It’s been over 30 years since the original team starred in Ghostbusters II. Since then there’s been animated series, video games, a 2016 female-led reboot and Egon star Harold Ramis sadly died. But now original director Ivan Reitman’s son Jason is gearing up to helm a direct sequel to Ghostbusters II, one that will hopefully see the return of the surviving original cast who cameoed in the 2016 film. And now Production Weekly has unveiled that filming will take place in late Spring or Summer of this year. Ghostbusters 3’s casting and plot have also been teased in the project notes. According to Pursue News, it reads: “The main characters will be 4 teens: 2 boys, 2 girls. “A family moves back home to a small town where they learn more about who they are.” The outlet speculates these teenagers could be the children of the original Ghostbusters team. Meanwhile, Aykroyd and Hudson shared the first teaser trailer for the film, on Twitter. Aykroyd wrote: “If you need a tune-up, you know who to call.” While Hudson added: “Bigger than a 100-ft marshmallow man!” It certainly looks like these two, and hopefully, Murray will reprise their roles as teased by Aykroyd in November. Speaking on AXS TV’s The Big Interview, he said: “There is a possibility of a reunion with the three remaining Ghostbusters. “It’s being written right now… I think Billy will come. “The story’s so good. Even if he plays a ghost.” Ghostbusters 3 is set for release in Summer 2020. Why, Sesame Street? Why? After longtime staffer Mark Saltzman told Queerty that he’d always written Bert and Ernie as gay, the venerable educational show for kids didn’t respond, “Of course they’re a couple — who else would quarrel like that?” or even, “Viewers can ascribe to the roomies whatever qualities they feel best fit them.” Instead, it pointed out in a statement that the beloved characters “are identified as male… and possess many human traits,” then discounted them as puppets who, as such, “do not have a sexual orientation.” (Which must have come as quite a shock to Kermit the Frog.) Frank Oz, who voices Bert, went so far as to ask, “Does it really matter?” Here’s the thing, Frank: Yes, it matters. Especially in 2018, it matters a whole helluva lot. Sesame Street, known for its inclusiveness, had a chance to say, “Yep, Bert and Ernie are gay. So what?” It had a chance to say that gay people, like people of different races, people who use wheelchairs, people with Down syndrome, people who are HIV-positive, are just people. We’re not freaks, we’re your bickering neighbors. Different, maybe, but wrong? Nah. Here’s the other thing, Frank: Per The Trevor Project, “LGB youth seriously contemplate suicide at almost three times the rate of heterosexual youth.” What do you think it would do for those kids if the TV show that they — and, perhaps more importantly, their friends and classmates — grew up watching sent the message that being gay is like being left-handed or being blonde? What would it do for those kids, Frank, if that ceased to be a reason for them to feel “other,” if that ceased to be a reason that their peers could make them feel so other that they considered killing themselves? That was the teaching opportunity that Saltzman’s interview, perhaps inadvertently, handed Sesame Street, and the show blew it. Badly. What do you think? Shouldn’t the chance to embrace diversity, as Sesame Street has done so many times in the past, have been seized? Woods hit a four under first round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational after finishing joint second in last week’s Valspar Championship. That included a 71-footputt which had fans believing Tiger Woods is back to his best. The American has won 14 majors in his career, though the last of these came at the 2008 US Open. After that first round in Florida though, some bookies had Woods favourite for the upcoming Masters. But long-time rival Els is just happy to see Woods back competing on a golf course. “I’m just glad he’s playing like I know he can play,” Els said. “Basically, to validate me. Validate me… and Phil (Mickelson) and Vijay (Singh). “Because we weren’t bad players and this guy was a special player. “And to see him back playing special stuff again, and I hope he can really turn it on. “It would be great for the game, and he could still have a run at Jack’s record. “He’s got his body back, he’s got his talent back, like back in the day, and he’s doing what he’s doing. “You know, talent don’t leave people. Talent and grit and determination, that comes from inside.” Woods’ 14 major victories leaves him four behind Jack Nicklaus’s record of 18. Woods is now 42 but the Masters is his joint-most successful major. He has four green jackets from Augusta, while also lifting the PGA Championship on four occasions. Woods has won the Open and US Open three times each. Spieth, 23, who won on the PGA Tour as a teenager, was always going to be a significant part of the golf landscape but Birkdale might have shifted the parameters. In confirming him as a serial winner from the most unpromising of positions with the championship slipping through his fingers, it could yet end up being the significant fork in the road in Spieth’s career. “Who knows where he’s going to end? He could go really big. He can go up to the 14 mark in Majors,” said Ernie Els, referring to Woods’ total, the most by any player since Jack Nicklaus. “When you get on a roll like that guys start knowing that you know how to win and, almost like Tiger, people can maybe feel like they can’t do it against Jordan because he’s been up there a few times now. “You’ve seen some careers where – like myself in ‘95, I had a three-shot lead in the US PGA and couldn’t get it done, and in ‘96 missed out in another very narrow loss at the Open – it kind of stalled. I only got four. But if you get the momentum going the other way, you can go win a boatload.” Back up to No2 in the world, Spieth now sets his sights on next month’s USPGA Championship and joining Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen as the only players in history to land a career Grand Slam. Nicklaus, who holds the record of 18 Major wins, paid tribute to Spieth’s fighting qualities as he overcame the calamity of squandering a three-shot lead and a mid-round visit to the practice ground to win his first Claret Jug. “I was just very happy for him and very impressed to watch all that guts, determination and skill,” said Nicklaus. “If you look at his victory total, this win and the way he won, Jordan has shown an amazing display of maturity for someone so young.” Woods posted on Twitter: “What an incredible way to come back and win. Many congrats @JordanSpieth”. Spieth’s gift – like Woods – is being able to sink vital putts when they really matter. He only hit five fairways in his final round at Birkdale but still shot a 69 to break par. “The putter is the master and he’s maybe the best putter that I’ve ever seen,” said Player. Spieth has now converted nine of his past 10 54-hole leads – the one stain on that record coming at the 2016 Masters when he lost out to Danny Willett for the Green Jacket. Willett revealed he always believed American golf’s blue-eyed boy would prevail this time. “Mentally, for any age, he is one of the best around. His stats from leading are pretty phenomenal and he’s now won three times this year. He’s never that far away,” said Willett. “He is similar to Tiger because you kind of know he is not going to go back. He may have a few iffy ones but he is also going to hole a few crucial ones at the right time. That’s why everyone was so surprised in April last year when he did not polish that one off. “He didn’t play horrendously. He went out there and shot one over on Sunday and I went five under. It was one of those things. It was my time to win. He was always going to come back fine.” Spieth can safely regard Augusta as an anomaly. The final five-hole stretch at Birkdale that he played in five under was the lowest at a Major for 20 years. “I thought before the round that I had a reputation as being able to close but I was hesitant in saying ‘Majors’ to myself,” said Spieth. “It was the best opportunity that I’d had since the 2016 Masters and if it hadn’t gone my way then all I would have been questioned about – and thought about and murmured about – is that, which would have added a lot of pressure. “During the round I definitely thought any kind of fear or advantage I had over other individuals, not just Matt Kuchar but other people that are watching, was being taken away by the way that I was playing. “That kind of stuff goes into your head. We walk for three minutes in between shots and you can’t just go blank. You wish you could, but thoughts creep in. “Closing this was extremely important for the way I look at myself.”

