One of the head writers of popular Netflix Original Lucifer has just confirmed he’ll be making a cameo appearance in a future episode. Fans had been asking Joe Henderson if he would eventually pop up somewhere in the series after his colleague, Ildy Modrovich, appeared in season four. In the episode Somebody’s Been Reading Dante’s Inferno, Modrovich has a humorous exchange with the angel Amenadiel (played by D.B. Woodside), who tries to strike up conversation in a cafe. Although neither of the head writers appeared in the first half of season five, British celeb Sharon Osbourne did make a bizarre cameo during an interrogation montage. READ MORE: Lucifer season 6 cast: Will Eve star in Lucifer’s final season? Henderson dropped the news when Lucifer’s official Twitter page promoted Sharon’s scene as one of the year’s best guest appearances. An eager fan tweeted below: “I want @Henderson_Joe to have a cameo, like @Ildymojo did in S4!” To which Henderson replied, “Oh, it’s going to happen”, which prompted an excited gif reaction from the same follower. With the second half of season five just around the corner, Henderson could crop up somewhere in the next eight episodes. For example, the creator of The Sandman comics, from which the original Lucifer series was spun off from, Neil Gaiman, narrated the season three bonus episode Once Upon A Time. Gaiman stepped in as the voice of God before the role was eventually recast with Dennis Haysbert, who made his grand entrance in this year’s midseason finale. Moreover, superhero fans were ecstatic when Lucifer teamed up with John Constantine (Matt Ryan) in The CW’s DC crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths. If both showrunners have guest starred by the end of season five, perhaps the show’s final outing could feature the cameo of all cameos. Who that could be remains to be seen, though some fans are still keen to see Lucifer drop in with the CW heroes one more time before Ellis exits the role. As production continues, it is still unknown when season five, part two will eventually be released and potentially reveal Joe Henderson’s cameo to the world. The showrunners have sadly confirmed it won’t be hitting Netflix before the end of the year, though ‘Lucifans’ are still holding out hope for an early 2021 midseason premiere. They’ve been doing it for five years. “If it’s someone there for the day, it’s going to be (a bit awkward) but I’ve done them before in other things, but in this age of growing awareness with #MeToo, relating to intimate scenes, people are trying to be more discretionary and sensitive to actors when they come to set.” Outlander seasons 1-5 are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video now. The pair begin discussing possible colleges they can attend after high-school, with Angela suggesting Choate, the school Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) ends up going to. In typical Ghost and Angela fashion, the scene is charged with sexual tension as the teens flirt outside their high-school. And given one of the Starz spin-offs, Book III: Raising Kanan, is a prequel series, some fans had speculated they would be seeing more of this teenage romance even though Power had ended. However, it doesn’t look like fans will get to see the beginning of Ghost and Angela’s romance at all as showrunner Courtney Kemp rubbished the possibility that the flashback would lead to future storylines. Empire wrapped its six-season run on Tuesday with a final episode that carried with it a giant asterisk. Although billed as a series finale, the episode was actually an amalgam of the Fox drama’s antepenultimate and penultimate hours. The admirably assembled makeshift closer replaces the original swan song, production of which was, as you know, KO’d (or merely postponed?) by COVID-19. The episode’s patchwork-y DNA was at times visible on screen, particularly in the overstuffed final 15 minutes that crammed in a breakup (Lucious and Yana), two major character deaths (Yana and Big Bad Damon Cross), the long-awaited premiere of the Hakeem-fronted Empire feature film, and the inevitable romantic reunion between Cookie and Lucious. Just as noteworthy was what “Home Is on the Way” was missing, namely a resolution to the season-long flash-forward mystery involving the apparent deaths of Cookie and Lucious, via car bomb and gunshots, respectively. According to Empire showrunner Brett Mahoney, the ill-fated 20th episode (aka the original series finale) was going to wrap up both cliffhangers, as well as bring resolution to a number of other dangling threads. The EP remains hopeful that the intended farewell will eventually be shot in order to “send the series off” properly. And if not? “I think we’ll find some creative way to get [the information] out there,” he recently told TVLine, “whether it’s by just releasing the script or finding another way to satisfy fans.” In the meantime, fans will have to make due with the following Q&A, in which Mahoney drops hints about the OG finale while also answering our burning Qs about Tuesday’s ersatz closer. While hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond are still entirely involved in the show, the format of the Amazon Prime Video show has changed drastically. Originally the trio originally looked at specific cars and its technical prowess, but now it seems the show will not continue like that. It was announced