star challenge will reward Battle Royale players with a generous 10 Battle Stars.

That is enough to level up an entire tier in the Fortnite Battle Pass.

Fortnite Battle Royale Season 5 is here, complete with a list of brand new weekly challenges.

As part of the big Season 5 update, Epic Games has made three of the weekly challenges available for free and the other four challenges exclusive to Battle Pass users.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty  challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Earning Battle Stars levels up your Battle Pass, which is how you unlock all of the rewards on offer.

Season 5 also features bonus challenges that will net players specific items. The Road Trip challenges are similar to Blockbuster challenges from Season 4.

The Road Trip tier rewards players with special loading screens for fully completing all weekly challenges. These loading screens feature hidden Battle Star clues.

Drift Challenges, meanwhile, reward players with new costume pieces for earning XP. Earning enough XP to complete four out of five tiers unlocks a special Harvesting Tool.

The latest Battle Star can be found sprayed on the wall behind the swimming pool.

It’s by the camel drinking through a straw, which fans might recognise from Paradise Palms.

Fortnite hidden star map locations: ALL Blockbuster loading screen challenges solved https://briefnews.eu/fortnite-hidden-star-map-locations-all-blockbuster-loading-screen-challenges-solved/ https://briefnews.eu/fortnite-hidden-star-map-locations-all-blockbuster-loading-screen-challenges-solved/#respond Wed, 04 Jul 2018 12:29:55 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/fortnite-hidden-star-map-locations-all-blockbuster-loading-screen-challenges-solved/

Fortnite developer Epic Games added Blockbuster challenges as part of its season 4 update.

As long-time fans will know, Epic releases a new set of seven Battle Pass challenges each week. Fans need to complete any four of these challenges to be rewarded with 4,000 XP.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty. The hard difficulty  challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Blockbuster challenges give players extra incentive to complete all of the weekly challenges, because the game rewards you with a special loading screen for each week.

These loading screens contain hidden clues that point towards a secret Battle Star on the map.

Not only that, but they also tell a story linked to the end of season 4 and the beginning of season 5.

Check out the gallery above for a look at the Blockbuster loading screens and the locations of the hidden Battle Stars….

The seventh and final loading screen challenge features an appearance by The Visitor.

The hidden star can just about be seen in the background, above the mysterious new character’s landing pod. Fans can find this star by entering the lab in the middle of Dusty Divot.

Provided you’ve completed all of the challenges, you’ll find the star atop the shuttle inside the lab.

Anybody skilled enough to have completed all seven Blockbuster challenges will be rewarded with the customisable Visitor skin.

Fans who completed all of the week 8 challenges were rewarded with another loading screen, although this hints more at the direction of season 5.

The screen sees the Visitor preparing to launch the rocket, which hit the skies above the Fortnite map over the weekend.

Since the launch of the missile, cracks have started to appear in the sky.

Some believe the cracks represent an inter-dimensional portal, while others believe it’s some kind of time warp.

The crack is already making its mark on the world, as items begin to disappear from the map. The Tomato Town mascot has disappeared entirely, alongside the Lonely Lodge sign and the motel sign.

Fortnite secret battle star hunt update ahead of Blockbuster Week 8 loading screen news https://briefnews.eu/fortnite-secret-battle-star-hunt-update-ahead-of-blockbuster-week-8-loading-screen-news/ https://briefnews.eu/fortnite-secret-battle-star-hunt-update-ahead-of-blockbuster-week-8-loading-screen-news/#respond Thu, 21 Jun 2018 06:21:16 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/fortnite-secret-battle-star-hunt-update-ahead-of-blockbuster-week-8-loading-screen-news/

Epic Games have provided extra weekly challenges to those Fortnite Battle Royale fans who think they can complete all the tasks laid out in front of them.

Season 4 saw new Blockbuster challenges added to the game, with the main of providing players with a secret battle star location.

By completing all seven weekly challenges, Fortnite players can unlock a special loading screen.

This loading screen provides clues to a secret star, which can be found on the map, and add an extra battle tier.

The extra layer to this challenge was confirmed earlier this month when it was revealed that by solving all the Blockbuster loading screens, you unlock a special skin.

But when it comes to the Week 8 loading screen challenge, fans believe something might be changing.

Having seen the usual challenge prize arrive early, Fortnite gamers have had plenty of time to look over the Fortnite Week 8 Blockbuster loading screen.

However, having looked at the available evidence, no one was able to find the hidden star location.

This has led to the working theory that there will be no more secret stars found in the loading screens.

Instead, the loading screens will now provide clues on what’s coming next in Season 5.

As fans have already unlocked the Blockbuster “Visitor” skin last week, it would make sense that Epic Games were moving onto something new.

It should be mentioned that this is just a working theory among fans and hasn’t been confirmed by the development team, who could be doing something different.

When it comes to what the missile will actually do to the map, some believe it will destroy the movie set, found in Moisty Mire.

This is linked back to a much older leak from a supposed insider, who claimed that more subtle changes to the map would be made in Season 4.

As mentioned above, The seventh and final loading screen challenge features an appearance by The Visitor.

The secret star can just about be seen in the background, above the mysterious new character’s landing pod.

As regular Fortnite players now, the weekly challenges have been leaking in advance of it going officially live on Thursday in the season 4 Battle Pass.

These Fortnite challenges have been leaking every Saturday and have been sourced by dataminers going through the Battle Royale game files.

Because these challenges have been sourced directly from Fortnite files, they have invariably turned out to be completely accurate.

The only exceptions have been when Fortnite challenges have leaked early, so they’re listed as tasks for one week when it’s in fact for a later week.

However the leaked list of Fortnite week 8 challenges currently have two blanks.

Here is the Fortnite week 8 leaked challenges list, as sourced by Fortnite Tracker:

  • Deal Headshot damage to opponents (250)
  • Search treasure chests in Salty Springs (7)
  • Search 7 chests in a single match (7)
  • TBD
  • Search between… (HARD) (1)
  • Suppressed Weapon eliminations (HARD) (3)
  • Eliminate opponents in Pleasant Park (HARD) (3)
