Ghosting an employer could potentially have negative repercussions for your job search and reputation. Learn why.Read More

“Jamie dies first and keeps his promise that he’ll find Claire in death, and as he waits he takes advantage of opportunities to see her on the holidays when the spirit and real world are open to each other, like Samhain.
“If DG says that the series ends in Scotland, then I’m guessing Jamie dies in Scotland, and so his ghost can only roam there, so we don’t see his ghost visiting her in Boston, etc.
“Claire would only be in Scotland on these kinds of holidays at the beginning of book 1 and maybe once or twice more while she’s with Jamie in the 1740’s before/after Paris, so this time we see him visiting her is kind of his only opportunity.
“Maybe every year he visits her until she dies and joins him.”

Speaking at PaleyFest LA, Sam said: “I am excited to see where Jamie goes this season, but to be honest, we now have six, almost seven, years of experience behind us.
“We have scenes, we have characters, we have things in the books we haven’t covered. We can call back on stuff.
“We have seen there are other time travellers out there. It feels as though the universe is opening up a bit more for us to draw upon, as well for the writers.”
Outlander seasons 1-5 are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video or Starz.

To borrow a phrase from the film adaptation of this week’s Canonical Studies text: The plot to get Tariq St. Patrick on the stand in his mother’s murder trial? It’s alive! It’s aliiiiiiiive!
Sunday’s Power Book II: Ghost starts with a discussion of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and ends with Tariq’s hiring Tameika as his lawyer and announcing that he’s going to confess to Ghost’s murder. In between, there’s an unsuccessful hit, the return of Epiphany (insert praise hands emoji) and some casual dismemberment. Read on for the highlights of “Monster.”
CANE REALLY GOES ROGUE | After cutting up the GTG guys he killed last episode and sticking them in an oil drum (while Lil Guap looks on, horrified), Cane is surprised to see his brother show up at GTG headquarters. Dru is incensed that Lil Guap is still alive, especially after the ambush outside the club. But Cane doesn’t want to hear it. “Either you with me, or you against me,” he tells Dru.
At home, Monet wonders why Dru didn’t kill them all — after all, he’s going to be the head of the family business now that Cane is out of the picture. And that business is experiencing a bit of difficulty: Cane took all of the Tejada dealers with him, and Rico is on his way with product to move.
Monet reorganizes her hustle by telling Tariq he’s got to move the cocaine in question. At Brayden’s suggestion, he reconnects with Effie, apologizes and gets her to sell the white stuff at Yale. She’s salty to him — with good reason — after he blew her off during her last day at Stansfield. He apologizes for that, then tells her that his mother wants him to do something really bad. (We’ll get to that in a moment.) “I can’t tell when you’re lying. I never can,” Effy says, and have I mentioned how much I like her? As they talk, she says that both he and she are monsters, and that he should make peace with that. “I accepted it about myself the night I turned you in to Choate. The sooner you accept it, the better off you’ll be.”
EPIPHANY RESURFACES | Saxe and MacLean visit Epiphany at the house of one of her regular customers, where she’s staying while the guy is out of town. They know she’s got some charges against her, but they float the idea that she could avoid jail time and retain custody of her kid… if she’s willing to testify at Tasha’s trial. Little do they know, Steven Ott has hired a photographer to tail Saxe. And when he sees the photos of the super-unethical joint visit to Epiphany, Ott demands that Saxe use them to destroy MacLean.
Meanwhile, MacLean leads Paula to believe that “Dr. Epiphany Turner” is an “expert witness,” which nearly makes Tasha’s eyes pop out of her head. “Epiphany ain’t no doctor. She’s a stripper!” she tells the investigator. Paula, who’s already suspicious of her lover/co-worker, realizes how bad all of this could be for their case. “If Saxe is calling her to the stand, what is Epiphany going to say about you?” she asks. Tasha realizes that Epiphany could easily name Tariq as being part of Tasha’s operation, so she asks Paula to pass along a message to Tariq: Epiphany is as dangerous as “Slim” — aka Kanan — ever was, and he should deal with her the way he dealt with him. (Oh, and Tasha 100 percent has figured out that Paula and MacLean are filing each other’s legal briefs, if you know what I mean.)