following season three, season four will just focus simply on the outrageous adventures the team embark on. This was showcased in the first edition of season four, which was dubbed: Seamen. The trio took to the seas of Vietnam on boats – for the first time ever. Recently Jeremy Clarkson spoke out on the DriveTribe Pub Quiz last week about the show, and what won’t be touched upon in the coming months. READ MORE: Jeremy Clarkson: ‘I’m actually scared’ Grand Tour host reveals concern during lockdown In the meantime, fans have been waiting for the next episode to air on the online streaming service – however Jeremy recently dropped some news about that. Speaking at the same pub quiz, Jeremy confessed: “I know what one of [the questions] is going to be is: ‘When is there going to be a second episode of The Grand Tour?'” He continued: “Alright then, well, you may have heard there’s this – well there’s a problem if I’m honest. “The producer of the show, Andy Wilman, who also edits it for months and months and months, he had to take to his bed a few weeks ago with this weird new flu.” After detailing Wilman coming down with a suspected case of coronavirus, he concluded: “Anyway, the good news is he’s better. “But all the edit suites and the voiceover suites and all the places you use to make television programmes are shut. “We are working on ways to get around that because we have filmed the programme, it is 94 percent edited.” The Grand Tour season 4 returns to Amazon Prime in 2020. Friends fans will remember Ross’ girlfriend that came at the worst possible time in his life. Mona (Bonnie Somerville) and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) began their relationship just as Ross found out he was the father of Rachel Green’s (Jennifer Aniston) baby. Friends fans will remember that Mona first appeared in Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) and Monica Geller’s (Courteney Cox) wedding episode titled The One After I Do. Ross spent most of the episode trying to impress her at the wedding reception by teaching the little girls on his table to dance, leaving him with no time to dance with Mona. She later became Ross’ girlfriend, but broke up with him after Rachel moved in with Ross for the baby. However, it seemed she was getting too intense for Ross anyway after she tried to get the pair to do a couple’s holiday card together. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the star revealed she was only meant to appear in the Wedding episode, but her chemistry with David Schwimmer lead to her being invited back on set. On landing the role, Bonnie revealed: “My agent said, ‘They’re casting episode 1 and there’s a small role that has maybe a couple of lines’,” “I went in and [series creators] Marta [Kaufman] and David [Crane] were in the room, and it was over in a second. Then my agent called and said, ‘You got in, you’re going in to work on Monday’.” The actress went on to reveal it was her “funny” ad-lib that lead to her making another appearance. READ MORE: Friends: Major cameo fans missed revealed in iconic first episode Bonnie continued: “I think back now like, who do I think I was?” she added. “But we had a really good banter and somebody said, ‘You’re really funny, we should have you back’. I was like, yeah right.” However, showrunners didn’t back out on their promise as the star soon featured in episode 5, titled The One with Rachel’s Date when Rachel spotted the pair in Central Perk together. She was originally booked for three more episodes, but show runners allowed the relationship to grow, right up until Mona walked out of the relationship seven episodes later. She added: “”Our relationship just kind of kept going, and eventually I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to be the seventh friend. I’m going to be a regular!'” Bonnie remembered. “That didn’t happen.” Despite the role being short, the star revealed it did help her get noticed. The Bonnie star said she was warned by Joey star Matt LeBlanc that she would be recognised after just one appearance. “I said, ‘No one’s going to care,” she said. “But then the morning after that first episode, someone came up to me at the grocery store and said, ‘Are you that girl who was on Friends last night?’ I got work right away after that.” Friends is available on Netflix. Watch Friends daily on Comedy Central, Friends – The Complete Series 1-10 is available now on Blu-ray and DVD The Flash season five, episode 21, which is titled The Girl with The Red Lightning, will air on Tuesday, May 7 on The CW. The CW has released a promo for The Flash season five, episode 21, which will air on Wednesday, May 16 on Sky One in the UK. The Flash trailer sees all the metas trying to hide out in the Central City Police Department. The official CW synopsis for The Girl with The Red Lightning reads: “CICADA II MAKES HER MOVE. “Team Flash is on high alert after Cicada II (played by Sarah Carter) threatens to unleash a dangerous virus that would put all meta-humans at risk.” According to the season five, episode 21 promo, Team Flash’s plan to stop Cicada II is to round-up all the metas of Central City in one place so they are easier to protect. The trailer starts with police chief David Singh (Patrick Sabongui) asking: “You want me to open the doors to every meta in this city?” As he does this, the lifts in the building open and are revealed to be full of