Manchester United striker Rashford enjoyed a fine international break, scoring in matches against Spain and Switzerland.

He was, however, encouraged to leave Old Trafford in the wake of his Wembley heroics with many blasting Mourinho for failing to give him enough game time.

But Mourinho has now hit back at his Manchester United critics in a bizarre rant, where he channelled his inner Louis van Gaal by reeling off statistics to journalists in the room.

“Speaking about Marcus, I think I can expect that Sunday I’m going to be highly criticised for not playing him tomorrow, because some of the boys are really obsessed with me and some of them have a problem with some compulsive lies,” said Mourinho.

“So I can expect that Sunday some of them will wake up in the morning and the first thing they think of is Jose Mourinho, so I can imagine on Sunday I am going to be criticised for not playing Marcus but it’s not my fault, he’s suspended, so probably you should remind them he is suspended and cannot play.

“So I’m going to do something, not for you, but the United fans, and I think I hold myself to the United fans and so for them I am going to spend two mins with you.

“In 2016-17, Marcus Rashford played 32 Premier League matches, 11 Europa League matches, including the final, three FA Cup matches, six League Cup matches, including the final, and the Community Shield.

“He had 53 appearances, but if you want to take to the minutes of play, he played 3,068, and if you wan to divide that by 90-minute matches, he played 34.2 matches of 90-minute matches in 2016-17.

“In 2017-18, he played 35 Premier League matches, eight in the Champions League, five in the FA Cup, three League Cup matches and the European Super Cup final.

“He played a total of 52 matches with 2,676 mins, and if you divide that by 90, it gives you 29.7 matches, so with me, in two seasons, he had 105 appearances, 5,774 mins, 63.7 matches of 90 minutes, including five finals, so the people speaking about these minutes, I think they are a bit confused.

“Marcus is not Dominic Solanke, not Ruben Loftus-Cheek, not Dominic Calvert-Lewin, he’s Marcus Rashford, a Manchester United player, with an incredible number of appearances and an incredible number of minutes played at the highest level in the best possible competitions.

“So Manchester United supporters, for you and just for you, to know what we are doing with Marcus, Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard, Scott McTominay, that’s what we are doing here.”

Mourinho’s weird rant came after Jamie Carragher urged Rashford to swap United for Everton.

“Romelu Lukaku is in front of Rashford and I don’t see Rashford displacing him as long as he is there,” he said.

“But remember when Lukaku was at Chelsea and he had to come away and go to Everton. Then he ended up as top scorer and got his move to Man Utd.

“Possibly Everton is the sort of club you are looking at, just below the top six, for someone like Rashford, similar to what Lukaku did.

“You know you are going to play every week as the centre-forward and you know if you have a couple of games where you don’t score then you are still going to play the next week.

“Last season after they played Brighton away, Mourinho had a little pop at him and Lukaku went straight back into the team. That’s the problem you will always have.

“Does he have to leave United? I think so. Is he good enough to displace Lukaku? Is Rashford good enough to be Manchester United’s centre-forward for them trying to win the Premier League or the Champions League? He may not be.

“It gets to the stage where you want to play every week. Will he be an England regular or be Manchester United’s real centre-forward where you know, when the team is picked every week, that he is in it. Will it ever get to that stage?”

South Korea is a longstanding American ally, but President Donald Trump has spoken harshly about U.S. trade imbalances and threatened to tear up the bilateral trade pact.

“We will do more to remove barriers to reciprocal trade and market access,” Trump said, adding that the two leaders had talked about the thorny trade areas of steel and autos. Trump said he was encouraged by South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in’s assurances that he would seek a level playing field for American workers and businesses, particularly automakers. A joint statement said the two sides had agreed to work together to reduce over supply of basic materials such as steel and non-tariff barriers. It also said Trump had accepted an invitation from Moon to visit South Korea this year.

Bonnie Glaser, senior adviser for Asia at the Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank, said it was unwise for Trump to air the trade issue so publicly.

“Public complaints by Trump about unfair trade and inadequate defense spending provide opportunities for China and North Korea to drive a wedge between the allies,” she said.

The U.S. goods trade deficit with South Korea has more than doubled since the U.S.-Korea free trade pact known as KORUS took effect in 2012. The agreement was forecast to boost U.S. exports by $ 10 billion a year, but in 2016 they were $ 3 billion lower than in 2011.

At the start of Friday’s talks, U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the largest component of the deficit was automotive trade and many non-tariff barriers to U.S. auto exports to South Korea remained.