MAN ON A MISSION | Tariq tracks Epiphany to the house and is about to pull out his gun when she mentions that Davis MacLean and “some square white boy” (heh) were there. He’s about to do something very bad when she casually mentions that if she had the money to do so, she’d just go on the run. And later, in court, Epiphany is MIA when she’s called to testify.
Things devolve from there. Saxe and MacLean fight, and Saxe shows him the photos. Paula confronts Davis about lying about Epiphany and not telling her about his side deal with Saxe, and the level of their whisper-shouting is quite admirable. And when court is back in session, Saxe surprises everyone by calling Tariq as a witness.
DRU DOWN! | When Tariq goes to the bar to meet Monet, he’s very upfront about telling her that he gave Epiphany the money earned from selling Tejada drugs. She pulls a gun on him, and things are about to get very ugly and/or fatal, but then two cars pull up outside and start shooting up the bar with abandon. Tariq grabs Diana and gets cover, while Monet and Dru scramble to avoid the firestorm, too. Eventually, Dru decides he’s going to sneak out the back and try to sneak up on the shooters, but he winds up taking a bullet in the shoulder.
Cane shows up a moment later, having figured out that Rico — who was looking for a new distro — was trying to cut Monet out of the game. At the hospital, Dru goes into surgery and Monet tells Cane never to come around again. So Cane calls Ramirez, angry that the hit went awry and didn’t kill its intended target: Tariq. (Side note: Not gonna lie — I’m a little shaky on this point. The hit in question was the one at the bar? Or the one at Stansfield? I realize this makes me sound very dumb, but I cannot figure it out. Halp.) Anyway, Cane gets so angry that he winds up killing Ramirez. Oops.
TARIQ’S NEW COUNSEL | Later on, Paula serves Tariq his subpoena to appear in court and offers him some friendly advice in the process: “You need a lawyer, Tariq. Davis is setting you up.” We learn that she’s no longer working for him, and she shows him the graveyard video that Saxe gave MacLean weeks before.
So Tariq calls Tameika, who tells him to give her a dollar so she’s officially his lawyer and their conversations fall under attorney-client privilege. She asks him, point- blank: “Tariq, did you kill your father?” He takes a breath, then responds that he did, “not because I’m a monster. Because he was a monster.” Then, he announces that he’s going to confess everything when Saxe puts him on the stand.
CARRIE GETS IN DEEPER | Did we know that Carrie used to be a prosecutor? It’s totally possible that it came up before now, but it felt like news to me when it came up in this episode. Anyway, she and Jabari suggest that they form a buffer between the cops and the student body in the investigation of the dead body in the pool. So she starts asking Zeke questions and finds out more than she bargained for regarding GTG and such. But how much of that does she pass along — under the category of “anonymous intel from a random student” — to the detective in charge? It’s unclear.
When she returns to her office one afternoon, she finds Monet waiting for her. See, Monet has figured out that Zeke and his professor are sleeping together, so she threatens Carrie to stop poking around. “If Zeke gets in trouble for this swimming pool s–t, your name will be the first name out of my mouth,” she promises her.

Good ol’ 2-Bit shows up on the Stansfield campus in this week’s Power Book II: Ghost, just in time for Parents’ Weekend. And that makes sense, in a way: Though he’s no longer with us, the sins of Tariq’s father continue to truly eff with his son’s life.
But the Tejada family is not without its share of turmoil in “Family First,” which chronicles Cane’s ouster from Monet’s inner circle — not to mention her house. Read on for the episode’s highlights.
LET IT SNOW | Brayden wants Tariq to reconsider his big NO to selling cocaine: Homecoming/Parents’ Weekend is the perfect time to make a killing with the white stuff, he argues. But Tariq is steadfast that it’s a mess they don’t want to get into with Course Correct, and Brayden stands down. But then 2-Bit shows up at the dorm with a gun and a demand: Tariq will get him a large amount of cash — in keeping with Ghost’s promise to look out for him in exchange for Dre’s jail-cell death at the end of Power — or Tariq will die.
The only problem is that Monet hasn’t gotten Tariq product lately, so he’s strapped for cash. Just then, though, Effie shows up to offer him a deal: If he can help her move the coke she’s got, she’ll cut him in for half. He agrees, they have sex, and she makes a killing selling to stressed-out kids desperate to escape their parents and get back to the studying they’re missing.
