Bayern on Tuesday made a fourth bid of around £35 million for the 18-year-old Chelsea winger, who is refusing to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge, but who the club are trying to persuade to stay. Chelsea fear they are fighting a losing battle trying to keep the youngster, who played in Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup first leg semi-final defeat to Tottenham at Wembley. Bayern Director of Football Hasan Salihamidzic said: “He is a very interesting player whom we really want to sign. He has qualities that fit into our game. He can dribble well and has a drive towards goal. He has a lot of potential.” So far, Bayern have not broken any Fifa rules with Salihamidzic’s comments, but Chelsea sources have confirmed the club will consider reporting Bayern to Fifa if there is any evidence of an approach to Hudson-Odoi or his representatives. But Chelsea’s pursuit of AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain got a massive boost on Wednesday night, as it emerged that the Argentine striker is furious at Milan Sporting Director Leonardo’s comments about him this week – and is prepared to force a move to the Premier League. Leonardo said of the 31-year-old, who is Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri’s top target and whom Chelsea are in talks about signing from Juventus, who have loaned him to Milan: “He has to make a decision and take on his share of the responsibility. He needs to get down and actually do something for this team.” Chelsea will have to take over the six months remaining of the loan, which will cost them £9m, and then a fee of around of £36m in the summer for a permanent deal. Higuain is keen to be reunited with his old Napoli coach. Alvaro Morata, who Chelsea are willing to allow to leave this month if they can bring in a replacement, is in talks with Seville over a loan deal leading to a possible permanent move, but the two clubs are still some way apart on the fee. Sevilla manager Pablo Machin said: “A problem? Not at all. Having Morata would be a bloody blessing for me. Many teams want him because he’s worth it. The aim of the club is clear: we want to bring the best in. If due to finances it can’t go ahead, nobody can feel frustrated. If we can’t, we will lower the bar a bit.” Atletico Madrid though are also interested in the striker. Besides Higuain, Chelsea also considering contract rebel Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson, and Leicester’s Jamie Vardy. Midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who has agreed a deal with Monaco, has seen his deal held up while Chelsea try to secure a replacement, with Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella and Zenit St Petersburg’s Leandro Paredes both targets.
The twins were also fined $ 250,000 after being found guilty of multiple match-fixing violations during an investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit.
The brothers, who are both ranked outside the top 1,000, were found guilty of the match-fixing offenses, which reportedly took place at second-rate tournaments they played at in Romania, Russia, Germany and Turkey.

The 35-year-old players were also accused of soliciting a third person to bet on matches they took part in.
“The findings of guilt and imposition of the lifetime suspensions means that, with immediate effect, both players are prohibited from playing in or attending any sanctioned events organized or recognized by the governing bodies of the sport,” the Tennis Integrity Unit said in a statement.

Cipriani is now free to play for Gloucester against the Dragons in tonight’s pre-season warm-up as he bids to impress England boss Eddie Jones.
In a mammoth hearing that stretched for the best part of five hours, in Bristol, Cipriani was grilled about events on a pre-season trip to Jersey with Gloucester but after courts and club had taken action he was let off.
Panel chair Gareth Graham said: “Danny Cipriani is expected to behave in line with the core values of the game which include respect and discipline. Those core values are not empty words or slogans as the panel were reminded during the hearing.
“By his guilty plea before the criminal court, Mr Cipriani accepts that he behaved in a way that, in the panel’s view, fell below the standard of behaviour expected of a rugby player.”
Gloucester fined him £2,000 and told him to do 10 hours of community service and claimed the incident was minor and that should be that.
The Rugby Players’ Association then urged the RFU to drop their charge but they carried on regardless with last night’s hearing at Bristol’s Holiday Inn.
Cipriani has had numerous troubles on nights out before and his England future looked in jeopardy after this latest scrape.
Cipriani was fined £2,000 and ordered to pay £250 compensation by magistrates in Jersey last week after the incident outside a local nightclub.
Gloucester weighed in with a £2,000 fine of their own – to be donated to charity – and also punished Cipriani with 10 hours community service and claimed it was minor incident.
The Rugby Players’ Association then implored the RFU to drop their charge but the union persisted with last night’s hearing.
Cipriani’s former team mate at Wasps James Haskell is adamant the RFU should not have chased the case and were influenced by social media.
The 33-year-old said: “I think it’s just time to move on. I think Danny was very good about the apology, he said it very well and I don’t judge him, I don’t think anyone should.
“People love to hate him, but I know him as a good hard working guy and it is time to move on. It was time to move on an hour after the court case – but a few ex-players and coaches threw him under the bus.”
Downing Street confirmed the departure in a statement which read:“This afternoon, the prime minister accepted the resignation of Boris Johnson as foreign secretary. His replacement will be announced shortly. The prime minister thanks Boris for his work.”
Johnson infamously compared Russia 2018 to the 1936 Berlin Olympics in Nazi Germany, which was largely used as a vehicle for Adolf Hitler’s regime. He also said England’s participation in the competition “would not go ahead as planned” should Russia not admit alleged involvement in the poisoning of former double agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury.
Following news of the cabinet split, former England international and 1986 World Cup Golden Boot winner Gary Lineker was among the first with a football jargon-laiden jibe comparing Johnson’s resignation to a “transfer request.”
Boris Johnson is the latest to hand in a transfer request as his team hurtle towards inevitable relegation.

