1 | As Batwoman viewer Steven suggested, would Teen Beth have been wiser to use her moments of freedom to run out of the house, instead of stop to place a phone call?
2 | On The Affair, if Cole moved back to Montauk right after Joanie went to college, wouldn’t Noah and Joanie have crossed paths at some point? And even if they hadn’t, wouldn’t Joanie have known that Noah eventually took over the Lobster Roll? Also, which moment made you laugh the hardest: Noah as choreographer (“Ride the tractor, kick the puppy!”), Bruce following along to the flash mob, the realization that Margaret lived as long as Helen, or the price of fish and chips in the year 2053 ($ 67.95?!)?
3 | How far into this week’s Mr. Robot did you get before realizing that the whole episode didn’t have any dialogue? And why didn’t those cops call for backup while they were chasing Elliot halfway across Manhattan?
4 | If you were Watchmen‘s Angela, would you have had the presence of mind to drag the suicide bomber into the open grave and then shove Judd’s casket on top of him? Also, who all is sending transmissions to Dr. Manhattan on Mars, that there is a public booth to do so?
5 | On This Is Us, the moment Deja shared that fuzzy childhood memory of visiting Philadelphia and being transfixed by a beautiful building adorned with seasonally inappropriate Christmas decorations, you knew Malik was going to arrange for their impromptu field trip to conclude at that exact spot, right? Also, will Beth — whose wine consumption during this week’s tense dinner party scenes was mostly played for laughs — be the next Pearson family member headed to AA?
6 | We get why Arrow didn’t want to contact Felicity and mess with the future timeline at first, but if Mia and William are now staying in 2019, shouldn’t someone at least text Felicity? And Mia didn’t have time to leave the apartment before storming Deathstroke’s hideout, so were did she get the brand-new tactical outfit? Surely it wasn’t in Felicity’s closet… Does Dig see no reason to notify Connor’s birth parents? Or would that be too much for them to unpack? (“Wait, why did he need to be adopted??!”) Also, how did Dinah hear Connor address Deathstroke as “JJ” when that happened several moments before Team Arrow arrived from behind a steel door so heavy it needed to be blasted open?
7 | Who had the better fierce female faceoff this week: Watchmen‘s Regina and Agent Blake, or This Is Us‘ Beth and Kelly?
8 | On The Resident, why wasn’t Dr. Bell’s seatmate wearing his seatbelt during the flight’s takeoff? And why did that one guy take off his seatbelt and get up during the turbulence?!
9 | Why were so many Little Mermaid Live! viewers surprised that ABC’s production was also part animated feature? Did the 8 billion commercials not make that clear enough? That said, can we all agree that this Flounder puppet was the stuff of nightmares?
10 | How was there no audible reaction whatsoever from Greenleaf‘s congregation to Grace’s announcement that she was stepping down as pastor? And how did not a single churchgoer approach her when they filed out after services and saw her hanging around with her son?
11 | Given that The End of the F***ing World Season 2 waited to reveal James’ fate until the middle of Episode 2, couldn’t Netflix have, ‘ya know, not plastered on its homepage key art featuring — spoiler alert! — a very-much-alive James? Also, considering the nationwide search for James and Alyssa that occurred during Season 1, were you surprised that no one seemed to recognize them during this season’s brief road trip with Bonnie?
12 | Is Chicago Med hinting at a potential romance between Will and Elsa? Or are we reading too much into that party scene?
13 | Did Riverdale really wait four seasons to let us know that Veronica has a sister? Wouldn’t Hiram have at least mentioned her at some point?
14 | S.W.A.T.‘s Detective Lynch knows absolutely everyone — did you know that?! Or did you somehow miss it the first 37 times the show told us?
15 | Did this week’s SEAL Team death move you an unexpected amount, for a two-week guest star?
16 | But seriously: Why does The Masked Singer judge Robin Thicke have a monogrammed towel up there on the panel with him?
17 | Supernatural fans, was Benny the surprise guest star you were expecting? And do you wish he’d been more than a super brief cameo?
18 | So Grey’s Anatomy is just going to have Grey Sloan doctors scrub in at Pac-North with the snap of a finger, huh? Also, are we supposed to believe that, in the years since Maggie met Richard, she never, ever bothered to ask, “So… do I have any other family out there?” Or, for that matter, that the obsessive researcher wouldn’t have investigated her family tree before approaching her father and Meredith?
19 | We know that How to Get Away With Murder‘s Karla Souza isn’t a series regular this season — but isn’t it weird that the characters are barely mentioning Laurel and Christopher’s absences? They’re both still MIA!
20 | After Young Sheldon in Season 2 revealed that Veronica came from an abusive home, were you relieved to see that Georgie’s crush now resides with her chatty-but-harmless grandmother as of Thursday’s episode?
21 | So, The Morning Show‘s namesake AM newscast is a massive revenue-generating juggernaut yet… they can only afford to have one makeup artist on the payroll? Plus, where are all the PR reps for the newscast and the network? Also, does the show really expect us to believe that Bradley would have waited to introduce herself to Mitch Kessler’s accuser until seconds before their live sit-down interview? Finally, how was Alex’s husband last out of the limo when he was sitting closest to the door?