It certainly feels like Effie is catching feelings for Tariq, though. And when he blows her off because something much larger is brewing (more on that in a moment), she gets angry. Right at that moment, she runs into Brayden — who knows her from Choate, remember? He quickly learns that she and Tariq had a side hustle and that Tariq flat-out lied to him about it. Later, when Tariq comes back to their room, a livid Brayden says they’re done.
CANE GOES ROGUE | Under Cane’s orders, a GTG member gets all dressed up like an overzealous Stansfield basketball fan and enacts a plan to kill Tariq while he’s at Zeke’s big game. That’s also the place where Tariq has planned to hand off the cash to 2-Bit. Tariq quickly realizes he’s being tailed and makes it to the athletic complex’s empty pool deck before the GTG guy jumps him. ‘Riq gives it all he has, but he’s just about to go be with Ghost when 2-Bit arrives, pulls the dude off Tariq and drowns him in the pool. For the courtesy, 2-Bit demands more money.
Naturally, GTG’s Lil Guap turns responsibility for the death back to Cane. And he and a couple of other gang member drive home their point by jumping Zeke and a few of his teammates after they exit a nightclub. Dru is able to stop Lil Guap from shooting his cousin’s kneecap off, but he nearly kills Lil Guap in the process. Everett sees it all and is horrified; by the time the punching is over, he’s outta there.
When Dru runs into Cane and hears about how their dad arranged the jailhouse beatdown, he asks his brother to kill Lil Guap to end the insanity. But instead, Cane kills two of Lil Guap’s henchmen and then demands that GTGs give him half of their business. Fearing for his life, Lil Guap quickly acquiesces.
And back at home, Monet realizes that she can no longer reign in her older son. So when he shows up at the house later, Diana sadly meets him at the doorway to let him know he’s no longer welcome in the organization or the family. Elsewhere, Tariq and Monet meet up so she can tell him that she didn’t put out the hit on him, and that she understands if he has to kill Cane at some point in the future. “If he comes for you, it is what it is,” she says (STONE COLD!), but quickly clarifies that he’s a dead man if he seeks Cane out for any retribution.
JABARI, GET A GRIP! | Jabari meets again with his agent, who loves the start of a new story he’s working on. But he wants to know how it ends… and we all know that Jabari hasn’t had an original thought in his entire life. So Jabari — still thinking that Tariq and Prof. Milgram are playing “Hide the Syllabus” — starts tailing young St. Patrick. He follows him to a handoff with Dru, where Jabari hears the words “Course Correct” and eventually looks for the app in the App Store. But Jabari also does a lot of mean-mugging and angry pencil-snapping, so would anyone even believe him if his cartoonish paranoia turns out to be even partly true?
Meanwhile, Zeke really is in love with Carrie — who meets Monet in passing this week, and it goes about as well as you’d think it would — and he winds up, shaken, at her apartment after the incident outside the club.
Now it’s your turn. What did you think of the episode? Let us know in the comments!

It’s that season of year again: When everyone gathers together, holds each other close and takes part in the time-honored tradition of Hanukkah Christmas Sex Week at Stansfield University.
Despite all of the condoms tossed around in this week’s Power Book II: Ghost, surprisingly few characters actually do the deed. But Tariq does get rid of a dead body, and Paz is back, so there’s that. Read on for the highlights of “Sex Week.”
CANE DISPLACED? | Cane and another masked man rob a church and pistol-whip the pastor. He hasn’t been home since his beat-down at the jail three days before, which is a problem, because he usually helps Monet handle things when they get their supply re-upped. So Diana tracks him down and advises him to show up when needed, which will slide him back in their mother’s good graces. He agrees, but makes her promise not to tell Monet where he is in the meantime.
But Cane gets picked up by the police on the way to the product delivery, so Diana calls Tariq to the bar. They wind up making out downstairs while the connect is giving Monet a hard time upstairs; when it gets violent, she shoots and kills him. Diana and Tariq run upstairs when they hear the noise, then Tariq winds up helping Dru dispose of the body. So when Ramirez gives Cane an alibi and goes with him to Monet’s, they learn that Tariq is handling things. And neither one of them seems excited about it.
