The Masked Singer is getting all dolled up for Season 5 — and here’s a sneak peek performance to prove it. You can get a good look at the… innovative new Masked Singer entry via the full performance below, which Fox released Tuesday. In the clip, Russian Doll and a friend perform “Shallow,” the Grammy- and Oscar-winning Lady Gaga-Bradley Cooper ballad. (You truly have not lived until you’ve seen that little mouth flap up and down to all the “la-la-laaaa”s.) In addition to the previously announced addition of wildcard contestants in this season’s gameplay, Fox on Tuesday also introduced Cluedle-Doo (as seen below), a giant rooster who’ll mess with the judges and offer new clues about the players’ identities. The Masked Singer returns for Season 5 on Wednesday, March 10 at 8/7c. Niecy Nash (Claws) will guest-host the first few episodes, as a result of regular emcee Nick Cannon testing positive for COVID-19 in early February. Press PLAY on the video below to watch Russian Doll, then hit the comments with your early guesses!

One of the competitors in the upcoming season of Fox’s bizarre singing competition is Russian Doll, whose costume only allows for the most minimal of movements — a marionette-style mouth with a lower jaw that opens and closes.

If we could have dancing Trolls and fighting LEGOs, why not singing UglyDolls? The line of plush dolls branded as weird, creepy-cute toys had no indication of any musical ability when they exploded in popularity in the mid-2000s, but here we are. But if you’re going to make UglyDolls into a musical, why not go all in, as STX did with the uber-talented voice cast including Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Janelle Monae, and Nick Jonas. See the UglyDolls trailer below.
Felt monsters never looked so cute as they do in UglyDolls, the animated musical directed by Kelly Asbury which adapts the plush toy line created by Sun-Min Kim and David Horvath in 2001. The movie starts off in Uglyville, a place where the “weird is celebrated,” and follows the journey of a curious UglyDoll named Moxie who finds herself stumbling upon another town, Perfection, where conventionally beautiful dolls reside. It’s there where she and her crew of fellow UglyDolls learn to embrace their own imperfections and weirdness.
I’m a little impressed that Asbury and writer Erica Rivinoja were able to fashion a whole mythology for UglyDolls, a toy line that really had no hook apart from being really weird-looking. UglyDolls were the toys for “alt-kids,” the ones who thought themselves too cool for regular toys. Growing up at the height of the UglyDolls boom, I found that they made for fun collectibles, since each was wholly unique from the other. I’m not sure what to make of them turning this unique line of plushes into a musical, but hey when you got Kelly Clarkson leading the charge, I’ve got no complaints.
UglyDolls also stars Wanda Sykes, Emma Roberts, Gabriel Iglesias, Wang Leehom and Pitbull.
Here’s the official synopsis for UglyDolls:
In the adorably different town of Uglyville, weird is celebrated, strange is special and beauty is embraced as more than simply meets the eye. Here, the free-spirited Moxy and her UglyDolls friends live every day in a whirlwind of bliss, letting their freak flags fly in a celebration of life and its endless possibilities, occasionally looking to the sky, where a new UglyDoll will appear and be embraced by the community.
Moxy (Kelly Clarkson) loves her square-peg life in this round-hole town, but her curiosity about all things leads her to wonder if there’s something – anything – on the other side of the mountain which nestles Uglyville. Moxy gathers a group of her closest friends and sets off to find what’s on the other side. They discover another world – Perfection – a town where more conventional dolls are trained in protocols before they graduate and are sent to the “real” world to find the love of a child.
In Perfection, Moxy and her crew are subject to the manipulations of Lou (Nick Jonas), the perfect doll in charge of training recruits. Here, the UglyDolls will confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most. Also starring in the voice cast of UGLYDOLLS are Wanda Sykes, Emma Roberts, Gabriel Iglesias, and Wang Leehom.
UglyDolls opens in theaters on May 10, 2019.

As Japan’s birth rates fell below the 1 million mark last year, experts have pointed the finger at the rising popularity of sex dolls for singletons.
The issue is the focus of the RT documentary ‘Substitutes,’ in which experts warn that sex dolls are fueling a national mood of loneliness and alienation, making people less interested in human relationships and procreation, and turning the Japanese into an “endangered species.”