Will Arrow fans get one last Felicity fix before the series bows out next fall? That was one of the hot topics broached during an early-morning pre-upfront press conference with CW President Mark Pedowitz, who told reporters that the door has been left slightly ajar for Emily Bett Rickards to return.
“Emily was terrific on the show and we believe [showrunner] Beth Schwartz did a great job wrapping up Felicity’s storyline [in this week’s Season 7 finale],” said Pedowitz. “If Beth can find a way to bring her back that makes sense, and Emily is available, we’d love to have her. Otherwise, I’m pleased by how they said goodbye to the character.”
Rickards announced in March, in a most unexpected Instagram post, that she would not be back for Arrow‘s eighth and final season, which will consist of 10 episodes. She made her possibly-final appearance in Tuesday’s Season 7 finale.
Rickards’ originally came on board as a guest star in Episode 3. Felicity was introduced as an IT technician at Queen Consolidated before the character became a full-fledged member of Oliver’s vigilante team. She was promoted to series regular midway through Season 1.
The CW announced Thursday that Arrow will moves to Tuesdays at 9/8c for its final season, reuniting with The Flash.

In the present timeline, a wounded Emiko has a change of heart and gives Oliver a warning: hide Felicity and the baby, or they will die. Following that — and the team’s successful plan to save Star City — Oliver and Felicity announce that they’re taking a step back and leaving town. Of course, they can’t tell their friends about the baby part of the plan. “When that threat is over…” Felicity reassures Oliver. “Until then, it’s the best thing for them and us.”
As the two shut off the lights in the bunker, Felicity says, “Goodbye, old friend.” Then Dig takes the couple to their new home in Bloomfield, a neighborhood full of ex-DIA and A.R.G.U.S. agents, so they’ll be nice and safe. “This isn’t a tropical paradise, but we never did take our honeymoon,” Oliver notes as a montage begins of the couple sitting on the porch, enjoying quality time with their daughter and more “Aww”-inducing moments.
But just as Oliver and Felicity are talking about asking for shared custody of William, The Monitor — you know, the guy behind the “Elseworlds” crossover — shows up to collect on the deal Oliver made to save Kara and Barry. “So what bargain did I make? What does the multiverse require?” Oliver asks, to which The Monitor replies, “You assist me as we seek to prevent the inevitable.” The Monitor has also seen the archer’s death during the Crisis, and he can’t stop it, but Oliver can save countless lives and the entire universe if he goes with The Monitor.
Oliver and Felicity say a teary goodbye, with Oliver asking Felicity to keep their kids safe, and Felicity pledging that she will find him again. “We are the best parts of each other, and that is so much bigger than the freaking universe,” she declares, after which Oliver echoes the words she said to him in Nanda Parbat, about opening up her heart in ways she didn’t think were possible.
Meanwhile, after also saving the city in the future, Felicity meets with William and Mia at Oliver’s headstone (Year of Death, for what it’s worth: 2019) to say goodbye one last time. Her kids no longer need her protection, she notes. So she makes them promise to take care of each other and explains that it’s time for her to go on her own journey. Felicity then meets up with The Monitor, who warns her that there is no returning from where they’re going. “I have waited a very long time to see him. I’m ready,” she says before they walk into a blue portal.
The episode’s other big events and takeaways:
* After Oliver protects her when the fed-up Ninth Circle attacks them both, Emiko changes her tune and apologizes to her brother (and gives him that all-important head’s up). The family reconciliation ends with Emiko dying just before all of Palmer Tech explodes.
* In the future, the team successfully thwarts Galaxy One’s plan to exterminate a big chunk of the city, and Mia and William manage to blow up the wall. As a result, the city will need heroes more than ever — and it has them in Mia, William, Connor and Zoe. (On a possibly related note, The Monitor says the world needs Mia.) As for Felicity, Roy and Dinah, they’re fugitives and need to go into hiding again.
* OTA gets two lovely scenes: In the first, Dig tells Oliver that his cycle is not one of violence, but of heroes fighting to save the city. Later at their new home, Felicity and Oliver assure Dig that he is also a part of their family.
* We get our first hint of how Connor will eventually end up with the Diggles as Bronze Tiger joins the team. When Emiko threatens the city with the biological weapon, Dig assures Bronze Tiger that they will get Connor to a safe A.R.G.U.S. site along with the rest of the kids. Dig also suggests a possible job at A.R.G.U.S. for the baddie-turned-hero, who says he just wants to spend time with his son.
* Roy on how he got on the island: “It’s a long story.” But I need to know now! Until then, he’s going to search for a way to atone for killing.
* Curtis returns to help out, and announces that he’s going to propose to Nick.