people. These metas are then seen starting to fill up the police department. However, they are unlikely to be safe there for long if the rest of the promo is anything to go by. In the next scene, a voice says: “Wipe them off the face of the planet.” As this is said Cicada II is seen brandishing her weapon, looking ready to kill. However, Cicada II might not even need to destroy the metas herself. The preview shows them fighting in the police precinct, suggesting tensions are running high. We then get our first view of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), who says: “This is our last chance.” He may be right, as the next scene of the promo shows Cicada breaking through the ceiling of the police department. The Flash then says: “We need to find Cicada or we lose everyone.” Fans, however, will have to tune in to The CW and Sky One find out exactly what will happen. Season five, episode 21 is the penultimate episode of the series, meaning it is likely to end with an epic cliffhanger getting us ready for the finale. Season eight will see Jaime Lannister’s (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) character arc coming to an epic close having truly transformed over the course of the HBO series. Jaime started off as an out-and-out villain after he threw Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) from the window of Winterfell’s Broken Tower in season one, episode one of Game of Thrones. Only moments earlier, Bran had witnessed Jaime having unlawful and incestuous sex with his sister Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), who was married to King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy). Although Jaime was seen as a baddie, who had earned the moniker the Kingslayer after murdering the Mad King, Aerys Targaryen (David Rintoul), we started to learn more about the dishonourable knight and our perception of him began to change. Jaime’s friendship with Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) began to turn the tide in his favour as well after he got his hand lopped off by Locke (Noah Taylor) for preventing the lady from the Sapphire Isle from getting raped. He also saved Brienne from the bear pit, where she would most certainly have met a gruesome end at the hands of the enormous and enraged beast with only a wooden sword for protection. As the show continued, he and Cerise’s relationship grew more fractious after he returned to King’s Landing with only one hand, which disgusted her. He also raped her in a controversial moment following the death of their son Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson). In season six, Jaime and Cersei saw the death of all their children with Tommen (Dean Charles Chapman) committing suicide and Marcella (Nell Tiger-Free) getting murdered in a Sand snakes’ plot. Season seven saw Jaime becoming more distanced from Cersei after she refused to help fight the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) and the White Walkers. Jaime was last seen riding North and leaving Cersei behind, suggesting he was severing his connections to her once and for all. Season eight will see Jaime fighting alongside Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) as they take on the army of the dead. He will also have to deal with the repercussions of betraying Cersei, who is going to be left incandescent with rage after finding out he’s defied her. Jaime’s journey North will also see him reuniting with his brother Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), who is serving as the Hand of the Queen to Daenerys. One of the most anticipated moments is season eight is Jaime’s reunion with Bran, who have not seen each other since the fateful night the knight tried to kill the young Stark. Plot details are understandably being kept under wraps but he could kill Cersei – but the circumstances around this are uncertain. There have been some fan theories suggesting Jaime could be the legendary warrior Azor Ahai reborn, who ended the Long Night and the rule of the White Walkers by plunging a sword into the heart of his beloved wife Nissa Nissa. In order to fulfil the prophecy, Jaime would have to kill Cersei by stabbing her through the heart. But the geographical distance between Jaime in the North and Cersei in the South in King’s Landing could mean this theory would not work. Depending on the body count at the end of Game of Thrones, Jaime could become the last Lannister. Tyrion and Cersei are both still alive, which means he may not become the last of his line. Saying this, there have been many theories Cersei is going to be meeting her maker at the end of the series. The end of House Lannister would form a nice cyclical arc given their involvement in the Red Wedding, where the ominous Rains of Castamere was played shortly before the massacre. The Reynes were a proud family who was obliterated by the Lannisters out of defiance and a refusal to repay gold they owed and the song is used a form of intimidation. But the Lannister themselves could be at an end when Game of Thrones wraps up. That’s what breaks my heart. In the [original] series finale all of that plays out. [We find out] who shot Lucious and who blew up Cookie’s car, and [if either one of them survived]. That [storyline’s conclusion] was a victim of COVID-19. I promise you that if we don’t get to film that episode we’ll get the [resolution] out there one way or another.