Industry insiders claim that up to 2,000 life-like dolls, each with adjustable fingers, a removable head, and genitals, are sold annually in Japan. For sex doll salesman Noburu Tanaka, the advantage of owning one of the ¥420,000 ($ 3,750) synthetic dolls is its lack of expectation. “It’s an amazing feeling. It looks like a doll, but you feel as though it’s really alive,” he told RT. “When you make love to your wife, there can be some problems. With a doll, none of that matters.”

Experts have seen evidence of declining birth rates in areas where there has been a contrasting rise in sex doll sales. For Kanako Amano, a demography expert at the NLI Research Institute in Tokyo, the dolls pose an existential threat to the future of a country where the population is estimated to decline by a third in the next 30 years. “The biggest problem in Japan is the decline in birthrate and population. It’s being called a national disaster,” she said. “The Japanese are at a crossroads, facing the threat of extinction. We’re an endangered species.”
Loneliness among older people seems to be the main driver of the rise in doll sales in Japan. Moru, a sex doll owner, purchased his in the years after the death of his wife. “There was a void in my heart,” he told the documentary team, as he pointed at the row of dolls arranged in a sitting position on his couch. “When I met them, my life became inextricably bound to them. Since these girls appeared in my home, and thanks to them, I haven’t felt that lonely anymore…”

Moru regularly teams up with his friend Keroro, an owner of up to 20 dolls, for drives or trips to the park. They pose the dolls alongside each other on park benches before taking photographs, joking about the human qualities of their inanimate partners, remarking about how tense or nervous one looks.
The dolls are not only used by older people, however. Hitsuji, a young female model, popular with teenagers in Japan, adores her doll Masiro and says she has no desire to live with men.
“Masiro is not a friend, a family member or a loved one. She’s a creature who accepts my love,” she said. “I have never consorted with men like that.”
Demography expert Amano believes the statistics offer a staggering insight into the problem faced by the Japanese. “The curve of unmarried men and women is spiking up. This is the nation’s most accurate and trustworthy research,” she said.