Tory chancellor Harold Macmillan unveiled the idea of Premium Bonds in his Budget in April 1956
As Ernie – it stands for Electronic Random Numbers Indicator Equipment – celebrates the diamond anniversary of its first winners on Thursday (June 1) two people will be getting a knock on the door from Agent Million to tell them the good news they have scooped a seven-figure sum in return for their £1 stake.
Today Premium Bonds have been somewhat overshadowed by the massive prizes given away in lotteries But for 40 per cent of the population, they are still a favourite way of investing. The two winners announced on Thursday will bring the total of Premium Bonds millionaires to 364.
SUPERMAC SAYS HE’S SAVING THE NATION
Tory chancellor Harold Macmillan unveiled the idea of Premium Bonds in his Budget in April 1956 with the catchphrase “Saving with a thrill.”
He said the aim of the scheme was to control inflation and encourage saving in the post-war era. Labour’s shadow chancellor Harold Wilson called the scheme “a squalid raffle” and a “national de-moralisation” while the Church feared Britain would become a nation of gamblers and warned people against buying them.
But they did, in their millions. At a ceremony in Trafalgar Square the following November the first £1 bond was bought by the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Sir Cuthbert Ackroyd. The second was bought by W Crook, the Mayor of Lytham St Annes in Lancashire, where Premium Bonds operations were then based – and by the end of the day £5million worth had been sold.
ROLL UP, ROLL UP FOR A TOP PRIZE OF £1,000
In those days bonds had to be held for six months before they were entered into the draw so it was not until June 1, 1957 that the first winner was chosen by Ernie.