Ex-Premier League star turned broadcaster Stan Collymore hinted that Johnson’s move was all an elaborate plan to allow him time off to travel to support England in their World Cup semi-final versus Croatia on Wednesday in Moscow.
Now Boris Johnson has resigned!
Brexit really, really really is going well.
Isn't it?
Or is he getting a flight to Moscow to join us behind the goal on Wednesday? 🦁🦁🦁🏴🏴🏴#fuckingpillock #blindleadingtheblind

Former England rugby union international Brian Moore was adament Johnson was running away from “delivering what he promised,” while prominent British journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy unfavorably linked the departure with the England national football team’s success in Russia.
So, Johnson goes – another architect of Brexit runs away from delivering what he promised.
— Brian Moore (@brianmoore666) July 9, 2018
As police investigate whether a British woman was killed by a Russian nerve agent, as English footballers play in Moscow, as British forces do their jobs in foreign conflicts, as Brexit hangs in the balance, as Trump arrives in London…..Boris Johnson quits.
— Krishnan Guru-Murthy (@krishgm) July 9, 2018
And of course, the Twitterati had their own meme and gif tributes to the shock exit, some supporting the opinions of Collymore that the incident is nothing more than an excuse for a good old jolly-up while watching the foootball.
Boris Johnson has quit so he can have a massive bender when we win the world cup on Sunday

England are in the semi final of the World Cup and Boris Johnson is no longer our foreign secretary. Someone pinch me
— Francis Grove-White (@f_grovewhite) July 9, 2018
Wait… you’re saying we could see Boris Johnson quit as foreign secretary and #England win the World Cup in the same week?
William, go and get a lottery ticket, this could be a very lucky week!

The departure of former London Mayor Johnson represents yet another blow to the government of Theresa May, who is pushing for a soft Brexit plan that has angered many Conservatives.

Johnson’s quitting follows that of the Brexit secretary, David Davis, and his No 2 at the Department for Exiting the EU, Steve Baker. Rumors began swirling earlier on Monday that Johnson would be leaving his post, as he was holed up in his residence with his closest advisers, missing a scheduled appearance at the West Balkans summit. There were also reports that he missed a Cobra meeting about the Wiltshire Novichok poisoning.

The Madrid Open gets underway on Monday and both stars have been handed tough routes to glory.
But it is No 10 seed Djokovic who who has been once again handed a nightmare half.
Nadal has been drawn in the opposite half to his Serbian counterpart so they cannot meet until the final.
The world No 1, who is handed a first-round bye, will face a possible second-round clash with Gael Monfils.
Croatia’s Borna Coric could await in the third round with a potential quarter-final meeting against Dominic Thiem – tipped by many to be Nadal’s heir on clay.
In-form Juan Martin del Potro is likely to meet the Spaniard in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, Djokovic will get underway against Monte Carlo Masters runner-up Kei Nishikori – by far the tie of the first round.
British No 1 Kyle Edmund is expected to face the winner in round two, with David Goffin a potential third-round opponent.
Gregor Dimitrov then would await in the last eight before a semi-final showdown with Barcelona Open runner-up Stefano Tsitsipas.
A daunting week awaits Djokovic but this could be the perfect opportunity to finally put his recent injury nightmare behind him.
However, Nadal has to remain the clear favourite to win the competition for the sixth time in his career.
The 31-year-old has not dropped a set on clay in 12 months as he took his Open Era record up to 46 last week.

