The I’m A Celeb camp was left in stitches when Ruthie Henshall around in search of a non-existent light switch. The 53-year-old West End star – who had arrived at the camp later than the other contestants – was the focus of a cheeky prank earlier this week as the celebrities tried to get some sleep. During this week’s recap episode, former EastEnders legend Shane Richie asked Ruthie to turn off the lights so that the camp could go to sleep. Ruthie then wandered around the camp trying to find a lightswitch, unaware that there was no such thing and it had all been a cheeky prank. Speaking in the Telegraph, Shane proudly explained that he had come up with the hilarious joke. “Thing is right, I asked Ruthie to turn the light switches off so we could go to sleep, but what she doesn’t know is there are no light switches,” he said. Before long, the actress had realised that she had fallen for a prank and the camp erupted into laughter. Although she had been sent on a wild goose chase, Ruthie saw the funny side and also shared a giggle. “I got jumped out on by Prince Charles and Prince Edward when I was having a cook-out with them!” revealed during the interview. “They told me there were ghosts in this particular place and when I went to the toilet with a candle because there was no electricity, they waited for me to come out and then jumped out on me!” She added: “I screamed the place down! They were hilarious.” Although her relationship with Prince Edward eventually came to an end, the actress remained close to the royal family and even attended Edward’s wedding to Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999. Since entering the I’m A Celebrity camp, Ruthie has also opened up about her royal romance with her co-stars. At one point, Ruthie explained that the Prince had been a ‘lovely bloke’ and she had many memories of her time with the royal family. “You performed in Buckingham Palace, you sang in the gardens, I s****ed in the bedrooms,” she told Shane as the camp relaxed. She even revealed that she had several encounters with Princess Diana but had one particularly hazy memory because Prince Charles had given the actress her I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV. Others suggested TalkRADIO scoop him up: “I hope @talkRADIO can afford him,'” and someone else added: “@Nigel_Farage move over to @talkRADIO.” However, some were very pleased with the news. “This is absolutely the right thing to do. His racist dog-whistling should have no place on a mainstream platform. Fantastic news. Now do Ferrari,” someone remarked. Another added: “Excellent news – I am glad LBC have seen sense and will not be giving airtime to the hate he peddles.” A twitter user remarked: “Full-time politicians shouldn‘t be hosting talk radio shows anyway. It gives them free air time and a platform with no-one to challenge them. The practice needs to stop. Put trained journalists back behind the microphone.” “We, over the last few weeks, have felt it was too early to release these measures, the so called R number, the transmission rate of the virus we think is still a bit higher in Scotland because we had our first cases a little bit later, so we’re a bit behind that curve.” “I’m determined to do what’s right for Scotland. That’s my job and my responsibility,” she continued. “All countries are going to be looking at the same things because we’re all trying to unlock exactly the same thing. “If you look at route maps from other countries, not just the UK but Ireland and countries across Europe, there’s a great similarity between them but what’s important is we do it at the right time and in the right sequence and that’s what I’m trying to do.” Countryfile was back on BBC One this evening, and fans of the show were eager to settle into yet another episode. The episode was centred in Somerset and saw presenters Matt Baker and Adam Henson visit a section of farms in the area. However, viewers were quickly left frustrated by the programme as Matt spent some time on a farm in Somerset called Stream Farm. The farm was what’s known as a share farm, which gives access to land for people who want to be farmers. Yet, viewers weren’t very impressed by the amount of so-called “middle-class Londoners” that come to these farms. Many viewers then took to Twitter to complain about this fact. One viewer said: “This is basically posh English folk getting out of Londonistan & living life free of wearing a stab vest everywhere!” Another said: “Is this designer farming, middle-class types from the city turning up in a Range Rover with a pair of hunters under there arms asking to be a farmer.” Another said: “We quit our city jobs once we were rich enough to become farmers.” “So Countryfile. Not entirely representative? Just saying. As someone who lives in the countryside,” wrote another viewer. “Her background is upper middle class,” added one more viewer. A viewer added: “Gosh I feel like a real nimby here but meh! Not one actual Somerset accent and has everyone moved from bloody London?” “So #Somerset has clearly become a beacon for Londoners. They’re the only ones I guess who can take the financial risk of attempting a different lifestyle #countryfile,” said one more viewer. This came after last week’s episode saw Matt Baker travel to the British county of Cheshire. However, viewers were a little unsettled at the end of the show. After learning about the wildlife which inhabits the county, Matt and Ellie wrapped the BBC show by enjoying some culinary delights by enjoying a scone with sweet jam and clotted cream to accompany. Taking to Twitter in light of the show’s conclusion, viewers were outraged by Matt and Ellie’s afternoon tea etiquette and didn’t hold back in letting their opinions known. One viewer posted: “Scone: Jam: Cream that’s how you prep a cream tea. None of this half&half that I’ve just spotted on #countryfile.” Another added: “Ellie you need some serious professional help, 1/2 & 1/2 is no way to treat a scone. #countryfile.” While a third remarked: “Half and half! That’s a travesty if you’re not gonna do it properly don’t bother #countryfile.” Countryfile continues Sunday at 6.35pm on BBC One. However, The Greatest Dancer didn’t get off to a great start with audiences after BBC