Last night’s Emmerdale saw Tom Waterhouse reveal his true identity as Joe (played by Ned Porteous), the son of Chris who Charity (Emma Atkins) framed for murder years ago. However, Debbie (Charley Webb) threw a spanner in the works when she dumped him after realising she’d been duped into approving the building of a golf course, which will destroy her family home. Though it didn’t take long to Joe to work his magic and win Debbie (Charley Webb) around, while she was blissfully unaware that her cottage was being repossessed. As fans tried to compose themselves after the humongous bombshell, they began speculating that Zoe – who was played by actress Leah Bracknell until 2005 – and with good reason. Soap boss Iain Macleod hinted the fan favourite will be coming back to the Dales in full force. “Potential there is scope to introduce other characters around [Tom and Graham] further down the line,” he said. Actress Leah is currently battling cancer and recently suggested she won’t be returning to work anytime soon. “No one is employing me since I was diagnosed, the phone hasn’t been ringing,” she told the Sunday Mirror. Actress Charley Webb has now revealed what will come in the aftermath of Joe’s awakening and it doesn’t sound good. “Debbie is in so much shock – she just can’t take it in. Her initial reaction is hatred but then she goes into herself a bit and is quiet after that,” she explained. “She eventually decides to trash the house. He has had all of her stuff taken out of the house so she goes in to just destroy it.” Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV. With the new school year underway, Lucia was thrown straight in at the deep end and forced to audition in front of Donna and Bonnie, but it was dancer Leah that was challenged by her fellow students. As Leah revealed that she would be hoping to get selected for the new dance troupe, junior students Brooke and Rhianna became entangled in an awkward compliment which backfired. Having watched Leah dancing, Rhianna gushed: “Leah, are you alright? We think you’re so sick. You’re amazing, really. We’ve both been in the West End. So what have you been in?” Realising the younger pair had performed more than she had, Leah explained: “Obviously I’m training at the moment so just doing auditions. I’ve been in a few videos but not West End. I don’t really sing so I’m just working on that.” Rhianna then said: “Yeah, but you’ll definitely get there. You’re so talented. How old are you?” prompting Leah to reveal that she is 20-years-old. The junior student then continued: “Yeah, so you’ve got a couple of years, a few more years to just get out there.” Fuming, Leah snapped: “Hang on? A couple of years? Like, I know a dancer’s life is short, but I think I’ll make it beyond 23. A couple of years! How cheeky are they? I’m not that old, am I?” Viewers instantly took to social media, with one fan tweeting: “The girls throwing Leah some age shade there #stageschoolseries2 #STAGESCHOOL.” “Sorry but the little ones where soooo much better! #stageschool,” posted another as a third asked: “Who will make the dance crew? @E4StageSchool #STAGESCHOOL.” A fourth added: “My little ones have got some serious sassss competitions on. Who will make the crew? #Stageschool,” as another said: “Uh oh @leahbauckham.. It looks like @BrookeStageSch and @rhiannastageschool are hot on your tail! #Stageschool #CoupleOfYears.” The final 15 selected to battle it out for the dance troupe will be revealed in tomorrow’s episode. Stage School airs weeknights on E4 at 5.30pm. At last, the Emmys have arrived! No, we’re not talking about the 2017 Primetime Emmys broadcast — you’ll have to wait until next Sunday, Sept. 17 (8/7c, CBS) — but rather, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which are being handed out Saturday and Sunday evening at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Night 1 of the two-night creative arts ceremony is geared towards honoring the best in animation, variety, reality and documentary programming. Kevin Can Wait‘s newly widowed Kevin Gable isn’t ready for romance, but he’s not closing the door on a potential relationship with Leah Remini’s Vanessa Cellucci. A working relationship, that is. Executive producer Rob Long tells TVLine that there is no “master plan” to make Kevin and Vanessa a couple in Season 2 (premiering Monday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c on CBS), but the characters will be working together in some capacity, while also forming an “uneasy” friendship that builds on their dynamic from the two-part Season 1 finale. “Honestly, we’re trying not to [put them in a romantic relationship],” Long says. “I know that sounds crazy!” Be that as it may, the EP maintains that Kevin Can Wait is not looking to become a rehashed version of The King of Queens. “These two actors have incredibly fun chemistry together, but they’re also great antagonists,” he says. “So as much as there’s a lot of snap and crackle on screen, there’s also a lot of fun in watching two people not get along.” In other words, don’t expect “by Episode 12 [that] they’ll have their first whatever,” because it’s not happening. “We’re really just enjoying these two people working together and having a working relationship, which is something this series never really dealt with before,” Long continues. “We kind of look at each other after every table read as the story’s breaking and think, ‘OK, well, let’s keep doing this.’” As TVLine previously reported, Kevin Can Waitwill pick up one year after the death of Erinn Hayes’ Donna Gable. Viewers curious about how Donna died might be waiting a while, though: the CBS sitcom plans to sidestep the specifics of Donna’s demise and skip right to Kevin’s life as a single father. Do you believe that Kevin and Vanessa’s relationship will remain purely platonic? Or is romance inevitably in the air for the twosome formerly known as Doug and Carrie Heffernan? Life after Donna has officially begun for Kevin Gable, with production underway on Kevin Can Wait Season 2. The CBS sitcom will look slightly different when it returns this fall — and we’re not just talking about the beard Kevin James is sporting in this first on-set photo. New series regularLeah Remini, who is (essentially) replacing former leading lady Erinn Hayes, posted an image to Instagram late Friday night of her and her former King of Queens hubby. “It’s been an amazing first week on Kevin Can Wait, so blessed that I had my family with me,” Remini said in the caption. “Thank you to all who came out tonight, cast, crew, writers, thank you for the love!” As TVLine first reported, Hayes, who portrayed James’ wife Donna in Season 1, will not be returning for Season 2. Instead, “the character will have passed away,” Thom Sherman, CBS’ Senior Exec VP of Programming, revealed at CBS’ portion of the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. What’s more, the second season will begin with a time jump (but not too much of a time jump; daughter Kendra is still in the wedding planning stages when the show returns.) CBS’ entertainment president Kelly Kahl later added that Donna’s death “will be addressed tastefully” and “with dignity and respect.” For her part, Remini will reprise her role as Vanessa Cellucci, Kevin’s ex-police partner who was first introduced in the two-part Season 1 finale. Kevin Can Wait Season 2 premieres on Monday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c. Will you be tuning in for Remini’s first episode as a series regular? “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath”/A&E
The second season of “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” is set to premiere on Tuesday at 9 p.m. But before you tune in, you’ll want to get caught up on all the revelations about the notorious church from the show’s first season.
After splitting from the church in 2013, “King of Queens” star Leah Remini gave other former Scientologists a platform with the A&E series to discuss their experiences.
She was joined by former high-ranking people in the organization, who each have stories about secretive teachings, alleged shady business dealings, and purported abuses of its followers, former members, and their families.
In the upcoming season, Remini is stepping up the stakes. She hopes to provide enough evidence of wrongdoing to prompt a federal investigation into the religion.
“I’m talking about the FBI, the police, the Department of Justice, the IRS,” Remini said. “If the FBI ever wanted to get anywhere, all they would need to do is do a raid. Everybody who’s ever gone to Scientology has folders, and anything you’ve ever said is contained in those folders.”
The church declined to take part in the series. It said that the statements Remini and the other contributors to the show have made about Scientology are false and driven by a desire to profit or gain publicity from their time in the religion.
To prepare you for the season two premiere, here are all the most shocking revelations about Scientology, according to the show:

Scientology’s former international spokesman Mike Rinder explained that in the early years of Scientology, the church was under investigation for being a cult. In fact, Australia banned the church in 1965 after an investigation.
L. Ron Hubbard lived on a ship called the Apollo. Rinder described it as the “floating headquarters for Scientology.” Since he was being investigated by the UK and other countries, Hubbard found that he could sail away into international waters when necessary and away from the jurisdiction of any one country.

Lawrence Wright, the author of the best-selling book on Scientology, “Going Clear,” says his research found that Scientology’s documentation of Hubbard’s injuries and military service was faked.
Wright said his research into Navy documents found that Hubbard had no serious injuries, which Wright sees as a major fault in the church’s foundation.
Additionally, Wright said he found that Scientology’s claims that Hubbard received many military service awards and records were false. In response, Wright said, the church told him that the records were “sheep-dipped” — that the military created a whole set of fake documents to cover up Hubbard’s covert military duties.
“That’s the person that the church has to protect,” Wright said. “With encasing [Hubbard] in this myth, they try to cover the efforts of people like me and others to uncover the truth.”

After steadily rising through the ranks and becoming Hubbard’s adviser, David Miscavige announced the founder’s death in 1986. Hubbard’s passing was framed as an intentional decision by him to leave his body to go onto even higher levels of spiritual being.
“The core belief of Scientology is that you are a spiritual being,” Remini said. “L. Ron Hubbard had reached, obviously, the highest level of Scientology there was to reach, promoting this idea that there’s an afterlife, and he found the answer to it by deciding to discard this body to go explore new OT levels. All of this is bulls—. L. Ron Hubbard died of a stroke.”
As Hubbard’s closest adviser, Miscavige assumed the leadership of Scientology. His official title is chairman of the board of the Religious Technology Center. But according to Rinder, Miscavige likes to refer to himself as “the pope of Scientology.”

Leah Remini will continue to expose the alleged wrongdoings of the Church of Scientology, now that A&E has ordered a second season of her acclaimed docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
For those unfamiliar with the series, each episode finds ex-Scientologist Remini meeting with fellow defectors — ranging from former high-level executives to church members — who detail shocking stories of abuse, heartbreak and harassment experienced upon leaving the church behind. Since it first debuted last November, the Church of Scientology has continued to dismiss the claims made by Remini and other former members who have appeared on the program, but has not pursued legal action against A&E.
“The way the organization has responded without taking responsibility for what they do to people, I need to continue,” Remini said in a statement to THR. “It would be another [scenario] if they stopped trying to discredit everyone’s stories and said, ‘If you don’t like it, don’t be part of Scientology.’”
The 10-episode follow-up is expected to premiere this summer.
