Finn Wolfhard recently spoke to Variety about the series and his experiences playing fan favourite Hawkins teen, Mike Wheeler. The 17-year-old star is also known for appearances in It and The Goldfinch, but his tenure on Netflix’s blockbuster series remains his most renowned performance. During the interview, Finn compared working on Stranger Things to Harry Potter, as audiences have watched the younger cast members growing up on screen. Variety asked: “When it comes to the character that so many of us know you from, how do you feel about eventually saying goodbye to Mike Wheeler?” The penultimate episode of American Horror Story: 1984 set the stage for a massive Camp Redwood reunion, with everyone — be they alive, dead or merely presumed dead — returning to the scene of the crime(s) for one final showdown. Let’s begin with Brooke and Donna. When a reporter for The National Enquirer, who happened to be writing a true-crime book about Mr. Jingles, tracked the ladies down at a shady motel, Brooke made her an offer she couldn’t refuse: If she agreed to keep their whereabouts a secret, Brooke would deliver proof that Margaret was the murderous mastermind behind the massacres. What she didn’t mention, however, was that she planned on killing the reporter before she had a chance to write a single word of her story. And were it not for Donna intervening at the last minute, she totally would have. Meanwhile, a recently deceased Jingles roamed the woods in search of Richard, still determined to exact his revenge. And he probably would have succeeded were it not for Bruce coming out of nowhere and hitting him with the hot pink car he stole from the Mary Kay saleswoman he killed. Richard wasn’t thrilled to learn that Jingles had already killed himself, leaving him to craft a new evil scheme: “I’m going to Alaska and I’m going to cut your boy into little pieces,” he said. “Killing your son will be my final revenge!” His tirade was rudely interrupted by Margaret, who arrived on the scene and shot Jingles dead. Again. (Honestly, that hitchhiker wasn’t exaggerating. I’m already having trouble keeping count of Jingles’ mounting deaths.) Now, here’s where things got interesting: After his body was taken out to the lake and devoured by a swamp creature, Jingles awoke once again, this time in a remote location with his mother and brother. “The past will haunt you forever if you let it,” Lily Rabe’s character told him when he asked how he can move on. “We’re a family here. This is where you can find peace.” Oh, and remember the reporter that Brooke nearly murdered earlier in the episode? She attempted to escape the campgrounds, but like so many people before her, she was captured and killed by Richard and Bruce. And the bloodshed is far from over; Margaret instructed her dead henchmen to murder every act at the festival — except Billy Idol, per Richard’s request — thus turning Camp Redwood into an extremely profitable destination for ’80s rock fans looking for an expensive place to mourn their fallen favorites. Also worth discussing… * Am I completely insane, or is Montana slowly evolving into a sympathetic character? I’m beginning to find myself genuinely invested in her relationship with Trevor — who basically loves her because she’s an eternal embodiment of all things ’80s, from cocaine to aerobics classes. When she told Trevor, “I’m not someone you can love, much less die for. I’m a monster,” I felt that. * I knew this would be Horror Story‘s shortest season yet, but I truly cannot believe we’ve already arrived at the finale. Hey, at least next week’s episode will include the long-overdue return of Finn Wittrock:
Your thoughts on this week’s AHS: 1984? Hopes for the grand finale? Whatever’s on your mind, drop it in a comment below. Tommy was sent into panic mode, fearing for his future after all went wrong, but who pulled the trigger? Now, fans think the plan was exposed by someone they trusted. Fans were left furious, believing that Finn Shelby (Harry Kirton) was the one to blame after letting the plans slip to Billy Grade (Emmett J Scanlan). Previous scenes saw Finn throw a wad of cash at Billy, telling him to spend the evening drinking and with a girl. Lesnar has been wrestling on a part-time basis with WWE ever since his return in 2012 from UFC and his schedule never changed, even during his last three world title reigns. The Beast was supposed to defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble on January 27 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. However, plans changed and Strowman was replaced by Finn Balor who won a Fatal 4-Way No1 Contender’s Match against John Cena, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin. The storyline behind the switch claims that The Monster Among Men was omitted and fined $ 100,000 for destroying WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon’s limousine. There was also speculation that the ex-RAW Tag Team Champion is still not fighting fit following a recent elbow surgery. However, reports suggest that McMahon doesn’t want Lesnar to drop the title at the Royal Rumble just yet. The Chairman also isn’t keen to have Strowman lose another high-profile match as he fears that will make him look weak ahead of WrestleMania 35. Therefore, it was decided that Balor will be the one to battle Lesnar instead and doesn’t seem likely to dethrone the UFC legend. The Conqueror will probably make an appearance to address his new No1 Contender via his advocate Paul Heyman. WWE.com teased another appearance by Heyman that could see him expressing his thoughts on his client’s new challenger. Balor and Lesnar were initially supposed to battle at last year’s Royal Rumble. However, the plans were scrapped because management didn’t feel like The Extraordinary Man was good enough for that kind of showdown. Rumours suggest Lesnar handpicked The Demon King as his next opponent this year and the match was finally made official last week. The ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion seems set to retain the title and go on to defend it against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.

