Since his arrest and suspension earlier this series, question marks have remained over his spot in the team.

It would certainly be a massive coincidence if three distinct plans to take down the Duttons all kicked off at once, though it’s not outside the realm of possibility considering how many enemies the ranch has made over the years.

A new trailer for the final six episodes of The Walking Dead season ten may have opened up a huge plot hole in the series.

The additional episodes for the delayed tenth season will act as the penultimate chapter for the flagship series before season eleven puts an end to the apocalyptic epic.

Newcomer Hilarie Burton is set to play Lucille, the dead wife of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s somewhat reformed Negan, who became one of the series’ most popular villains at the end of season six.

Although Lucille was said by Negan to have died shortly after the deadly outbreak, she lives on in the series as the namesake for the Savior leader’s bludgeoning baseball bat.

When the new footage was released recently on Twitter, one fan took issue with a scene which showcased Lucille’s role in the early stages of the zombie apocalypse.

They wrote: “Note that Negan says that Lucille died of cancer before the pandemic, yet we see her kill a prowler.”

Die-hard fans of the popular series may take issue with the claim, as Negan initially said his wife died of pancreatic cancer in the early days of the zombie takeover.

The revelation took place between Negan and Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) when they were trapped in a trailer in the episode ‘The Big Scary U’ following an attack on the Sanctuary.

However, a later conversation which took place in season ten between Negan and the Whisperer leader Alpha (Samantha Morton) may have caught the former Saviour in a lie.

One fan recalled on Reddit: “What I am puzzled about though is that in 08×05 he tells Gabriel that Lucille died “during this” (the outbreak), but in 10×12 he tells Alpha that he lost her before walkers showed up.

“And now in the 10C trailer they clearly show Lucille alive and killing walkers. Got some continuity issues there.”

In the trailer, Lucille is sporting a wig and appears frail and tired, indicating she is currently undergoing treatment for her cancer.

Sadly, the sight of her taking out an approaching walker with a pistol flies in the face of what had already been set up in the series, depending on which episode you’re referring too, of course.

With a number of Walking Dead spin-offs already on the horizon to extend the series after the final season, the sprawling narrative is only going to get more complicated.

Even so, it’s disappointing to see the long-running zombie franchise failing to keep hold of the narrative at such a pivotal moment in the series.

The Walking Dead season 10 returns Sunday, February 28 on AMC.

Eight celebrities remain in the race to keep their identity hidden on The Masked Singer. Badger, Robin, Sausage, Blob, Bush Baby, Harlequin, Viking and Dragon performed for judges Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan. Those watching at home hoped the extra clues will help them identify who is behind the costumes. But there is one act viewers are still incredibly confused about: Dragon. 

Dragon has proved themselves to be one of the trickier contestants on this year’s edition of The Masked Singer on ITV. 

The clues they have been giving out have left fans and judges mostly in disagreement up until this point. 

Some of the names that have cropped up so far are those of Susan Calman and Michelle Visage. 

However it seems that Dragon has been unmasked on Instagram as Courtney Act.

The Drag Race star was tagged on Instagram in a post by the manufacturer of the fabric for the Dragon costume, revealing that it’s her hiding under the mask. 

The account for Funki Fabrics posted a picture of the Masked Singer character on their profile, saying how the costume uses their textured mermaid scale fabric, and in it they tagged Courtney’s account. 

Some fans seem to believe that this was no accident, and the manufacturers have insight on who is performing under the costume they helped make. 

Performing the song live on stage with fellow Drag Race pal Adore Delano, the drag performer – real name Shane Jenek – sounded identical to Dragon’s debut, said many fans. 

Courtney is known for her singing talents, famously appearing on the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. 

The rainbow belly on the Dragon costume could also be a nod to the LGBTQ+ community and therefore be a further clue leading to Courtney. 

Many fans though would disagree, placing their bets for Dragon on other celebrities. 

Michelle recently appeared on Lorraine and teased fans about it being her masquerading behind the Dragon. “Wait and see” she told fans.

Susan was also forced to address the rumours that she might be hiding under the mask while on Lorraine. 

“This is the most flattering rumour I think that’s ever been spread,” she said. 

“I’m not,” she denied. “But my goodness thank you for thinking I was.”

The Masked Singer continues on ITV on Saturday at 7pm.

The seventh episode of NCIS: LA season 12 is finally arriving on CBS tonight following the show’s three-week break for the Christmas period. Titled Overdue, the episode sees the team investigate a fresh new murder case as well as focussing on Marty Deeks (played by Eric Christian Olsen) and his attempts to rejoin the team following his departure from the LAPD as a liaison officer. In order to do so, however, he’ll have to impress DCSA Agent Rosa Martinez (Presciliana Esparolini).