“I think the way to address it is to deal product by product with what we can do to change the export side and what we can do to reduce the bad imports side,” he said. Ross said later on Friday that some progress had been made in the talks.

The current pact was agreed to despite protests by supporters of Moon, who was then in opposition. But analysts have suggested that given the need to preserve a unified front in the face of a hostile North Korea, there could be compromise on both sides to resolve issues. A federal Kentucky judge has ruled that President Donald Trump’s rhetoric during a campaign rally last year provoked violence against three protesters, rejecting his defense that it was free speech.

Kashiya Nwanguma, Molly Shah, and Henry Brousseau, said they attended the Louisville, Kentucky, rally last March to “peacefully protest Trump.” His supporters then shoved, punched, and forcibly removed them from the event after the then presidential candidate yelled, “get ‘em out of here” several times.

US District Judge David J. Hale ruled Friday that the suit against Trump, his campaign, and three of his supporters will go forward. The president’s lawyers tried to dismiss the suit, arguing that Trump was using free speech and was not instructing the crowd to use force. Hale disagreed, citing violence at previous Trump rallies and noting the unrest started as soon as Trump told the crowd to remove the protesters. The Supreme Court has also ruled that speech that incites violence is not protected by the constitution.

“It is plausible that Trump’s direction to “get ’em out of here” advocated the use of force,” he wrote, stating that Trump should have known his statements would provoke violence. “It was an order, an instruction, a command.”

The protesters had filed a lawsuit after the March 1, 2016, rally, claiming that Trump encouraged violence and that they were the targets of racial and sexist slurs.

Video captured Trump supporter Matthew Heimbach, a white nationalist, roughly shoving Nwanguma.

Hale noted this particular incident, saying that Trump’s directive to “eject a black woman when several members of a group that Trump knew or should have known was a recognized hate group were present in the audience, was entirely reckless.”

Trump’s lawyers had argued that the three supporters did not start pushing the protesters because Trump told them to, that they were acting on their own initiative.

However, one of the protesters, Alvin Bamberger, later apologized for his actions. In a letter to the Korean War Veterans Association, whose uniform he wore at the rally, Bamberger recalled that “Trump kept saying ‘get them out, get them out’ and people in the crowd began pushing and shoving the protestors … I physically pushed a young woman down the aisle toward the exit.”

As the clash unfolded, Trump told the crowd “Don’t hurt ‘em. If I say, ‘Go get ‘em,’ I get in trouble with the press.”

Hale pointed out that if Trump had wanted these protesters removed he would have asked his security personnel to escort them out and “instructed the intervening audience members to stop what they were doing, rather than offering guidance on how to go about it.”

Remember David Cameron, the failed Prime Minister of Great Britain who slunk away from public life last year amid the chaos of Brexit? The man who will be remembered for being, among other things, the utter git who reportedly decided to hold the Brexit vote in a Chicago airport pizza restaurant? Well, he’s in the news again: The Financial Timesreports that he encouraged the mayor of London to drop proposed regulations against Uber.

According to the Times, in 2015, alleged pork fan Cameron and then-chancellor George Osborne had “conversations,” primarily in the form of text messages, with then-London mayor Boris Johnson. The chats apparently concerned measures introduced by Johnson that would have shored up the taxi industry’s fight against Uber; Cameron and Osborne allegedly encouraged Johnson to, uh, rethink the proposals. In 2016, some rules were indeed dropped; one rule would have seen Uber customers wait five minutes between requesting a ride and beginning a journey. (Others, including imposing English language tests on both Uber drivers and regular cab drivers, survived.)

The kicker, as the Times suggests, is that Cameron’s reported advocacy on behalf of Uber is even more suspect given his close ties to the company. His former strategy chief, Steve Hilton, is married to Rachel Whetstone, who does communications and public policy for Uber. Whetstone was hired at Uber in May 2015; the reported texts from Cameron were sent in late 2015, according to the Times.

The Times quotes an unnamed City Hall official who said that the alleged conversations included “making arguments about free markets and competition.” (Sounds riveting!) News of the texts was first reported by the Daily Mail, who filed a Freedom of Information request for the communications.

When asked about Cameron’s involvement, an Uber spokesperson wouldn’t say much, and instead sent Gizmodo a statement criticizing the rules Cameron supposedly argued against. A request for comment to 10 Downing Street wasn’t immediately returned, but we’ll update if we hear back.

Of course, for a man who still receives almost daily tweets calling him a “pig fucker” or saying he got “a blowy from a pig,” things surely can’t get much worse.