Arrow‘s Felicity debuts a colorful new ‘do in the latest photos for Season 7 of the CW drama.
In the first sprinkle of photos from the season premiere (airing Monday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c), Felicity (played by Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) take turns visiting Oliver (Stephen Amell) at Slabside supermax prison.
Oliver’s wife looks a bit worse for the wear, though, and we’re not just talking about her cotton candy mane. No, it looks like life on the outside, as the unmasked Green Arrow’s No. 1 gal, comes with its perils.
Surveying the couple’s situation, showrunner Beth Schwartz told TVLine, “What I found most interesting about what they’re going through this season is that having your husband in prison is really challenging on its own. But the fact that your husband is the Green Arrow, and everyone knows your husband is the Green Arrow, is a second challenge that couple will have.”
Check out all Arrow Season 7 photos.

The Flash‘s Iris and friends hang out “in a way you haven’t seen before” as seen in these first photos from the upcoming “Girls’ Night Out” episode (airing Tuesday, Nov. 7 on The CW).
With the “WestAllen” wedding nearing (and scheduled to take place during the four-show Arrowverse crossover), Arrow‘s Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) comes to Central City for Iris’ bachelorette party, while Cisco, Joe and others take Barry out for a night on the town.
Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin, previously told TVLine that the GNO marks “one of my favorite episodes of this season so far.” Describing it as “awesome,” she said it delivers overdue, “great bonding time with all of the women on the show. You’ll see them really together in a way you haven’t seen before.”
There may be a party crasher though in Caitlin’s former and thus displeased bar boss Amunet (Battlestar Galactica‘s Katee Sackhoff), who threatens to reveal that Killer Frost is still among us.
“I get to work with Katee Sackhoff and I think she’s an incredible addition to the show,” Panabaker shared. “I’m really excited about that.”

Arrow lovebirds Oliver and Felicity have been taking their relationship one (slow) step at a time this season, but they’ll soon be progressing to the gifting and smooching stage.
In these new photos from the Oct. 26 episode (The CW, 9/8c), Oliver stops by Felicity’s loft with a gift in hand. Whatever it is, she really seems to like it, judging by the passionate lip-lock the two share after opening the present.
Also seen in the first-look pics: Chastity Dotson (Imposters) guest-stars as the DC Comics character Onyx, whose rogue black-ops team breaks into Kord Industries and steals something lethal; FBI agent Watson (GLOW‘s Sydelle Noel) is still after Oliver; and Dinah levels her intense stare at Rene, not Dig, for a change.

Felicity Jones will take her battles from the cosmos to the courtroom in a biopic about Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The Rogue One: A Star Wars story actress is set to don the robes of the notorious feminist icon in the biographical film On the Basis of Sex, taking over the role from Natalie Portman, who was originally set to play Ginsburg.
Jones is in talks to star in On the Basis of Sex, the biopic following Ginsburg as she fights for equal rights through her entire law career from Harvard University, to Columbia Law School, and finally, the Supreme Court. According to The Hollywood Reporter, which confirmed the news first reported by Deadline, Jones is stepping into the role after Natalie Portman, who was attached to the project since 2015, bowed out.
Though Portman isn’t playing the starring role anymore, she still had a big influence on the film, insisting on bringing on a female director to helm the film about Ginsburg’s struggle against gender discrimination as she becomes a leading feminist voice. In February, Portman tapped director Mimi Leder, known for her work on HBO’s The Leftovers and Showtime’s Shameless.
Leder is set to direct Jones in the film written by Daniel Stiepleman. Robert W. Cort is producing On the Basis of Sex, along with Participant Media. Focus Features will distribute the movie.
Ginsberg became the second female justice after Sandra Day O’Connor when she was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1993 by then-President Bill Clinton. Before and after she held a seat at the Supreme Court, she has become known as a powerful advocate for women’s rights — and recently, has become an idol for young feminists, who dub her “The Notorious RGB.”
The script for On the Basis of Sex originally landed on the 2014 Black List, which is what caught Portman’s attention. A Jewish actress, she was presumably drawn to the movie about the first Jewish female justice. While she’s no longer starring, Portman is a powerful voice in Hollywood, recently stepping into the director’s chair for the first time for A Tale of Love and Darkness, and — as we saw in this case — becoming more vocal about hiring women behind the scenes. I hope that Portman can step into a producer role for this film.
As for Felicity Jones, she is more than up to the task of donning Ginsburg’s notorious robes and lace gloves. An Oscar-nominated actress for The Theory of Everything and a certified badass who can headline a blockbuster with Rogue One, Jones is one of the most promising rising stars out there right now.