China’s sharing economy took a new turn recently, as a new app, its symbol a single yellow banana, briefly brought rentable sex dolls to Chinese phones.
Called Ta Qu, to resemble the English word “Touch,” the app enables users to rent the life-sized dolls, which come in various models, for $ 45 a day — with a $ 1,200 deposit. The operators assured users that they would be washed between rentals.
But Ta Qu climaxed all too soon, and it was rapidly shut down by the authorities after the story went viral on the Chinese internet.
But they’re only the tip of a massive and growing market in Chinese society for sex dolls, as the country grapples with a growing shortage of women.
Thanks to a long-held cultural preference for sons, coupled with over three decades of restrictive population planning policies, China is forecast to have over 30 million surplus men by 2030. This preference for boys has slowly dwindled, especially in the cities, but the country still faces a critical gap for the next few decades.
To help alleviate this and other demographic woes, Beijing in 2015 announced a switch to a nationwide two-child policy, but the damage to this generation’s sexual relationships has already been done.
Tyrone Siu/ReutersChinese authorities cannot magic up a Canadian-sized population of women to be the wives, mothers, and caregivers the country desperately needs now. This has led the nation in search of solutions, ranging from the improbable — proposals to revive wife-sharing — to the unspeakable, such as a rise in sex trafficking.
It has also led to a dramatic rise in the popularity of sex toys for lonely men.
While reliable industrywide numbers are unavailable, sales of sex toys on online platforms such as Alibaba and Taobao surged an average of 50 percent year-on-year in the last five years, according to a report by Global Times.
The lifestyle news site StartUp Living China reported last year that Singles Day — China’s biggest online shopping event — saw a surge in the sale of sex dolls, with one seller offloading 500 units with an average of one sale per minute. Over 65 percent of sex toys sold online were to males between the ages of 18 to 29, according to the report.
I didn’t anticipate this explosion in 2013, when I visited a sex doll factory in Dongguan, southern China. I was researching my book on the consequences of the one-child policy and was curious about where a nationwide absence of women might lead.
But I was operating more on hunch than certainty that demand for sex dolls would escalate.
Even the company I profiled, Hitdoll, was hinging their business model on a mix of domestic and global sales. Proprietor Vincent He wasn’t sure China’s burgeoning market of bachelors would be their best customer base, saying, “Thirty-year-old single men tend not to spend the money on dolls. They can go for real women.”
That said, sex toy usage — though not dolls — was already being normalized in China to a degree that was not the case in the West, in part propelled by a vast, and mostly male, migrant population separated from their families.
I knew from my reporting that the shopping areas they frequented sold products such as artificial vaginas. There seemed to be less social stigma around the idea than in the West, judged both by the prominence with which they were displayed in the ubiquitous corner sex stores and the open discussion of the virtues and flaws of different devices in male-dominated forums online.
Claro Cortes IV/ReutersAside from demographics, China has a demonstrated manufacturing capacity to bring prices down and tip sex dolls from niche to mainstream, a combustible mix.
With this in mind, in 2013 I set out to Dongguan, the pulsing heart of China’s manufacturing belt in the south. Clad in a leather jacket and jeans, He, an affable man in his early 50s, met me at his workshop. His company used to make office furniture for export, but rising labor costs had pushed profits down, so they began casting around for a new product.
The workshop was small, churning out some 10-12 customizable life-sized models shipped out in coffin-like crates every month. Scantily clad buxom models lounged in chairs; some, like the Venus de Milo, missing limbs. He and his employees showed me around the premises with a matter-of-fact air, cupping rubbery teats and parting silicone thighs with as much sangfroid as if they were still making office chairs.
“The nipples — they are very tough,” said He, tugging vigorously. “Normal ones,” he said, “could never withstand such treatment.”
At this point all major companies making high-end dolls were overseas. China was better known for cheaper blow-up dolls that could be easily transported. Leading companies such as California-based Abyss Creations crafted customizable models capable of limited speech and body warmth costing about $ 8,000 to $ 10,000. Hitdoll, in time-honored Chinese manufacturing tradition, was looking to replicate this with fewer features and a much lower price point.
For three years, Hitdoll experimented with different prototypes at a test facility in Guangzhou’s university district. They used college students as testers, advertising with flyers that said things like, “Fake Dolls, Real Love.”
To my surprise, these testers formed a group that met regularly to eat and sing karaoke.
They even had a name, the Kawaii Club — using a Japanese term for cuteness, especially as applied to young women, adopted into Chinese. Feng Wengguang, a former Guangdong University of Technology student, was a member.
Steve Marcus/ReutersHis description of his experiences sounded like a perverse telling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Early on, the Kawaii Club members complained the prototypes were too stiff, too cold, too unreal. (The manager, He, remembered receiving feedback such as, “Your doll is so cold, like a dead body.”)
Hitdoll’s makers experimented with materials (silicone and TPE, or thermoplastic elastomers, found in bottle-cap liners and dental guards) breast size (C to EE) hair (synthetic, animal, human) and ethnicity (African, Asian, Caucasian).
Feng, then 24, viewed all this as playful experimentation. He never saw himself as part of Hitdoll’s audience demographic.
He never saw himself as part of Hitdoll’s audience demographic.
He and the other Kawaii Club members were sure they could “find real woman.”