Strowman and Balor locked horns once more following last week’s stunning bout that saw The Monster Among Men prevailing.
The ex-RAW Tag Team Champion once again dominated most of the encounter against The Demon King and even got the fans involved with an insane spot.
Strowman hit the first ever Universal Champion with a savage Running Shoulder Tackle at ringside and sent him flying to the front row.
The Irishman landed on some fans while the rest of the crowd at The Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia watched in awe.
However, Balor came close to picking up the upset as he was getting ready to hit his monstrous opponent with the second Coup de Grace.
But Kevin Owens interfered and ruined the match by attacking The Demon who won via Disqualification.
RAW General Manager Kurt Angle punished Owens by inserting him in a match against Bobby Roode on RAW.
KO, Roode, Balor and Strowman will take part in next month’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
They will also face The Miz, Rusev and a member of The New Day on June 17.
Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe will face off on Smackdown to determine the final participant for the exciting match and rumours suggest Big E will be the one to represent The New Day.
Finn and Rey are the heart and soul of the new Star Wars trilogy. When Daisy Ridley and John Boyega literally crashed into each other in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, they instantly had so much charm and chemistry that it was no question that they were fit to lead Star Wars into a new era.
That’s why it was such a tragedy that they were kept apart in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But don’t worry, Finn-Rey shippers. That dynamic that you loved so much in Force Awakens will be back in Star Wars Episode 9.
At Washington, D.C.’s annual Awesome Con, John Boyega confirmed that Finn and Rey won’t spend Episode 9 separated from each other.
“I haven’t read the script for Episode 9. But Daisy did shoot me a text saying, “Oh my gosh, I just heard from J.J. [Abrams], and we’re back together. That’s what I’m really excited about, is Finn and Rey back together again.”
This is amazing news for anyone who dearly loved the relationships in The Force Awakens. As the middle child of the trilogy, The Last Jedi naturally had to test each of the characters in their own separate storylines. And while it would have been nice to have our beloved Finn, Rey, and Poe be tested altogether, that just wouldn’t have worked, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson previously told us. “[These] guys don’t challenge each other,” Johnson said in an interview with /Filmcast.
I mean, I get it, but that doesn’t mean I was counting down the seconds until Finn and Rey were sharing scenes again. And we finally got it — in the final minutes of The Last Jedi.
But, if what Boyega says is correct, that will be the opposite case in Star Wars Episode 9. We’ll get Finn and Rey gallivanting across the galaxy, together again! But it won’t be so easy for them, with the Resistance members dwindling and the First Order under the command of Kylo Ren.
“I think it’s going to be all-out war in this final chapter, so we need to be prepared,” Boyega added at Awesome Con.
What else could we see in Episode 9? Boyega isn’t sure, since he hasn’t seen the script — even though the Star Wars sequel starts shooting in three months — but he does have one thing that he he hopes the movie will tackle: Finn’s backstory.
“One question I’ve always had as an actor being involved in Star Wars is why Finn decided to defect in the first place. I still don’t understand. I would love to know more, to go into his life as a Stormtrooper.”
With The Force Awakens J.J. Abrams returning to direct, effectively book-ending the trilogy, it would be sweet to see the beginnings of the rogue Stormtrooper who started it all.
Star Wars: Episode 9 is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2019.

Viewers will remember that Emmerdale threw a huge spanner in the works by revealing that psychopath Emma’s (played by Gillian Kearney) killer was actually the beloved Moira (Natalie J. Robb).
There were some harrowing times ahead for the character on the ITV soap, especially when Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) found out the truth and convinced her son Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) to take the fall.
