However, Katie does maintain that the pair are “friendly”, and increasingly spending more time together as time goes on.

“I think they are certainly friendly and they are spending more time with each other,” she said.

“You know they’re neighbours in Kensington Palace and I know that Meghan enjoys going over to see Kate and the children, and she does enjoy that.

I’m told there’s always an open invitation for her to be with Kate ever when she wants.”

She also hit back against rumours that the two women have any form of rift between them.

“I think that any animosity is probably a fabrication in the press. I’ve never heard to suggest that they don’t get along.”

Alexandra confirmed her engagement in January with a social media post of her hand with “I said yes!” written on her palm.

With a ring on her engagement finger, Alexandra and Josh could be seen sharing a kiss in the background.

Alexandra added: “He’s such a great guy. I actually met him on the Bodyguard and, believe it or not, he wouldn’t talk to me for months.

“He’s a very shy person. But yeah, it took me months to even get to know him.

Meghan Markle, 36, will marry Prince Harry, 33, on May 19 this year, and it has been said the royal has different body language with her compared to previous girlfriends.

Body language expert Judi James said: “In the past we have seen Harry doing ‘fun’ and ’flirty’ with his girlfriends but I have never seen him do this level of body language mirroring until he met Meghan.”

Harry dated Chelsy, who is a Zimbabwean national, on and off between 2004 and 2011.

Analysing old photos of the pair, Judi said Harry “borders on bored” and “frowns”.

“Chelsy shows the most interest, leaning in and smiling, while Harry frowns with a facial expression that borders on the bored,” she said.

“Harry’s splayed, slumped torso suggests a very casual approach to the relationship here and the arm around her shoulders is on the back of her chair rather than cuddling her fondly.”

In another photo of the pair, Judi senses “boyish flirting” but little else in the way of romance.

Harry later dated Cressida, an English actress and model for two years between 2012 and 2014.

Looking at throwback photos of the pair, Judi said Harry seems “out of sync” with his now-ex, and once again “bored”.

“Harry is completely out of synch with her here, sitting slumped forward with a bored facial expression.

“In contrast, his girlfriend gives him maximum romantic attention by placing an arm around his shoulders and staring at his face.”

In contrast, photos of Meghan and Harry tell a different story, according to Judi.

“Both Harry and Meghan are using the softened facial expression known as ‘The look of love’ here’, with twinned smiles and loving eye expressions even though they’re not looking at one another,” she said.

“This is a good example of the subconscious mirroring that suggests a couple are like-minded and like-bodied.”

“Strong ties of love often lead to this mimicry because the each person wants to get closer, show empathy and create the strongest links to their partner.”

It was recently revealed by a palm reading expert why Prince Harry loves Meghan Markle.

Johnny Fincham, palm reading expert, said: “The partner would be chosen because of her looks, her strength of character and her ability to stand up for herself.”

“The cauliflower steak is a new classic,” exclaims the Bake Off star, 82, who se latest volume, Classic, includes a recipe for the fashionable veggie dish adding: “I think it’s delicious and inexpensive.”

Mary explains that there is so much more variety in the supermarket nowadays th an when she started her cooking career 50 years ago and that she enjoys experimenting.

“Butternut squash was unheard of back then and you couldn’t even find fennel. But we’re embracing all those and cooking them in different ways. And so they are in my book because they are popular.”

She admits, though, that there are some fads best forgotten about: “The vegetable spiralizer I had some fun with but it’s on the top shelf now.” Gathering dust, we expect.

Jack Whitehall’s Archers trouble managed to attract showrunners

JACK WHITEHALL might have the perfect present for next month’s Mother’s Day. When the 29-year-old actor and host of this Wednesday’s Brit awards was cast away on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs recently he recalled bouts of childhood car sickness accompanied by episodes of his mum Hilary’s favourite radio series The Archers.

Producers of the show pounced on the opportunity to contact him.

“Sorry for the childhood trauma. We’ll be in touch should any future scripts call for a nauseous celebrity to open the village fete,” said the show’s Twitter account. Jack quipped back: “My mum will have this tweet framed.”

If Jack does make a cameo appearance he’ll be in good company.

Stars including Dame Judi Dench, the Duchess of Cornwall and Sir Bradley Wiggins have all made a muddy trip to Ambridge over the years.

The It Must Be Love singer – who performed on the roof of Buckingham Palace as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012 – tells Day & Night: “When we played at the palace there was Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Sir Lenny Henry. It was really surreal. Maybe they could knight Madness?” suggests the 57-year-old, who is currently touring his new one-man theatre show A Life In The Realm Of Madness.

“We could get one giant suit with all our legs down two leg holes and go to the palace together,” jokes Suggs.

“We could be Sir Madness. It wouldn’t be too bad on your passport, Sir Suggs of Camden, but I’m not going to get all David Beckham and ask for it.”

That really would be One Step Beyond.

Referring to the Royal Family, she called them “courteous and polite”. 

“They’re always unbelievably courteous and polite to me. It’s a great honour to have met them.”

It has been announced on the Royal UK website that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, will attend the BAFTAs.

However, it is unknown whether Meghan and Harry will attend the ceremony also. 

What is known, however, is that Joanna Lumley – the first solo female BAFTAs host – will not be wearing black in solidarity with the Time’s Up movement.

She told OK! magazine: “I had to choose how I would look before any of this blew up.”

“I shall be wearing a plain charcoal grey dress that Betty Jackson made for me. I shall look like a head-mistress.”

Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, will be arriving in Cardiff on Thursday, where the Suits actress will greet locals and tour the Welsh city.

Meghan has recently visited Nottingham and Brixton where she received a warm reception from Britons.

However, a scheduling clash is said to have angered Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 35.

Mail Online reported that Harry and Meghan will visit Wales on the same day that William will carry out engagements elsewhere. 

Prince William was said by the news website to be visiting Evelina Children’s Hospital to support the launch of the Step into Health programme.

A source said: “Mark my words, William will be furious.

“He is carrying out these visits because he really believes in the projects.

“Inevitably, Meghan will attract all the media attention. William understands that, so he will be very frustrated that the engagements were arranged for the same day.”

The Mail Online reported that a Kensington Palace spokesman said: “They will regularly be attending events on the same days.”

However, according to their official diary, Prince William will visit the hospital in London on January 19, which is this Friday.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Coventry on January 16.

Kate Middleton is due to visit the Mittal Children’s Medical Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Bond Primary School on Thursday.

It is not unusual for royals to attend events on the same day.

Since it was revealed in October that One Tree Hill alumna Bethany Joy Lenz had been tapped for an arc on Grey’s Anatomy, viewers have been dying to know more about her character than just her name (Jenny). Now, TVLine can tell you that the mystery woman is, according to a source, the fiancée of Jo’s abusive husband, Paul (returning guest star Matthew Morrison).

As you’ll see in these new photos from the ABC drama’s midseason premiere (Thursday, 8/7c), “1-800-799-7233” picks up right where “Out of Nowhere” left off, with Jo face to face with her worst nightmare. But you’ll also see that, apparently in that same scene, Paul charms Arizona and ultimately is joined by Jo’s unfortunate successor, Lenz’s Jenny.