bosses wedged in intentional Brexit references to rock the boat where they weren’t needed as part of yet another entertainment show. First up, viewers saw KLA Dance Institute, an all-girl formation group from Wales take to the stage. Oti Mabuse, the stand-out star of tonight’s show, even joined the troupe on stage for a Cha-Cha after the group made it through to the callbacks. Needing to secure 75 per cent audience approval before the stage doors would open, several clips showed audience members comparing the vote to the Brexit referendum. One audience member, who was wearing a microphone, was focused on by the production team to say: “Voting on this was so much harder than voting on Brexit.” Next, a classical ballet dancer from Kazakhstan named Yassaui took to the stage but unfortunately failed to make it through to the next stage of the contest. The competitor reached just 73 per cent, but required 75 per cent to qualify. The BBC then focussed on another member of the audience with a microphone who said: “I tell you, the public has got it wrong. It’s Brexit part two.” Furious viewers instantly took to social media, with one tweeting: “If #TheGreatestDancer mentions Brexit one more time I’m changing channels. #TGD.” “How many times they gonna mention brexit in this programme ffs #thegreatestdancer,” posted another. A third wrote: “There we go. Just when you thought you were safe, some gobsh**e mentions #Brexit on #TheGreatestDancer.” “Has the BBC offered audience members a tenner for every time they mention Brexit? #TheGreatestDancer,” teased another. A fifth said: “@bbc it’s a dancing competition enough with the Brexit remarks. #thegreatestdancer.” It comes after a series of Brexit references on BBC entertainment shows within the past week that has riled viewers from both sides of the vote. On New Year’s Day, Doctor Who aired its special episode titled Resolution, after the 2018 Christmas Day episode was scrapped. However, after the “politically correct” episode included Brexit references, viewers were not happy in the slightest. New writer Chris Chibnall seemingly chose to reference Brexit with a dig and many fans were not impressed. The Doctor was in urgent need of help after facing trouble against the Daleks, and chose to phone UNIT, the Unified Intelligence Taskforce who investigate and combat paranormal and extraterrestrial threats to the Earth. After facing a difficult call-handler, the Doctor said: “This is incredibly urgent, the fate of the entire planet is at stake!” The call-handler replied: “Oh, I’m so sorry. UNIT operations have been suspended, pending review.” Shocked, the Doctor gasped: “What? No, it can’t have been. UNIT is a fundamentally vital protection for planet Earth against alien invasion. What happened to it?” The call-handler continued: “All UNIT operations were put on hold following financial disputes and subsequent funding withdrawal by the UK’s major international partners,” as the Doctor sighed: “You’re kidding!” The operator added: “Other armed forces are available if you could answer a couple of questions on how I may best direct your call,” before the Doctor stated: “We’re on our own!” Earlier this week, the BBC also aired the “EU-themed fireworks” put on by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan as part of its live New Year’s Eve coverage. One viewer even claimed: “The BBC is starting 2019 the way it finished 2018 – on an anti-Brexit yawnquest. #BBCBigBenLive #DoctorWho.” I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! lineup was completed when Noel Edmonds arrived into the Australia Jungle two days ago. With his arrival came a camp format change and saw him become The Emperor whilst the other celebrities took on the roles of Gladiators. Tonight, viewers tuned in to see Nick Knowles, Anne Hegerty and James McVey take on a mini-challenge to win care packages for their campmates. After successfully securing eight out of eleven parcels, Noel informed the camp of their success, and he alongside advisor Harry Redknapp had the opportunity to decided which celebrities would be lucky enough to receive them. However those watching the scene at home were left furious when Noel read out he would be receiving a care package. They quickly took to Twitter to discuss and claimed it was unfair for the Deal Or No Deal presenter to have his parcel because of the short time he has been on the show. One said: “Noel’s p****d me off giving himself a care package when he’s been in for about 5 hours, got a hotel bed in the jungle, eaten EVERYDAY and done no trials! Do one #ImACeleb.” “Noel should give his care package up. He’s only just got in there! #ImACeleb,” another argued. A third added: “Why is Noel getting a care package?! He’s been there five minutes #ImACeleb.” “This is seriously getting unfair.. Noel goes in and gets a chair, a bed, food and his care package? He’s only been there a couple of nights..why does he need his?! #ImACeleb,” one Twitter user wrote. Whilst viewers were shown part of the discussion Noel and Harry had to decide who was going to receive their package, it was never clarified whether Noel chose himself to receive his care package or if it was the instructions of the I’m A Celebrity producers via the laminate. Nevertheless, his reign as The Emperor was short lived as presenters Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly arrived into camp with news. At the end of tonight’s instalment, they revealed the public had not been voting for the next Bushtucker Trial. Instead, Noel and Harry would automatically be competing in it, and their time in authority was over. It comes after today’s trial which saw Rita Simons, Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Emily Atack and John Barrowman MBE go head to head in Down or Out. Split into two teams, they had to unlock a series of chambers to shut off the water filling the tanks. However several of the keys were dummies and didn’t work. It was a race against the water to find the correct ones and make sure the tank didn’t overflow, thus winning the task. Unfortunately for John and Emily, their tank filled up the quickest which made Rita and Malique the direct winners. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs at 9pm every night on ITV.