Yet after some trying weeks for everyone involved, it seemed that fears for Moira’s future in the Dales were done and dusted when Emma’s sons Ross (Michael Parr) and Pete (Anthony Quinlan) made their peace and agreed to keep her horrific secret.
Now though, a strange turn of events has seen ex-cast member Joe appear to let slip what’s next in the mother-of-three’s storyline.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the actor teased: “Well, you never know what’s going to come back and bite you on the bum do you?
“I’m sure that’ll be at the back of people’s minds. And obviously we know that things do come back to bite people.”
The 24-year-old went on to say that the sheer amount of people in the know about Moira’s dark secret is sure to provide a problem when it comes to keeping it from the police eventually.
“There’s a lot of people that know about Moira killing Emma, including Harriet [Finch] and Emma’s sons,” he continued. “So there’s every possibility that it could come back on her.”
It seems that Moira will eventually manage to atone for her sins by getting involved in someone else’s troubles. Could it be her partner Cain’s daughter Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb)?
Joe revealed: “You never know, Moira just might redeem herself by saving someone else’s life. You don’t know.”
Finn was killed in a tragic twist when Emma was convinced a foreign presence was after her in the forest during her final episodes.
Hearing movement, Emma panicked and fired a shot through the darkness but was absolutely broken when she realised it was her youngest son.
Since Finn and Emma’s death, Ross has faced an entirely new trauma when he was the victim of a horrific acid attack at the hands of drug dealer Simon McManus.
This week’s scenes have finally seen billionaire villain Joseph Tate (Ned Porteous) find out that his ex-girlfriend Debbie was behind the sick violence, so is Debbie’s number finally up?
Or will Moira and Cain save the day yet again?
Within the first few minutes of Finn meeting Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s obvious he has a crush on her. But one of the movie’s smartest decisions was to not actively fuel that particular fire, instead allowing for a blossoming friendship that never tipped into full-on romantic territory. But by the time Star Wars: The Last Jedi wraps up and Rose Tico plants a kiss on Finn, it feels like the seeds of a love triangle may have been planted. Now it’s up to J.J. Abrams to handle what happens moving forward.
I spoke with actor John Boyega at the press junket for Pacific Rim Uprising yesterday afternoon, and between questions about jaegers and kaiju, I asked him to tease the evolution of Finn in Star Wars: Episode 9 and who his preferred Finn love interest is. I have a feeling his answer is going to be somewhat controversial.

When I asked Boyega to tease the next phase for Finn, he told me that he hasn’t yet spoken with Episode 9 writer/director J.J. Abrams about his character yet:
Star Wars: The Last Jedi sees Finn essentially go from somebody who’s running away to being a Resistance leader. Han Solo became a general when he stopped running in Return of the Jedi. Have you talked to J.J.? Can you tease the next step for Finn?
Boyega: I really don’t know, but I’m going to try to meet him on my trip to L.A. before I head to China just for him to talk me through what his plans are, because I’m so intrigued to hear what he wants to do.
But the actor had a definitive answer when I asked him who he’d like to see Finn end up with in the long run:
The Force Awakens didn’t feature a romantic relationship between Finn and Rey, and I think a lot of people loved that. But it seems like those same fans now really want to see Finn in a romance, whether it’s with Rey or Rose –
[Both at the same time]: – or Poe.
Boyega: Or Chewbacca, or anyone. You guys are going savage! [laughs]
[laughs] Why do you think that is, and who would you like to see Finn end up with?
Boyega: Because Finn is the one character, for me, who has a distinct, unique relationship with everybody. He had this kind of banterous relationship with Han, then he has this loving relationship with Rey. Now with Rose, it feels like he has this great relationship. Personally? Rey. Yeah, Rey.

I somehow didn’t realize there were Finn/Chewbacca shippers out there, but of course there are.
I think a case could be made that Rey doesn’t need to get involved in a romantic relationship at all, but audiences have been conditioned to expect love stories to be woven through big blockbusters like these, and I have a feeling a lot of fans will agree with Boyega’s choice. (Sorry, Rose.) I loved The Last Jedi, but I was really hoping to see how the Rey/Finn relationship changed after The Force Awakens. Now that those characters are both healthy and on the same ship again, maybe Abrams will be able to pick up the baton and provide an answer in the next chapter of the story.
Pacific Rim Uprising arrives in theaters on March 23, 2018.