Weren’t they worried about hygiene issues? Vincent He showed me the disposable rubber vaginas they used. Each Kawaii member got to keep them after the trials, he said.
It was a real perk, he assured me: such things typically retailed for about $ 15. All in all, the Kawaii Club soldiered through 100 prototypes before Hitdoll developed a model worthy of exhibiting at the Guangzhou Sex Culture Festival.
Most of that reporting trip didn’t find its way into my book. For one thing, I worried that a great deal of this was speculative. Nobody knew for sure how China’s gender gap would play out in the long run, and I didn’t want to overstate the importance of what might be a small-bore attempt to address a big problem.
It also sounded unbelievable, especially to Western ears. A sex doll maker called “He,” pronounced “Her”? And his workshop was in Guangzhou’s university district, known in Chinese as Longdong? (I still remember firmly pressing the “delete” button on my computer after spelling it out.)
In retrospect, my visit to Dongguan was significant given China’s current gender chaos. The city, a manufacturing hub of the Chinese south, embodies skewed gender relations: it’s powered by female factory workers, yet ruled by men.
In its heyday, visiting male executives spent several months there away from their wives, with extended off-work bacchanals at the numerous karaoke bars, clubs, and brothels that earned Dongguan the nickname “Eastern Amsterdam.”
Like Silicon Valley, Dongguan owes its existence to globalization and expansiveness but is riddled with hidebound, intense sexism. There is perhaps no more apt place for birthing the instruments that could take China’s gender wars into its next phase.
China Daily/ReutersSoon after my visit, the government launched a major crackdown on prostitution in Dongguan, turning the notorious red-light city a “deep pink.” The crackdown, which began on Valentine’s Day, proved so ruinous it wiped out an estimated $ 8 billion in takings, about one-tenth of the city’s total revenues, according to Lin Jiang, a finance professor at Sun Yat-sen University.
Dongguan never completely recovered its anything-goes air as China’s mecca of prostitution. But as trading of real women flagged, the market for fake women in China began to take off.
The increasing use of sex dolls has of course amplified concerns — both in and out of China — as to whether this sexually objectifies real women and encourages a Westworld-like rise in violence. “Men’s rights activists” online have long argued that widespread use of sex dolls will deprive women of their supposed power over men.
‘Men’s rights activists’ online have long argued that widespread use of sex dolls will deprive women of their supposed power over men.
Some supporters of sex dolls even argue it could actually decrease rape culture and reduce demand for sex trafficking.
The latter argument is of real concern in China, which the U.S. State Department this year named one of the worst offenders in the global sex trade. It’s unclear exactly how many women are trafficked into China from neighboring countries, but numbers are definitely on the rise, spurred by the absence of young women from the marriage market, especially in rural areas.
Vietnam alone had an estimated 4,500 women trafficked between 2011-2015, with 70 percent taken to China, where a Vietnamese “bride” could fetch about $ 18,500.
These arguments are of course echoed in other parts of the world where usage of sex robots are increasingly more popular, including even the opening of a sex doll brothel in Spain. But what might appear to be a whimsical desire in, say, Japan, looks expeditious in Jiangxi, where the gender ratio is 138 men to 100 women. (The average global ratio is 105 men for 100 women.)
China’s gender gap is already contributing to a rise in violent crime, with China’s bachelors demonstrating lower self-esteem and higher rates of depression and aggression. The gains made by its educated female workforce are already sparking nostalgia for the past, including the rising popularity of lectures promoting subservient women.
In my book, I described one such workshop, where the lecturer, Ding Xuan, said strong women are more cancer-prone because, “The gods are helping you, as you do not want to be a woman any more.”
Kim Kyung Hoon/ReutersLinda Pittwood, who studies the representation of women in Chinese art, said the dolls are “an extreme representation of women as submissive objects of fantasy, available to be borrowed around by a number of men.” She added, “These are all really damaging ideas, which I think will leak out from the sex doll-sharing service and reinforce where women are regarded in these ways in wider culture.”
The controversy is bound to intensify as sex dolls become more popular — and lifelike. Hitdoll’s competitors, the Dalian-based DS Doll and 2015 newcomer J-Suntech, are already rolling out models that can be programmed for limited speech and movements through smartphone apps. (The models on Ta Qu’s stymied doll-share app can be programmed to make moaning sounds.)
It’s ironic, but arguments that sex dolls are dehumanizing will only strengthen as the models become more realistic.
Arguments that sex dolls are dehumanizing will only strengthen as the models become more realistic.
Ta Qu promised a variety of fantasy women, from “Wonder Women” to “Hong Kong Student.”
But they all shared the same still, unnatural face, and fell squarely into the uncanny valley between human and machine. More realistic dolls, however, could blur the boundaries between real women and sex objects.
“Realistic” women are the aim of many Chinese robot-makers, even if most of them aren’t doing it for straight-up sexual purposes.
Jia Jia, developed by the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, was able to conduct a stilted interview with Wired writer Kevin Kelly.
A former Huawei computer engineer created a robot he found so realistic he “married” it in 2016. Fed up of being teased about his bachelor status, Zheng Jiajia held a faux marriage ceremony with robot Yingying, vowing to eventually upgrade the robot’s abilities until it can walk and do housework.
Still, a country desperately trying to raise birth rates and keep its economy churning might have bigger problems. As Pittwood pointed out, “That is one thing that the sex dolls can’t offer: babies.”