Ahead of the historic meeting between the leaders of North and South Korea on Friday, political emblems depicting unity have been rolled out across South Korea.
One of these is an outline of the full Korean Peninsula, like on the Korean unification flag seen prominently at the Olympics. Inside Peace House, where Kim Jong Un and Moon Jae-In will meet, chairs have been engraved with the same outline and a miniature version of the flag will be placed on a dessert later in the day. Loyal fans of the show expressed their outrage when they discovered that Chapter Thirty: The Noose Tightens will not be released until April 18.
Furious fans took to Twitter to complain about the delayed episode, with one writing: “Sad that Riverdale is not coming on this week.
Another disappointed viewer tweeted: “Riverdale doesn’t air a new episode this week. Ahhh.” (sic)
A third fumed: “Why the f*** are y’all not playing a new show tonight @CW_Riverdale. WHAT DO YOU MEAN IN TWO WEEKS, COME ON. I’m mad.”(sic)
“Season two of Riverdale was on @Netflix yesterday and now it’s not and I don’t know what to do with my life,” moaned another.
Others complained a third season had been confirmed before the latest episode had aired.
One whined: “So Riverdale season two is not even out on Netflix but they announced season three. I don’t understand.”
“I just want to watch season two of Riverdale but it’s not out on Netflix yet and they just a announced the third season,” commented another.
The CW, an American television network, announced that there would be a third season of Riverdale.
A statement released on Twitter, read: “Order another round of milkshakes! Riverdale is renewed for season three on The CW!”
Despite disappointment about the final episode of season two most fans welcomed the announcement, with one tweeting: “My dream has come true. Give us #vughead and #barchie!”
Another added: “Congrats for season three and thank you for giving us a great show,” while another said: “I can’t wait for it come out. I’m so excited.”
Riverdale season two premiered in October 2017, with a record audience of 2.3 million.
The second series has a total of 22 episodes and it seems likely season three would have a similar number.
Riverdale originates from the Archie Comics, which started in 1941.
The series centres around a group of high school students who work to solve the mysterious secrets of Riverdale.
It stars include K.J Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madeline Petsch, Madchen Amick and Sarah Habel.
Season three is likely to premiere in October 2018, although no date has be given, as of yet.
Riverdale season 2 airs on Netflix on April 18.
Jennifer, 36, had a tough decision on tonight’s instalment of The Voice.
The soul singer was forced to whittle her team from six to two and it seemed whoever she picked would upset viewers.
Young Rhianna went first with her energetic rendition of Rita Ora’s Anywhere.
She was quickly followed by opera duo, Bella Voci, who stunned with an Italian language piece.
Jason finished up tonight’s offering with a gospel-style version of Mariah Carey’s Believe.
As Jennifer was forced to pick the winner of the three, she seemed to go for a left-field choice.
Bella Voci made it through and viewers certainly had something to say about it.
One fumed: “What are you playing at @IAMJHUD wrong choice you have made nothing against @bellevocimusic.”
Another raged: “CRAZY @IAMJHUD #TheVoiceUK putting that opera through instead of Jason , what are you on.”
A third added: “Uhhh J Hud you’re great and all but what were you thinking? Jason had that in the bag, quite frankly he should have won the whole competition. Those girls aren’t recording artists, it’s the wrong show for them. Even the other girl was more suited, but JASON OML.”
However, some were in agreement with Jennifer and flocked to share their messages of support for the opera duo.
One fan tweeted: “Excellent choice #JHud on taking #BellaVoci through to the next round. Their voices are certainly Bella Voci.”
A second said: “Bella Voce brought tears to my eyes. I actually love them.”
Another agreed, insisting: “Excellent choice #JHud on taking #BellaVoci through to the next round. Their voices are certainly Bella Voci.”
This comes after last week’s controversial decision from will.i.am which prompted a similar outcry from viewers.
The Voice UK continues next week on ITV at 8.30pm.
The Montreal suburb of Hampstead’s decision to ban smoking in all public spaces has prompted a mixed reaction from residents, with some wondering if the bylaw is necessary at all.