SO CLOSE! | Tariq isn’t one of the finalists for the Canonical Studies fellowship. Carrie comes up to him after to let him know that if helping Zeke is hurting his GPA; of course, Jabari takes notice of their close conversation. But losing out on the chance to graduate early is the least of ‘Riq’s problems. And one of the most pressing issues at hand is that there are a ton of unfulfilled orders on the Course Correct app — and Simon Stern’s hubby, aka Tariq’s main source of funding, has noticed.
SEX, LIES AND JABARI’S BEING SHADY | Carrie and Zeke are still sleeping together, and he wants her to meet his aunt. Of course, that’s never going to happen, but she’s gentle as she reminds him that she’s a professor and he’s a student and a star athlete, so “Any of this getting out would be explosive.” She encourages him to go to the annual Sex Week Q Party — incidentally, which Simon Stern started when he was a student at the school — and hook up with some co-eds. He says he’ll go for appearances’ sake, if she wants him to, but he’s only interested in being with her.
Afterward, while Zeke is in the shower, Jabari shows up with takeout and some sweet talk about how they’re back into their old groove. After seeing evidence that he assumes backs up his theory about a Carrie/Tariq relationship, Jabari messes with Tariq’s part in a class exercise about The 48 Laws of Power. Essentially, they partner up and have to figure out each other’s secret in order to get an A. Lauren and Tariq are partners, and because they’re super flirty, their work session soon turns into a tickle fight in her dorm room. That’s the exact moment that her boyfriend, Malcolm, arrives and (like a creeper) starts shooting photos of the pair thrashing around on the bed “so you can see yourself,” he tells Lauren when she realizes he’s there. After Tariq leaves, Lauren tells him they’re done. “Don’t make a mistake you’ll regret,” he cautions. “You are the mistake I regret. Get out,” she shoots back.
Even more messed up than Malcolm’s reaction to Lauren’s (actual) romantic interest in Tariq is Jabari’s reaction to Carrie’s (in no way based in fact) romantic interest in Tariq. He calls ‘Riq into his office to offer him another shot at the fellowship… provided he write a personal essay that discusses the power dynamic between himself and a woman he’s been with. “I want details. Specifics,” the prof says, and even though it’s a very bizarre extra-credit assignment, Tariq jumps at the chance to be back in the running.
LADY PROBLEMS! | Despite his 400 courses and doing all of Zeke’s homework, Tariq finds time to tail Riley. He winds up at her court hearing for a possession of marijuana charge. And when her lawyer/uncle Saxe shows up, a shocked Tariq knows he has to do something drastic. So he tells Brayden that Riley tried to hook up with him twice — but Brayden doesn’t believe him and angrily wonders why his roomie is lying. But after hearing from Trace that Riley and Tariq were in his room that night at the party, Brayden starts to think that something’s up. Riley denies any guilt, but Brayden ends things with her, anyway.
And on the night of the infamous Q Party, Lauren swings by Tariq’s room and announces that she and Malcolm are done. They start to make out, but as she goes to unzip his coat, he shuts her down and makes it seem like she’s only trying to get with him in order to best him in the class exercise. She’s hurt, so she leaves; then we see that he really wanted to put a stop to any potential nookie because he still has blood and such all over his clothes from helping Monet with her kill earlier that night.
MEANWHILE, AT TASHA’S TRIAL | Saxe calls Paz (aw, hi Paz!) to the stand, then walks a very fine line between honoring his alliance with Maclean and making Steven Ott think he’s trying to get Tasha put away as a queenpin. Paz basically makes Tasha look really bad, and then Maclean makes it look like Angela’s sister doesn’t know what she’s talking about, so it’s basically a wash. Afterward, though, Davis is MAD… until Saxe presents him with “a direct line for taking Tariq down” — aka the file for Epiphany Turner, the exotic dancer who was helping Tariq move product — “and it’s a slam-dunk.”
Later, Paz visits Tasha in jail. Tasha reasserts that she didn’t kill Jamie, but Paz points out that she knows who did. And, unlike Angela, she can still survive this whole mess. “Maybe it’s your turn to walk away,” Paz says.
Now it’s your turn. What did you think of the episode? Sound off in the comments!

Despite Julie and the Phantoms being a TV show about rock ‘n’ roll ghosts, the Netflix comedy’s most pleasant surprise is neither musical nor supernatural.