And it looks like Agent Martinez isn’t going to give Deeks and easy ride of things – despite his extensive experience working with the team.

After all, NCIS: LA fans witnessed Hetty (Linda Hunt) have to pull a number of strings just to set Deeks up with an interview because of his age.

So with the odds already stacked against him, he’s understandably anxious and a first-look promo from the episode shows all may not go according to plan.

Esparolini’s character is shown in the trailer warning Deeks she has plenty of experience when it comes to putting candidates through their paces.

“Detective Deeks,” she begins. “I’ve been through a lot of these interviews. I can’t tell you how this is going to pan out.”

And her lukewarm reception doesn’t appear to alter when fans get a peek into the interview itself.

Agent Martinez tells Deeks: “Your LAPD files don’t make you out to be a team player.”

“And there it is,” a dejected Deeks replies to Agent Martinez, with his future chances of joining the squad looking thinner than ever.

Well, fans of the flagship NCIS series can cast their minds back to season 12.

In episode 15, titled Cabin Fever, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is supporting pal Fornell (Joe Spano) as he grieves over the death of his ex-wife.

While the team try to track down the Russian terrorist responsible for her death, Gibbs and Fornell spend some alone time together away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

But elsewhere in the episode, Esparolini pops up as a Deputy serving in law enforcement.

It was only a fleeting appearance but diehard NCIS fans will have no problem placing Esparolini’s first footsteps into the show’s universe.

Away from the NCIS franchise, Esparolini has also enjoyed stints on some of the USA’s biggest TV shows.

Esparolini has starred in ABC police drama The Rookie, Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and Amazon Prime Video’s Goliath.

ITV viewers were delighted to see The Masked Singer return for a second series last night as they were ready and waiting to put their detective hats back on once more. With clues soon given to viewers surrounding the identity of the performers, fans soon took to social media to share their guesses. Swan was one of the most intriguing prospects amongst the new cohort, with some, including Jonathan Ross, left convinced Meghan Markle could be behind the mask – here’s why. 

The competition quickly got into full swing with a host of impressive performances from the new batch of stars. 

Last night, half of the contestants took to the stage for the first time in three separate battles before one of the bottom three was eliminated.

It was Alien who became the first to wave goodbye to the show last night before being unveiled as pop legend Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Many fans had correctly guessed the singer after spotting her distinctive vocals, which weren’t completely covered – despite her best efforts.

Another person who fans quickly got onboard try to guess the identity of was Swan, who teased royal links early on.

Swan performed a dazzling rendition of ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ by Shania Twain.

Although she ended up in the bottom three, she was saved by the panel and put through to another week of the competition.

Of course, it didn’t take long for fans to start speculating who might be hiding underneath the costume.

“America. Independence. Royal. The BLACK SWAN. It’s Meghan Markle, calling it now #TheMaskedSingerUK #TheMaskedSinger,” wrote a fourth.

“Why was my first guess for the swan Meghan Markle- American, loyal and royal lmaooo #MaskedSinger,” said another.

And they weren’t the only ones, as panellist Jonathan Ross also placed his bets on it being the well-known member of the Royal Family.

Other names swirling around included former Strictly Come Dancing judge and ballet legend Darcey Bussell as well as Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts.

Many fans believed the dance floor connection hinted they had been involved in the hit BBC contest. 

Other clues included having “the freedom to spread their wings” as well as being loyal, strong and independent. 

Drag Race judge Michelle Visage and another Pussycat Dolls face, Kimberley Wyatt, were also speculated by fans. 

But who will be the person unveiled as Swan in the weeks to come? 

The Masked Singer airs Saturdays on ITV.

Showrunner Maril Davis jumped in first, explaining: “We did purposefully leave it ambiguous, we did not want to answer that question.

“We felt the audience could make up its mind. I will say for my personal perspective, and this is not talking for the writers, for me it felt like a little bit of both.

“It wasn’t really so much revenge. In my mind I don’t think Brianna’s character is a revengeful sort really. She wouldn’t want to see anyone suffer. She knew Bonnet’s worst fear was drowning and honestly that’s a horrible way to go.

And even if she knew she was going to be, surely the time it’d take for her to pick her outfit and Sheldon to drive would have been ample enough for an ambulance to arrive?

Penny’s also well aware Sheldon’s driving skills leave a lot to be desired.

A stickler for the rules, Sheldon adheres to all of the necessary precautions that come with driving a car, from checking his mirrors to abiding by the speed limits.

If Penny was in such pain, why would she think getting dressed with Sheldon and having him drive would be quicker than calling 911?
