On Friday afternoon, senior officials at NASA joined a teleconference to speak with reporters about the current plan to launch the Artemis I mission from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This will be the third attempt to get the massive Space Launch System rocket off the ground and boost the Orion spacecraft into lunar orbit for an approximately 40-day uncrewed test flight before returning to Earth.

The rocket is ready, officials said. During fueling tests and launch attempts NASA has been bedeviled by hydrogen propellant leaks, as the tiny molecule is difficult to handle and constrain at super-chilled temperatures. However, following a longer-than-expected, but ultimately successful propellant loading test on Wednesday, NASA engineers expressed confidence in their revamped fueling procedures.

NASA has also reached an accord with US Space Force officials to extend the battery life for the rocket’s onboard flight termination system. This left only weather as a potential constraint to a planned launch attempt for Tuesday, September 27, at 11:37 am EST (15:37 UTC). The problem is that weather now poses a significant threat to the schedule due to a tropical depression that will likely track toward Florida in the coming days. There is an 80 percent chance of unacceptable weather during the launch window.

Meghan and Harry: Gogglebox star makes ‘Flog It!’ joke

The Gogglebox families will be watching Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in this evening’s episode and are sure to have some interesting takes on the extraordinary claims. Previously, they were not too kind about certain members of the Royal Family after watching Season Four of the Netflix drama The Crown. The new episodes, set in the Eighties, centred around Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage, as well as the Queen’s relationship with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

The Gogglebox stars were not too impressed with Charles’ behaviour in the TV show, nor with Camilla, who he had an affair with and later married.

After watching the episode where Charles sets up a lunch date between Diana and Camilla, brother and sister duo Pete and Sophie gave a savage response.

In the clip, Charles, played by Josh O’Connor, said: “I’ve asked Mrs Parker Bowles to get in touch with you.”

Diana, played by Emma Corrin, said: “Your ex? Why would you do that?”

Charles responded: “I thought you wanted company. She’s the best company.”

Watching this play out, Pete retorted: “Do you know what? I almost wished Prince Charles a happy birthday the other day as well on Twitter.”

Sophie said: “I bet you’re glad you didn’t now!”

Pete quipped: “I am now! He can shove it up his a***!”

Another Gogglebox star questioned why, after becoming incredibly suspicious about Charles and Camilla, Diana still went through with marrying the prince.

Another joked: “She was too far involved. The tea towels had been made and everything!”

The Crown Season Four triggered a similar reaction from many members of the public and Clarence House was actually forced to close its comments on its social media channels due to trolling directed at Charles and Camilla.

However, Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview is potentially even more explosive.

The couple claimed there had been “concerns and conversations” about how dark their baby’s skin might be.

Meghan also opened up about her mental health struggles and claimed she had not been supported enough by the institution.

The Duchess also claimed that reports that she made Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, cry were incorrect and that it had actually been the other way around.

Meanwhile, Harry accused the Royal Family of cutting him off financially and claimed his father Prince Charles stopped taking his calls at one point.

Prince Charles doesn’t respond to question about Oprah interview

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Tuesday which read: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.”

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning.

“While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members.”

The reaction in the UK has been mixed, with 22 percent of people sympathising more with the Sussexes and 36 percent saying their sympathies lie with the Queen and the Royal Family.

Around 28 percent said they felt no sympathy for either camp and 8 percent said both, according to YouGov.

Tonight’s instalment of Top Gear will see hosts Paddy, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris attempt to join the 200mph Club. In the late Eighties and early Nineties, a handful of extraordinary supercars achieved what was previously thought impossible, by smashing past 200 miles an hour. Paddy, Freddie and Chris chose one supercar each to test but things didn’t go too well.

Chris chose the Ferrari F40, Paddy the Lamborghini Diablo, and Freddie the XJ220 for their trip up north.

They could be seen driving around the countryside before planning to head to an airfield where they would attempt to hit 200 mph.

However, before they even reached the airfield, Paddy crashed his Lamborghini and is seen ploughing into hay bales.

The video of his crash has been watched more than 100,000 views on YouTube.

Opening up about the incident, Paddy said it looked “worse than it really was”.

Speaking to the Sunday Express, he explained: “Because it’s an old car and it’s so low down it went over the bumps on the grass and it just instantly disintegrated.”

Responding to claims he was visibly shaken, Paddy said he doesn’t know where the rumours came from.

“No. Not in the slightest,” he laughed.

“I kept saying to Clare, the executive producer, all the way through are you going to get a sense of the size of this on the telly?

“Because sometimes you look at things on telly and even though they still look dangerous, you don’t get a sense of scale of it.

“A camera can’t pick that up as the human eye can. I remember that night going back to the hotel and not looking forward to the next day. It was that scary!”

Paddy continued: “It’s honestly one of the hardest things I’ve done and when Fred says it’s one of the hardest things he’s done, you know it’s difficult.