This is a 20 per cent increase on the total of 4.71 million during 2016/17. A decade ago, in 2007/08, fewer than half a million records were released.
Parking companies use the information to chase vehicle owners for alleged infringements in private car parks, sending penalty charges of up to £100. The latest figures suggest a penalty notice is being issued every six seconds.
RAC Foundation director Steve Gooding said: “Each year we are not only astonished by the numbers involved, but also by the fact that those numbers keep rocketing up.
“The true volume of tickets being issued might actually be significantly higher still as some firms will simply slap a demand on to a windscreen for the driver to find when they return to their vehicle.
“What’s going wrong? Are Britain’s motorists really flouting the rules on such an industrial scale?”
The Government has committed to back a Private Member’s Bill which would lead to the introduction of a code of conduct for private car park operators.
Tory former minister Sir Greg Knight’s Parking (Code of Practice) Bill had its second reading in the House of Commons in February.
Mr Gooding said: “We strongly support Sir Greg Knight in his initiative to get some regulation in place through a Private Member’s Bill that will establish much-needed independent scrutiny of what’s going on in the private parking world.
“Only then can we be reassured that the cards aren’t stacked against the motorist.”
ParkingEye Ltd obtained the largest amount of data in 2017/18 at 1.8 million records. The DVLA charges private firms £2.50 per record, meaning the agency could have collected £14.1 million during this period.
In a concerted effort to rediscover both fitness and form, Djokovic has split with coaches Andre Agassi and Radek Stepanek and began working again with Marian Vajda.
The pair combined for over a decade before splitting in May last year, with all of Djokovic’s 12 Grand Slams coming during their partnership.
But they are working together once again ahead of the Monte Carlo Masters as the former world No 1 seeks to end a three-match losing streak going into the clay-court season.
And while Djokovic currently has no long-term agreement in place with Vajda, another of his old team members – sports coach and consultant Gebhard Gritsch – has said he would also think about a return to Djokovic’s staff.
Gritsch worked with Djokovic between 2009 and 2017, with the 30-year-old tennis star declaring after their split that he, Vajda and physiotherapist Miljan Amanovic’s support was pivotal to his rise to the summit of the sport.
And Gritsch has revealed he would be open to reuniting with both Djokovic and Vajda.
“Novak is a friend of mine, he can count on my help always, so if he calls me, I will consider returning to the team,” the Austrian told Infomer.
“We were often in contact this year. We spoke about life. First of all, we are friends.
“Novak should first decide what he wants and in which direction his career will continue. He needs to find his path. He is smart and takes good decisions.
“If it wasn’t like this, he wouldn’t have gotten so much success.
Asked about Marian Vajda’s – at least temporary – reunion with Djokovic, Gritsch added: “I didn’t know [about] it.
“Well, it’s great! Vajda is a man with an unbelievable energy and can help Novak a lot.”
Kodi continues to surge in popularity, but users of illegal add-ons have been put on alert after a major jail sentence was handed out in the courts.
Research has suggested Kodi – which offers access to thousands of channels – is being used in more than five million UK homes.
Kodi software is not illegal, but developers can produce third-party add-ons that provide free access to pirated and illegal content.
These apps allow users to stream premium content, like paid-for sports and movie channels for free.
The illegal add-ons are being targeted by ISPs, government agencies, broadcasters and rights holders.
And now a UK court has handed out the biggest jail sentence so far for sellers of illegal streaming devices.
Two men who supplied “Kodi-type” illegal streaming devices have been jailed for four and half years each at Newcastle Crown Court.
John Dodds and Jason Richards were jailed earlier this week after pleading guilty to conspiracy to defraud.
They sold hundreds of devices that enabled customers to watch Premier League matches via unauthorised access to Sky Sports, BT Sport and illegal foreign channels.
Customers were also regularly left with devices that had their broadcast signal interrupted or did not work properly.
Dodds and Richards were arrested after an investigation instigated by the Premier League and FACT.
FACT said the sellers’ criminal activity saw them fraudulently earn at least £1.5million through sales.