China’s famous sharing economy plumbed unchartered new depths this week with the launch of a service that allows you to share sex dolls with strangers for around $ 45.
The booming sharing economy has generated increasing media attention recently, with everything from bicycles to basketballs getting their own sharing app.

Exploiting a potential gap in the market many consumers would not have thought existed, an app called Touch (他趣) has created a new “share his girlfirend” service where you can rent sex dolls.
In a post on its Sina Weibo microblogging account, Touch revealed that it has launched a pilot service in Beijing.
Touch urged customers not to be impatient if they can’t get a booking during the trial period because a limited number of dolls are available.
“Russian teenager”
The app offers five different models to choose from, and China’s Global Times reports that users can customize their hair and eye color as well as their outfits.
“Russian teenager” is one of the options along with “Hong Kong car race cheerleader,”“Korean housewife,” “Greek bikini model,” and “US Wonder Woman.”
Any potential customers will be happy to learn that Touch takes hygiene seriously.
“The dolls’ lower parts are changed for every customer,” a note on the app reads, according to Global Times.
“Please remove the lower parts before returning. After the lower parts are cleaned, the doll can be used repeatedly.”
Other posts on Weibo reveal that one of the dolls generated a lot of attention when it took a ride on a Beijing subway.
The price of a night with one of the dolls is 298 yuan ($ 45.5) and a rather steep 8,000 yuan ($ 1,220) deposit is also required.
If you want an entire week with your very own Wonder Woman, it will set you back 1,298 yuan ($ 198).

Is there anything more wholesome than Toy Story? Well… The sequel to the beloved PIXAR animated classic is back on TV screens today but Toy Sotry 2 suddenly seems more like Toy Story too, too much.
To start with, consider the basic premise that all toys can come alive behind their unsuspecting owners’ backs. In a fair and equal world tis mst also mean the same for the poor old hidden away sex toys. After all , we’d hate to be prejudiced.
Then just think about those names.
Woody? Buzz? How did we not see this before? The movies have always appealed to adults as much as kids but suddenly the Toy Story universe seems to have a whole other level to it.
WARNING ADULT CONTENT AND IMAGES
In the real world, adult toys are entering the future, with unbelievable advances in sex robots that will even engage in banter to relax their owners, or require wooing and encourage flirting.
Imagine if The Rabbit came hopping, or buzzing, across your bedroom at night? What about if a sex toy or inflatable doll suddenly came to life behind your back?
If every well-loved plaything has a secret life, then why should sex toys be excluded? Many of them are certainly well-loved by their owners for many years…
This Toy Story theory caused a sensation recently.
The delightfully named Reddit user superpooper00 said: “In the Toy Story universe, toys aren’t the only living things. There are Christmas decorations, lawn ornaments, and I’d presume many other things.
“Does anyone think this would include sex dolls?”
The overwhelming majority of responses thought it Woody would.
THIS TOY STORY THEORY WILL BREAK YOUR HEART – EVEN TOM HANKS AGREES
Reddit user TricksterPriestJace replied: “Yes. Sex dolls are made specifically to be played with and enjoyed, just like toys.
“Also there was no age restriction on the toys themselves, they remained sentient far after their owners grew out of them, after being broken and rebuilt, or even being abandoned. Also toys that were never played with, like the Prospector were still alive.
“I do think sex dolls would, like children’s toys, be obsessed with their owners and want to please them.”
TOY STORY 2 IS ON BBC1 AT 4.35PM ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 27.
“People said we should make her a MILF, but honestly, I couldn’t think of anything more boring,” says Krivicke, 46, as he hands me the head of a silicone mannequin made to resemble a middle-aged woman. I may be standing in an East L.A. warehouse surrounded by disembodied breasts, but I’m mesmerized by the hand-painted laugh lines framing her mouth, and her glass eyes, which are indistinguishable from the real thing. “She looks back at you, doesn’t she?” he asks, knowing the answer.

“We started writing a story around her, and now all of the mannequins are a part of it. They’re more than toys to us,” Krivicke says, with an arm slung around the shoulder of a male mannequin. “The minute it stops being interesting and challenging, I’m out of the business,” he insists, leaning in to examine the stubble on the mannequin’s chin.
Sinthetics, which Krivicke and Keller started on Valentine’s Day 2011, is the world’s top-of-the-line artisanal sex doll manufacturer because the founders’ goal is to create not only a sex doll but an object of affection. “Anyone can go on a website and buy a $ 200 piece of latex that will ‘satisfy’ them,” says longtime friend and virtual reality experience developer Greg Edwards. “Sinthetics makes art that can affect their customers emotionally.”
Much like a sex surrogate, ‘love dolls’ give the customer a feeling of privacy, safety and security.
Hudsy Hawn, educator at Stockroom University
The process starts with a conversation between Keller and a potential client. The 42–year-old neon redhead moved to the States from her native South Africa to pursue art school. Since then, she’s worked as an interior designer and a textbook editor — and now as a curator of love dolls. She met Krivicke in 2005 at a Burning Man party. Back then, he was a commercial sculptor specializing in toys and Halloween masks. They kissed at midnight and have been a couple ever since.
“The most interesting thing to me is the psychology,” she says. “[We’re] trying to find something [the client] can have an actual connection with.” From that conversation, she develops a profile of the perfect companion for their client. Then, Krivicke, together with two other artists, will spend four to eight months molding, designing and hand-painting the mannequin to the customer’s exact specifications — from eye color and facial expression to the size of, well, everything. The dolls can be male, female or transgender, and they can be modified to look like vampires, angels or aliens.
There was a time not long ago when sex-toy manufacturers operated under the radar — their products considered too taboo to be mainstream. But in 2016, the industry passed the $ 15 billion point, according to adult-entertainment industry news source Xbiz, with Forbes projecting it’ll hit $ 50 billion by 2020. Sinthetics has been in the business of making clients’ fantasies come true for years, but in the face of a booming market, their $ 6,400 starting price tag often sends customers shopping elsewhere. More players means lower price points, and small manufacturers like Sinthetics are finding it hard to stay competitive against overseas operations selling dolls for hundreds, rather than thousands, of dollars. “The only way we can compete is by making a better product,” Keller says.

