That is the view of Chelsea legend Dennis Wise, who expects the Blues to move for a striker in the window. Chelsea have laboured in front of goal this season, with Eden Hazard their main man up top. That is despite Blues boss Maurizio Sarri having Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud in his squad. **PREDICT FIVE RESULTS AND WIN £25,000 – FREE TO PLAY HERE** Both Morata and Giroud are struggling for goals and Sarri is expected to address that issue. And Wise believes the answer to their problems lie in Lewandowski or Vardy. “Chelsea will want a striker,” Wise exclusively told Express Sport. “Someone who can score goals and at the moment we haven’t got someone who will get 25 goals a season. “Unfortunately not loads of them about, so it’s about getting the right one. “There are a couple of goalscorers they should be willing to pay for, like Lewandowski or Jamie Vardy.” Lewandowski has been linked with a move to the Premier League before – namely Manchester United. But no English side has so far been successful in prising the Poland international out of Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old boasts a staggering 22 goals for club and country this season and was once a target of Real Madrid. Bayern are third in the Bundesliga and would be loathe to sell their star man Lewandowski at this stage in the season – especially considering his goalscoring prowess right now. As for Vardy, the 31-year-old has scored just five times in 15 appearances for Leicester this season. The Foxes look good to avoid the drop this term but Vardy is well under contract at the King Power Stadium. Vardy almost left Leicester for Arsenal after their 2016 Premier League title triumph – and 12 months later was subject to interest from Chelsea. But again, the striker stayed put. Whether Leicester would be tempted by a big offer from Chelsea it is not clear. But the Blues are expected to hand Sarri cash in the window to bolster their title charge. As for Morata, he could be put on the market and sold at the right price, with the Spaniard having never managed to hit top form at Stamford Bridge. He cost Chelsea £60m in 2017 and Juventus would be an ideal destination for the striker – although the Italian giants are currently fully-stocked up front. Former Chelsea player, Dennis Wise, presented Harry Redknapp with kwiff’s inaugural ‘Sportsperson with a Personality Award’ The Spanish giants not only want to sign Chelsea’s £200 million Belgian World Cup superstar Eden Hazard – but have targeted Bayern Munich’s Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, who is also on the London club’s radar this summer. Rea, who have seen Cristiano Ronaldo switch to Juventus this week, are desperate to bring in star names to replace him – and Hazard, who Chelsea are determined not to sell but who has yet to sign a new deal and has once again hinted that this could be the time to leave, is top of their list. Lewandowski, wanted by both Manchester United and Chelsea, has said that he is likely to stay in Germany, but Real are expected to test that resolve with a massive bid. Juventus have indicated they are willing to swap their Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain for unhappy Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, but it is understood Lewandowski was the No.1 pick for Sarri. Lewandowski had a poor World Cup for Poland, but has hit 180 goals in 157 games for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern. Meanwhile, Sarri has viewed to bring the fun back to Chelsea’s football this season, after the arguments and controversy of Antonio Conte last few months in charge. The Italian, who took his first training session with his squad yesterday, said: “With one or two adjustments we can try to play my football. First of all I want to enjoy myself, the players have to enjoy themselves, and I hope that the fans can enjoy the team. “I want to be proud of the team. I want to enjoy myself and also to win something. “There will be 100% hard work, and 90% fun. I will give all my possessions to win something with Chelsea.” Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager to then-presidential nominee Donald Trump, has angered critics after mocking a story of a disabled migrant being separated from her mother. READ MORE: Campaign manager who ‘let Trump be Trump’ unceremoniously dumped During an appearance on Fox News, Lewandowski responded to a story of a 10-year-old girl with Down Syndrome being taken from her mother and placed in caged detention in Texas by saying “womp, womp” – an onomatopoeic phrase sometimes heard in cartoons. Fellow panelist Zac Petkanas, a former adviser on the Democratic National Committee, then became enraged, shouting as the interview descended into cross-talk. Lewandowski continues to make his point, saying: “When you cross the border illegally, when you commit a crime, you are taken away from your family because that’s how this country works.” The girl’s case was originally highlighted by Mexico’s Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray in an interview with CNN. Videgaray said the girl had been travelling with her mother and brother when the children were separated from their mother by border police. The children were then sent to a detention center in McAllen, Texas, while their mother was sent to Brownsville, an hour away. Their father, a legal US resident, is working with the US consulate to get the girl released. READ MORE: Trump campaign manager arrested for assaulting Breitbart reporter Lewandowski worked as campaign manager for Trump during the US president’s 2016 campaign. In March 2016, he was charged with one count of battery, by the Jupiter Police Department in Florida, for grabbing a female reporter who was attempting to ask Trump a question. Later that month, he again drew criticism after appearing to roughly grab a protester by the collar at a campaign event. He departed the Trump campaign in June 2016 following reports that his influence had waned. The clip has drawn scorn online with commentators taking to Twitter to condemn Lewandowski’s comments and behavior. The Poland World Cup striker wants to leave Bayern after four years at the Bundesliga giants, following a fallout with coach Jupp Heynckes. The 29-year-old is also being chased by Manchester United and Paris St Germain, as a Europe-wide chase for his signature opened up yesterday on his announcement that his time at Bayern could now be up having won the title four years in succession. Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi said: “Robert feels he needs a change and a new challenge in his career. The managers of Bayern know about it. “His reasons are not money or a specific club, as nearly all top clubs would like to have the world’s best striker in their ranks.” “Every one of the Bayern leadership had great careers themselves. They should understand his situation.” Zahavi has had firm links with Chelsea for many years and is a close associate of Stamford Bridge owner Roman Abramovich, which should give the FA Cup holders a major advantage in the race for the Polish star – though the £80m price tag could prove a major snag. Sources close to Lewandowski, who has three years left on his contract, have confirmed to Express Sport that Chelsea are one of the clubs who have registered interest in the striker. The 29-year-old, who is currently preparing for the World Cup, has scored more than 40 goals in all competitions in each of the last three seasons. He was the top scorer in the Bundesliga last term with 29 goals in 30 games and will not be short of suitors. Chelsea are pushing ahead with their transfer business even though they are still in the middle of a process of moving on one manager in Antonio Conte, and bringing in another in the shape of Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri. Transfer targets for this summer have already been identified, Lewandowski among them, alongside Anthony Martial and Jean Michel Serri, and representatives of the players have been told that a decision will have been made by the beginning of June. Sarri’s deal with Napoli still has two years to run and has not been terminated despite the appointment of former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti as his replacement. Chelsea are still in talks with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is insisting they pay the £7m required to free Sarri under the terms of his breakout clause. That runs out today, and Sarri could then resign, which would cost around £500,000 – although Chelsea would still have to pay compensation of around £3.5m. It is believed Sarri has targets of his own he wants to bring in if his appointment is eventually confirmed, among them Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain and Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. Chelsea, who have also spoken to former PSG coach Laurent Blanc, are also in talks with Conte’s representatives over the £9m they will owe him if he is, as expected, dismissed this summer, with a year still left of his contract.