It’s the relationship between drummer Alex (played by Knight Squad‘s Owen Joyner), who is revealed to be openly gay in Episode 2, and fellow ghost Willie (played by Descendants‘ Booboo Stewart).
Without spoiling their entire journey over the show’s nine-episode first season, the pair’s connection is not only respected but celebrated, resulting in the kind of refreshingly positive representation of a same-sex relationship that you don’t often see in programming targeted at a younger audience.
“The way that Alex deals with his issues — including finding acceptance from his chosen family, instead of his given family — is a cool thing for kids to see,” Joyner tells TVLine. “You’ve got your friends, too, and you can lean on them,”
Read on for our full Q&A with Joyner about bringing Alex (back) to life, fanboying over Cheyenne Jackson and developing an on-screen relationship with Stewart:
TVLINE | I have to say, this was one of the most bingeable shows I’ve watched in a minute. This must have been a dream project for you.
Oh, I was excited as soon as I first read the breakdown for the show and the characters. I’d been with Nickelodeon for six years, where I did two shows and one pilot, but I never got to bring that musical side of myself into any of my projects. And I’ve been doing musical theater since I was 10, so singing, playing the drums and acting are the three things I love to do. I also hate to dance, and I figured that I wouldn’t have to dance as the drummer. I was wrong.
TVLINE | Uh-oh, what happened?
I think it was on the first day of rehearsals. Kenny came in and said, “Owen, I’ve got the perfect thing for you — a dance number with Carrie!” I was like, “What do you have in mind?” And he was like, “Oh, something small.” The way Kenny works is that he’ll pitch something to you that he knows you’re nervous about, but he’ll make it seem like nothing. And then you end up doing an entire choreographed dance in front of, like, 70 background and crew members. It was actually a lot of fun.
TVLINE | Speaking of the show’s music, has any particular earworm gotten stuck in your head?
They’re all in my head at this point, but I had a few favorite ones on set. I watched Madison do “Wake Up,” which is such a beautiful song, and I hadn’t heard the mastered version yet. And then we had the sun that came up in the background, which was beautiful, and Kenny was tearing up. To see [Madison Reyes] sort of find her place on set was a really cool moment — I was happy to be there for it. I also grew up doing musical theater, so I knew all about Cheyenne Jackson. We had already gotten our parts when Kenny was looking for someone to play Caleb, and when he brought up Cheyenne Jackson, I pooped myself a little bit. I was like, “Oh, yeah, that’d be cool.” So “Other Side of Hollywood” was insane to film, because I just sat there watching Cheyenne Jackson doing his thing.
TVLINE | Well, I’m now a Sunset Curve fan. You guys really do have great chemistry as bandmates.
We had a big six-week rehearsal process before we started shooting. When we started it, we figured that they just want us to learn the songs and instruments, but it actually went way past that. [Kenny] wanted us to bond and become friends, and it worked. I’ve made friends for life.
TVLINE | Let’s talk about Alex. I won’t lie, when I heard there was an openly gay character on this show, I thought, “Cool, he’ll have two lines and no love interests.” I was wrong.
[Laughs] No! You should have faith in Kenny Ortega.
TVLINE | I really should. How does it feel to play an openly character on a show directed at a slightly younger audience? It’s kind of a rarity.
At first, I was very excited because I thought it was a story that the younger generation could benefit greatly from seeing. And the way that Alex deals with his issues — including finding acceptance from his chosen family, instead of his given family — is a cool thing for kids to see. You’ve got your friends, too, and you can lean on them. I just wanted to play Alex honestly and respectfully. I wanted to do something that people would be proud of, and I hope they are. I just trusted Kenny when he said he wanted me to play it, and I gave it my best shot.
TVLINE | And I’m not sure kids can appreciate how much courage it must have taken Alex to come out back in 1995.
Yes! He’s been himself since ’95. And that’s another thing that was so important for Kenny. Alex never really had a big coming-out episode. Kenny and the writers knew that this kid has always been proud to be himself. And I think it’s cool to make it a normal thing within television. His struggles are less about “How am I going to come out?” and more just about acceptance.
TVLINE | Well, I’m pretty sure that Alex is TV’s first openly gay drummer — definitely the first openly gay ghost drummer.
[Laughs] I’m hoping he’s a first in something.
TVLINE | I was excited to see that Alex and Willie ended up as the show’s main couple. How was it building that dynamic with Booboo Stewart?