Premier League Director of Legal Services Kevin Plumb said: “This is a hugely significant judgment as it provides further evidence that selling these devices is illegal and can result in a prison sentence.
“We have seen several reports from people who have purchased illicit streaming devices only to be left with no service when the seller is forced to cease trading because the law has caught up with them, or their broadcast signal has been interrupted by our enforcement measures.
“We hope this verdict gets the message out that selling or using these devices is simply not worth the risk.
“The many things fans enjoy about the Premier League – the ability that clubs have to develop and acquire talented players, to build and improve stadiums, and to support communities and schools – is all predicated on being able to market, sell and protect rights.
“We are pleased the Courts have recognised that in this case.”
Kieron Sharp, the CEO of FACT, added: “This result is an excellent example of how serious an issue illegal streaming is.
“TV boxes and sticks that allow consumers to illegally stream sports, such as Premier League matches, not only have a huge effect on the content owners and broadcasters but the thousands of people working tirelessly behind the scenes to put the sport on our screens.
“This is no longer a grey area – selling devices like this or using one at home to watch content you normally would pay for is breaking the law.
“This sentencing should send out a very clear and strong message to anyone involved in the sale of these devices that it is very much illegal and that they risk spending time behind bars.”
The Premier League is currently engaged in a comprehensive copyright protection programme that has included obtaining a High Court Order that compels the UK’s Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block illegal streams of its content.
This led to a seller of illicit streaming devices based in Nottingham being jailed for four years.
The latest jail sentence comes as the UK Government recently provided guidance stating that the use of illicit streaming devices is illegal.
Smith, along with Cameron Bancroft, publicly admitted to trying to change the condition of the ball in order to gain an unfair advantage during the third day’s play in the Cape Town Test against South Africa.
A statement from the ICC read: ICC Chief Executive David Richardson laid the charge against Smith under to Article 2.2.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel which prohibits to ‘all types of conduct of a serious nature that is contrary to the spirit of the game’.
“Smith accepted the charge and the proposed sanction of two suspension points which equates to a ban for the next Test match and which will see four demerit points added to his record.”
If a player gets four demerit points within 24 months, he gets a one Test or two-limited over game ban.
If he gets eight demerit points within 24 months, the ban doubles.
Mr Richardson said: “The decision made by the leadership group of the Australian team to act in this way is clearly contrary to the spirit of the game, risks causing significant damage to the integrity of the match, the players and the sport itself and is therefore ‘serious’ in nature.
“As captain, Steve Smith must take full responsibility for the actions of his players and it is appropriate that he be suspended.”
“The game needs to have a hard look at itself. In recent weeks we have seen incidents of ugly sledging, send-offs, dissent against umpires’ decisions, a walk-off, ball tampering and some ordinary off-field behaviour.
“The ICC needs to do more to prevent poor behaviour and better police the spirit of the game, defining more clearly what is expected of players and enforcing the regulations in a consistent fashion.
“In addition and most importantly Member countries need to show more accountability for their teams’ conduct.
“Winning is important but not at the expense of the spirit of the game which is intrinsic and precious to the sport of cricket. We have to raise the bar across all areas.”
Additionally, Australia opener Cameron Bancroft has been fined 75 per cent of his match fee and handed three demerit points for breaching Level 2 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the third day’s play on Saturday.
He told BuzzFeed News: “It was great meeting the couple of the moment, albeit brief, it was clear that they really appreciated the work that we are doing at Reprezent Radio. They were really engaging.”
He added: “I wasn’t nervous at all, but was surprised when he took it and put it in his pocket! Meghan seemed to appreciate the gesture as well.”
Last night he went a step further and set up a petition #JevanniLetfordRoyalWeddingDJ as he really wants it to happen.
When asked what song he’d play for the couple’s first dance he said: “As the first dance is special, I would obviously let them tell me what they want to have.”