Corey Lewandowski, a former top Trump campaign aide, may have helped expose allegations that former White House staff secretary Rob Porter abused his two ex-wives, a charge enhanced by new reporting in New York Magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi’s Sunday profile of outgoing White House communications director Hope Hicks.
Nuzzi’s sources said that Lewandowski, who was fired from the campaign after allegedly grabbing a female reporter by the arm, was motivated in part by his “unusual preoccupation” with Hicks, who he used to date and who was in a relationship with Porter when the publication of the abuse accusations forced him to resign.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

WASHINGTON (AP) — A singer and potential congressional candidate said Tuesday that she has filed a sexual assault complaint against President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager for hitting her twice on her buttocks during a Washington gathering in November.
Joy Villa, a Trump backer who wore a “Make America Great Again” dress at the Grammys this year, said she plans to meet with detectives in Washington next week about the complaint against Corey Lewandowski.
In a phone interview from Tampa, Florida, Villa said she was initially reluctant to come forward because she was worried about any backlash. But she said she called Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department on Christmas Eve after a friend who witnessed the incident spoke about it publicly, and other friends urged her to come forward.
“I didn’t know him at all,” Villa said about Lewandowski. “I only knew him by reputation. He broke my trust.”
She said she saw him at a gathering at the Trump International Hotel on the day after Thanksgiving, and said Lewandowski struck her “extremely hard” even after she told him to stop. She said she felt it was “disgusting and shocking and demeaning.”
Villa, who is considering a run for a Florida congressional seat, said she initially thought it was sexual harassment, but police told her that touching someone on any body part that is sexual in nature constituted sexual assault. She said she was told it was classified as a misdemeanor.
“I was initially fearful to come forward with this,” she said, adding that she did not want to bring shame or embarrassment on Lewandowski’s family or hers.
“I did nothing wrong,” Villa said. “I realized if he’s not going to respond or apologize to me, I think it’s the right thing to do.”
Lewandowski did not respond to an email seeking comment.
Villa made news earlier this year when she wore a dress displaying Trump’s campaign slogan at the Grammys. She explained her decision to wear the dress in an Instagram post, writing, “You can either stand for what you believe in or fall for what you don’t.” She added, “agree to disagree.”
This is not the first time Lewandowski has faced police charges. In March 2016 he was charged with misdemeanor battery for an altercation involving a female reporter after a news conference in Florida. The charges were later dropped.
Trump fired him as campaign manager in June 2016.

Singer-songwriter Joy Villa has accused Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, of sexual misconduct. Villa said Lewandowski slapped her on the butt during a holiday party at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC last month.
Villa’s allegations, outlined in a Politico report published Friday night, said that Lewandowski slapped Villa on the butt a second time after she protested the unwanted gesture and threatened to report him. “Go ahead, I work in the private sector,” Lewandowski replied according to Villa. “It was completely demeaning and shocking,” she said.
Villa may be best-known for wearing a gown emblazoned with the Trump campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again” at the Grammy Awards in February.
Lewandowski made headlines in March 2016 when he was charged with misdemeanor battery related to an incident in which he was accused of manhandling former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.
Since leaving the Trump campaign in June that year, Lewandowski has remained close to the president’s inner circle. Lewandowski this week participated in an Oval Office meeting with Trump and his aides during which Lewandowski reportedly complained that his calls to the White House were not being returned.

Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, is upset that his calls to the White House are not being returned.
That anecdote was part of a broader Washington Post story about the hand-wringing among Trump’s allies over the administration’s political prospects for 2018. In it, Lewandowski was among several of Trump’s close associates who met with the president in the Oval Office on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming midterm elections and the electoral losses the Republican Party has suffered in recent months.
One pain point for Lewandowski, was that his calls to the White House were not being returned, according to people with knowledge of the discussions who were cited by The Post. Chief of Staff John Kelly has made a point of moderating access to Trump since he was appointed to the position after Reince Preibus’ resignation in July.
During the Wednesday meeting, Lewandowski also griped about the Republican National Committee, which he said was not serving the president well, according to the report.
The former Trump campaign manager, who parted ways with the campaign in June 2016, has remained an outside adviser to Trump and is still looped in with the Trump administration to some degree, as evidenced by The Post’s reporting. But his influence appears to have waned.
Writing of the response to Lewandowski’s impassioned Oval Office appeals this week, the newspaper’s Josh Dawsey and Robert Costa wrote: “White House aides bristled at the outside adviser’s attempt to steer the political strategy.” A heated conversation between Lewandowski and White House political director Bill Stepien away from the Oval Office also hammered on Lewandowski’s “meddling” from the outside.

Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump’s controversial former campaign manager, called First Lady Melania Trump “beautiful” multiple times while defending the president’s interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Group of 20 Summit in Germany.
During an appearance on Fox & Friends on Wednesday, Lewandowski, who was let go from the Trump campaign in June 2016 and now runs a political consulting firm in DC, argued the president’s second, undisclosed meeting with Putin during a dinner for world leaders and their spouses was the result of the first lady being seated next to the Russian leader.
“Our best representative, who is stunningly beautiful and incredibly intelligent, sat next to Vladimir Putin at the request of the German chancellor,” Lewandowski said. “She had a conversation with Vladimir Putin. He was her dinner partner for a few hours. Big deal.”
Lewandowski said the encounter between Trump and Putin, who held their first official meeting earlier that day, was innocent, and does not deserve the criticism it has received from liberals and the media.
“And then you know what the president did, our president? He got up and he walked over and he saw his beautiful wife, the first lady of the United States, and he had a conversation with her,” Lewandowski went on. “How is this anything other than the president of the United States going over and seeing the first lady, who by the way, speaks five languages, is incredibly beautiful, and is incredibly intelligent, and is a great representative of our country?”

Lewandowski managed to call the first lady “beautiful” three times in under 40 seconds. Later in the interview, Lewandowski inflated the number of languages Melania Trump speaks to “5, 6, 7 languages.” Besides English and her native Slovenian, the first lady says she speaks Serbian, French, and German.
The informal meeting, which reportedly lasted as long as an hour, involved the Kremlin’s interpreter, and was not disclosed by the US government, aroused the attention of other leaders, who reportedly thought it strange that an American president would pay special attention to the Russian leader.

Yes, in an ideal world, they would no doubt like the German striker and Real Madrid superstar – which top team wouldn’t? – but neither deal is, realistically, going to happen.
United have denied suggestions they have had preliminary talks with Lewandowski’s representatives following claims he was disappointed Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti didn’t do more to help him win the Bundesliga Golden Boot award in the final game of the season.
Sources close to Bayern say the player – who signed a new contract that ties him to the Allianz until 2021 only last December – is happy with them and they have no intention of selling one of Europe’s top strikers and a player crucial to their hopes of recapturing the Champions League.
Even if they did consider selling, the asking price would be over £100m.
Surprise, surprise, there are now reports in Spain that Ronaldo is having a “re-think” on quitting Real after his camp suggested he was intent on leaving after being accused of tax fraud.
United’s fans may have got excited by the prospect of his return but the club, having been led down that path before, have been more cautious, quite apart from knowing the sums involved in any transfer simply do not add up.
United are understood to be sticking to the list of transfer targets that Jose Mourinho handed to executive vice chairman Ed Woodward before the end of last season.
Top of that list remains Alvaro Morata, who Mourinho wants to replace the injured and departed Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
United are baulking at Real’s asking price of £79m. They value the striker at £60m and believe at that price he represents better value than another target, Romelu Lukaku.
Their interest in the Belgian has cooled because of Everton’s £100m valuation and they are not keen to get into an auction with Chelsea.
There are also haggling with Inter Milan over the price for attacking wide man Ivan Perisic. United are understood to have offered £26m for the Croatian international while Inter are holding out for nearer £35m.
But what is in United’s favour is the Italian club’s need to break even after breaching UEFA’s financial fair play rules in 2015.
Willian is an alternative but Chelsea are unlikely to want to sell to a Premier League rival while United have distanced themselves from reports linking them with Real’s James Rodriguez.
Long-serving Michael Carrick, who is 36 this summer, may have extended his contract by another year, but Mourinho is understood to be looking for a new midfield anchor man.
Prising Eric Dier out of Tottenham will prove nigh on impossible so Mourinho could turn to Nemanja Matic if former club Chelsea are willing to sell.
Having signed Victor Lindelof from Benfica to play alongside Eric Bailly, Mourinho is happy with his central defenders – and with Marcos Rojo out for the first half of the season he is not looking to off load either Chris Smalling or Phil Jones.
He is happy with Antonio Valenica at right back and will give injury-plagued Luke Shaw another chance to prove he can be United’s long-term left back.
But Mourinho will buy another full-back if Matteo Darmian – who can perform well on either flank – asks to go back to Italy where Juventus have identified him as their No.1 choice to replace Dani Alves, who is poised to join Manchester City.
Juve have also shown interest in Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin, along with Barcelona. But Bellerin is expected to spend one more season with the Gunners, forcing Juve to turn their attentions to Darmain instead.
Darmian joined United from Torino in 2015 but Mourinho is in no rush to sell – unless Juve offer United a profit on their £12m outlay.