TVLINE | The fallout from Yana’s death felt rushed. Was that also due to the production halt?
Episode 18 [originally was supposed to] end with the death of Yana, which would’ve given [viewers] a week to [recover]. It would have felt less abrupt than her getting shot and then we [immediately] come back after a commercial break and we’re mourning her death. The beginning of Episode 19 would’ve [picked up] after her death and then the episode ended with the movie premiere.
Yes. Whenever we get to shoot 20, it will start with [the Episode 19 cliffhanger]. The [original] idea for 19 had us coming to this place where everything was good, and then [suddenly] that all gets turned upside down and they go on a journey [in 20, before ultimately] coming back to [that happy place]. But since we had shot this scene at the movie premiere, which [resembled the] spirit of the original finale, I [realized] I could build something [for the makeshift finale] with that [footage] and at least end it in the same spirt that we intended, in terms of Cookie and Lucious recognizing their love for one another, and the family coming together and realizing that the Lyons were more important than Empire.
There was a line that I cut out [of the episode] for time that said Jamal and Kai and the baby were happily living in London.
A boy.
Teri has been through a lot with Andre so I’m not sure she can forgive him and welcome him back into her life. But I will say that Andre, after he decides to stay in New York, proves he is worthy and stable and he can be a father to his son. So the ending is that Andre will be able to raise his son and be in his life and be his father.
TVLINE | You kicked off the episode with a rousing, Cookie-centric ’70s blaxploitation homage. Was that a nod to Taraji P. Henson’s role in Proud Mary?
It wasn’t. It was [inspired by] a [2018] New York Times piece [“The Strong and Stressed Black Woman“]. We thought it tied into the story we were telling about Cookie, in terms of black women having to me superwomen, having to always be strong and not be vulnerable. They are three-dimensional people and, despite their strengths, they also have weaknesses and they also have vulnerabilities. And part of their journey is being able to show that. We were making this point in [Cookie’s] therapy session, and Michael C. Martin — who was one of the writers on the episode — said something in the writers’ room. I don’t know if he actually brought up the Foxy Brown of it all, but I said that’s what we need to do at the top of the episode. We need a fantasy sequence with Cookie as a superhero.
I don’t actually know. I don’t have anything to do with any spinoff. But I would imagine [such a series] would be something people would be interested in. And I would imagine the studio and the network would want to explore that. But I don’t know where that is or what they’re doing.

In a recent article that dubbed 2019 as “the year of the vegan,” Economist correspondent John Parker examined the soaring interest in the vegan lifestyle of late, and how it’s impacting multiple industries. A quarter of Millenials today identify as vegan or vegetarian, and companies are working to reach these consumers by accommodating their needs.
In response to people cutting meat out of their diets, McDonald’s has created a McVegan burger. Brands like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods are making plant-based meat substitutes that actually look, feel, and even “bleed” like the real thing. Even Tyson, the largest meat processor in the U.S., is getting in on the plant-based protein trend.