Sinthetics may peddle fantasy fulfillment, but logistically, making the most lifelike sex doll is anything but. Krivicke and Keller live in an apartment above the warehouse, and they are chronically understaffed due to the difficulty of finding qualified painters — which means working around the clock to stay on top of the 16 dolls in production at any given time. Lately, however, they’ve found market share in an unexpected place.
“The trans community is keeping us alive right now,” Krivicke says, gesturing to a wall of penises behind me. While the business is predicated on full dolls, the various body parts are made to be interchangeable or used separately. When Sinthetics entered the market, a client in the trans community saw a penis Krivicke had created and asked that one be specially crafted to work with their body. Not only did the piece have the feel of the real thing, but Sinthetics customized it to the client’s specifications, even matching the proper skin tone.

“They said they felt whole for the first time while wearing our piece,” Krivicke says. He and Keller agree that their relationship with their clients is what separates them from bigger manufacturers like RealDoll and Mechadoll. It’s also what keeps them in the business.
Keller mentions a disabled customer who purchased a doll for company after it became impossible to leave the house. This is more common than not, according to Hudsy Hawn, who runs adult education at Stockroom University. “Much like a sex surrogate, ‘love dolls’ give the customer a feeling of privacy, safety and security,” she says. And as technology has made the world more solitary for many, love dolls can offer more than sex.
Krivicke and Keller say they plan to continue creating the highest-quality product for their clients while challenging themselves artistically, betting that, as new competitors enter the field, there will always be customers who love their work. “You have to find beauty in imperfection,” Krivicke says as he takes the mannequin head back from me.

A UK prisoner has called for inmates to be given a sex doll modeled on their other half in a bid to offset the effects of pent-up testosterone in the penal system.
Jack Swarez is serving 17 years for drug dealing and feels his long stretch would be easier served with the help of a familiar companion.
Swarez laid out his theory in the prison publication, Inside Time, explaining he was inspired by a Channel 4 documentary about men living with sex dolls. “I noticed that all of these men looked very happy and stress-free,” he said. As the UK doesn’t allow conjugal visits for inmates, sex dolls could be used instead, Swarez suggested.
“There are companies who manufacture these doll women and, if this idea is taken up, everyone who purchases one can send a photo of their loved one and have the company incorporate their features into the doll,” Swarez said.
“The trouble is, our prisons are full of young men filled with testosterone who would give their right arm for a bit of passion,” he added. “The frustration of this situation makes these young men restless and wanting to cause mischief.”
According to Swarez, sex dolls could “help alleviate this ongoing problem,” and even “de-stress the wings of every establishment the length and breadth of our nation.”
Sex dolls wouldn’t only help with prisoners’ frustrations, Swarez explained. “As these doll women would have to be manually blown-up,” smokers would have a chance to “exercise their lungs,” he said, adding “It’s a win-win situation.”
“They could enjoy date nights, watch the soaps together, listen to music – everything that you would normally do with your partner,” Swarez said, adding that the prisoners would only be able to access their dolls at the weekend, and would have to “release the air from their partner and put her/him back into the box,” during the week.
Swarez was jailed in 2012 for 17 years after he was found to be the “managing director” of a drug gang which brought heroin and cocaine to the UK. He’s serving his time in HMP Lowdham Grange, Nottinghamshire.
