It’s been one year since the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was assassinated at a Malaysian airport — but the much of the case remains a mystery.

Kim Jong Nam was killed after two women rubbed a lethal nerve agent called VX on his face at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on February 13, 2017.

Both women, who have been charged with murder, have consistently maintained their innocence, claiming that they thought they were participating in a prank for a TV show. Four men have been charged as well, but are still on the run.

The murder trial started last October and is scheduled to finish on March 22, 2018.

Here’s what we know about the assassination — and what we still don’t.

This is Kim Jong Nam. He was the eldest son of North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Il and one of his mistresses, and was once considered a potential successor.

Kim Jong Un and his siblings — including Kim Yo Jong, whom he sent to the Pyeongchang Olympics — are the children of a different mistress, a former dancer named Ko Young Hui.

The women accused of killing Kim Jong Nam have said they thought they were taking part in a prank for a TV show

The suspected assassins — 25-year-old Indonesian Siti Aisyah and 29-year-old Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong — have both pleaded not guilty and said they thought they were taking part in a prank for a hidden-camera reality TV show.

Aisyah was so convinced of her innocence that she thought that her arrest and subsequent imprisonment were part of the prank, the acting Indonesian ambassador in Malaysia at the time told GQ magazine.

Andreano Erwin, the ambassador, told GQ: “The first time we visited her, she kept asking when she could leave the jail. The second, she complained that she still hadn’t been paid for the last prank. The third time, she accused us of being part of the prank.

“The fourth time, we showed her a newspaper proving Kim Jong-nam had died. When she saw it, she started to cry.”

Doan was wearing a white shirt emblazoned with the word “LOL” at the time. The shirt’s designer said shortly after the assassination that he “thought she looked very stylish.”

The latest instalment of the ITV reality show saw plenty of drama with Jamie Lomas, 42, being slammed by fans over a screen time scandal and Amir Khan, 30, becoming the seventh contestant to be eliminated from the show.

However, before he was voted off by viewers, Amir joined Made In Chelsea star Toff, 22, and comedian Iain Lee, 44, for the Grim Grotto challenge as the celebrities attempted to win a big breakfast for the camp.

As Santa’s little helpers, the trio had to dress up Kiosk Keith dolls as presents for children on the good list before gift tagging them and putting them in a delivery shoot to be placed on Santa’s sleigh.

When the klaxon sounded, Toff soon got stuck in to the task at hand, grabbing one of the miniature Kiosk Keiths as she admitted: “They’re kind of hunky.

“Kiosk Keith doesn’t look like this naked,” she exclaimed. “Oh my god, it actually looks like him.

Later, in the Bush Telegraph, the blonde bombshell cheekily quipped: “I’ve seen Kiosk Keith’s little willy winky.

“Hey, he’s got a cracking six pack as well, didn’t see that coming,” she added naughtily.

We have app doctors that can help diagnose you from your phone and in the future, we very well might have AI physicians, but the UK is now offering another option — medical kiosks. A company called MedicSpot has set up tiny clinics in pharmacies across the UK that virtually connect you to a real physician and are stocked with all of the necessary equipment for an examination. The mini clinic has a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, pulse oximeter, thermometer and a camera that can give the doctor a look into your throat and ears. The doctor can even write you a prescription if need be.

The service is geared towards minor illnesses and the company says around a third of the consultations conducted so far have been about coughs, colds and ear infections. MedicSpot also says that approximately 20 percent of appointments have been booked by travelers. Its site has a specific section for tourists letting them know that they can use MedicSpot’s services without any hassle if they’ve become sick on their trip or if they forgot or ran out of necessary medications.

Consultations cost £30, last around 10-15 minutes and patients can choose to send notes about the visit to their regular doctor. For simple, non-serious medical issues, a quick visit to a kiosk certainly seems better than waiting forever in a doctor’s office.

At this point, the most common ways to get illegal digital content are no secret. There’s peer-to-peer downloading, “cyberlocker”-type sites, and unauthorized streaming sites that demand to put sketchy software on your computer.

But what if you could download Hollywood flicks to a USB drive at a convenient kiosk for just a few cents each? And do so while shopping at your local mall? This sounds like a dream of convenient and cheap entertainment, but it’s just one more piracy nightmare for the entertainment industry.

Just days before he was set to go to trial in Fresno, California, a Brooklyn man agreed to the government’s assertion that he sold heroin and cocaine on AlphaBay. That site is one of the largest Dark Web marketplaces currently operating since Silk Road was seized and shut down in 2013.

On Friday morning, lawyers representing Abdullah Almashwali appeared before US District Judge Dale A. Drozd and filed a guilty plea to three counts of drug charges, likely in exchange for a lighter sentence. Almashwali was charged in August 2016 along with a co-conspirator, Chaudhry Ahmad Farooq. Farooq pled guilty in January 2017 and has yet to be sentenced.

According to an affidavit filed by a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the two men—selling under the names “DarkApollo” and “Area51″—made key mistakes online that ultimately betrayed them. Those monikers advertised that they were directly importing heroin from Afghanistan.