So cool. He’s the best. He’s the coolest guy ever. He was a guest star, so he wasn’t with us at our seven weeks of rehearsals and training. We had all become best friends by then, and we were going into filming the show with this real relationship. Booboo and I were worried because we had to create a relationship out of nowhere, but he touched down the day before we started filming and was like, “Can I come over and run lines?” So we did that for a couple of hours. He’s just the coolest guy ever, so it was all really natural.
TVLINE | Do you believe Willie really has feelings for Alex, that he wasn’t just getting close to him at Caleb’s behest?
If I were to write it, yes, I think there are feelings there. As an actor, I really hope so, because I had the best time with Booboo. If we get a second season, I know it would be the best time again.

Warning: This post contains a major spoiler from the premiere of Power Book II: Ghost.
Tasha’s Hail Mary attempt to avoid a prison sentence in Sunday’s premiere of the Power spinoff is likely to have one hell of a consequence, in the form of the return of certain volatile criminal whose name rhymes with “Shmommy Shmegan.”
While on trial for murder, Tasha claimed her innocence, then was pressed to give the name of the gunman who shot and killed her husband, James “Ghost” St. Patrick. Unwilling to implicate the actual shooter — her teenage son, Tariq — Tasha told the court that her husband’s former business partner, Tommy Egan, was the person who’d done the deed. (Click here to read a full recap of the premiere.)
In a recent interview, Power Book II: Ghost boss Courtney Kemp told TVLine that the move “is not premeditated. She knows that Tariq wants her to say his own name… and she can’t. She can’t bring herself to do it, so she says it’s Tommy.”
Kemp pointed out that Tasha and Tariq had planned to pin the blame on Ghost’s dead nemesis, Dre, but that Saxe had ruled him out as a suspect earlier in the episode. “Dre has been taken away from her as a scapegoat. Who does she have left?,” the executive producer said. “So she says ‘Tommy.’”
Tommy, played by Joseph Sikora in the original series, was last seen leaving New York for California. A spinoff starring Sikora, titled Power Book IV: Force, will follow the character as he puts the Big Apple behind him and starts a new life.
At this point, it’s important for you to know that earlier in TVLine’s conversation with Kemp, she told TVLine that, “By the end of the season, you are going to see a very familiar face.” And when the subject of Tasha’s big announcement came up, Kemp grinned.
“Remember how I said a familiar face would show up at some point?” she said airily. “I don’t know: If somebody said in court that I did something that I didn’t do, I might feel compelled to show up, maybe, and talk to them about it?”
https://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2020/09/power-tommy-book-ii-ghost-joseph-sikora-return-1.png
James “Ghost” St. Patrick is dead, but the fact that his besieged family’s ongoing story still draws you in? Such is his Power.
In fact, when the Starz drama’s first spinoff premieres Sunday (9/8c), you may feel at first like you’re watching the start of a new season of the original series. After all, the action picks up just after the events of Power‘s finale: Ghost’s wife, Tasha, is awaiting arraignment for confessing to the drug kingpin’s murder, while her son/the actual murderer, Tariq, prepares to start college.
But, as showrunner Courtney Kemp points out, Power Book II: Ghost is a whole new game.
“It’s a spinoff — and not the next season — because I felt that if I tried to sell an audience a season of Power without Ghost in it, it would feel less-than, because his story was done,” the executive producer tells TVLine. “I can’t say we’ll never see that character again, but in the way that we were telling his story, where we were with him in and out every day? That was over.”
So whether you’re an OG fan or new to the Powerverse, we figured we’d throw together a little rundown of the old and new faces (including two Grammy winners!) you’ll see in Book II: Ghost. Click through the gallery at right — or go to it directly here — to (re)acquaint yourselves with some of the major players, then hit the comments with your predictions for the spinoff!

Meanwhile, the final spin-off, titled Force, is set to continue the story of Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) after he skipped town at the end of season six.
The last in Power’s long line of spin-offs will see Tommy adapt to his new lifestyle in Los Angeles after leaving New York in the latest finale.
Renowned as one of Power’s most unpredictable characters, Tommy has been responsible for several deaths throughout the show’s history.
For example, after strangling his girlfriend Holly Weaver (Lucy Walters) to death, many fans were left disgusted and calling for Tommy himself to be killed off.