Cupid’s arrow appears to ultimately have sailed wide for Oliver and Susan, as seen in these photos from Wednesday’s episode of The CW’s Arrow.
As Oliver confessed in this week’s episode, he kinda likes being kill-y, and used his father’s “list” as an excuse to sate that desire. He then showed up at the lair to hang up his bow and get out of the crimefighting biz for good.
Will his never-easy relationship with Susan be the next casualty? Having been kidnapped by Oliver’s adversary Prometheus aka Adrian Chase, “I don’t know how you overcome that,” says co-showrunner Wendy Mericle. “I mean, Susan’s still there. She’s on the show. And we love Carly [Pope]. But for any couple that’s been through that kind of trauma – and trauma that, ultimately, Susan can trace back to Oliver in some ways – let’s just say that’s a tough thing to come back from.”
Also seen in the photo gallery, above right: Felicity continued on her “lowercase-D” (as EP Marc Guggenheim puts it) dark path with Alena and the Helix uberhacker collective.

Emma Stone looked every inch the Hollywood star tonight. The flame-haired beauty complemented her fair complexion with a simple column dress with gold accents and a 1920s-style fringed skirt.
Simple but striking make-up with a deep red lip and a cat eye highlighted the actress’s natural beauty. Classic 1940s waves finished the look.
Felicity Jones was striking in a blush chiffon dress. The ballet-inspired number featured dainty straps and a full skirt with subtle silver leaf designs among the fabric.
Felicity channeled Audrey Hepburn glamour with classic hair and natural make-up accentuated by a slick of eyeliner.
Naomi Harris pulled off a quirky white gown as one of the only attendees to wear a short dress. The fashion-forward outfit featured a bralet, a mid length skirt and a train.
The British actress paired the look with yellow sandals with jewelled straps.
Emma Roberts amped up the glamour with newly dyed red hair, matched with a deep crimson lip.
The stunning actress wore a dress with a white skirt and black waistband, with embellished cups and dainty straps.
Nicole Kidman shone in a beautiful patterned gown that was no doubt a nod to India, and her role in nominated movie Lion.
The simple column dress featured a embellished sun-inspired design.
Taraji P Henson and Brie Larson upped the oomph, both channeling serious sex appeal in velvet numbers that bared some cleavage.
In a floral pastel gown with a high neck, Hailee Steinfeld looked stunning.
Nominated actress Ruth Negga wore a beautiful high-necked red gown with long sleeves, which she complemented with a deep red lip, red eye make-up and a red hair accessory.
Ginnifer Goodwin went for a very similar style, with some subtle sheer panels and polkadots.
She added some glamour with black eyeliner and her sleek, dark, cropped hair.
The worst dressed of the evening were headed up by Fifty Shades of Grey’s Dakota Johnson and Scarlett Johansson.
Express.co.uk also rounded up the worst Oscar’s dresses of all time.
You would think that be engulfed by a tidal wave as entire planet blows up around you is pretty tough to come back from.
Felcity Jones has just given fans hope, however, that they haven’t seen the last of her Rebel hero.
Jyn Erso will never be forgotten, but it also seems that she might not be completely gone, either.
The British actress revealed all during a new interview.
Nicholas and Felicity soon start riffing on other possible future enterprises to capitalise on the worldwide brand strength of Jyn right now.
After all, Nicholas even admits that he has a LEGO version of K-2SO.
He suggests: “You could start your own wine… or Gin by Jyn?”
When Felicity adds: “Jyn Gymwear,” Nicholas assures her: “You’ll make a fortune.”
But it seems she likes the alcoholic idea better and says: “And her own Jyn Gin and Tonic.”
We’ll drink to that.
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is out in UK cinemas on December 15.