But, at its core, veganism is more than just a diet. It’s also a system of values that is causing more and more people to consider how other products they use — think clothing, home goods, and accessories — are made. Vegan labels have become prolific in grocery stores and on the boxes of your favorite snacks, but there’s less transparency when shopping for clothing and accessories, making the process a little more difficult.
There are plenty of brands making chic, stylish clothing and accessories that also happen to be cruelty-free. And, plenty of your favorite existing brands have started added vegan options to their offerings. To make it easier for you, we rounded up 9 great pairs boots that are perfect for winter and also happen to be vegan. Whether you’re vegan or not, we think you’ll love — and really want to wear — one of these pairs.

Finding a replacement for warm, shearling-lined boots may prove a little difficult when you’re shopping vegan. These rainboots are a good option. They’re made with natural rubber from renewable resources (bonus points for sustainability) and lined with a soft fleece to keep your toes toasty on cold days. The thick sole is slip-resistant and adds some insulation between your feet and the cold ground. With a combination of waterproof rubber and a soft, cozy lining, you’re set for cold, snowy days.
Zappos
A comfortable yet durable pair of boots isa winter necessity. Many duck boots have a leather upper, but this pair opts for canvas instead. While not advertised as vegan, these are simply made with canvas and rubber. The entire boot is seriously waterproof, even the seams are sealed to keep out rain, so you can be sure your feet will be kept dry no matter the conditions.
Urban Outfitters
Classic Dr. Martens get a vegan twist. This version of the 1460, the original Dr. Martens boot, is made with 100% vegan leather and finished with a chrome gloss. Everything else is the same — the lace up front, yellow stitching, signature heel loop, and air-cushioned sole have all stayed true to the original.

The third season of True Detective got off to an eerie start on HBO and Sky Atlantic with Mahershala Ali’s Detective Wayne Hays leading the cast. The case dominating the plot this season involved two missing children who were reported missing in episode one. Things are starting to heat up as the case is revealing itself to be a twisted and convoluted puzzle.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers for True Detective season 3
The case of the missing Purcell children is set to continue in next week’s episode of True Detective.
While the body of the boy Will (played by Phoenix Elkin) was discovered at the end of episode one, his sister Julie (Lena McCarthy) was still missing.
Episode five in the season is titled If You Have Ghosts and will follow on from a slightly slower paced fourth instalment.
A synopsis for the next episode simply reads: “Law enforcement officers navigate a web of conspiracy to deal with a bizarre murder.”
The perspective of Detective Wayne Hays (Mahershala Ali) continues to be explored from the three different timelines.
A promo trailer released hints at more dramatic developments about to unfold.
The teaser opens with the 1990 Hays and Roland West (Stephen Dorff) driving through Arkansas.
“It’s something isn’t it,” West remarks: “How quickly this town died.”
Hays’ chilling response is: “It didn’t die, it got murdered.”
Next is a shot of Amelia (Carmen Ejogo) whose voiceover says: “The lost child is a void. That echoes backwards and forwards in time.”
This quote seems like an obvious reference to the show’s separate timelines.
Back to 2018 Hays, who is being interviewed by Elisa Montgomery (Sarah Gadon) as she says: “They’re all gone, vanished, killed, kept silent,” as shots of a burned out playground are shown.
Hays gives a suspicious look here suggesting he knows something sinister. The look is bolstered by 2018 West saying: “How you going to talk to these people? We done what we done.”
Elsewhere 90s Hays says: “We don’t stop, take it all the way this time.”
The Purcell parents meanwhile are still struggling to cope with their ordeal.
A montage of violent shots then plays as Elisa asks about the late Amelia: “Did any of her research suggest a larger conspiracy?”
A quote from Hays rounds out the trailer amid several shots of him, Amelia and West in various dodgy situations.
“The things I’ve seen, the things I know won’t do anything but cause harm.”
He finishes: “It’s the case – it’s only ever the case.”
True Detective season 3, episode 5 will air next Sunday on HBO and next Monday on Sky Atlantic