Ernie (Electronic Random Numbers Indicator Equipment) is 60 this week
The prize fund was a staggering £82million – equivalent to £1,862,655,000 today – and there were 23,000 prizes with a top prize of £1,000. That would be worth £22,700 today. Once you have bought a bond it stays in the draw unless you cash it in so the 41,000 bonds sold in November 1956 are still eligible to win today.
You could always change your name to Hannah, the luckiest name for winners
The biggest prize today is £1million and there are two jackpot winners each month. The maximum you could invest 60 years ago was £500 but now it’s £50,000, while the minimum investment was £1 but today is £100.
ERNIE DOWN THE GENERATIONS
The original Ernie machine was invented by Tom Flowers, a former code breaker at Bletchley Park.
The device ensures every number has a separate and equal chance of winning. Since 1957 there have been four generations of Ernie with each becoming faster and smaller.
AN OLD ‘UN CAN STILL BE A GOLD ‘UN
Several myths surround Premium Bonds. One is that Ernie is biased towards people in the South-east. But that is because more bonds are bought there. Another myth is that bonds with old numbers are left out. This is not true.
Because more than 80 per cent of bonds have been bought since 2000, newer numbers have a greater chance of being chosen. The third myth is buy your bonds on a Wednesday, which is said to be the luckiest day.
ALBERT GOES TO TOWN WITH HIS WINNINGS
In a 1964 episode of Steptoe And Son called The Bonds That Bind Us, Albert asks Harold to help him check his Premium Bond numbers. Harold scoffs at Albert’s hopes of winning but this rapidly turns to excitement as they discover he has won £1,000.
Imagine Harold’s dismay when his father reminds him that the winnings all belong to him – because Harold had sold his share of the bonds to Albert so he could join a posh tennis club. Albert heads up to the West End for a spending spree that includes a new suit, a facial and a new set of false teeth, and arrives home with a gold-digging blonde (played by June Whitfield) on his arm.
ODDS GET LONGER
The odds of winning a prize in the monthly draw used to be 26,000 to
one. But in June last year, as National Savings and Investments cut interest rates, the odds were lengthened to 30,000 to one.
HOW TO BE LUCKY
If you can, buy bonds within the City of London, the luckiest place for winning high-value prizes. Wales has had the fewest winners simply because fewer bonds are bought there. You could always change your name to Hannah, the luckiest name for winners.
GETTY

Sean is the second luckiest name. BOND’S BEAUTIES An annual Miss Premium Bond competition was run by the NS & I during the Civil Service Sports and Social Club Day held at Lytham St Annes. Contestants would walk down the catwalk, smile at the judges then answer questions about their work.
NO ONE WANTS IT
There are a whopping 1.3 million unclaimed prizes worth £53.9million with winners dating back more than 50 years.

THE MAN WHO HAD 124 WINS ALL AT ONCE
PENSIONER Gerald Sargent relied on his pensions to get by because in 10 years of owning Premium Bonds he had never won a penny. Eventually Gerald, 80, from Swadlincote, Derbyshire, got fed up and rang the bonds office to ask if his numbers were lost in the system.
An investigation revealed he had actually clocked up 124 wins in the previous decade and he celebrated with a Christmas windfall of £5,325 plus a 125th payout of £2,094 to compensate him for the interest he had lost out on.

“They initially found I had won 10 times this year but I hadn’t received any winnings,” said Gerald. “Two hours later I got a call from the manager saying I had won more than 120 times. When I took the cheques to the bank they couldn’t believe it.”
GIRL WHO THOIUGHT £5,000 WIN WAS A HOAX
A-LEVEL student Catherine Lambert thought it was a hoax when she got a letter saying she had won a £5,000 Premium Bond prize. So the 17-year-old from Seaford, East Sussex, put it aside as junk mail. She thought no more about it until suddenly the cheque arrived in the post.
Catherine’s parents had bought her £500 of bonds when she was small and she won the occasional £50 prize. “I’ve always been quite lucky,” she said. “But £5,000 was a very pleasant and welcome surprise because as a family we really needed it.
“I spent some of the money on a laptop, put some into long-term savings and gave the rest to the family.”
Since her windfall, Catherine has won two further bond prizes worth £150 and £200.
